Everything is so warm… and comforting. He keeps touching the fabric of his blue dress, again and again, giggling, although not a sound reaches the world, twirling around. It’s so soft, and not… wet and cold… and it’s cute… and it makes his heart soar, and- he feels confident almost… sort of cute…

He looks over himself in the mirror again, a wide smile on his face, as he plays with the large blue bow intermingled with his soft locks of wispy silver. He tugs it a few times, a slight pain shooting down his skull, but the tingles of joy outlast it.

He looks down and over at Gotoh, trying to communicate with his purple crab friend, spinning around.

Gotoh taps around the dresser, clearing his throat.

���You look quite stunning, Master Killua.”

Killua beams, picking him up and giving him a quick peck on the cheek, rushing out the door.

Zushi splashes up and down in the water, trying to get a glimpse of his friend.

Killua’s face goes red. His skin gets all clammy and hot, and he equates the feeling to a flickering flame…

He plays with the edges of his hair, wishing he had a dinglehopper, shaking his head furiously.

Gon laughs and holds his hand out for Killua to take.

Killua takes it, bathing in the warmth of it, still blushing, as Gon guides him along the path.

Killua can’t wipe the smile off his face; there’s so much human stuff here! He eagerly runs around pointing out things to Gon, who likely has seen them every day of his life, but Killua can’t help it.

He almost falls into one of the merchant's displays, and Gon wraps an arm around his waist, pulling him back gently, and Killua turns around and looks up, puffing out his cheeks, pointing to the whole set of dinglehoppers.

Gon grins and removes his arm slowly, still lingering near Killua as he smiles dashingly at the merchant.

“I will take one set, please.”

Killua’s eyes go wide, and he grabs Gon’s arm in excitement, giddily hopping.

“Leorio won’t be happy with me, but…”

He takes the box from the man gently, going to put it in their wagon, climbing up the steps with ease, and offering Killua a hand to take, who readily takes it, stepping up and then jumping.

“Woah. Easy!”

Killua lands in Gon’s chest; feeling those weighted arms around his waist, breathing heavily, his heart skipping a beat, a pretty pink painting over his cheeks, as he looks up, lips parted and big blue eyes wide.

Gon’s cheeks flush, and he grins sheepishly, slowly dropping his arms to his side, taking Killua’s forearm gently and helping him sit down.

“You sure like forks, huh?”

Killua still feels warm, and he nods, not really getting what forks are.

“I’m the same!”

Killua looks over inquisitively as Gon pulls out a smaller box from the back of the wagon, brushing the wood off, and opening the small golden hatch.

Killua stares at the hooks, blinking.

“They’re fishing hooks; I like to collect them, even though I don’t fish.”

He takes one out and places it in Killua’s hand. It’s cold, familiar… and almost terrifying but oddly beautiful. Killua runs his finger over it stopping at the end and touching the sharp edge.

Pain.

It’s sharp and stinging, and Killua flinches, almost dropping it, panic flitting across his face. He doesn’t want to drop something precious to Gon.

“Careful!”

Gon’s voice is gentle, and he takes the hook from Killua rubbing the edge with his shirt, and putting it back, all but throwing the box to the side.

Confusing… Killua thought it meant a lot to Gon…

Gon takes his hand carefully and examines his finger, sighing in relief.

“You’ll be okay. I’ll wrap it up when we get back, okay? I just have one more place to go…”

It’s amazing. Killua had never looked at the water from this angle before, although Gon called it a “pond,” whatever that meant…

He sits on the edge of the cobblestone stairs, smiling peacefully, looking back at Gon, who is staring at something that looks like an instrument, making Killua’s face fall.

He’s doing it again… Killua presses his fingers up to his throat, swallowing back tears.

Hanging out with Gon… Killua isn’t sure he can do it anymore. Force Gon to love him.

He wants Gon to be happy… if Gon isn’t happy with him… then…

Forget it. Even though… he wants to be a human. He loves it. Not… not…

Gon has this dreamy look once in a while, like he’s looking for someone else…

He can’t stop the warm tears that start to plop onto his cheeks. He can hear Gon gasp and feel him tense up when their shoulders brush together as he sits down.

