Task Force X Suicide Squad Pokemon Teams
Here is my picks for the pokemon the members of the Suicide Squad would choose.
---
Amanda Waller
Malamar- An obvious pick because of her manipulative and malicious nature.
Mandibuzz- A pokemon associated with similar death and malice that Amanda is known for.
---
Rick Flag
Watchog- Rick often overwatches the missions of Task Force X
---
Harley Quinn
Mightyena- Harley owns a Hyena called Bud
Mightyena- Lou is the other Hyena that Harley owns
Gliscor- Since she's a part of the Batfamily now, her gliscor reflects that part of her. Her Gliscor would also have the hidden ability poison heal which reflects her history with Joker.
Roserade- A nod to her relationship with Ivy that also involves part of Harley's color scheme
Tinkaton- Harley's best known weapon is her giant mallet.
Mega Lopunny- This Lopunny has been through everything with Harley, including the Acid bath that bleach Harley's skin. This turned Harley's Lopunny into a meta pokemon that can mega evolve.
---
Captain Boomerang
Marowak- Boomerangs
Manetric- Electric Boomerang
Perrserker- Bladed Boomerang
Excaldrill- Razor Boomerang
Galarian Rapidash- the toy unicorn he has in the movie
---
Killer Croc
Mabosstiff- Killer Croc is a crime lord in Gotham City
Feraligatr- Killer Croc is based on the alligator of the sewer myth.
Krookodile- Crocodile (well, Gharial, but similar enough to a crocodile) thats also a crook.
Druddigon- Croc's skin condition gives him a rough exterior
---
King Shark
Quagsire- Many often see King Shark as dopey thanks to The Suicide Squad movie.
Cetitan- Another creature that once dwelled in the sea but can walk on land.
Mega Sharpedo- Great White Shark (Well, not really, but its shaped similarly)
Tapu Fini- He is a hawaiian demigod.
---
Peacemaker
Braviary- Its Eagly
Seismitoad- Activate Sonic Boom
Chandelure- A nod to how he can see the ghosts of people he's killed.
Scolipied- Scabbies for all (its a stretch i know)
Haxorus- Doesn't he use an ax in the movie?
Incineroar- Peacemaker is sort of a heel in terms of wrestling. He also doesn't care but secretly does like Incineroar.
Peacemaker's team consists of pokemon that come from Unova and Alola given that Peacemaker is a Captain America parody.
---
Deadshot
Intelleon- Deadshot is known for his espionage skills so handing him an Intelleon was an obvious choice.
Luxray- A perfect pokemon for Lawton's job, its x-ray eyes can see through anything
Sandaconda- Another type of gun-related pokemon.
---
Katana
Ceruledge- This is Katana. She's got my back. I would advice not getting killed by her. Her sword traps the souls of its victims.
Mega Lucario- A nod to her spiritual ties
---
Enchantress
Mismagius- She's a witch!
Spiritomb- An ancient artifact containing an evil spirit or just evil spirits.
Cofagrigus- Another archeological pokemon
---
Reverse Flash (Daniel West)
Orthworm- Daniel gained his abilities in a train accident.
Elektross- Daniel's Elektross is a meta pokemon. Its able to manipulate metal due to the accident which gave it a connection to the Speed Force.
---
El Diablo (Chato Santana)
Skeledirge- Spanish in origin
Salandit- A male salandit which ties into his criminal history and partly to how he killed his wife and children. Again, partly.
---
Deathstroke
Intelleon- He's a bounty hunter, so Intelleon was a good choice for him.
Talonflame- A nod to his connections with Robin/Nightwing
Hydrapple- A nod to the film title of Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons as well as his ability to regenerate as his Hydrapple has that ability
Olympian Aegislash- Deathstroke has been known to hold the Godkiller Sword, a weapon that is able to kill gods.
Gardevoir- This is taking a darker turn as this is in reference to Deathstroke's manipulative nature as he manipulated this Gardevoir to be loyal to him.
Kingambit- Deathstroke is not only an assassin like many samurai but he is also a leader.
I wanted to give Slade a very good team, and while I'm not an expert on pokemon teams, I think this is the best I could offer. Like Batman, Slade has other pokemon at his disposal that are also in nod to his other skills.
---
Bloodsport
Kryptonian Minior- A reference to him shooting Superman with a kryptonite bullet.
Klinklang- Bloodsport's armor in the movie The Suicide Squad is made up of nano-technology. To reflect this, his Klinklang is a meta pokemon made by Lex Luthor.
Shiftry- This is a stretch, but this is a reference to his time in Vietnam in the comics, as that was a part of his original origin.
---
A lot of these guys don't have full pokemon teams because A) I don't know enough about them and B) some don't seem like they would have full teams.

Suicide Squad x Black Dragon crossover would be interesting. Sure there’s Harley and Joker, ect and also peacemaker in mortal kombat 1 (if we are talking about The 2021 movie. I don’t know much about peacemaker though besides he’s got ass in game and in the movie.) but what about other characters like Deadshot, Boomerang, Katana and whoever else or just Suicide Squad vs Mortal Kombat
There’s also MK vs DCU but once again, What about like just the Suicide Squad or just MORE characters. MK vs DCU was like a 50/50 so maybe they could make a newer version or a remake. There’s also the timeline reset which I think would make it more interesting if it’s more-so MK1 vs Whoever.

Of Two Worlds (Book 3) Chapter Three
Fushiguro Megumi x Half-Curse! Reader
Chapter Three: Return
Summary: (Y/N) and Naoya get their rematch.
“I told you…I would kill you when I came back,” said the cursed spirit of Zenin Naoya.
(Y/N) hadn’t killed him with cursed energy, merely driven her daggers though his chest without a care. She had known full well that he might return as a curse, but (Y/N) didn’t care. In fact, knowing that he was the reason she had been ripped from her parents, (Y/N) rather liked the idea of getting to destroy him again.
(Y/N) pushed herself up against the wall behind her. The cracks and impacts of Naoya’s attack were clearly imprinted behind her. His abilities as a curse had heightened his skills as a human. But (Y/N) was unconcerned. Naoya was still a nothing to her.
(Y/N) faced Naoya coolly, her eyes ice-cold. “And I said I would end you again.”
“You killed me once, Halfling, but this time, I have the upper hand,” said Naoya gleefully. “I am a curse, powerful beyond the likes of a creature like you.”
“I’ve killed plenty of curses,” said (Y/N). They’d faced Ryo and Miku, the Death Painting and Curse of Storms. Both were much more intimidating than Naoya. “You will be no different.” She shifted into position, daggers in her hands.
