Here's something from the current chapter of VS I'm writing. A soft Solas-Thora moment before things get grim.

One side of his cheek is warmer than the other when he awakens. At first, he confuses it for his own hands pillowing his head, but his fingers curl and flex, unburdened in his lap. He breathes in a perfume of sweat, and the faintest hint of lavender and rose. Peeling his cheek up, he finds the top of Herald’s head had held him upright in his rest.

“My apologies,” he mutters, rubbing feeling back into his face. “Next time, feel free to shrug me away.”

“It’s alright,” Thora says, scratching her own head for what he assumes are similar reasons. “It kinda reminds me of my sister's old cat.”

4. do you like your name?  is there another name you think would fit you better?It’s alright, never met many people named Eric. My middle name is Rutger, and I used to hate it, but now I kinda wish people would call me that instead. I always wanted a cool sounding unique name, and kind of ignored that Rutger is pretty much that. I think it’s because it looks a lot like Rugrats. 14. are you a musician?Yeah, I play the piano, drums, guitar(kind of), flute(don’t own one though), koto(don’t own this either but learned while taking japanese) and I really wanna learn how to play the harp. I also sing a lot. Dunno if I’m any good at that though.

21. do you love easily?I don’t think so, I can count on one hand the amount of people I’ve ever felt “love” for, not including family.28. on a scale from 1 to 10, how hard is it for someone to get under your skin?Everyone that isn’t my bf: Like a 10. I honestly don’t care enough to get worked up over people that try me. I had this crazy old lady attack me over a shopping cart this past week, and I just told her to stop talking, and that I didn’t have time for this, and that was that. Drama just isn’t worth it unless I’m watching someone else’s and cheering it on from the sidelines. Everyone that is my bf which is only one person: An exaggerated 1.
