Reactions for characters of your choice to this wonderful song about a loving wife coping with the death of her husband?
Just gonna go with Haematite, because yeahhh, why not? XD
. . .
Bless — Rolls his eyes and looks utterly unimpressed. Such childish, crude humor is beneath him, and he doesn't find it funny.
Finch — Happily (and poorly) singing along with every word, even inserting some of his own. Replays the song to annoy everyone.
Aurora — Giggling so hard she snorts. It's the perfect kind of fucked-up humor for a slightly violent thirteen-year-old!
Oberon — Aurora likes it, so he's neutral. Will absolutely humor his sister and pretend like it's funny, though his reactions are a bit dull.
Kalon — The more explicit parts of the video get a few chuckles out of him, but it's not the funniest thing he's seen.
Tierney — More confused than anything. It sounds so violent?? The humor is lost on him in favor of just plain not getting the joke.
Sumire — Finds it hilarious! Probably singing along with Finch at an equal volume, much to the annoyance of everyone around them.
Henry — Doesn't exactly find it funny, but likes it because Sumire and Aurora are having fun. He's easily influenced like that.
Oleander — Such juvenile entertainment would never amuse him. Meaning, he's the buzzkill who complains the whole time.
Rowena — Very confused. But just when you think she's horrified by the violence, she says something even worse than the video.
Rience — Laughing a little bit at certain parts, but paying more attention to everyone else's reactions than his own entertainment.

The character intros... *grabby hands grabby hands grabby hands* hand em over (if you want to ofc) 👁👁👁👁
Absolutely! XD This is copy-pasted from @dixbolik-lovers, but here you go!
Tumblr media
Bless
Twenty-nine years old. Tsundere boy. Done with everyone else’s shit. He tries to act like he’s above it all, but is actually just as fucked up and weird as everyone else. Kind of a creep actually. Probably lowkey a pervert. Thinks he’s better than those around him, but his ego can come crashing down hard.
Tumblr media
Finch
Eighteen years old. Little shit. Cryptid incarnate. A legal adult now and very happy about this. A terror to everyone around him, but acts his worst whenever he’s around Bless. The pest that everyone wants to hit with a flyswatter. No one knows where the fuck he came from and he’s not talking.
Tumblr media
Aurora
Thirteen years old. Tiny baby girl. Small and sweet, but super aggressive and intense. Won’t hesitate to fight people twice her size now that she’s a vampire. The precious little sister to her big brother... who will fuck up anyone who lays a hand on her. She uses this to her advantage.
Tumblr media
Oberon
(His hair is supposed to be a slightly lighter gray than Aurora’s.)
Twenty-seven years old. Aurora’s overprotective big brother. A scary and mysterious guy who no one knows much of anything about. Probably a criminal. Definitely knows how to hide a body. Sexy voice. Doesn't show his face to anyone but his little sister.
Tumblr media
Kalon
Twenty-one years old. Awful, awful boy. Likes fucking with people for the fun of it. Gets along well with Oberon. Acts tough and is kind of a dick, but might have a softer side than he wants people to know about. Pretty chill overall. Aurora’s babysitter when Oberon isn’t around.
Tumblr media
Tierney
Twenty-nine years old. The walking manifestation of an anxiety attack. The only sane one of all of them and perpetually horrified by the lunatics he's forced to be around. Might be something of a masochist, but he’s not telling. A pessimistic guy who sees the worst in everything.
Tumblr media
Sumire
Eighteen years old. In her last year of high school. Seems cute and friendly, but is actually all kinds of scary. Cheerful and ditzy, but prone to violence. Just wants everyone around her to be happy. Big titty, big heart. Her eyes look dead for a very good reason. Probably traumatized.
Tumblr media
Henry
Fifteen years old. The other absolute baby. Seems to be one of the sane ones, but not really. Probably has stabbed someone before. Cute, but has his breaking points. Super shy, stutters a lot. Please give him a hug before he cries. Has a crush on Aurora.
Tumblr media
Oleander
Sixteen years old. Bratty little shit who thinks he’s tough. Sharp mouth to anyone he doesn't respect... which is basically everyone. Bad attitude and worse behavior. Actually kind of a coward. Very smart, but lacks common sense. Hates anyone who thinks they’re better than him.