Naoya finally saw her hands without gloves. The dark curse marks extending up her wrist were clear in the light. Naoya’s lip, if it could still be called that, curled in distaste. “Flaunting the hybrid abomination you are, how disgusting.”
“I am the one with humanity here,” remarked (Y/N). There was nothing akin to humanity in Naoya, if there had been any to begin with.
Naoya lunged in anger, but (Y/N)’s eyes followed his quick movements. She jumped and flipped up. Her eyes blazed silver as she watched him glare at her escape. She wanted this fight, wanted to destroy Naoya again and get the satisfaction of watching the man who took away her family die in the dirt once more. (Y/N)’s power thrummed to life with that desire.
Naoya slithered up at (Y/N), and she twisted midair. She felt the rush of air as he passed by, and her silver eyes tracked him warily.
            Lunar Cycle: Gibbus Moon.
(Y/N)’s daggers turned to her katana, and she struck down at Naoya. Blood spilled out into the air, dark and purple. (Y/N) landed on a roof and skidded to a stop, narrowing her eyes on Naoya.
The curse growled. “So…cursed spirits feel pain. I’ve exorcised so many, and they were all hurting, huh? I feel so sorry…” He grinned. “Not!”
He slammed down on (Y/N) again, and she dodged, holding up her arms to block as much of the rubble slicing through her arms as possible. Her wounds from Aurele and Aurelia ached as debris hit them once more.
Naoya turned, and (Y/N) braced for another razor-quick escape, but his body erupted into a mass of cursed energy. Her eyes widened, and she jumped back to another roof. Naoya had become Cursed Womb, changing into a more powerful curse form.
“Lunar Cycle: Crescent Moon, Full Moon!”
(Y/N) through her flaming boomerangs directly into the cursed womb. The icy fire and sharp blades cut through the expanding cursed womb in a single, powerful blow.
But it was already too late.
The womb broke open from her attack to reveal a condensed shell of a creature with a skull-like face, like a chrysalis. Sinewy flesh extended from four holes like demented limbs, and the skull cracked into a tortured grin.
“Are you ready, Halfling?! I’ve prepared so much just to kill you!” crowed a voice that had the barest hints of Naoya’s human tone.
Lunar Cycle: Gibbus Moon. (Y/N)’s sword reappeared, and her silver eyes watched Naoya carefully. “Then get started,” she challenged.
Naoya was clearly still angered by (Y/N)’s cold attitude, seeming so unprovoked by his attempts to insult her. He spent forward, limbs outstretched, and (Y/N) leapt to the side, slicing down at him. He easily dodged and sped back into the sky.
(Y/N)’s eyes narrowed. He’s picking up speed.
His next attack was going to be strong, and (Y/N) didn’t want to be on the receiving end. She froze and followed his movements. Her curse marks began to glow as she focused. Naoya was already faster than speed. This next attack could be deadly with just the speed element, never mind his strength. (Y/N) couldn’t afford to be caught off guard.
Naoya turned abruptly in the air, and (Y/N) knew he was making his move. He sped towards them, nearly unseeable as the air propelled him forward like a rocket. The streets and buildings were crushed by the wind pressure of his speed, and Naoya grinned wildly as he and his destruction approached the half-curse teenager.
(Y/N) took a deep breath, and as her chest rose and fell, everyone slowed into crisp definition before her silver eyes. She sliced downwards with her katana aflame with pure cursed energy and icy fire the moment before Naoya made impact, so perfectly timed in a manner that no human had a chance of emulating. Her curse marks glowed brightly, following the precise movement.
Purple blood splattered across the ground, and red blood joined it as (Y/N) was thrown back by Naoya’s attack. She hit the ground hard and felt blood seep from her previous wounds. But (Y/N)’s own blow had slowed the curse enough that (Y/N)’s half-curse body could take the attack.
She pulled herself to her feet and watched as Naoya curled through the buildings and trees, blood trailing him. He was angry. (Y/N) took a step forward and winced. Her side ached. But she wasn’t going down because of Naoya. No. He was going to be put down once and for all.
But Naoya hadn’t realized that just as before, he was outmatched. He remained an arrogant, angry fool. “Why won’t you just die?!” he cried, circling (Y/N) like a shark.
However, Naoya wasn’t the predator there; (Y/N) was.
“Something like you can’t kill someone like me,” said (Y/N) simply.
Naoya rushed her again, and (Y/N) dodged, moonlight trailing her as her curse marks blazed. Each time he attacked, the sharp wind trails cut at (Y/N), but she leapt gracefully from building to building as the crazed curse chased her. Just like before, Naoya could think only of killing and humiliating her, but (Y/N) remained in control.
(Y/N) spun through the air in an elegant arc, silver trailing her like moonlight, and Naoya glared.
“You are not the one who stands beside them!” Naoya was desperate and delirious with the desire to destroy (Y/N), to prove her insignificance and his own superiority.
But just as before, (Y/N) didn’t care about any of that. She twirled, and as Naoya attacked, the wave of fire left behind froze over him, burning with its incredible chill. Naoya was slowed as the friction increased against the air and his stone casing was broken to let blood spill out.
(Y/N) landed on top of a building as Naoya crashed across the roof, carving a trail through it. “I don’t need to stand beside anyone. I am (L/N) (Y/N), the Halfling. I stand in a category all my own.”
Naoya gritted his teeth as she looked down at him with a glint of condescension in her silver eyes. “How dare you look down on me!”
“I look down on those that make themselves beneath me.”
The response, monotone and matter-of-fact, enraged Naoya, and from within the shell, a human form burst forth. Naoya, in a form that clung to humanity, slammed his hands together with a wild look in his eyes.
“Domain Expansion: Time Cell Moon Palace!”
Darkness rushed out and enveloped (Y/N). She stood on a strange platform while Naoya’s half-curse, half-human form (ironic) floated before her. Rolls of film, solid and sharp, rushed out at her, rushing into her limbs.
(Y/N) took a step to dodge, and instantly, blood splattered from a new injury. Her eyes narrowed, and Naoya gleefully looked down at her.
“Anyone I touch has to move like me or they freeze up for one second,” he said. “In this domain, it seems the technique’s target is even more precise. It can ever target individual cells. If you try to move…” Naoya smirked. “Well, they might get out of whack. And then that happens.”
            “I bleed,” said (Y/N) matter-of-factly.
Naoya grinned. “Yes! And I can torture you to death as I please, show you how beneath me you really are, Halfling! Watch as the night swallows you whole!”
(Y/N)’s lip quirked upwards, and Naoya’s face fell. That was more of an expression than he had seen yet on her. And it was a smirk. A goddammed condescending smirk.
