I know someone on Tumblr posted this but ???? The Star Wars twitter account just posted that the Rebels gang were getting Vader comic variation covers to celebrate 10 years and the video described Kallus' cover as his pre Kalluzeb days.

His pre Kalluzeb days. Not pre spy days or pre alliance days but his pre Kalluzeb days.

What is THAT supposed to mean? Is it just a way of riling up fans(worst timeline)? Bromance? Is that a way of subtle confirmation? Is there something on the horizon?

Idk. Kalluzeb being canon is my wildest dream. It's like the one thing if I could truly ask for anything in Star Wars I would ask for because I think it makes the most sense storywise and I trust Filoni and Steve with it. So I am screaming at this acknowledgement. Also my love for them has withstood the test of time.

Dear Kalluzeb community

First of all, let me tell you all that I’m so thankful to have found this nice internet space. I was not really expecting other people to ship those two idiots as much as I do and seeing all your paintings, writing, etc… it really motivated me to start writing again.

This, combined with poor mental health meant my doctor instructed me to focus on my special interest. Hence the huge amount of Kalluzeb I wrote in the past few months.

Soon I realised I had created a sort of alternate setting, modern universe, anti-capitalist crack fic where Kallus is a tori and Zeb just a poor lad trying his best to survive. I am now deep in a 4 parts fanfic spanning over 10 years of idiots in love but being terrible at it. You might say “Nice ! Give us some Kalluzeb content”. And I’d be more than willing to do it but I’m scared the fic is too dark. Sure, it is overall funny and tongue in cheeks but because of the situation in the UK, if my characters are queers, immigrants, etc, they will face systemic challenges. The list of trigger warnings is getting really long. We speak of deportation, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, chemsex, prison, corporate malfeasance, homelessness, etc… and not like, vaguely mentioned. I’m talking about dialogues with micro aggressions, ODs etc…

So, why am I writing this long ass post?

I am thinking of posting the first chapters in the coming weeks since I’m almost done with them but I would like to confirm if you, potential reader, would prefer to have explicit triggers in almost every chapters or if I should change my plot to only keep the funny stuff? I understand that with the state of the world, reading about hard real topics might not be the mood.

I’m honestly a bit lost with this and would really gain from some direct feedback 😬

Also, I have not used tumblr in more than 10 years so please be nice ahah.

I'm hoping Zeb and/or Kallus shows up in Ahsoka's 2nd season. Can't see why they wouldn't; Ezra is finally back and Zeb would definitely want to see him, and Thrawn is back as well, and Hera and Ezra both will probably be a big part in battling him. Hell, Zeb is in charge of training new recruits, if he doesn't show up I'm calling bullshit.

(Would also be a great opportunity for Disney to confirm Kalluzeb, follow Star Wars Twitter account's example, if ya know what I mean, wink wink, nudge nudge)

I don’t ask for much. All I want is for Ezra to be found and start asking about the Ghost Crew, and ask after Zeb only to be told that he is retired living happily with Alex on Lira San, but he doesn’t know who Alex is so when they tell him they mean Kallus he has the most shocked reaction like when he realised Kallus was fulcrum since his over the top reaction is the same.

I get through each episode of Ahsoka with the thought “Kalluzeb please be confirmed soon, knowing that I might be one step closer to my OTP becoming cannon. Just don’t uncannon it Disney, I would be disappointed if it’s not mentioned but just don’t disprove the ship pls!

WIP Tuesday (F-it)

I'm meant to be working on my Kanera week stuff, but this is what came out when I tried writing, so...enjoy some Kalluzeb Dads content and helping me come up with a name for their daughter.

“Whassat?” she asked, piquing her ears and pointing the lone long finger on her right hand at the top bunk.

“It’s a bunk bed, love,” Zeb explained patiently. “One person sleeps on the top and another person sleeps on the bottom.”

She peered up at the bed curiously.

“Here,” said Zeb, hoisting her up and into the top bunk. Her eyes went wide with excitement. “Watcha think?”

“Dan-dan!” She squealed. “It’s like sleeping in a tree!”

“Sure is, darlin’. Say, did ya know your Uncle Ezra used t’sleep up there?”

“He did?!”

Ezra, perhaps the only other person as capable of driving her parents to exasperation, was the subject of the girl’s constant adoration.

“He did,” Zeb confirmed. “Uncle Ezra slept up top, an’ I slept on the bottom.”

“Where did you sleep, Papa?” she asked, looking at Alexsandr, who had been watching the exchange from across the room.

“I slept on the Glimmer or one of the rooms on base,” he said, walking closer to the bed. “Dan-Dan and I weren’t married yet.”

She looked at them, agog, scarcely able to comprehend a time her parents weren’t together. But as children often do, she changed her course of thought quickly.

“Papa, Dan-Dan! Can I sleep up here tonight?” 

Zeb’s ears perked up in delight while Alexsandr tried to restrain his grin at least a little bit.

Despite being of a species known for its climbing capabilities, [babygirl] was more hesitant than her peers to climb, especially to great heights. The two missing fingers on her right hand lessened her grip strength and the surface area she could use to grab on. She vacillated between burning desire to climb and swing with the other kits and fear of falling and not keeping up. 

Alex had a unique, visceral appreciation for how complex her relationship with her hand – and, by extension, climbing and heights – was. It wasn’t that Zeb wasn’t understanding; he just didn’t have the same experience of living every day in a body that didn’t quite work the way he wanted it to.

