I’m convinced the Les Mis 25th anniversary concert was one long humiliation ritual for Nick Jonas. First they make him do a duet with Ramin Karimloo who basically drowns him out with the sheer power of his voice, than he has to sing in a trio with Katie Hall and Samantha Barks who sound like literally angels and honestly it’s unclear why they’re even supposed to be in love with him in the first place and then finally they bring out Micheal fucking Ball to show everyone how his parts should have sounded. I think I would have killed myself

This September 25, 2010 Les Miz London performance has JOJ (my favorite Valjean and arguably the best of all-time) and Earl Carpenter (my favorite Javert).

In addition to being an excellent video of the show, the YouTuber has included THE COMPLETE LYRICS (as subtitles). So if you are unsure of the full lyrics of The Confrontation, One Day More, etc., this will add to your enjoyment of the show!

I'm heartbroken not to be able to see the arena tour, but my Mum is as big a fan as I am and has sent me her notes. She also said Katie Hall Fantine was her stand out performance, and that she was pleasantly surprised by Empty Chairs at Empty Tables (she's a bit of a Marius hater normally 😭). And as always she was very moved by Alfie Boe - she saw him at the O2 in 2010 and has been a big fan ever since!

As requested by an anon, a clip from the Rooftop of Katie Hall and Simon Bailey. This is not a new pair, but this is the only recording of the two in the original show. This is from 2008 when Katie was the understudy in London. They would star alongside one another as principals in the Restaged UK Tour from 2012-13.