“The night?” remarked (Y/N). “I think that’s more of my domain.”
(Y/N) lifted her arms and ignored the cuts that sliced through her. She formed two circles with her thumb and pointer finger. Placing one in front of the other, she looked steadily at Naoya.
            “Domain Expansion.”
Naoya’s eyes widened. She wasn’t seriously trying to break his Domain with her, was she? She was his junior by over a decade and a half-curse to boot, a hybrid that should be below him.
That ‘should’ would be his downfall yet again.
            “Solar Eclipse.”
Even in the darkness of Naoya’s domain, a deep blackness spread out from (Y/N)’s feet. It overtook Naoya’s domain even as he scrambled to keep his own up. But his pitiful Time Cell Moon Palace was nothing to the true master of the moon, and (Y/N)’s Solar Eclipse broke his domain apart. The sun of her domain struggled to shine behind the silhouette of the moon obscuring it from view.
Unlike the fight with Miku, her domain was much solider this time. It had a strange tangibility, like floating in space or water. Stars glowing faintly in the outreaches of (Y/N)’s domain, and she stood above Naoya. A faintly solid surface rested behind near, like a throne inviting her to sit, but (Y/N) just stared down at Naoya.
His eyes widened as he stared at her in shock.
(Y/N)’s smirk widened, and a silver shimmer appeared around her forehead, a faint whisp of something as her domain solidified and strengthened.
“I told you that I would kill you again,” said (Y/N). “And I’m no liar.”
She raised a hand, and Naoya, the fastest curse and human alive, was frozen in time as he saw something inhuman staring down at him. She threw her hand down again, and sterling slashes erupted across Naoya’s body.
His blood splattered across the domain, and the cursed spirit of Zenin Naoya fell to pieces, dead a second time over. He would not return again.
“You have won five points,” announced her Kogane.
(Y/N) coughed as her domain dispersed into the air. She fell to her knees as her injuries caught up to her. She groaned and held her side as it bled from the many wounds she had been dealt in her past two fights.
            “(Y/N)? (Y/N)!”
(Y/N) looked up, silver eyes bright, and let out a breath of relief. “Megumi!”
She tried to stand and move to him, but she collapsed. Megumi caught her and looked between her and the body of Naoya. He pushed aside his confusion to instead focus on (Y/N).
“You’re hurt,” he said worriedly. He cursed himself vehemently for not being there. Once again, he hadn’t protected (Y/N).
“I’m okay,” said (Y/N), sucking in a breath.
Megumi gazed at her, and his eyes passed over her glowing eyes and curse marks. Instead of being confused, he felt something akin to pride. (Y/N) was growing stronger, and Megumi was glad, happy for her and her power. (Y/N) was a sorcerer who deserved it, and Megumi wanted her to have the strength to protect herself and stay alive in the world of jujutsu.
“No, you’re not,” he said, supporting her.
“I…I can handle it,” said (Y/N), silver gaze faraway. She felt like she understood something. Just like as her power heightened with her curse marks appearing, more parts of her were changing, growing.
She lifted a hand to her side and took a deep breath. As she breathed out, cursed energy appeared around her palm. Suddenly, its nature switched, reversing. (Y/N)’s wounds closed as she breathed in-and-out. She had used a reverse-cursed technique.
Whatever (Y/N) was unlocking within herself couldn’t be contained. Her powers were still growing.
“How…?” Megumi gazed at her in surprise.
(Y/N) stared at her palm, and the shine of her eyes and curse marks faded. “I…I don’t know. I just knew.” Her jaw tightened ever-so-slightly, showing her confusion. “I just know sometimes.” She looked to Megumi. “Is that…curse-like?” Is that monstrous?
Megumi gripped her hand tightly, fighting not to flush as he felt her bare skin, no gloves. It felt intimate after she kept her marks covered for so long. “No. No. You’re still you. You’re not a monster. Got it?”
He knew what (Y/N) was thinking after all the “lessons” the elders and crueler members of jujutsu society had taught her. He remembered how much those who never met her called her a monster, an abomination that shouldn’t exist. Halfling.
            (Y/N) nodded shortly.
“Good.” Megumi turned to look at Naoya’s body. “I’m just glad you’re alright, and you handled that curse.”
            (Y/N) took Megumi’s hand. “Megumi.”
            He glanced at her. “Yeah?”
            “That’s Zenin Naoya,” said (Y/N).
“That’s a curse,” said Megumi, slightly confused.
“Yes.” (Y/N)’s eyes met Megumi’s. “I killed him when he was a human, and I exorcised him as a curse.”
Megumi was silent, and (Y/N) waited for his expression to change to one of disgust, disappointment, and horror. “He tried to kill you.”
            (Y/N) blinked. “Yes.”
            “And then you killed him?”
            “Yes.”
            “Good.”
Megumi was completely honest. (Y/N) was more important than Zenin Naoya, than anyone else. If she had to kill someone to stay alive, to get back to him, then he didn’t care. Megumi knew that he’d kill for the girl he loved, too. If he’d been the one to face Naoya and known he wanted to hurt (Y/N), there would have been no mercy from him.
(Y/N) blinked again, clearly offput by the response. She hadn’t expected that at all.
Megumi squeezed her hand. “We said we’d always come back to each other.” Any price was worth it.
A small smile appeared on (Y/N)’s face. She squeezed Megumi’s hand back. “Right.”
            Any price.

So I was Thinking About a Megaman X (Hitoshi Ariga style Series) But Here's the Catch
As you May know I was Thinking About a Megaman X (Hitoshi Ariga style Series),I'm not a Huge Fan of the Mega Man X manga version done by Iwamoto either
But here's the Catch,Some of the Mavericks will be Saved and Spared by X and Maverick hunters while The Rest will ACTUALLY be Destroyed and Resurrected by Sigma and Became his Lackeys
However this will be Split up to parts
So part 1:
X1:(Saved) Chill Penguin(His Backstory is a Tad bit different,He's Still Spiteful of What Flame Mammoth bullied him and his Unit,However after Flame Mammoth was Resurrected by Sigma and Became his Lackey,His Hatred of Flame Mammoth Grew from Hatred to Loathe,Despite this,He Really Good Friends with Storm Eagle and Marth),Storm Eagle (His Backstory is Still the same,But his Girlfriend Teal is going to get Spared),Armored Armadillo (Learns the Difference between True Loyalty and Blind Loyalty, he uses his katana sword,I think it will be pretty cool For a Maverick to have a bladed weapon,He uses it when things get REALLY out of Hand in Combats),Boomerang Kuwanger (Gave him the Knuckles treatment (Well Sort of),Boomerang Kuwanger was Tricked by Sigma into joining his Rebellion,However After Realizing of What ACTUALLY meant,He hit his head to know he's been Bamboozled)
X1(Destroyed and Resurrected by Sigma):Flame Mammoth (Backstory unchanged),Launch Octopus(His personality was Similar to Maverick hunter X),Sting Chameleon (His Backstory was a Lot Different,He loses his Best friends on 9th Special Unit (Ranger Unit) due to Incident,Leading him to become Crazy and Bothersome when he joined Sigma)
However as for Spark Mandrill,It's Undecided

Let's Talk About... Suicide Squad (2016) | Movie Review
The hit 2016 supervillain film Suicide Squad is a point of contention in DC fan circles. Some loved it for what it was—a Hollywood semi-drama action film centered around the character dynamics of some of DC’s most interesting villains—and some railed against it for what it wasn’t—a deep, thought-provoking action piece that challenges worldviews and character legacies. Some, also, did both—love it for what it is and mourn for what it could’ve been.
