I've been all caught up with "To The Stars and Back" by Peglo on Webtoons for a while (only started reading it maybe a month ago or more? I dunno my sense of time is unreliable). Holy shit it is so good I need more people to talk about it with and fan over it because wow. Especially with how painfully relatable I find Bo Seon, I'm not as extroverted yet everything else about him feels like someone going, this you?!

I am so glad the new kdramas are bringing back the specific brand of loser men. You know which brand I'm talking about. The Ahn "min min" Minhyuk brand of loser men and I'm loving it. The "I worship this goddess and I'm so in love with her and I can't believe I get to love her. Oh my gods I love her so much" brand of loser men. And we're being fed so well with lovely runner, love next door, no gain no love, my demon, Cinderella at 2am, Hierarchy, Midnight Romance in Hagwon, doctor slump, Queen of tears, welcome to samdal-ri and even good partner (yes it's one sided but the dedication and yuri's couple too).

We need more fictional loser men who worship women to satiate our eldest independent daughter desires.

I added Iseul and Min Jun's parents into the game as ghosts, just so they can have urns and be remembered by the family. I sent Iseul to Planet Honeypop in her Karlach costume again (for the next post) and since her parents were in her and Grace's household, I invited them and her brother over. Seeing Iseul’s face as she hugged her mom and dad made me sappy, so maybe I'll keep them around and include them in the story. 😊

now what about love?

yk when you look at a ship, esp canon and just think "damn they invented love."? I've experienced that so much as I think about all sorts of romance related media I've read and watched. but at the top of my head, I can think of hualian, nick and charlie, percabeth, solangelo, renga, viktoryuri, obamitsu, lumity, sherliam (ynm), aang and katara, and kang dae and bo seon (just to name a few ofc.) and what I think is common between them all is that the love and care is so unconditional, and genuinely real. canon or not, they're important to eachother and would go so far and beyond for the other. love can be expressing your affection is different ways, dote on the other, show that you're there and communicate. it's alot more than that and that's the best part of liking a dynamic, since love can come is so many ways. romantic or not.