“What’s wrong?”

Killua shakes his head, an unheard sob stuck in his throat, and he wipes tears away, looking over with a fake grin, a silent laugh leaving his lips.

He doesn’t want to lose this…

Gon’s eyes are so filled with distress, and Killua tries to will the tears away, looking out at the water, blinking back the burning, stinging sensation.

“It’s okay. Hey…”

Gon’s voice is gentle as he shimmies closer, pressing his fingers carefully against Killua’s shoulder blade.

Warm. It only makes him cry harder, an endless wave.

“Hey… here, hold your hands out.”

Gon gently takes his hands, and Killua’s breath hitches as silent as his sobs. Gon’s hands are much larger than his and warmer, and feel stronger… the rough surface and the lines and small bumps, blisters, calluses…

Gon pushes his hands out, and Killua stares wide-eyed and dumbfounded, little sparkling lights of fireflies dancing on the water.

One comes close to his hand and lands in his palm, and Gon gently clasps his hands together so he is holding it, the small refractors of light shining through.

“It’s pretty, right?”

Killua looks at it, tears slipping past his cheeks, nodding.

“Just like you.”

He gaps air leaving his lungs and his mouth falling open like the sound would reach the air, his ears burning, and his chest swelling.

Gon brushes his thumb against his cheek, wiping away a tear.

“So please don’t cry… uhh…”

Killua looks over and slowly lets the firefly go, gently poking Gon’s hand.

Gon gives him his full attention smiling softly.

“Yeah?”

Killua traces the letter K.

“K? Ohhh! I get it! Uhh, let’s seeee… Kevin…?”

Killua furrows his eyebrows, shaking his head in disgust.

I.

“Uhh, Kit?”

No…

Killua freezes, looking away; Gon stops guessing and pauses.

“What’s wrong?”

Killua shakes his head. He doesn’t like his name. His stomach drops, and he wishes he had never even started this dumb game.

Gon gently takes his hand like he’s a princess, and Killua peeks through his bangs.

“Hey. I’m sure your name is beautiful, just like you.”

Killua shakes his head and uses his other hand to trace the other letters furiously.

K. I. L. L. U. A.

“Killua?”

Killua turns away, visibly sighing, his shoulders dropping and head lowering.

“That is a pretty name!”

Huh…?

Liar!

Killua doesn’t believe him! B-but he sounds so genuine… he looks over shyly, playing with his hair.

Gon just smiles like he’s the whole world, genuinely.

“It’s pretty like you.”

The hair on Killua’s neck stands on end, his whole frame taut and blood rushing to his face, as he screams since it won’t reach anyone and buries his face in Gon’s chest, grabbing his arm.

Gon chuckles lightly, and it’s like the sound of bells in the air, and Killua shifts, smiling.

Just for now… he can enjoy this.

𓆩♡𓆪 Heeseung reacting to you doing an aegyo on a variety show that the two of you and your group were apart of, all of the older members from both groups was forced supposed to do an aegyo. None of your members could complain since even though they didn't want to do an aegyo, they wanted their fans to become satisfied. Enhypen did it before your group, you watched with a smile as heeseung tried miserably acting cute without showing his dislike. After their group was now finished, it was now your turn. Being the eldest member of the group you were the first one to do an aegyo, as you were acting cute, heeseung was looking at you and even though he couldn't give much of a reaction but just let out a smile that reached his ears as you bury your face in your hand and quickly hiding behind your other members, hiding from the camera, the other hosts laughing at your reaction while heeseung kept his gaze on you with a large smile. He had a smile everytime he looked at you every chance he got. Meanwhile behind the camera he kept teasing you and Mimicking your voice and gestures with a higher pitch and exaggerated everything.

Safe to say, the smile he kept giving you on the show got him a jab to his ribs by jungwon(and you😇⁉( 1) and a dating scandal with you that lasted until he established that you both were indeed dating.