So, Let’s Talk About Suicide Squad.
The Summary
Not to be confused with the more recent The Suicide Squad, which is this film’s hit sequel, Suicide Squad is an action-packed, comedic supervillain movie—and the “supervillain” is quite serious. In the whole movie, the only superhero that gets more than a few minutes of screentime is Katana, and all things considered, she plays a fairly small part in the movie.
The film takes place sometime after Superman is killed and buried, circa 2016 in the DC Extended Universe. Several of the universe’s worst villains are off the street, caught by heroes, including Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Slipknot, Captain Boomerang, and El Diablo—The Enchantress, an ancient interdimensional entity, is also in custody. Amanda Waller, a government agent, arranges them into an elite task force, Task Force X, headed by Colonel Rick Flag. They’re to be an underground unit, known only to those who need to. Waller also keeps the Enchantress’s heart in a box—literally—as an insurance policy, and her trapped brother on a shelf.
When the Enchantress escapes Nick Flag’s sight and frees her brother, it sets off a chain of events for Task Force X’s first mission: work together under Flag and the superhero Katana’s leadership, and deliver their objective, “the only person in [the] city” they aren’t allowed to kill, to safety.
The villains, sans Enchantress, who has all but escaped Waller’s control with the help of her brother, set out to New York City, miniature bombs set in their necks to blow whenever the agents deem needed. As Deadshot says, “[Flag] dies, WE die!”
Their helicopter is gunned down suddenly, crashing them all in the disaster zone of NYC. The villains plot to overtake the unit at large, despite the danger looming at their Colonel’s fingertips and beneath their skulls. Slipknot and Captain Boomerang attempt to escape outright—Slipknot nearly succeeds but his bomb is triggered and he is killed. It’s a fast-paced, brutal scene that hammers into both the audience’s mind and the villains’ how serious their situation is—Waller and Flag own them now.
Meanwhile, the Enchantress and her brother are taking captured humans and turning them into stone-creature minions—think the Stonemen from Game of Thrones mixed with the alien army from the first Avengers movie, and you have the general appearance, mannerisms, et cetera.
Flag and the villains continue to their objective location, Harley causing no small amount of trouble along the way. She smashes in a storefront window to steal a purse, answering Flag’s protest with “We’re bad guys—it’s what we do.” Deadshot, missing his young daughter, who is an under-utilized factor in his motivation, stares longingly at a set of mannequins in winter wear: a father and daughter set up, mirroring the night he was captured by Batman in front of her.
The halfway point of the film finds our villainous heroes just outside their objective—Deadshot rushes in, leading the (slow) charge toward their mission’s end. It’s too quiet, even the soundtrack taking the backseat to the rustle of their clothes and gear. It’s incredibly effective at setting up the punchline for the scene: an elevator’s ding and Harley, illuminated in white light inside, rising above them all (literally), the soundtrack coming to life with a high-energy R&B beat.
After a quick, Harley-centric fight scene, they’re all reconvened and moving forward again. They walk into an ambush—a bunch of minions are waiting in the shadows, nooks and ceiling of an office room (full of cubicles) and the scene explodes, literally, with gunfire and stone chips from the minions. Through it all, El Diablo is inactive, standing to the side and quiet. When they escape the office room to the hallways, Deadshot provokes him into firing (literally) at the opposing group of minions. His glare afterward could scare anyone, and Deadshot’s nervous assurances of no ill-will make it clear that the Man Who Never Misses is no exception. Harley is enthused.
Walking up the stairs to their objective, Harley looks down the spiraling staircases—she flashes back to when she was still Harleen, Joker’s rogue psychiatrist. They were in the ACE Chemicals factory where Joker once fell into the vats below. He now wants her to take a leap of faith—one he only just makes worth it for her. Kehlanie’s Gangsta begins in the background; it’s their wedding, essentially, and Harley takes the leap. Joker, after deliberating, follows.
They make it up to their objective—Flag goes into the safe room; Waller is there, their objective to take home. Waller kills every single one of the agents in the safe room, saying they weren’t “cleared for any it.” The villains, rightfully pissed at being all but collared like dogs, threaten her and Flag—she backs them down with a worse threat: killing all of them thanks to the little bombs in them.
A helicopter is meant to meant them on the roof. No one can make contact with the piloting team. It’s been jacked by none other than Joker, and everyone opens fire. Harley is thrilled. Joker’s in a fancy tux, waiting for her on the bird. He’s kidnapped a scientist that worked on the bombs, and the “professor” disables Harley’s nanite. She runs to Joker, Flag and Waller trying desperately to trigger her bomb.
Waller goes so far as to “commission” Deadshot to kill Harley—his freedom, his daughter, for Harley’s life. He almost takes it, “missing” the shot at the last second. His eyes are glassy. It’s an amazing bit of emotional acting on Will Smith’s part. Waller calls a hit on the hijacked chopper anyway. It hits.
Harley falls from the crashing plane to a rooftop, watching in agony as the plane crashes with her beloved still inside—she thinks he’s dead, and the Task Force X team think she is, too.
They get Waller on a helicopter out of NYC—it’s crashed by the Enchantress’s brother, and she’s captured, the sole survivor of the crash.
Harley, desolate, waits down on the street for the others, playing up her bubbly persona to dissuade hostility from them. She’s thrown away her “Puddin’” choker. It’s awkward but the villains have empathy for her—they get it, and they don’t say anything. They don’t need to.
With Waller in her clutches, the Enchantress begins the final stage of her plan: gather intel on human armies and defenses to destroy the human race and everything we love.