All the same, they were both overjoyed at their daughter showing enthusiasm for being up high independently. Of course, they couldn’t act too excited – few things made a child less likely to do something than being asked to by their parents.

My reaction to getting Kalluzeb confirmed or denied will be the same: a lot of screaming, crying, and random posting.

If we get any, and I mean any, indication of Kalluzeb. If it's just acknowledged, just a tiny bit, I will be on the floor sobbing.

So Luna and I. Had an amazing opportunity to go on a trip. To meet THE Steve Blum. Oh my goddess. We had to stand in line for three hours but it was WORTH IT. He was the sweetest man. I was a little nervous about bringing Luna and a print of all my Kalluzeb fanbabies for the autograph. But he was SO sweet about them, he said that Zeb and Alex "make beautiful babies" and Luna was like "looking in a mirror", asked if the kids help with growing Meilooruns in the garden and I was like absolutely they do!!! Steve Blum supports Kalluzeb fanbabies confirmed, this was the validation I needed in my life 😭 He was also so nice to me even with me visibly fanboying like crazy, when I walked up in my Ezra cosplay he put on the Zeb voice and went "I know you! I've missed you!" All my space family feels!!! And when I told him how Star Wars Rebels is such a big part of my life and was a major part of my journey to my coming out as trans he said "Thank you for making me a part of your journey!" Like all my emotions!!! 💙

It was just. An incredible and very special experience and very much worth the wait.

To Convince You That I Love You (A Kalluzeb Fic): Chapter 2

*staring and waving thru the window* I'm really enjoying this fic, it's I think four chapters, so it's already halfway done lol, and it's loads of fun. And speaking of fun Kallus is going to pass out and be sped back to the Ghost for emergency transport to medical facilities!!! Woo-hoo!!! This one's from Zeb's POV, so strap y'allselves in and get ready for him to be completely wigging about what happened to Kallus but also being as gentle as possible when moving him bc I am such a sucker for that. Read on and enjoy!

Zeb heard the explosion and instantly fired the last three shots he needed to finish off the stormtroopers with perfect precision. He sprinted towards the landing pad, fear shooting through him. Come on, Kal, please don’t have been in the blast.

The shuttle was a smoking ruin, the metal buckling against the inferno inside. That agent they had been tracking was dead. There was no way she could have survived.

But Zeb didn’t care about the mission anymore. He filtered out the smoldering pile of rubble and scanned his surroundings for any sign of Kallus.

Finally he saw Kallus lying several yards away from the shuttle, thrown by the power of the blast. Zeb sprinted over, moving faster than he could remember doing in a long time. His palms were sweating and he could hardly feel his legs, he was so terrified. Losing Kallus was…well, it was his personal worse-case scenario.

He knelt down. Kallus’s leg was twisted at an unnatural angle, and there was a piece of metal embedded in his upper arm. Worse, his nose was bleeding heavily, and there were dark bruises around his eyes and behind his ears: sure signs of a head injury. Somehow, though, he was still (barely) awake.

“Something’s not right,” he muttered. He couldn’t seem to focus his gaze on Zeb’s face. “Everything’s…foggy.”

Then his eyes fell shut and his head tipped to one side, the muscles in his neck slack.

Zeb slung his bo-rifle onto his back. There was no good way to pick Kallus up, with one of each limb wounded, so he simply did his best to support Kallus’s legs above the injured joint and thanked his lucky stars that his wounded arm was not the one that ended up held tightly against Zeb’s chest.

Kanan and Sabine had long since cleared out the troopers who had pinned down the Ghost. In fact, Zeb wondered for a moment why they hadn’t bothered reinforcing him and Kallus—but they were both trained soldiers and neither of them had commed for help, so there had really been no reason to worry.

Well, except for the fact that there was.

Zeb climbed aboard the Ghost and found Kanan and the kids debating over a topographic map he didn’t recognize at the holo-table. “There’s an outpost not too far from here, we could make a supply run before returning to base,” Ezra suggested.

“While we have an Imperial agent on board? Not gonna happen,” Sabine said. Zeb noticed that despite her confident tone, she still looked to Kanan for confirmation.

Kanan was saved from having to pick a side when he heard the sound of the ramp closing and turned to look at Zeb. “Ezra, go tell Hera to get the ship moving, now!” he commanded sharply. Ezra was turning pale, having gotten a look at the bloodied condition Kallus was in, but he did as he was told.

Zeb set Kallus down on the floor. “Let me guess: the explosion?” Sabine asked. Explosions were fairly run-of-the-mill for the Rebellion (especially when it came to the Specters) and hearing one in the distance wasn’t necessarily taken as a sign that someone was in trouble.

“Yeah.” Zeb found his throat tight, a pricking sensation he wasn’t used to irritating his eyes. “There were two Imperial fighters. They aimed for him and got the agent’s entire shuttle instead.”

Kanan wrapped his hand around Kallus’s wrist. It wasn’t the standard method of measuring a heartbeat, but his Jedi powers probably made it practical enough.

“We need to get him back to base soon,” Kanan said quietly. “Or he might not make it.”

Zeb paced to the edge of the room and slammed his fist down onto a crate. Kallus was always doing stupid things like this—putting himself in danger, taking too many risks, going way too far. When would enough be enough?

If Zeb had anything to say about it, Kallus would see the light sooner rather than later…if he lived to wake up again.