𓆩♡𓆪 Jay hearing that you were going to be forced to do an aegyo for a dare at a party got his attention faster then anything, was he talking to one of his member? No he isn't, he's looking at you with stars in his eyes subtly shining. He even tried to hide his smile after you did an aegyo, meanwhile you were sliding down on your seat to the ground, and covered your face as you were cruling yourself in a ball while shrieking loudly. You heard a low chuckle across from you, you peeked out from your fingers, you could see jay trying to hide his laugh from you, looking away while still drinking from his cup, you grabbed a nearby pillow and threw it towards jay almost spilling his drink on his clother and on the floor, you were still hiding your face from everyone and you still layed on the floor.

Even if he did (kinda) make fun of you, he'll admit to you when you get home that you're aegyo was the cutest one he saw in his whole life, earning a jab from you(2) while you blush

You kept denying Jake's request for an aegyo, you just told jake to watch your past videos if he so badly wants to see you do an aegyo, but after a while of him begging and bargaining with you, you let out a defeated sigh, hearing this jake looked at you with eyes that were filled with stars.

oh how you regretted doing an aegyo by his request, because now he keeps bugging you to do an aegyo everytime you want something from him or if you need his help.

𓆩♡𓆪 sunghoon and you getting nominated for the it couple of the year, you gave your speech and so did sunghoon, but before you were going back to your group assigned seat, your were stopped by the MC because you both had to do something the fans had voted for before the event started. The two of you having a smile but it immediately faded after you had heard what the MC said, having to hear it again for conformation, you glanced at sunghoon expecting him to do an aegyo for the both of you, seeing that he also was looking at you, thinking that the other one was going to do an aegyo, you two just look at each other, after a quick look at the mc, you eventually whispered to sunghoon for the both of you to do an aegyo. Both of you got embarrassed, but luckily for you, you got had already gotten used to it.

Meanwhile sunghoon hid his face behind the award that were given to him, still having his face hidden, he stole a glance at you, seeing you naturally do an aegyo, his embarrassment turned into admiration for your braveness since he know you dislike doing an aegyo.

𓆩♡𓆪 sunoo watched the newest episode of your variety show, guessing the word your member was saying to you while wearing headphones, getting split into two teams, the punishment still being unknown. The other team had started and they got 6 words right. You team started next and sunoo was rooting for you since you were the one guessing the word and every time you got a word correct he cheered quietly since it was late at night and his roommate had already fallen asleep earlier. After a few round of the guessing game, your team had lost to the opposing team and they picked the punishment to be ' one of the member has to do an aegyo', you glimpsed at your team looking gloom, having felt bad for the older members, you raised your hand, wanting to do an aegyo so your other members didn't have to. Sunoo viewed you in the screen while his lips unconsciously curled upwards admiring your courage. Seeing you act cute as the song played in the background, sunoo's heart beated loudly as he kept his eyes on you all through out the song. He wished he could become closer with you, what you like to do in your free time, how he wishes he could experience how you were so kind to people, to see it for himself, but he knew deep down he couldn't experience it since both of your social status were so far apart and how with just a single interaction with you could tarnish your reputation in just seconds knowing how knetz were so harsh with anything that associated with k-pop idols.

𓆩♡𓆪 jungwon and you were visiting his parents since they finally finishes their promotion so their manager granted them a week off and all the members(excpet ni-ki) went to their parent house to relax and spend time with their parent and/or siblings, you and jungwon were just hanging out in his room while playing with maeumi, waving around his favorite stuff toy at the same time he kept jumping around trying to get the toy from you. Jungwon was laying on his bed with his phone in his hands, staring at both of you playing around, you eventually got bored and maeumi got tired and went to sleep,you crawled on jungwon's bed and kept annoying him until he got super annoyed with you tickling his waist and went out of his room leaving you sitting on his bed. Feeling awful for bothering him, you went out to find him in the kitchen getting himself a glass of water, you sneaked around him making sure he doesn't notice you. You circled your arms around his waist tightly so he couldn't get away from your embrace, but he was much more stronger than you, he easily got away from your grasp and went back to his room, you following him close behind, still whining and pouting while he still kept ignoring you.