Deadshot finds a binder of classified documents in Waller’s crashed bird. It’s all of her Task Force X information. He demands Flag tell the team everything. He does. The villains are rightfully pissed, as is Katana, and they go into a bar and they have drinks.
El Diablo gives his tragic backstory. A gangster with a soft spot—he had a wife and kids he loved, but his anger was too great when she found out his gang dealings and his power too strong. He lost control and burned the whole family out. He turned himself in. In hindsight, it’s more than a little stereotypical: Hispanic man gets mixed up gangs, rises to power, becomes violent toward his wife when she finds out and tries to get the kids away from it all. He kills them.
Flag eventually joins in the “revelry,” much to Harley’s distaste. He comes clean about his attachment to Dr. June Moone, the Enchantress’s host, and Flag smashes the command panel for their nanites. Then, he gives Deadshot the letters his daughter’s been writing him since he got to jail. It pushes Deadshot over the edge—he agrees to go with Flag to “end this shit” and demands that everyone, his daughter especially, knows what they, the villains, did, what they saved the world from and why.
With nothing better to do, and some goading from Harley, the others follow.
It’s a real build-up action sequence: our great heroes walking toward almost certain doom, epic music pounding behind them. They come up with a plan: get and blow the bomb Flag left under the subway station the first time he tried to take down the Enchantress’s brother.
Killer Croc takes the sewers; everyone else goes through the subway. Diablo is on the fence about fighting with them.
Enchantress, sensing them all inside, floats imaginary futures into their heads: Deadshot, killing Batman; Harley with babies and the Joker as her husband; Flag cuddled in bed with June; Diablo with his kids and wife, safe, lovey—
The vision sets off Diablo. He’s pissed and hurting. Enchantress can’t change what he did, and she can’t take away his people.
Croc and the underground unit are almost the bomb, and Diablo opts in to bully the brother into the right corner. He can regenerate but Diablo can shift into a larger, more durable form—it’s close, but the brother pins him. Flag calls for the bomb to be triggered, per Diablo’s command—the brother is killed, as is Diablo. Still, the Enchantress is ready.
She triggers her spell, using information from Waller’s hijacked mind to attack key satellites and locations. She engages the Task Force directly, phasing in and out of her physical form as needed to surge against them. She’s strong, and they aren’t stronger. An epic score sings in the background; gunfire explodes and contrasts her flighty embers.
She’s impressed—she offers “mercy.” Anything they want, for total servitude. Harley, the wonderful actress that she is, amps up her ditzy, lovestruck persona to get close to her, and then slink—
Drives Katana’s blade through the Enchantress’s chest, quickly tearing out her heart.
The scene that follows is almost impressive—it begins with Flag passing off another bomb to Killer Croc, then the cinematography slows. Harley tosses her gun to Deadshot; Croc levies the bomb at the whirling spell and the witch standing before it; Deadshot takes aim. The climax of the scene has his daughter, another vision, standing before him, begging him not to pull the trigger, a mirror of when he was caught by Batman—he screams, enraged, and fires. Enchantress reaches for the bomb at the same moment the bullet hits it, blowing the spell and launching her into the stairs beneath.
It’s a longer, more drawn-out sequence than it needs to be, and the slow-motion doesn’t add much. It’s interesting on a first watch, sure, but after that, it’s really not impressive. The shot being slowed down as Deadshot fires lends to the impressive willpower it took him to break the Enchantress’s temptation, but the sequence being slowed prior to that just gives it the impression that this was an easy decision for him, putting it in contrast to the one previous where he faked a miss on Harley. Ironically, once the vision begins, the action feels rushed.
Rick tries to reason with the Enchantress for June’s control back. She insists he just crush her heart and get it over with, basically, and he almost walks away. However, Deadshot calls him back, noticing how the “corpse” begins to move—June swipes away the face of the Enchantress. June and Flag have a heart-felt reconnection, while the villains attempt to wander off in various directions.
Waller quickly bursts their bubble, “cocking” the trigger for their nanites. She reminds them, promptly, that she still owns, and dogs don’t get freedom for tricks—they get treats: 10 years off their prison sentences. They settle for some luxuries—Deadshot gets visitation for his daughter; Croc gets a TV with his favorite music channel; Captain Boomerang gets jackshit for his attitude toward Waller; and Harley gets an espresso machine and…
The Joker! He breaks into Belle Reve and busts her out at the very end of the movie.
There is a hidden scene after the main credits that ties into the larger Batman plots of this universe, and the sequel, but I won’t get into that here. That will be a discussion for my longer video format review, which you’ll be able to find on my YouTube in about two weeks, and Early Access for my Patrons next Thursday (Oct. 17th).
What It Was
By far not the best DC movie I’ve ever watched, even in hindsight—that said, it’s far from the worst. It’s a great mish-mash of characters, and it’s fun. The characters get wacky, and they clash in just the right way; Flag is a great straight man to contrast Harley’s antics, and Deadshot is a great in-between with his sarcastic humor. The acting is honestly fantastic all the way around, except, maybe for one character…
The Joker is a very malleable character, but the way that Jared Leto’s interpretation of the Joker comes off in the movie is a bit too intent on Harley. I don’t think it’s so much a failure on Leto’s part as an actor, though much can be said about him and his… interesting career moves since this project, but it is definitely a writing and cinematography flaw that he pays for. With the clearly abusive and manipulative circumstances of the Joker and Harley’s relationship (and don’t come for me, I love my toxic straight people as much as the next supervillain fan), the devotion and love-sick depression J is shown to have just don’t mesh well in the regular cut. There is a bit more expansion and nuance given in the extended cut, but that’s a conversation for a longer review.
Over all, it’s a good movie. It’s certainly worth the watch if you enjoy a Guardian’s of the Galaxy style movie mixed with DC’s more gritty backdrop. There’s a lot of depth to the emotion of the movie, but most of the characters fall flat in comparison to the main few, those being Harley, Waller, Flag, and Deadshot. Even Katana and Diablo, who are given pretty fleshed out backstories and Diablo is even incredibly important to the plot, are pretty flat in comparison. Diablo, for his part, really just isn’t given enough attention. He doesn’t get enough screentime just dedicated to him, even though he’s one of the only characters with a backstory. It’s really the Harley and Deadshot movie with Waller and Flag guiding them along.
