kalliope is the eldest of the mousai, the goddesses of music, song and dance. she is also the goddess of eloquence, who bestowed her gift on kings and princes. in the classical era, when the mousai were assigned specific artistic spheres, kalliope was named muse of epic poetry.

Martin,would have been a great dad/character!

Notice how molly life didn't suck before her mom died? Despite martin still being a terrible parent back then?

It's because of kalliope! Listening to there dynamic while she would definitely be doing a whole lot more martin is what kept her in check and made sure she was keeping it together.

In a sense martin was the fun one!

He might have even been likeable at one point!

He isn't the glue that kept the store running but you never heard molly complain about him before the incident,so he must have been at least some what a good parent!

In a universe where both of molly parents lived,Martin would have been like the character that would lighten up the mood when they got too stressed or the comic relief character everyone liked!

Martin is a incompetent fool and a terrible father,he always was but in the right situation you might actually be surprised how much you would like him.