You both were now laying on his bed while he is scrolling on his phone, for a while he still kept ignoring you until you kept pouting at him and giving him teary eyes, he finally put down his phone and rolled and layed on top of you. Hearing giggles beside him, jungwon asked what you were giggling about, "I knew you wouldn't last long ignoring me~"

"Hmm, or maybe I should ignore you once in a while if I get to see you looking so adorable whining for my attention" jungwon smirked as he made you realize he ignored you because he wanted you to act cute for him. 𓆩♡𓆪 hanging out with konon in her apartment with your other friends in the living room, chatting amongst all of you, one of your friends suggested to have an aegyo battle since you guys weren't doing anything or playing any games. All of you agreed and started right away, but konon had forgotten to mention to all of you that her younger brother, riki, would visit her later in the afternoon but you guys were having to much fun and she eventually forgot it. After a while you guys were finally in the final round, you, konon and 2 other friends were finally finished battling. It was now you and konon's turn, she went first and while she started to act cute, you remained stoic, your lips twitched upwards a few times but now enough for you to let out a laugh, when it was finally your turn, all of your friends we're laughing so loud that all of you couldn't hear knocking at the front door. When you were in the middle of doing your aegyo to konon for the second time, the door suddenly burst open then revealed riki, konon's younger brother. Riki stared at both you and his sister with a dumbfounded look as silence quickly filled up the room, until finally, konon broke the tension by her shouting at rik for suddenly barging in while riki remarked back that he kept knocking but no one heard him. As he was rushed by his sister to get his stuff in the guest bedroom, you hid yourself from riki as you were getting relentlessly teased by your friends since riki saw you acting cute and you had a crush on him.

When konon came back from helping riki get his stuff organized, she saw you getting teased about something she couldn't hear, she let it go and announced that since her brother came to visit her she had to cook food for everyone, you were instantly crowned as the winner of the aegyo battle, everyone clapped and cheered for you. When konon was finally cooking food and everyone was talking to each other, your phone had a notification pop up, the name of the messenger was riki.

You hadn’t been gone long enough for the sheets next to where Ni-ki laid to loose all there warmth, but he felt as if you’d been gone for hours. He laid half asleep, his hyungs snoring and stirring in their own beds—completely unaware to the state of misery their maknae was in. Perhaps as he balanced between sleep and wake his emotions were having a hard time balancing between logical and extreme. As his heart filled with a unexplainable ache and his eyes began to brim with irrational tears, he decided you had been gone from his side for much too long—and he would be taking it upon himself to bring you back.

He swings his legs over the side of the bed, pushing himself from the mattress—his head knocking against the frame of the bed above him, he muffles his groan with a hand laid over his mouth. He slips his bare feet into his slippers, the soles shuffling against the floors as he trudges from the room. Even this early into the morning the boys are still filling the dorms with their bodily noises, snores and sleep-filled grunts slip into the air—but yet if Ni-ki was any louder with his steps he would have more problems than trying to locate you.

Jungwon smiled softly as he spoke, his gaze lingering on his mug as he glides it from hand to hand at the kitchen table. “You know, I’ve never seen him this happy.” His words are barely above a whisper, he seems shy about his statement. “He broke out into a dance when the boys agreed to let you stay the night,” his voice turns up as he laughs.

“Of course he did,” you mutter softly. “I’m glad I got to stay.”

“Even tho our snores keep you up?”

“I should have known what I was walking into,” Jungwon simply smiles and raises his mug to his lips. “Or maybe Ni-ki should have given me a heads up.” His mug clinks gently against the table. “Thank you, tho.”

“For what?”

“Sitting here with me, talking to me, making me tea.”

Jungwon raises his eyebrows in surprise and he chuckles softly. “You do so much for us, and lately , because of you, Ni-ki hasn’t been such a pain.” Jungwon reaches for your mug, to which you let him take, and then he stands from the table. “When Ni-ki is having a hard day you drop everything for him, but you also drop everything for each one of us. Me making tea and talking to you is the least I could ever do.” A moment passes in the kitchen before anybody speaks, but when somebody does its neither you or Jungwon.

“Come back to bed, I’m tired.”

Both your gazes flicker to the messy-haired, pyjama clad boy standing at the kitchen entrance, a deep frown is plastered across his features—bringing a slight smile to your face.

You tried to fight against Ni-ki as he dragged you from the kitchen, but his grip on your waist was much too strong—leaving you to mutter apologies to Jungwon as you were dragged from the kitchen. The leader only chuckled as he watched you struggle against your boyfriends hold, you knew you weren’t going to escape but it was worth some sort of try.

As Ni-ki opened the door to the room you ceased struggling, not wanting to risk waking up one of the boys—knowing how grouchy they could be. Ni-ki let you go, kicked his slippers off, and crawled into the bed—throwing back the duvet. It wasn’t so much an invitation, more of a command. You oblige and crawl onto the mattress, Ni-ki lets out a satisfied sigh as you lay in the space next to him and brings the duvet over your shoulders, tucking it beneath your chin.

“Comfy?” He whispers, you nod gently. He hums softly as he pulls you closer—if that was even possible, seeing as you both are squeezed into a single bunk. He stares at you with loving eyes, leaning in closer he brings his lips to your cheek—but he doesn’t press a kiss to your skin. He simply glides his lips gently across your skin, trailing them over your jaw—lingering softly on your chin before he continued the trail down the front of your neck. Once he reaches the base he plants a soft kiss atop your collarbones. “Can you stay here?”

Bringing your arms around him and pulling him tight against you is your answer. He sighs happily and nuzzles deeper into your shoulder.

“Why’d you leave me for him?” His voice is barely above a whisper.

You sigh, your fingers running through the hairs along the back of his neck. “I didn’t leave you for him, I had to get a drink and he was already in the kitchen when I got there. Im sorry I was gone so long tho, I didn’t notice.”

“You still love me?”

A bed frame groans as one of the boys shifts. “Can you two shut up?”

I want to say that ‘The Vows’ couple are my favourite. I keep reading it again and again. There is nothing better than this. I love them so much. Whenever I see any part of it on my dashboard I read it again along with some other parts. I just love it so much. The reader’s character of being bratty, misunderstood, and not evil is so perfectly balanced. And Yoongi accepts her not just tolerates her, this is my fav part of this fic. He is so much in love with her. And even though she makes him really mad he still loves her the same.

By now, you're pretty good at recognising when your husband is genuinely angry. He's often difficult to read, but you've been making an effort lately, and you're starting to recognise his tells.

When his mouth is in a straight line and his brow's slightly furrowed, he's bemused. It's the expression he had when you hid all his left shoes.

When his brows are drawn together and his mouth opens slightly, he's irritated. He gets like this sometimes when you and Seokjin are arguing.

Hi again Sarah! My Indian films rec list just got super long cos of all the tropes and summaries so I'm making it into a proper post I can tag you in!

While I do that, here are my top five faves from both Bollywood and Kollywood (Tamil films) respectively:

Bollywood:

- Dhoom 2 (2006); I'm actually rewatching this right now and it's a SUPER fun, campy heist movie with a great soundtrack! The whole trilogy of movies are great but this one is my fave and they can all be watched as standalones

- 3 Idiots (2009); a modern classic that most people have heard of if they are casual fans of Bollywood. It takes place in an engineering college and has a super compelling plot I can't give away too much of

- Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008); It's a love story of an arranged marriage between a shy guy and this outgoing girl who kind of hates how quiet and introverted he is. And she thinks he expects her to be a traditional Indian wife so she kind of is sad abt being married. Then she goes to take dance lessons and in an attempt to connect with his wife, he goes to the lessons in disguise as a confident guy and they fall in love!

- A Bonus Rec: If you liked Aamir Khan (the lead actor in 3 Idiots) and Anushka Sharma (the lead actress of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi), they did a really adorable sci-fi movie called PK (2014) about an alien called PK who crashes into India and befriends a human lady. It's just such love letter to humanity and I LOVED Anushka's character back storyline in that movie, it changed my life ahahha

- Teri Meri Kahaani (2012); Heads up this does star Priyanka Chopra but before she became a Hollywood weirdo 😭 and back when she was super talented!! It also stars this really cute actor called Shahid Kapoor. These two play different characters in three different timelines and it explores the concept of soulmates and Hindu reincarnation!! Again CHANGED MY LIFE!

- Ram Leela (2013) or the longer title is Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. It's basically a hotter and older M18 version of Romeo and Juliet with a happy ending if I remember correctly! It starts Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who fell in love on set (they were friends before that) and started dating just before the movie came out! They are now happily married 🥰

How did you start doing jobs for kingsisle?? I'm trying to break into the industry as an artist, and I have no clue how to approach potential employers, even just for commissions 😭😭

Hey! So I actually work full time with KingsIsle as a character animator- my job year round is to make pets, mounts, mobs, npc's move :D

How I got started here is kind of a wild story. I had been wanting to reach out to KI about possibly interning with them post-graduation- I had a few people I semi knew at the company, and knew I'd have a good portfolio piece to show them from my senior thesis project. However, three days before graduation, a friend from KI msg'ed me that KI was doing summer internships, and asked if I was interested. I spent the next 3 days building my portfolio website/resume & sent it to my friend. A month and two interviews later, they accepted me! Once my internship was drawing to and end, they were able to offer me a full time position.

My #1 piece of advice for folks trying to break into the industry: MAKE CONNECTIONS. NETWORK. Obviously having dedication and building your artistic skills (whether that's character design, animation, story boarding, etc) is a huge part of it- like you can make as many connections as you want, but if you don't have a decent set of skills/a portfolio to back you up, then you might be out of luck there. But I cannot understate the importance of networking.

So, how do you make connections/network? My advice:

-I know everyone can't afford it, but going to an art school/college is a decent way to make connections- not just with teacher's who have worked in the industry themselves, but also with your future artists. Heck, I've been seeing younger artists like myself start their own studios. You can defo still make connections w/o college, but I just wanted to note that.

-Interact with artists/folks in the industry online. comment on their posts, ask them genuine questions. Most folks are happy to answer questions or give portfolio advice.

-Mentorships are a great thing- also something i see offered on twitter a lot. Some studio's like dreamworks have "internship" like programs where people who have recently graduation or are looking for a career change can apply to and learn from. I'd follow companies you're interested in via linkedin, or visit their websites to see if they offer things like this

-Also!! Participate in anijams, gamejams, art swaps, zines- these are all great ways to connect with fellow artists online. My college has an animation club that does anijams twice a year- which is a GREAT thing to put on your resume- it shows collaboration, dedication- things you need to be open to when working in the industry.

-I'd also say that trying to narrow down what you're really passionate about doing (for me, 3d animation just fit my heart the best) and learn more about it. Watch youtube videos, follow tutorials. Practice your anatomy, do gesture drawings from life, draw as many hands and feet as you can, lol. All things to help strengthen your skills! Consistency is key!!

I know that's a lot of info, so I just want to reiterate something: I've been at KI for about a year and a half now, and I am still just as passionate about this game as I was beforehand. That passion is one of my greatest assets. WANTING to do what I do for work makes working a lot easier, and produces a better product. If you have a passion, a drive to do something, you can do the damn thing. Making connections/being consistent as an artists can feel wildly overwhelming. But it doesn't have to be. You're worthy of sharing your art and ideas with the world, and people want to hear them. Baby steps! Start small. Heck talking to me already gets your started with networking :D

Arcane s2: ep 1 - 3 reaction

After putting it off for so long, finally started season two! Compiling my liveblogs here so I don’t spam my followers lol

The counselors piss me off honestly. The only ones I have sympathy for are Mel and MAYBE Jayce (Viktor and Caitlyn aren’t part of the council so they don’t count) mfs attack zaun 1000 times but when zaun fights back suddenly they’re horrible creatures.

