Inspired by Kaenith and their Ribbon Day series of fics. This is the story that emerged from how I headcanoned the first Ribbon Day, after the Four Sword, adventure and thus the death of Shadow Link, but before Shadow's eventual resurrection by Vio.

Inspired by @kaenith as stated above, and the post canon AU their Ribbon Day stories are set in. Inspiration struck and I felt the motivation to create which is sadly fleeting for me lately. I hope the story is palatable at least.

GEEZ that is. wild FS fandom history, I don't even know what to say about that. In 2016 too ?? ig that is when the antis first started to get really vocal [ blaming voltron for the start of that ] but it feels so damn weird to hear about any fandom discourse like this pre-2019

It was pretty bizarre to witness first hand tbh? Like I was friends with the writer in question, and they were quite popular in the fandom at the time. They handled it gracefully, but we were all kind of like ???? What the fuck???

I can't say anything in regards to Voltron being the (visible) start of anti prevalency, as I was never in the fandom and I tend to ignore discourse anyways because I see no point in fanning flames, especially if it's not my fire. But it did start getting worse around that time, I think. I just never thought it would effect FS because it's such a small fandom.

And to my point, i did speak privately to the person who made the callout post because I was trying to understand why they did that? And their real issue boiled down to the author tagging their non-con/cnc smut as non-con/cnc instead of rape. My memory is a little shoddy bc this happened when I was in highschool still, but I believe they said that they [the author that was called out] were using the cnc/non-con tags to deflect from the fact that they were "writing rape fic" and I quote "at least I call it what it is"

Bizarre doesn't really begin to describe that line of thought, but then I learned reading comprehension and the difference between fiction and reality when I was like, 10, so. . .

Color Fall 2023 - #1

It's that time of year again! I'm doing the shorter version of Color Fall this year (1 drawing roughly every 3 days), as well as participating in the Four Swords Fright Fight!
