a/n: hayner is way too underrated, so i wrote something for him!

hayner and you had met during a visit of yours to twilight town and it didn't take long for the two of you to fall head over heels for each other!

however, twilight town wasn't your home. you came from another world and when you had to return back home, hayner and you had promised to stay in contact!

he's been writing your letters almost daily, often attaching pictures of himself with pence and olette! and at some point, there's even this other kid, that shortly hangs out with them…

as much as hayner wants to go and visit you, he knows that's not really an option for him. you're the only one who has the means to come to his world, so all he can do is patiently wait for you to return one day

and when you do return to twilight town, hayner is overjoyed! plus, you manage to catch him off guard too, not even mentioning your surprise visit to him!

he's immediately ready to drop everything for the day and spend his time with you! even skipping classes or work, just to hang out with you!

despite how many letters you two write, hayner still has a lot of stories to tell you! there's never a dull day in twilight town and he needs to tell you about all those new people he met!
