Here is some fanart I’ve done of @evertidings ‘s game “When Twilight Strikes”

I love this game, I’ve had so much fun with it so far and am excited for future updates, Out of all the characters the one that I’m going for has to be Rylan, Nikolas coming close second and Kian coming third, what characters are everyone else going for?

Here are what I’ve imagined the gang to look like I’m pretty happy with how they turned out the only one that I’m not completely sure of is Kian, I would like at some point to redraw him again and fix up a few things <3

I absolutely adored this part not only for the great angst (that's how you easily win me over), but also because it unexpectedly provided an opportunity to delve into a significant aspect of my MC’s background. I've chosen to develop her with a tendency towards recklessness, almost bordering on "suicidal tendencies", though she remains unaware of it. Having grown up surrounded by constant threats, danger has become ingrained in her life, leading to a diminished sense of fear.

In the face of adversity, she has embraced a philosophy of "acceptance," allowing her to adapt easily to new perils but leaving her hesitant to confront dire conditions head-on. I think it's fascinating to explore how she suppresses her anguish, offering a unique perspective on her resilience.

As the story unfolds in future chapters, I envision my main character's growth influenced by Kian's concept of immortality which could present a compelling opportunity for her to evolve and navigate her internal strugge.

A: nothing really, but they keep all their birthday cards and thank you cards from over the years in a box. sentimental bitch <3

Blane: do plants count? they have quite the collection, makes you wonder if they get a lot of fresh oxygen with how many are producing it

N: vinyls, keeps them in wooden crates and treasures them deeply (though they're not the type to get more than one copy of the same record)

K: books, they have a mini library in their home (it's their pride and joy)

Rylan: not so much a collection but the rings they wear are from several different people throughout their life, some sentimental and some not (others being what they found on the street)

Mylo de Vries is 28, born in Utrecht in the Netherlands but moved to England when he was in his teens for his parents’ work. When they moved back home they left him their house because he felt settled there. He’s a free spirit in that way, doesn’t NEED to work but bartends at a pub and a gay club, the pub being how he meets Jesse.

He’s friendly but it’s never anything deeper, he likes to chat and find out more about people but doesn’t like giving up much of himself. He’s touch averse because in canon he hears people’s thoughts/reads their emotions through skin-to-skin contact. He doesn’t get attached easily, and while he has many “friends”, until Jesse comes along he didn’t really let people IN aside from his parents. Also, extremely nosy and reckless, doesn’t know about minding his own business or thinking before doing stupid things. He’s a bit vain - mostly it’s all self confidence - but he also tries to make the people he cares about take some of that on about themselves.

Even though he has abilities he never really let himself get caught up in what our main antagonist is up to. He NEARLY got sucked in when he was trying to figure out why he was hearing voices, but was led away from the people trying to lure him into a trap by an anonymous person who, a long while later, they discover was Jesse.

He gets on really well in our AUs with Ezra, Nico, Kian, Cor, River and Des. And Jesse, obviously. Always Jesse, the first person who finally made him stop and think “maybe I could let someone in.”

Jesse MacKay is 34, Scottish, 5’11 (basically same height as Mylo), heavily tattooed including full sleeves, neck and hands. He’s a professional artist (painter, traditional). In general Jesse is hard to get along with. He comes off as grouchy, sometimes mean, because he’s blunt and doesn’t really care about dancing around anyone’s feelings even when he should. Basically if he doesn’t have to say anything at all, he won’t. He prefers to talk as little as possible and he isn’t a very social person. Underneath it he’s sweet, though, and he’s a deeply good person, which shows through whether he wants it to or not.

When Jesse was younger, he had a relationship with another man, which he tried to hide from his family. When they found out, they pretty much disowned him and he moved away. Since then he has tried to avoid relationships altogether and definitely has some repression issues with his sexuality.

Mylo ends up being the perfect person to befriend him because Mylo blows past all Jesse’s walls pretty quickly. They get close fairly fast and each of them are the first person the other has really “let in” in a very long time. Jesse gets protective of Mylo almost immediately, and puts up with Mylo’s incessant flirting because even if it takes him a long time to admit it, he really likes Mylo.

In any spare time he gets Jesse is trying to help other people (always anonymously) just because it’s what’s right.

kian de vries x f!hunter: sutton hart

sutton loves art and interior design. she spends most of her days off redoing her apartment. she’ll paint the walls or change wallpapers, buy new decorations, revamp her closet, etc. she always comes up with a new project for her place

kian’s penthouse is her heaven on earth. she’s nosy but she’s also respectful of boundaries so she makes sure to never touch any of his belongings. she doesn’t wanna get kicked out

friendship stage: when kian’s feeling generous, he allows sutton to come over but not without a “where’s devereux for you to bother?”

over time, he’s picked up on sutton’s curiosity and could clearly tell that she was holding back from asking him about his paint collection and artworks. if he catches her staring at one of his paintings, he sometimes takes it upon himself to tell her about it

sometimes sutton brings up a historically significant art piece she thinks kian is old enough to have personally witnessed and goes “i’ve read on google that [insert information here]. how accurate is that?”

once they grow closer and it’s clear to sutton that kian’s tolerance for her has become consistent, she starts to throw in jokes like showing him a picture of a famous art piece before asking: “which one’s older, this or you?”

on kian’s birthday, the whole gang throws a small intimate party. they know kian’s taste is expensive so they’ll buy a small birthday cake from a fancy bakery while sutton bakes a bigger cheaper cake.

“we needed to make sure we had enough cake for like, 200 candles”

after the party and everyone’s left, sutton stays behind and gives kian his actual present. it’s a small envelope, causing him to look at her confused. “it’s not money,” she spoils it. “we both know i’m the less fortunate one here.”

when he finally opens it, he sees two tickets inside. he doesn’t say anything so sutton speaks up. “i wasn’t sure what to get you for your birthday but there’s this pop-up art gallery that just opened and… i don’t know. maybe you’d like to see it?” when he remains silent, she curses herself. shit, i knew it. it’s too cheap.

“don’t worry. you don’t have to pay me back!” she nervously blurts out.

“just two tickets?” he asks with a very slightly playful undertone. “and the others?”

“well it’s not their birthday,” she lightheartedly answers which makes kian chuckle.

“thank you,” he simply says with a smile.

later that night, sutton most likely texts arion or rylan: “I MADE HIM LAUGH!!!!!!!!!”

hi! this isn’t a bother at all from either of you. honestly, i go about saying character's names wrong all the time so i'm not super picky how you say anything, but this is how i personally pronounce things:
