😿Bunny Dies

A significantly more polished VHS movie than the ones we have been used to. Fairly scary and interesting videos, the wraparound left a lot to be desired. All in all an okay film.

The movie is held together by a police raid going on and smack in the middle is a room of screens playing our tapes. Video one features the Ratman who is half man, half rat. Yikes! We have our spunky reporter Holly who goes in with her cameraman who you know is dead meat (Creep vibes basically) to a sewer system looking for a story about the foul conditions of homeless folk but instead gets captured by the Cult of Ratman. First the Cameraman gets his face burned off by the Ratman’s acidic saliva (think Alien) BUT his saliva is only selectively acidic on the bad so when he drools on Holly, she is okay! Gross! Holly returns to the real world and attempts to do a news report but is only able to get out some nonsense about the Ratman before spitting her own acidic goo on her co-anchor, causing his face to melt off. Then Holly finishes the news report, hailing Ratman.

Our second tape is of someone’s wake and it stars the funeral home attendant that is supposed to make sure the wake goes smoothly… No guests have arrived yet as it is nighttime and a bad storm but creepy thumping noises are coming from INSIDE THE COFFIN. Dun dun dun! Our funeral attendant calls her bosses and they just tell her it is the gasses in the body settling (it is just the house settling) but our main babe isn’t so sure about this. A mysterious man arrives at the wake, the only one who arrives, and he speaks tongues over the coffin before leaving. Now our main lady is alone again and oops, the power is out! And oops! The doors are chained shut! And wow! That guy from the coffin is walking around now! Wack! She tries to fight him off but only has luck once the tornado swoops in and fucks shit up giving her a way to escape through the broken window.

The third video includes a woman who was made into a monster not just by a mad scientist who transformed her body but by the very people who came to save her. At first she was just an unassuming human by the initials S.A. but then she was captured by a mad scientist who took her apart and put her back together with metal (which we don’t get to see 'til the end but it is pretty gnarly). After the mad scientist is discovered, the police raid his lab, kill him, and look to rescue whatever humans are left, but S.A. isn’t exactly human anymore, in fact they start to call her a monster from this point on. In trying to get out alive our girl S.A. has to do some awfully monstrous things just to survive but it is barely her fault, this was the lot she was given. All she wants to do is live and the police are not giving her a chance here. We are the monsters we make of each other. It all boils down to basically everyone dead on the floor but somehow S.A. has enough charge to get up and walk away at the end. Good for her.

Tape number four is about a crazy militia that is going around killing folk and pressing their agenda. This one is a little confusing because the dudes in it are so wild but basically they think they are led by God to be violent against the government. They also have this creature blood that explodes when exposed to sunlight so that is something. But they fuck everything up that they so carefully built by getting piss drunk. Somehow this results in their captive vampire breaking loose and then they all kind of kill themselves trying to stop the vampire, it is pretty goofy. The entire film ends with the cop raid ending as two of the girl cops (our Final Girls) capture the last cop left and beat him to death with a camera after exposing that this was their little scheme to get more VHS videos. Similar to the ending of VHS Viral, only the character being told the plot doesn’t get to live on to further the plot, only their tape.

I have a theory I HAVE A BODIES THEORY! And abit of brain storm. Sorry If it makes absolutely no sense im just typing it out.

Elias doesn't exist anymore obviously, though he was the one who brainwashed everyone right before defoes bodies arrived, we've got the mains being brainwashed by elias who are in 2023 which are Iris and barber. And Iris seems to have memory. The timeline was reset JUST before the body was found but not just before everyone had got brainwashed. Even though they couldn't of been brainwashed by someone who never existed, why did Iris remember Shaharas name and the fact she's in 2023. It seems that victims of Elias seem to remember more then they should. For example, the detectives have a slight memory of someone who meant lots to them. Is there a new version of Elias? Has someone taken over because it seems KYAL building and cult has somehow made it into 2023? But then it goes for the throat? Iris was originally in 2053 where the throat is, and the throat seems unavoidable to make considering Defoe majors in physics? But of they did time travel then it would mess things up. So was iris never meant to be in 2053? Even if she was only an infant or toddler in 2023??

So yeah it seems like victims of Elias remember more then they should. Anyway even if it was this the detectives wouldn't need to play a big part anymore so if there was a s2 iris would be the main character, then again I think only shahara and Iris as detectives would play a big part while Alfred and Charles get on with their lives, literally having some sort of memory to who they loved or cared about.

And what if the detectives did remember more there they got closer to eachother, remembering things they shouldn't bc clearly the timeline isn't 100% fixed if everyone has memory's and we've got Iris here knowing IT ALL.