Tumblr media
Rowena
Twenty-four years old... maybe. Mysterious girl. Serious and solemn, but also very gentle and kind. The things she says about her past don’t quite line up. Extremely quiet and withdrawn. Takes care of others. From a very sheltered background and doesn’t know how the real world works.

What about Kalon with 8, 11, 12, 14, 17, 29?
12 and 17 huh.... you’re getting shippy with this man. XD
8. What’s their favorite dessert?
Can you consider Irish coffee to be a dessert? If so, that’s Kalon’s favorite. Generally, he likes the taste of both coffee and alcohol, so combining them makes for something that he loves. Spiked, sweet coffee drinks of just about any kind go over well with Kalon. And no, he’s not an alcoholic by any means. Unlike some people, he has self-control.
11. What’s their biggest pet peeve?
It’s stupid, but Kalon can’t stand a lot of little things. He’s got a super short temper, and everything from chewing gum too loudly to clicking a pen can make him ready to deck someone. He’s just easily frustrated all-around, really. But what he hates most is probably being bossed around... by anyone other than Oberon. He doesn’t dare complain about that for reasons that are very, very easy to see.
12. How do they act when they have a crush?
Crushes turn Kalon into even more of a dick. His idea of showing affection to someone he’s crushing on is to be a total jerk and fuck with them at every turn. Mocking words, poking fun, and physical roughhousing are all ways that he can display hidden affections. Kalon is very unlikely to act on a crush, so he gets his feelings out by tormenting the object of his affection and making them scream at him for it. It’s how he has fun with people... and he really doesn’t want them to see him as anything but a heartless jerk. Someone he cares about seeing his soft side would be the worst.
14. What’s the pettiest thing they’ve ever done?
As much as Aurora tends to get on his nerves, Kalon doesn’t dare do anything to so much as irritate her. Oberon would have his head. However, he is stupid brave enough to fuck with Oberon just a little bit. Once, as revenge for making him get into a fistfight to protect Aurora (one that she definitely was the cause of), Kalon pulled a stupid prank on Oberon that he’s never allowed to speak of again. It worked, but considering how pissed Oberon was, Kalon knows better than to bring it up ever... no matter how funny it was to for once get one over on the invincible man.
17. Their idea of a perfect date?
Uh... he hasn’t thought about that much. Despite his tough-guy, asshole attitude, Kalon is actually pretty inexperienced in the field of romance. He’s never had a partner before, and he’s never thought about dating either. He’s had... other circumstances in his life that made dating take second place. If Kalon had to choose a perfect date, though, he’d say either going shopping and watching his date try things on for the fun of it or just taking a walk with his arm over their shoulder would be ideal.
29. Do they have any aesthetic that they really like?
Punk everything. Kalon is a fan of black, red plaids, piercings, spikes, chains, heavy boots, and maybe a little bit of eyeliner. His sense of aesthetics tends to come out in his fashion choices more than anything, and he’s definitely not afraid to look more than a little eccentric when he feels like it. Who cares if people stare? Kalon likes looking scary and strange enough to make people think he might be the one who can hide a body.

Kalon Dimitri — Character Questions
How old are they? — Twenty-one.
What gender are they? — Male.
What is their romantic/sexual orientation? — Pansexual/romantic
How tall are they? — 5′11/180cm
What do they look like? — Pale skin, dark red hair worn in a short, undercut bob with straight bangs and shoulder-length sidelocks. Sharp, narrow gray eyes, small nose, and a perpetual smirk. Four cartilage piercings in his left ear and one in each earlobe. Slight tooth gap and perpetual eyebags.
What are their defining features? — Distinctive hairstyle, ear piercings, twin barrettes usually worn on the left side of his bangs.
Does their name have a meaning? — Kalon can mean “beauty”, and Dimitri means “follower of Demeter”.
What family do they have? — His parents are likely still alive, but Kalon hasn’t spoken to any of them in around seven years. When he still knew them, he had his biological father and a step-mother in his life.
Do they have a good relationship with their family? — He doesn’t really have any relationship now. When he was little, he had a decent dynamic with his father, but when his stepmother came into the picture, that eroded completely. He soon became an entirely unwanted child.
If not, why not? — Considering that Kalon’s stepmother talked his father into selling him into indentured servitude, he has pretty good reason not to like either of them. He’d had to take care of his disabled father for most of his life, but when he was around seven, his stepmother managed to talk his father into them needing money badly enough to get rid of the kid in the house and make some cash off of it while they did.
