Former Pakistani President Parvez Musharraf died on Sunday. He was 79. He was the Pakistani Army chief at the time of Kargil War. He overthrew the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to assume power in 1999, which he held until 2008. He supported the US-led War on Terror and participated in failed peace talks with India.
