but I decided to be impartial when it comes to ships when they involve a baby, more for my emotional health than anything, I get too attached to a fictional child who is sad at this point in my life.

and well, I also made an answer for that once, I think, that post must be somewhat lost, but it's out there and I had a chat about it with someone when I made that post too.

Brozone are very upset, not because of the pregnancy itself but because their baby brother will have a baby, and because someone else managed to fill that hole that they left, that is if it is after Branch recovers his colors if it is before, they are Furious because someone left his brother pregnant and refused to take care of it (in short, another body in JD's pile), but it is, somewhat confusing for them because of the baby, I say nothing changes, they are still like the ones I planted until now, except that they are more careful and do not give him as many sleeping pills so as not to get sick or harm the baby, although if they decide that the baby is a threat they will not hesitate to do anything so that Branch loses him.

So it depends a lot on the baby, and I talked about this with someone, but I don't feel comfortable making that talk so it will be a summary of the understanding.

I used Hickory for that example because I have this thought that Yodelers look a little like satyrs.

So it depends a lot on what the baby looks like (if they are a little superficial), but if the baby looks more like Hickory, Brozone doesn't become so attached to the little one, they only tolerate him because they see certain Branch traits in the child, If it weren't for that, they would ignore him completely, they would leave Hickory to take care of the baby more than Branch, but if it were the other way around and the little one looked more like Branch, he would be loved and adored like his mother, he would be the center of attention with Branch and Now just think, Brozone wants to isolate Branch, with a baby in the middle, they could do something mean and threaten to hurt the child so that Branch listens (and they would hurt him, maybe not a big damage but something that will leave a scar for him). for Branch to see or notice easily, as a reminder.

Getting into situations

Listening: New job which means I have need for a quick and easy source of music that I can throw down on any device with internet while I figure out exactly where I draw the line on mixing personal music files with corporate hardware. Hence, soma.fm, a really good family of internet radio stations that I enjoy a lot.

There's several stations here but to call out ones I like in no particular order:

Beat Blender: Slower house music and electronica

Metal Detector: What it says on the tin, mixed metals

Sonic Universe: Weird jazz

Secret Agent: Normal jazz

SF 10-33: The San Francisco emergency radio broadcast channel mixed with ambient music

Vaporwaves: Look we all have to get stupid sometime

Watching: Movie Night was also a sort of belated Diwali Night because a friend of mine has been getting extremely into indian food, so we watched "Sita Sings the Blues", an 82 minute, Creative Commons, mostly one-woman animation project that is a retelling of the Ramayana and also a breakup jukebox jazz musical.

There's about 30 minutes of a decent movie in here and another 15-20 minutes of the breakup part that would be hard to cut since it's the reason it exists. It's an animation from 2008 and you can see that it's exactly what it needs to be to run on one person who knows Flash reasonably well. The "blues" part is because there's numerous musical segments that use pre-existing 1920's jazz numbers to set the tone which reportedly cost the author tens of thousands of dollars to license, and she's now a free culture advocate so this is how you get Cory Doctorows I guess.

Is it good? I mean there's some really good parts. The legend is delivered in the form of three shadow puppets half-remembering the story to put it together which is very endearing in a Bill Wurtz History Of Japan kind of way. The amount of effort on display for 2008 is enormous. The concept is impressive, in that you found all these songs, but you could have probably cut the songs and got this down to a tight 40.

Also started The Book of All Skies on the metro the other day, and have gotten to the end of the first act. Compelling! Love an Egan, one of very few authors who can put a topology lesson into a book without it sucking ass.

Making: Made Gulab Jamun for movie night. From spreading my diwali cooking over more than three days I'm learning that actually this shit is easy if you don't try to cram it all into three days. I should make this stuff more often.

Playing: Poking and fiddling with things a little. Still not in the headspace to pick up a full game again. Once I have a schedule I can get back into video games but when I don't have a schedule that includes video games.

Tools and Equipment: Keyd is the new-ish hotness for client-side remapping of keyboard keys. It's not quite a custom build, but it's close.

Allows you to get 99% of the way to whatever zany custom mapping you want under Linux with fairly universal coverage and minimal faff in a very compact and manageable package.

Hello! I just re-read part of Bright Morning Stars, and I’ve been thinking about Leoni. How is she doing right now? (Now meaning as of the latest chapter of Gold Rush). Nina heard a rumor that there was a “drought” in 11, and both district 8 tributes have the fire motif of the rebellion. How is she feeling about recent events in the games? Of course, if that’s a spoiler you don’t need to say anything.

She's certainly having an interesting time! She's a lot more keyd into the inter-District rebel movement now, and she's quite busy with the "drought". Leoni will actually be back as a POV in the Catching Fire equivalent fic (tentatively titled We Talk About Enemies More Than We Used To) as will all our other POV characters, and her POV will be focused on the upcoming events in Eleven

How they built their team;

Wybie and his friends enjoyed playing many type of games, but they performed exponentially well when they are all working together. One day, Wybie discovered a brand new mobile 5v5 MOBA game called "Mobile Legends: Bang Bang" and named his account "Jonesy" as a placeholder. Once Wybie introduced it to his friends, they quickly fell in love with it and always played the game as a group. To make each of their IGN (in game name) cohesive, Kubo, Norman, Neil and Eggs all named their accounts depending on who they are with / in a relationship to, since that's how Wybie named his own (Jonesy). Norman and Neil weren't afraid to let the world know of their duo. The more time passed, the more the group's skills evolved. Three pros in the e-sports league- Sir Lionel, Adelina and Susan spotted the group's potential in the competitive scene of professional MLBB.

Together, they formed the LAIKA Keyds.