Where do they live? — In a small apartment in a relatively isolated part of the city. Near Oberon and Aurora, but not close enough to draw attention. It’s on the seventh floor of the building, has a fire escape right outside the main window, is sparsely furnished, and is rarely kept particularly clean. He keeps foil and light-blocking curtains over the windows more often than not, and at night, the glow of electronics shines out through the gaps.
Is it a safe place? — Not exactly. The area isn’t the safest place in the world, but between his connections and his own survival skills, Kalon is pretty confident in his safety. He still has four locks on his door, though, and an extra lock on each window, just to be safe.
Are they poor, middle-class, or wealthy? — The lower end of middle class. Since he left the first place he worked, he’s never had issues with poverty. Oberon looks after him when required and his job handles most of his needs. That said, he also spends a lot of money on electronics, so he tends to be a bit short for cash and doesn’t live luxuriously by any means.
Do they look up to anyone? — Without a doubt, Oberon. Kalon sees Oberon as something of a savior, and even if he’s terrified of the guy, he respects him above anyone else. He knows better than to want to be like Oberon, but he also idolizes him for how strong and capable he is.
Who is their best friend? — Outside of online friends, he doesn’t have one. Kalon doesn’t socialize much and he doesn’t have much room for making friends in the line of work he’s in.
Do they have any enemies? — There are a handful of people who specifically dislike him, but those are mostly the ones who know him through Oberon. On his own, while Kalon doesn’t exactly get along with people well, he tends to be more of a passing trend through people’s lives than anyone they remember long enough to come to hate.
Who is the person they hate most in the world? — Probably his father. He hates his step-mother too, for a lot of reasons, but there’s something worse about a person who’d sell him out after loving him for seven years than the person who hated him from the very beginning.
Do they have any love/hate relationships? — In a way, Oberon. They’re kind of friends. Kind of. Oberon was the one to save Kalon and give him a chance at his own life, so Kalon is grateful and highly respects the guy... he’s also absolutely terrified of Oberon and knows that he could easily get himself hurt if he crosses any lines. Oberon doesn’t trust him, Kalon knows that, and he just accepts the permanent power imbalance in their relationship.
Have they ever fallen in love? — There have been a few people over the years that he’s had crushes on, but he’s never fallen in love.
Who is the person they love the most in the world? — There’s no one in particular that he loves. While he likes people here and there, Kalon has yet to find someone that he cares about in a way deep enough to call “love”. In a lot of ways, he’s distant from the world and the people around him.
Does that person love them back? — Just the same, there’s never been anyone who really loves him. His father may have, at one point, but Kalon’s pretty sure that the man doesn’t care a bit about him now.
Have they ever hurt or lost anyone? — He lost his family, kind of, but that was more their choice than his. Kalon never wanted to leave, but when he looks back on it, it was a good thing he got away. While it was a “loss”, Kalon thinks by now that he needed to leave— and being sold was what gave him the push to make a life of his own, in the end.
Are they a good shoulder to cry on? — Generally, he’s awful at that kind of thing. Kalon is the type who’d rather poke fun at people and press their buttons than do anything comforting. He doesn’t know how to make people feel better instead of worse. Even if he was trying to comfort someone, it would likely come in the form of awkward shoulder patting and comments that could almost be taken as insults, just because he doesn’t know how to do anything else.
Are they well-liked? — Not really. Kalon has an abrasive sort of personality where he picks on people and teases them relentlessly, and of course, never opens up. Most people find him to be annoying at best.
How do they handle being complimented? — Externally, he either takes them arrogantly (of course I’m...), brushes them off like they’re nothing, or laughingly denies them, depending on what was said and by who. Internally, he doesn’t think he deserves compliments, so he never takes them to heart.
Are they an affectionate person? — In a weird way, yes. Kalon shows affection by picking on people. He’s the definition of “he bullies you because he likes you”. There aren’t many people who he wants to be affectionate to, but when he does get set on someone, he’ll relentlessly tease them in a clumsy effort to make a connection. He genuinely sucks at affection in any gentle, genuine, soft form.
Are they very driven? — There isn’t much that Kalon cares about but living his life day-to-day. He has no real long-term goals or anything he wants to do. So no, there isn’t much that drives him.
Are they very political? — Doesn’t care about politics.
