Assassins creed Odyssey characters and affection- non cultist addition

Nikolaos

The wolf has grown old and weary after a lifetime of war, and loosing most of his family. In general, he was never a touchy man, he just.. didn’t want to be affectionate.

Don’t get me wrong, he cares about you, but even Stentor rarely got affection. A pat on the shoulder from him is his equivalent of cuddling at this rate- if he doesn’t trust or like you he is not touching you.

Stentor

Like his adopted father, Stentor is not super affectionate. He is, however, far more affectionate than Nikolaos, he will pull you into a sort of half hug if he likes you enough.

He’s still a Spartan, though, so generally you’re getting headlocked or being forced into a sparring match for ‘bonding’

Kassandra

The eagle bearer is also not super affectionate, she’s a little hesitant to start being affectionate- but once she does start? She’s still not super affectionate

She’s a lot like her step father, generally a pat to the shoulder, but with the occasional hug if she can sense that you need it.

Barnabas

Barnabas is very touchy, when he talks to you his hands are moving wildly, or he’s grabbing your shoulders or forearms to keep your attention.

He’s the hugger out of this game, you’re in his arms most days, his head on your shoulder as he tells you about all of his adventures, and everyone he’s met over the years.

Brasidas

For a Spartan, he’s actually quite affectionate! And by that I mean you’re being yanked into bone crushing hugs whenever he spots you (beware of him in public- he’s not above tackling).

More often then not, he has an arm around your shoulders, constantly staking a claim on you as he believes you’re too precious- and others will try and hurt you if neither of you are careful.

Perikles and Aspasia

Perikles is not super great with affection, he’s also very shitty at being social. He has a pinky linked with you most days, practically dragging you along wherever he goes or having you as a support during his speeches.

Aspasia is super sweet, bringing you down to parties and social gatherings, encouraging you to meet Sokrates and all of the other great minds. She’s always hovering near you, her arm brushed against your own.

Lysander

Another Spartan man- another prick. Dont try and touch him, he is not fond of anything physical and will take it as you trying to attack him. If anything the most affection you’ll get, is you getting body slammed into the floor.

You think you’re going crazy hearing someone walking behind you- nope! It’s him, grabbing your arm and fucking throwing you. In his defense he will protect you with his life, he’s just a bit of a dick about it.

2. What's your favourite fandom you've ever been in with regards to the media itself?

Definitely AC Odyssey! I've never had a piece of media resonate with me so much, and Kassandra holds a special place in my heart. She's super buff and powerful but she's also so soft and gentle and she kneels down when she talks to kids and I love her so much. And I love all the supporting characters too! Barnabas, Herodotos, and Kassandra are a trio on par with Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli IMO, and I don't think I've ever been quite as affected by a fictional character's death as I was by Phoibe's.

10. What's a character you don't understand the hype around?

Aspasia - she kind of annoyed me from the beginning, but then she was revealed to be a cultist and there was the option to kiss her and that annoyance just turned to straight hatred. I mean, I get that she's hot, but that's no excuse! Especially because her "excuse" for everything she did just felt like total bullshit.

11. Is there any fanon that annoys you?

While I admit that I do it myself in some of my fics, I am not the biggest fan of fics that make Kassandra or Alexios super proud of being Spartan. It just doesn't make sense to me after Sparta threw them to their deaths. Similarly, although I think Nikolaos deeply regretted that night on Taygetos, I don't think Kassandra or Alexios would forgive him easily, or at all.

As for a non AC Odyssey fandom, I have a love/hate relationship with the idea of lordships in the Harry Potter fanon - sometimes I think it's done well and sometimes I think it's terrible. My big problem with it is that it often glorifies the pureblood culture and Death Eater rhetoric, which is really fucked up.

14. Are you a big shipper?

Yes! Although ships usually aren't the focus of my fics, I always get super excited to write my shippy scenes. And I love reading them too! I think I've read every Kassandra x Brasidas, Kassandra x Daphnae, and Kassandra x Alkibiades fic on AO3 and desperately want more 😂

Imagine this…

The Ghost of Kosmos had full range access and control over Deimos (Kassandra). The Ghost of Kosmos is not only the most powerful woman in all of Greece but she’s protected by the fiercest woman in all of Greece.

Deimos doesn’t move without the Ghost’s say so. Kassandra starts getting a little antsy? Unruly? Temper shorter than usual? Kassandra can clear a room with that temper! But here’s Aspasia… walking towards the danger while everyone is running away.

No one knows why, or even how, but Kassandra may hold the worlds strongest broken spear…but it’s Aspasia that wields it.

Kasspasia, But in Roman time (Back story : I borrowed my favorite headcanon from the fandom : Aspasia become immortal with kass, Plus a little vibe from This is How You Lose the Time War book? You guys know this book? I always think of protagonists as kasspasia). Kass come to kill aspasia, failed, and she gets killed (executed) instead. That was the story I originally thought while drawing.... yuh

Alright, I’m a bit early but, I finished these doodles and I wanted to post them because I’m inpatient. Happy (early) Valentine’s Day! I thought I’d just draw some couples (or just two characters) from Odyssey. I also couldn’t find very many couples so I even went into my think tank and remembered Drakon and Melanippos even though they are extreme background characters. Ummm... don’t @ me for the Cleon and Aristophanes one... or the Socrates and Al one.... we’re just not gonna talk about it. Knowing me I probably forgot a couple.