It’s impressive how it handles some of the characters’ emotional drives. Harley is given a lot of depth with her choosing her team over Joker, but there’s also ample energy given toward her dedication to him as a catalyst for her arc—her running out on the rooftop, all of her texts with him, and her backstory ultimately driving her into this situation in the first place. Deadshot, likewise, is given a lot of depth—his little girl is the driving force of his choices. I’m sure if it was just him on the line, he would’ve gone against Waller and Flag at the first provocation, but he has a kid to get back to and he’ll be damned if he doesn’t at least try. That said, it isn’t enough to pit him against the people on his team—that’s the whole reason he fakes out his miss on Harley.
What It Wasn’t
All that said, this isn’t a fantastic movie. It’s fun, it’s good, but it isn’t phenomenal. It certainly misses the mark on a lot of things, and one of those is the pacing and character development. I’ll get more into characters in my extended video review, but taking just Flag, who’s one of the more fleshed out characters other than Deadshot and Harley, there’s a lot of issues with consistency and interpersonal relationships.
The midpoint, where Waller has been collected in NYC, after she’s shot all the FBI agents in front of Flag, he just shrugs it off and soldiers on, like those were a bunch of the Enchantress’s minions. But he spends 75% of the movie railing on the villains, Deadshot especially, for being cowardly, immoral, and murderers. He shrugs it off as ugly necessity, like it’s literal shit on his heel and not people who probably had families. It’s a sudden, jarring introduction to a really hardened, jaded, just bootlicking version of Flag that we don’t really see outside of this scene. There’s a few points, sure, where he takes the hard choice for June’s sake, and for June’s comfort, but he doesn’t do anything at all like that, or pass off anything like that, before that or after. Frankly, it’s sloppy.
It wasn’t the best supervillain movie as far as cinematography or action sequences goes—that actually goes to its sequel The Suicide Squad, which I’ll probably review November or December. There was a lot of potential set up early in the movie for the action sequences, like the use of those toxic, neon colors and the glitchy filter on some of the flashbacks, but they’re set aside in favor of more established techniques, like slow-motion. It doesn’t hurt the film much, but it is disappointing in hindsight. It’s still pretty impressive—the character introductions are insanely fun, especially the “card” screens, and so are the flashbacks. There’s a lot more texture to the cinematography that I’ll discuss in my extended video review, but largely, there’s just a lot of missed potential.
More-over, it wasn’t an emotional masterpiece. Again, there’s a lot of depth in the emotion and the weight of the plot on the main few characters, but overall, there’s a big balance issue with how the emotional texture is divided up between the cast. Katana, Boomerang, Croc, and even Diablo to a large extent, aren’t given much emotional texture, if any at all—for Slipknot, this really isn’t an issue; he’s in the movie for all of ten minutes before he gets his head blown off, so. But this film has a lot of really interesting characters that aren’t utilized being their fighting skills, and it starts to take away from the tone by the time Waller has been retrieved.
Conclusion
Suicide Squad is cool. It’s fun, and it’s goofy and it doesn’t take itself too seriously despite the gritty setting and more intense subject matter it delves into. It touches on trauma, on grief, and on the complexities of humanity but it never really digs at that stuff. It’s great fodder for thought and contemplation, but it does leave the viewer wanting sometimes. Some characters are under-utilized; some suffer because of their legacy; and some are just there to support the more flashy folks.
Some love it, some hate it, but I’d say it’s worth the evening to find out where you land, and definitely worth it to check out The Suicide Squad, which fixed a lot of the issues of this first film.

Sweet Puddin' (Harley Quinn x The Joker)
Tumblr media
Jamal Gripperton's Masterlist
A/N (if you haven't already read it go read it now then come back)
A/N - HAPPY KINKTOBER ONCE AGAIN PPLS! (we got lots of kinky stuff going on in this one). This fic contains spoilers for the Suicide Squad movie so if you haven't watched it yet and you want to, this is your sign to click off.
P.S -I have never read the comics or seen any other movie besides suicide squad and know nothing about the dc universe so this might not be that accurate or whatever, just a small heads up. Google also told me that The Joker's name is Jack Napier, so we're going with that.
(This chapter is dedicated to our second ever commenter, but the first on  Wattpad, ow10306010. Maybe you'd read this on another bus trip someday, who knows?)
•••
Reading a book and sipping espresso was Harley Quinn, who was in her cell, which now had a bed. After defeating the Enchantress and the Enchantress 'brother with the 'Suicide Squad' aka Deadshot, herself, Katana, Killer Croc, El Diablo, Captain Boomerang and Colonel Rick Flag. The air in her cell was the same as before she'd gone with the others to "save the world" at the risk of their lives, under Amanda's command. Cold, stale and funky smelling. It was still deathly quiet as before, only the occasional whirring of her espresso machine tore through the deafening silence of her solitude.
So yeah, I guess you could say that her life was better than a couple months prior. There was at least something else to do except hang off the tattered cloth that was tied to the upper bars of her cell, or when that was taken away, mope around on the floor. It was lonely, hell, it always was. Doesn't seem like that would change either considering she witnessed the helicopter her Puddin' was in blow up.
She was completely alone now, with no one that would care enough about her to have a single thought of her that wasn't negative after The Joker had passed. Flipping through the pages of her book as she read to take her mind off the loneliness she had and drinking a lot of espresso were her only ways to escape the burning in her heart.
Said burning was connected to the ticking time bomb, that once the whole thought of being lonely for the rest of her life and probably not ever escaping the literal and figurative prison she was in, would detonate on her already corrupted mind, thoughts and being. Erasing every one of the few faded memories she had left.
Just like what she did to The Joker.
-
"I did everything you said, I helped you!" Harleen spoke out breathlessly.
"Ah... you... helped me... by erasing my mind, what few. Faded. Memories I had?"
"No, you left me in a black hole of rage and confusion" The words fell off his tongue, laced in venom, spite and rage.
"Is that the medicine you practice? Doctor Quinzell?"
"What are you gonna do, you gonna kill me Mr. J?" Harleen had tried to hide her fear but failed as her tone and eyes gave her away.
"Oh, I'm not gonna kill ya, I'm just gonna hurt ya, really, really bad."
"You think so? Well, I can take it"
The Joker snapped the brown belt in his hands and placed it between her teeth.
"I wouldn't want you to break those perfect, porcelain capped teeth, when the juice... hits your brain." He whispered the last part and gripped the mysterious items in his hands.
Then, he pressed them to her temples.
-
The memory made the bile at the back of her throat even more sour as she pushed the thoughts back and tried to put her mind back to her book but unfortunately, failed to do so as more and more memories came rushing to her at full speed.
-
Nine huge, bubbling tubs of Ace Chemicals sat far below the platform Harleen and The Joker were stood on. Harleen stared at the tubs blankly as The Joker stood a few feet behind her. Smoke or steam, she couldn't tell, floated above the tubs, small lights encircled them as well.