What kind of state is the world that they live in? — Kalon’s word is narrow and lonely. He doesn’t have many friends outside of Oberon, he doesn’t do much but his job and aimlessly surfing the internet, and he doesn’t have anything he really wants out of life. He just floats from one day to the next in a state of not knowing or caring what comes next.
Does the character worry about their place in society? — Not particularly. The way he’s living now is much better than how it used to be, so Kalon can’t find any room to complain.
If they could change one thing, what would it be? — There are a lot of things that Kalon would like to change, and they all involve getting rid of things that happened to him. He doesn’t care about the present so much as erasing the feeling of ever having someone else’s hands on him or having to be afraid of how he’d be hurt next. He’d want to get rid of the things that make it hard to sleep and leave him always feeling dirty.
Do they like themselves? — Insert Kalon laughing in the background. No. He definitely does not. There really isn’t anything to like, is there? He’s a boring person with far too many issues and not enough good traits. There’s a reason why no one else likes him, so he doesn’t like himself much either.
Are they a good person? — Probably, but it’s deeply buried. The way he is now, Kalon doesn’t care about anyone but himself. He does what he has to to get by, whatever that entails. He doesn’t stop to think about other people or his own morals. It doesn’t matter right now if he’s good or not. He has his softer side somewhere inside, but he’s not letting that out.
Are they very forgiving? — Not really forgiving, but more of the type to let grudges slide out of pure disinterest in what happened.
Do they believe in destiny? — In a way... it might have been destiny that Oberon saved him. But generally, no. There’s no need to think about things like destiny when he’s just trying every day to get by.
Are they trustworthy? — Not in the slightest. Kalon will happily lie and pull tricks to get what he wants. When he has selfish motivations, he’ll turn on people in a second. However, that mostly applies to people he’s no close to. Someone like Oberon... he wouldn’t dare do anything untrustworthy.
Are they a good liar? — It’s less that he’s a good liar and more that it’s very difficult to tell if he’s messing with someone or being genuine. Kalon does so much fucking around and messing with people’s heads that most find it hard to notice if he’s just being a jerk, actually lying, or telling the truth about something. It’s in Kalon’s nature to be devious, and especially because of his layers of toying with people, he’s very good at getting away with lies.
How do they react to criticism? — While it looks like he brushes criticism off, Kalon actually tends to internalize it. He’ll never show it, but he has a lot of self-doubt deep inside, and harsh criticism doesn’t help that.
What is their moral alignment? — A very strong, “looks out for only himself” sort of neutral. Kalon isn’t evil by any means. He likes to mess around and toy with people, but he’s not actively malicious. And just the same, he isn’t “good” either. Kalon does what he has to to protect himself, regardless of what that means in terms of his actions.
Can they fight? — Overall, decently. Oberon taught him basic self-defense, so Kalon’s capable of taking care of himself. That said, he’s not too strong, and physical combat isn’t his strong suit by any means.
Would they ever purposefully hurt someone? — It depends on what definition of “hurt” you’re using. Physically speaking, the sight of blood and gore makes Kalon a little bit sick. He’s not the type who can inflict extreme violence. But mentally, he’s not afraid to do plenty of harm. He’ll destroy someone socially or psychologically without hesitation if he needs to, but he definitely prefers to keep his hands clean and do it from a distance.
Have they ever been seriously injured? — The worst time he’s ever been injured is when he was still a servant. The oldest son of the house liked to do... things, and a couple of times, Kalon wound up pretty hurt from them. Never badly enough to need medical attention, but there was plenty of pain. With his job, there have also been plenty of times where he feared being hurt.
Do they know first-aid? — Again, with the line of work he’s in, he kind of has to. There are just too many risks for things going wrong.
Do they have any other survival skills? — Kalon is definitely a virtual survivor. He’s good at navigating an online environment and getting around in that situation. In real life, he has street smarts and the knowledge of how to keep himself safe when dealing with not-so-nice people.
Are they a fast learner? — Very much so. Kalon is used to having to adapt to new situations in very major ways, so he got used to picking up quickly what he needs to do. With the two major changes in his life, even if he wasn’t born as a quick learner, he figured out how to be one.
How intelligent are they? — Kalon is definitely the smartest one of his little group. Despite not having proper schooling for most of his childhood, once he was out of the household where he served, he personally worked to get caught up. Kalon is more than capable of teaching himself whatever he needs to know. However, his greatest source of intelligence lies with technology and navigating the internet to find what he needs.