Oh thank god Vi didn’t accept the enforcer badge just yet. I know she eventually becomes one due to game osmosis, but I think she needs to change too much for the worse for that to happen. And she doesn’t feel like that yet.

The flashback to when Azzi broke the UCLA news to Paige; yeah you ATE that. I know you said you might take inspiration from my suggestion and that’s pretty much how it played out in my mind, only your version was a hundred thousand times better- like the talent is just unmatched.

Paige’s first reaction being “BUT YOU NAMED YOUR DOG STEWIE!!!!” Is so fucking real lmao, I laughed and cried.

Nika standing ten toes down for her twin always, I respect it.

And Jealous Paige? Yeah my favourite trope fr ✊ (also the fact that she already got jealous of carol of all ppl?? lmao, i can't even imagine how she'd react to seeing Azzi with someone that's actually into her 😭)

We're starting this episode with woo hak making me angry. Why are you contacting mok ha when the whole family agrees it's best to leave her out of the messy situation with mr jung? WHY???

... I take back what I just said. At least he's helping her with the press conference so I guess he's not that bad.

The whole press conference scene had me on the edge of my seat. So many conflicting feelings. Mok ha not following the script and trying to defend ran joo no matter what. Yoon ran joo just keeping her head down and accepting any accusation thrown her way. Eun mo rae seeming to side with mok ha and wanting ran joo to pursue her career so she feels better about being compared to ran joo (a desperate has-been singer who can no longer sing). All of that feels like a lot.

Talking about ran joo, it's frustrating to see her deny all of mok ha's wishes because it descredits the chunsam island singer. I understand she's trying to ease the tension but still, part of me feels like it's unfair to contradict mok ha like that. Because, in the end, mok ha will also be ridiculed for her statements.

I don't think it was a good idea for mok ha to participate in the press conference but I commend her will to defend those around her.

I'm glad the reporter let the truth out because now ran joo knows she was manipulated into signing the termination contract. I mean, she did it on her own will but had she known lee seo jun thinks of her that way, she might have thought twice before signing it. I wonder if there's a way she can nullify the contract? I feel for ran joo because she's been through a lot and there aren't many people on her side.

YES RAN JOO!!! Tell him how he would be nothing without you. He deserves it. He's trash, not you.

When I'm telling you I feel for ran joo, the fate of a tree metaphor is what I'm talking about. She's always given and hasn't taken a lot. People are taking her for granted. They milked her fame until the last drop and now she's treated like trash. I really wish there was a way to make her get her revenge. She doesn't deserve that treatment.

The scene between ran joo and her mom = saddest scene of the drama. I shed so many tears 😭😭😭 I'm relieved ran joo knows why her mom calls herself that and that they could talk to each other. This scene was beautiful 💖

So, my fav tropes/plots (with some specific ship related to them):

The 'to be loved is to be changed' kind of trope, which is not really what it's called, but it's like healing from trauma (or anything in general, really) through someone's love and closure (like A gets better cause B is always around) and I'm an absolute sucker for this trope, especially when it's well done and kinda realistic (I love realistic narrations, like teen wolf is supernatural but i love when the writer puts in the realistic aspect of their lives in such a universe). I like this with basically any ship I've ever read so far.

The 'true mates'. I'd go highs and lows to find this kinda trope in a fic, especially when they already kinds fit the naration of the canon or simply fits the dynamics. I love this one with Sterek, to me it's just a lovely way of being in love that makes it all look more and more lovey-dovey. (I know it's not realistc, but nothing is ever one sided, right?)

