So something I’ve been noticing is how many stories there are about Mick that include an aside of Charlie being there. There’s that one you posted about the album cover designer talking about meeting Mick, but Charlie was also there with him the whole time. I also saw a story on a ‘have you met anyone famous?’ Twitter thread where someone who worked at a music store said they met Mick when he came in looking for an album and then in a follow-up tweet said Charlie was also there “in a non-speaking role.” Or when Mick met a potential ghostwriter and Charlie was also there. And I know I’ve read several other articles where the focus is on Mick but then a sentence off-handedly reveals Charlie has silently been sitting on the couch or wandering around in the background before the writer turns the attention back to Mick. It’s so extrovert/introvert old married couple I can’t stand it.

I really like charactes who are super good with kids, but nobody else believes it, so the character is never considered an option as babysitter, but then something happens and the parents/guardians have no choice but to rely on them, and are super nervous about it, only when they come back home expecting the house on fire/torn up and their 3yearold cussing like a sailor, they find everything as absolutely perfect, their kids sleeping, house cleaned, dinner made, and the next day their kids will not stop blabbering about how much fun they had with uncle/aunt/auncle character and how they're their favorite now and the parents are sorta just like "Huh." in this pleasantly surprised manner.

Based off this post and @empressgeekt ‘s AU I decided to make my own mini comic! Mainly because I wanted to try figuring out how to work using colored pencils again. Had to play with the filters due to some lighting issues 😅

The first time it happened he was worried he’d get in trouble for teaching Keith to shoot arrows. Thankfully Dr. Moonbloom doesn’t care.

Second time was deja vu for him which made it a bit funny, Poppy on the other hand was panicking because Branch had only recently gotten better enough to fire arrows.

JD, Viva, and Keith are snorkeling while Poppy supervises Keith so Branch can take a turn swimming around. Bruce is with Floyd relaxing on the beach.

When Lance’s previously obsolete skills in language suddenly become very useful, he finds himself wondering why aliens can’t account for the fact that humans, particularly him, need sleep and would prefer linear timelines. (Or: an Arrival AU because I love that movie)

It's clear he cares for them, but he's never shown an intimate part of him. Until he has to.