What is their school system like? — Kalon hasn’t ever gone to school. He was stuck taking care of his dad when he was little, and from ages seven to fourteen, he was working as a servant where education wasn’t an option. Once he was away from that situation, though, he made it his mission to teach himself everything he’d missed out on.
What is their job? — He works with Oberon’s “cleaner” job in the form of gathering information and keeping track of clients. It involves a lot of surfing the darker side of the internet, keeping detailed records, and finding things that no one wants him to find.
Do they enjoy their job? — For the most part, yes. It pays the bills and gives him something to do, so it works. There’s always the scary side of dealing with downright dangerous people, though... and he likes that part less.

Special 35 ask :D. What would break Oberon and Kalon emotionally?
35. Free space! Ask whatever you’d like to know.
Oberon
In Oberon’s case, breaking him would entirely have to do with his sister. There’s not really anything else that he cares about. You can hurt him all you want to, and it won’t do much of anything. His weaknesses are buried under layers and layers of emotional bedrock. However, Aurora being taken away from him somehow, like permanently kidnapped or killed, would destroy him. For thirteen years, the only thing that he’s lived for has been her. He’s done everything, everything for the sake of making her life as good as it can be. Losing Aurora would mean the end of his reason to live.
Kalon
For Kalon, being broken would most likely mean betrayal. In a lot of ways, he’s weaker than Oberon. His emotions are more open and fragile. Deep, deep down, buried under layers of sarcasm, apathy, and near-sadistic playfulness, Kalon is a soft person who’s easy to hurt. He doesn’t open up to people because he knows that he’s bound to get hurt if he does. What would probably do the worst to him is loving someone, really loving someone, and having them abandon him or betray him for some cruel reason. Letting himself love is what has the most potential to break him.

Oberon and Kalon with 32? Like, what's their relationship like?
32. A description of their relationship with other character?
Oberon and Kalon’s relationship can’t exactly be defined as a friendship. They’re on good terms with each other, but there’s a definite power imbalance that’s apparent to anyone looking in. Oberon is scary, Kalon knows this, and Kalon obeys him mostly for fear of what would happen if he didn’t. Yeah, he likes Oberon just fine. He even respects the guy. That still doesn’t mean that he enjoys being treated like a lackey. And that really is how Oberon treats him. Despite their friendly dynamic, Oberon still orders Kalon around quite a bit and expects him to obey without question. Kalon does so, even if he gets frustrated with it a lot.
As for how they see each other, Kalon views Oberon as the most terrifying person in the world. He’s been involved in some dark stuff himself, but of everything and everyone he’s dealt with, Oberon holds the record for the scariest. Kalon has no doubts that that man would do anything if it meant keeping his sister safe and well. He has a lot of respect for Oberon because of the things they’ve been through together and how sheerly capable Oberon is, but he still kind of resents how the other man treats him. Kalon is well aware that Oberon doesn’t really care about him. Oberon tolerates him at best, and if Kalon were to fail or step too far out of line, there’s no doubt that he’d be in big trouble. He’s not stupid enough to see Oberon as a friend; just an ally who he can rely on as long as he knows his place.
Meanwhile, Oberon sees Kalon as a useful person that’s worth keeping around. He tolerates a lot more from Kalon than he would from anyone else, mostly because Kalon has been loyal to him for so long. Kalon has proved himself to be trustworthy and worthwhile, and even though Oberon knows that those traits are motivated by fear, he still places a lot of faith in the other man. He lets Kalon babysit Aurora. That says a LOT. However, Oberon doesn’t think of Kalon as a friend. In Oberon’s mind, he’s not the kind of person who has friends at all. With his lifestyle and choices, he doesn’t see himself as capable of having people around him that aren’t just tools. And as much as he appreciates Kalon, if he ever went too far, Oberon wouldn’t hesitate to get rid of him and punish him as needed.
The two interact fairly well, though. Oberon is always his serious, intimidating self, but Kalon has relaxed around him enough to behave fairly casually. To some extent, he’ll joke around with Oberon and even tease the other man a bit. He knows his limits, but he also knows that he can get away with far more than most people. Oberon gives Kalon orders to take care of various tasks, and Kalon does so willingly. He doesn’t get much out of it, but at this point... he’s actually pretty attached.