Angst with happy ending. I can't read angst if there's no happy ending, i would end up crying all day long and the fic would probably be stuck in my head forever. (I read them rarely, after i read one a long time ago it just got in my head and it still makes me cry, it was so beautiful and painful at the same time😭)

Generally, the 'first time' plot is one of the best for me. It could be sexual or not, but i always love readin them. I usually do this with Sterek and Henry and Alex from 'red, white and royal blue'. Warms my heart every time.

Gor the ships, i generally follow the same plots for every ship, like i read all of the above for Sterek (and I also write them myself) but the true mates is mostrly for the ships that ki da fits in my eyes. Like sometimes Hannigram when I'm feeling nostalgic.

For the 'to be loved is to be changed' (and yeah i took it from the tiktok trend but it fits so nicely and every single edit makes me cry) it's my favorite in basically every ship(?).

It just warms my heart cause it fits every single ship that you could think of cause it's basically what love is to its core (at least in my eyes). Like, you love someone and they love you, you two grow together and become someone else (usually a better version of who you already are) and just love each other through the whole progress and keep investing in one another. You decide to change some aspects of yourself (usually something that you don't like as well) to show your partner your love and the effort you put in your relationship.

You saw him move, and then you saw his face. It’s the double-whammy effect of it that got you, isn’t it?

In spirit of full transparency (lol), I debated answering this ask because I like Jungwon a lot so I’m selfish with him. Liked him since he was on I-Land, I even put money down, betting that he was going to debut. And he made me good money by debuting, ranked 1st.

He’s a badass, he's beautiful and intelligent. His ambition is palpable and I can only hope he gets the right support. I think he has flaws (like everyone else in the group) that hopefully he learns to manage better the older he gets. I’m cautiously hopeful about the whole team, but trust his competencies as an idol.

When he performs Jungwon fully commits. Every time. You’ll see it when we watch his cover and fancams. That’s the thing about him that personally reminds me of Jimin, occasionally. He's a perfectionist, has high standards and holds himself to them. He’s competitive, emotionally intelligent, mindful of the team, kind and principled (at least so far), and that’s why he was nominated to be leader despite being the second youngest member. As Heeseung (the oldest) was the only other person nominated by the members, Heeseung declining the position in favour of Jungwon thankfully turned out to be the right choice. Jungwon appears to bear the responsibility well. But he’s also young, he’s got a bit of an ego (understandably lol), and he’s still relatively inexperienced.

So naturally, I’m selfish with him. I’ve also seen him make a lot of people very delulu when he’s barely legal, so I’m cautious on where I talk about him. Some k-pop stans can be weird and you never really know lol.

Anyway, I’m still happy you’re so curious to hear about him. So, sure why not, let’s talk about Jungwon. :)

Something about him just makes me want to do Show and Tell. Like, present him to the class as a pet, curiosity, or marvel. Because I feel he’s so pretty and full of talent, it should be self-evident, leaving nothing for me to really say besides, “Here’s Jungwon.”

I love that you caught his dancing right away. After his voice, his dancing is the next thing that stood out to me during I-Land. He’s incredibly strong in his movements, I think that's why it looks 'sharp'. He's got the strongest popping skills in the group, and is also very fluid. That’s what is reminding you about Jimin with his dancing, I think.

Jungwon dances in such a way that the only right way to watch him dance, is either watching him live or on a very big screen.

The fact he can match and keep pace with Ni-ki says enough, really.

It's best to see him dancing with the rest of his team, in my opinion. It gives one a good appreciation of how well he fits into Enha. So, I'll link their MMA 2022 dance break performance, starts at 4:00. Note the imagery of having him in center for the final part of that dance break where he plays puppeteer.

Pardon my language, but that is insanity. Everything about it. I don't want to be dramatic but the fact Belift/HYBE is having a three year old group do this level of floor work and stunts in their performances is ridiculous. Remember the aerial flips Son Sungdeuk was having Jimin do for something like 3 comebacks? This is like everyone in the group doing something that requires the same focus and energy as aerial flips - everybody in the team, all the time. The talent in that group is mad. The way Belift is moving with them has me a bit worried. I don't want to say scared but it comes close, because of how young they are.