"Question..." The Joker's voice spoke out from behind her. He never failed to make her weak, no matter how little or how much he did.
"Would you die... for me?" He walked a few steps closer to her, so did Harleen.
"Yes" Harleen replied almost immediately.
"That's too easy..." The joker paused to think for a second.
"Would you... Would you live for me?"
"Hmm?" He spoke again once she didn't reply for a few seconds.
"Yes"
"Careful, do not say this oath, thoughtlessly."
"Desire becomes surrender, surrender becomes power." The Joker continued in a hushed, whisper like tone.
"You want this?"
"I do" Harleen replied.
"Say it, say it, say it, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty..." He whispered.
"Please?" Harleen's tone was on the brink of begging.
"Oh God, you're so... good."
The Joker took a few steps back and Harleen's back was facing where the tubs were. She leaned back and begun falling, falling into the tub of bleach whit chemicals and to her probable demise. He stared over the edge after Harleen fell into the tub.
While walking over to the door, he paused, letting out a frustrated sound, he turned around and took off his jacket, walking over to the edge of the platform again and jumped off, into the tub. He pulled Harleen's body up to the surface and connected their lips in a searing kiss.
As he pulled away, Harleen gasped for air and The Joker started laughing maniacally.
-
Harley shook her head, as if clearing her head of all the other memories of him. Suddenly, the wall behind her had blown up and multiple armed people speedily walked in, shooting every guard in sight. After successfully breaking into her cell, a masked man walked towards her, Harley stood up from her bed and blandly stared at him as he took off his mask. Underneath the mask was The Joker.
"Puddin'!" Harley wrapped her arms around him joyfully.
Although she was confused how he was here and how he wasn't dead, when she watched him be blown up. Excitement still flooded her, he was here. Here in her arms, next to her. Living and breathing. Harley couldn't believe it.
"Let's go home" He drawled out.
The Joker scooped her up into his and carried her back to his car, placing her body onto the seat. Pressing his foot on the gas, the car's engine roared beneath them. As the pair speedily cruised through the pretty empty streets, The Joker grew more and more impatient, moving one of his hands to Harley's thigh, groping and kneading it as he drove.
The hunger that had bubbled through him the entire time the two had been separated festered in him, bubbling up like boiling soup on the stove. He couldn't just wait 'till he got home to pounce, but he had to. Pressing his foot even harder against the gas, a race against the clock until the insatiable hunger in him bubbled over, leaking all the emotions he'd been holding until he had Harley back in his arms.
God, he missed her. He could barely keep the already destructed little shards and pieces of his sanity together as he worked relentlessly to get her back in his arms. He missed her body, the amount of control he had on her and how he had her wrapped around his pinky finger. If he could, he would pull over right now and fuck her into an oblivion until she's a crying, squirming, overstimulated mess.
However, The Joker didn't want to just pull over and fuck her senseless on the side of the road in the confined space of his car. He wanted it to be in the comfort of his own home, behind closed doors and against a large, comfortable mattress in the plush, soft sheets of his bed. So, he pushed his desire for her away and continued driving.
Soon, the sun had gone and welcomed the cold embrace of the moon and night. The streetlights -which were now on- cast a warm glow below them, lighting up the roads and sidewalks.
After what had seemed like decades, they arrived at The Joker's house which was -obviously- much bigger than a normal house, a mansion if you will. He hastily parked the car and led her back to his room. Sinful thoughts flooded his mind even more every step they took closer to the comfortable, solitary confines of his room, Harley seemed to be thinking about things similar to what he was, judging by the rose tint that spread across her face and the sudden silence of her sly comments and small giggles.
Opening the door to The Joker's bedroom, Harley was pinned against the wall as The Joker's lips were smothered and slotted between her own. Teeth clashing and tongues sliding against each other, the lewd sounds of their lips meeting filled the room along with the occasional moan or groan. The kisses were full of desperation and lust, his hands were also full of desperation and lust as they aimlessly roamed Harley's body, groping the soft, fleshy skin.
"Take off those clothes, doll" Jack spoke slightly breathlessly after he pulled away from the kiss.
A grin grew on Harley's face as she peeled off her clothes while maintaining eye contact with him. Jack sat on the bed, hungry eyes devouring the sight before him as the tent in is pants grew larger. Slowly taking off the last of her clothes and tossing the garments somewhere, Harley innocently batted her lashes at him, her lip caught between her teeth.
"Come to daddy" Jack slurred as he took off his shirt.
Harley giggled at his words as she walked up to him. Jack motioned for her to get down on her knees, so she did. She looked up at him through her lashes, patiently waiting for him to say something.
"Show me how much you missed me" He whispered in a seductive tone.
After hearing those words fall from his lips, she began to unbuckle his belt and push his pants down. Beads of precum leaked out of his rosy tip, taking it into her mouth and paying special attention to the slit. Jack groaned at the feeling, tilting his head back as he'd remember the euphoric feeling of her lips wrapped around him.
Bobbing her head up and down, her saliva dripping down his length and pooling at the base. Harley gagged slightly once the tip deliciously hit the back of her throat. Groans slipped off Jack's lips as pleasure engulfed him like a warm blanket of ecstasy. He continued pushing her head down and fucking her throat as lewd sounds floated around the room. As Harley continued is cock twitched in the warm cavity of her mouth, just before shooting hot, sticky sperm down her throat.
"Go on, swallow it all" Jack growled, hazy eyes watching her as she did so.
A smirk grew on his face as he lifted her up and placed her on the bed, her back against the plush material. Slowly, he spread her legs apart and inched his face closer to her throbbing, dripping core. Harley let out a shaky breath as her eyes followed his, practically drowning in anticipation of what he was going to do.
Harley softly gasped at the sensation of Jack shamelessly spitting on her sex, her arousal mixing with his saliva. Still maintaining eye contact, he dragged his now flattened tongue from her weeping hole up to her throbbing clit, swirling his tongue around the sensitive bud. Her thighs twitched slightly at the feeling, soft whimpers escaping her throat as he sucked her clit.
As Harley's hips rolled and thighs twitched in pleasure as Jack tongue fucked her tight hole, he wrapped his arms around her thighs, forcing them apart and still as he worked his mouth quicker. Drawing out more moans and whimpers from Harley's soft, plump and swollen lips. (the ones on her face ya dirty dawg) Jack slurped, sucked and licked at her fluid leaking cunt, making her hips buck and her fingers grasping at the messy strands of his hair, tugging and pulling at them. As Jack continued eating her out, Harley un-knowingly tried to push his head away from her aching core, too engulfed in her pleasure to notice that she was.
