what about how Bilbo probably couldn’t meet pippin and merry’s eyes for the longest time because every time he saw them, all he could see was fili and kili ☹️

how many times did bilbo almost slip up and call the hobbits by names that were not their own but all bilbo could see was that same mischievous twinkle he saw in those two young dwarves eyes?

how many years would it be before the hobbits realized why gandalf was so hard on them? why bilbo had stopped looking at them with such devastation on his face but could not hide the anguish in his eyes?

bilbo never told any of the young hobbits his full journey, always making everything seem more heroic and thrilling than the profound loss everyone suffered in The Company. It probably wasn’t until Frodo left with his uncle that merry and pippin realized why the old hobbit could never truly meet their eyes when sam let them read the book containing both of their journeys ☹️

okay this is a bit of a shot in the dark but i read a (probably) bagginshield fic a few months ago, the dwarves (probably fíli and kíli) are bored and restless on their journey to erebor and bilbo tells them to listen. they start listening to like the sounds around them on their walk but also to little things, like two of the dwarves flirting at the back of the group and start noticing little things about their friends they didn't know before and the other dwarves do it too.

anyways i think about it regularly but i can't find it and now i need it for a school assignment

Since I got into Heaven Official's Blessing, I ended up getting the books on kindle (and am working on getting their physical copies still) as well. But just like any rabbit hole goes. I have now ALSO, finally, watched Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation and just started the live Action (The Untamed). I was interested in trying it out back in 2019 and only JUST got around to it. .... and yes, I'll be getting my hands on it's books too. How far down this Rabbit Hole am I going to go?

Currently reading Sansûkh because I am not able to move around much right now, and I was just thinking how like, all the interspecies ships HAVE to be collaborative works between Mahal and the other Valar, so basically they got together and made OC's specifically to fall in love and get married, and if that isn't fandom-coded behavior, idk what is.

Tldr: the Valar are a bunch of artist friends who get together and make dolls together so they can kiss and fall in love and get married 💕

Thinking about being an elven princess and being betrothed to Fíli - to improve relationships between your kingdom and his- but being absolutely enthralled by Kíli (sorry to all my Fíli lovers but im having a moment here)

By dwarvish standards Kíli isn’t particularly handsome, but his brother is, so it makes sense that you’d be set to marry him. But theres something so special about Kíli that you can’t quite place. Is it his charm, his stupidly handsome grin, or maybe its his eyes..oh god his eyes.

You spend weeks -per your own request- learning about dwarvish customs and earning the people’s trust. BUT GOD DAMN Kíli is fine and you try to stay away from him, you really do, but by some divine miracle-me- you constantly end up being together.

Now to ease the pain a little, Fíli isn’t a complete idiot and is clear that you’re in love with his brother, and thats fine…coz he doesn’t want you either. But the wedding is tomorrow and its too late to cancel that ho.