"If you want me to eat you out 'till you cum then don't try to push me away" Jack mumbled against her pussy lips before delving right back in, tongue and all.
The more he worked her pussy, the closer she got. It was pure ecstasy, her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she clenched around his tongue, a symphony of moans and chanting of his name as if he was a god that was about to condemn her to the fiery pits of hell.
Jack groaned as her cum painted his tongue, his taste buds practically exploding from the taste, making sure to slurp up every drop of her delicious nectar. Pulling away from her wet core, her slick covered his lips and dripped down his chin. Jack then connected their lips together in a slow and sensual kiss, their tongues sliding and lips connecting and disconnecting. Harley pulled away and chuckled softly at the look in his eyes.
"Get on your hands and knees baby, you know how. Face down, ass up" Jack growled out with a grin on his face.
Harley did exactly as he said, her hands gripped the cozy sheets that lay beneath her, the same sheets that would soon be covered in bodily fluids. Jack grabbed his length, rubbing the tip against her increasingly wet folds before slamming all of it into her tight, warm hole which made her loudly moan. Placing his hands on her hips, Jack started thrusting his cock in and out her pussy. The lewd sounds of skin meeting, moans and the wet, squelching sounds of his dick pumping against her hole of fat and human flesh filled each and every corner and crevice of the room.
"Fuck yeah, take my cock like the slut you are" Jack groaned as he continued jack-hammering his appendage into her fleshy cunt.
Resting her cheek against the plush mattress, Harley moaned in response, unable to form words with the pleasure that surged through her. The ecstasy was almost blinding, more moans slid off her puffy lips as his tip brushed her cervix. Jack slowed down slightly and pulled out a small, sharp blade then dragged it across her soft, pale skin. The dark, crimson fluid leaking out the wound, a stark contrast to her porcelain skin. Harley whined at the sensation, pain and pleasure that molded and mixed together which felt strangely euphoric.
He continued to glide the blade across her prior unbroken skin, Harley's blood painted her back like an artistic mosaic painted by the hands of God himself. Licking up the crimson that flowed out of the fresh wounds, Jack groaned at the delectable taste, his thrusts speeding up as he chased his release. Sounds of pleasure erupted from her, moving her hips back as he thrusted into her.
"Uh huh, just like that, back up onto my cock" Jack growled into her ear, sending tingles down Harley's spine.
A soft giggle came from Harley, which quickly changed into a moan as he wrapped his hand around her neck. Still plunging his dick into her arousal-dripping hole, Jack sucked, licked and nibbled at the supple, sensitive flesh. Speeding up his thrusts, more moans, groans and whimpers came from the pair as they both inched closer to their release. More thrusts that deliciously hit her g-spot, choking, praises and sounds of pleasure later, the pair got closer and closer to their sweet release.
"That's right, cum all over my cock baby, all over it" Jack moaned out, his tip kissing her cervix.
Harley's pussy spasmed, fluttered and twitched around his cock, her moans growing louder as he sped up even more. His cock mouthwateringly filled her up as tears of pleasure rolled down her hot, red cheeks.
"Mhm, milk my fucking cock" Jack moaned as his hands gripped her hips like a vice.
He thrust his hips forward a few more times before emptying his load deep inside her. Euphoria, ecstasy and pleasure flowed through their veins, engulfing them in pure dopamine. Both of them were breathless as they lay next to each other on the blood and bodily fluid soaked sheets, just basking in the presence of each other now that they were finally back together.

CE Black Omnipotent

Bombe

Shadow Corridor 2

Crane's Task Force X servitude headcanon masterpost.
[Hiiii since I finished my yearly rewatch of all of the animated Suicide Squad films, I figured this was about time.]
One of the few Squad members to not have a bomb implanted in his neck. Since there was never an official consensus on the roleplay server proper, I took it upon myself as an RP space moderator to lay down some ground rules. As such, that incarnation of Amanda Waller riffs off the 1980's edition, where she was first introduced. That Waller had other ways to manipulate people; in Crane's case, it was the threat of having him shipped to an even worse prison than Arkham or Belle Reve, one where they "cared" enough to forcibly sterilize minorities and the disabled [of which he is both.]
Of the members of his core Suicide Squad team alive at the time of the Anarky-led breakout [see my backstory doc for slightly more info on that], he got along with Katana, Thinker, Firefly, Killer Frost, and Deadshot the best, and has surprisingly attempted to remain in contact with those who were willing.
As mentioned previously, he respected Deadshot greatly. Also had kind of a crush on the guy?
Also bonded with The Fiddler [Isaac Bowin] before he was killed on mission, and Savant [Brian Durlin] before his sentence finished and he went back to working with the Birds of Prey. Bowin moreso because Crane has a soft spot for "naïve idiots". He was actually sad when Bowin died.
Typically not sent on physically strenuous missions towards the end of his 3-year tenure unless somebody really needed a Cantonese translator. Amanda picked him up knowing he was dying but because he'd been out of the public so long underestimated just how quickly his health turned for the worst.
Even then, his experimenting on himself over the years has given him a natural toxin immunity. Quite useful when you're shored up with a bunch of metahumans....and Captain Boomerang, whose cooking is enough to kill. Crane can digest just about anything at this point, but the real question is whether he's willing to.
Was pretty much only valued for his [canon] contortionist abilities and as a last-ditch field psychologist and therapist when Simon LaGrieve wasn't available. Unfortunately he's unreliable as hell unless he likes you, or simply is curious enough to nose around into your business.
Goaded Waller into blowing up Dollhouse/Matilda Mathis while on mission, despite proclaiming he tolerated the girl. This was really just for his own amusement, and to test which of them had bombs. He's just not a fan of hack surgeons.
Hates the TSA even more because of his Suicide Squad tenure. He was definitely one of the more "normal" people on the Squad, and thus flew public when his team had to split up. With the amount of metal in his body, Jonathan lights up like a Christmas tree under a body scanner.
Somehow became even more of a shameless asshole, only this time trading his body for intel and secrets instead of financial/personal security. Has this been an improvement? Who knows. He got pregnant twice, and actually of his own volition this time.
He'll never admit it, but he enjoyed being paid to maul people. Still considers himself very retired though, as he is pushing 70 [in his mid-60's currently] and actively dying. There's just no way he could have kept up with the physical demand of the job for much longer. His everything is kind of giving out.
Actually gained weight during his tenure, as opposed to further starving to death. It helped that Waller gave a shit about her more useful inmates' dietary requirements [i.e., he's mostly tube fed due to the scar tissue and general lack of teeth].
