Hazbin Rewritten Part 1

I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that it seems like Vivzie abandoned the original premise for Hazbin Hotel in favor of a generic "Good Vs. Evil/Heaven Vs. Hell" plotline.

I’d like to introduce you to my idea that embraces the original Hotel idea! There’s a lot, so I'm splitting this up into 2 parts.

Pilot VAs, designs, and names are a given. Also if I were writing Hazbin, Helluva and Hazbin’s amounts of seasons would flip, with Helluva getting 2, and Hazbin getting 4.

Things picks up where the Pilot left off. Similarly to the trailer, I could still see them making the commercial for the Hotel, but it’s everyone else, and Alastor does the voiceover separately. I imagine Charlie gives him a script to go off of like she does with Angel in the trailer, but he doesn’t follow it, adding his own twist instead. Vaggie reacts similarly to how she does in the trailer when asked about how she likes it, whereas Charlie offers an awkward pained smile and two thumbs up. They have a lot of work to do.

The commercial goes about as well as you’d expect, and they actually manage to get a few patrons! These new folks interact well enough with everyone else, but are put off my Charlie. As it turns out, Charlie has an issue with toxic positivity. While she has good intentions and wants the best for everyone, she doesn’t go about it the best way, constantly encouraging everyone to stay positive when they’re looking for an emotional outlet, sympathy and/or empathy. I like to think Charlie was pretty sheltered growing up, so she doesn’t have a whole lot of experience interacting with others.

This builds to a fever pitch until someone - I like to think it’s Angel after he’s had a hard day of work at the porn studios and wants some alone time - snaps at her and tells her that she’s making things worse for everyone with her toxic positivity. And he isn’t the only one who noticed; Charlie gets into an argument with Vaggie a few days prior as well, so Charlie is in a bit of a slump the whole week.

To top it all off, Charlie has a meeting with heaven again (Yes, I like to think the figures in the opening of the Pilot who Charlie cried to were Adam and Lute) at the end of the week, and things go similarly to in the trailer, except she meets with Sera and Emily instead, who gently, almost in a motherly manner, tell her that while they will watch her career with great interest, they will go through with the cleanse.

OR, another idea I had for how this meeting could go over, is that Sera and Emily strike a deal with Charlie instead; that they will give her a year to redeem at least ONE sinner, and if she doesn’t succeed, they will have to go through with the cleanse.

Charlie returns home defeated.

End of Season 1.

Mitsukou au. Kinda Victorian ghost au. Use as you wish.

-the Minamotos have moved to a new mansion after the mother's death.

- kou meets the one of the maids sons before he goes to boarding school.

-the laters hears a rumor. That a boy died at his mansion. Spoiler alert that was mitsuba.

-later there's rumors that it's haunted. But the Minamoto family doesn't take the rumor seriously because it's mostly spread by servants who knew the boy. They see it as wishful thinking.

- kou comes back after a year or so for summer holidays. He meets this boy again and doesn't know he is dead.

-kou and mitsuba keep meeting and become friends maybe start dating. Teru is a little suspicious of what his brother is doing.

-teru and kou argue. Teru reveals that mitsuba is the dead child.

-the Minamoto family are now trying to exorcise mitsuba. Though they can't find any objects belonging to him or that the mother is willing to give.

-Teru has to steal something belonging to mitsuba. He has to sneak into the servant quarter. Finds Mitsuba camera. Around it there are photos one is of Kou. Teru feels sorry but he knows it's his duty.

-Mitsuba and Kou are talking, maybe a confession. And Mitsuba gets summoned to where the Minamotos are doing the exorcism. Kou runs in as Mitsuba goes to the other. Kou tells Mitsuba he loves him before Mitsuba crosses to the other side. Mitsuba either says he loves him too or he gets interrupted.

-Kou is in massive trouble with his family but they don't do to much to punish him due to him going to school soon. Him and Teru aren't talking. Kou is only really talking to Tiara

-before Kou goes back to school he sees Mitsuba mom. He tells her about his time with Mitsuba and she tells him about Mitsuba growing up. She gives him some of Mitsuba photos though it's not all of them due to her not finding them.

-The morning before Kou goes back to school. Teru goes to him and apologizes. Kou is still mad but Teru gives him the rest of the photos.

- Kou goes back to school but he keeps the photos Mitsuba took.

I have been seeing posts about how a certain frame in the TF2 comics should make heavy and medic hug so-

I always wondered why they don't nickname Chilchuck to "Chil". Because Chilchuck is quite a long name, it's way easier calling him just Chil. And then this.

It's all the opposite of how it would normally work. Usually, people call each other by their first (or second sometimes) names, but when they're called by the full thing... it means either nothing good is happening, or they're being called in a formal way.

Isn't imposible to think that the party actually called him Chil, since it's his first name and a nice nickname for him. In fact, they probably did, and Chilchuck told them they shouldn't call him that and explained why. They stopped calling him Chil, and accepted calling him Chilchuck for the rest of their lifes, apparently. Actually, we don't see anybody calling him like that until...

Laios tries to get his attention with something that normally would. Calling him his first name, something that he told them specifically not to do doesn't even makes him flinch. And then he's sure that Chilchuck is out of it and proceeds to intervene.

It's such a subtle detail, I don't remember if they call him "Chil" on other panels, if they do, reblog with evidence so we have all the oficial Chil moments here.

Hazbin Rewritten Part 2

Season 2 picks up right where Season 1 ended. Except that during her depressive slump, Charlie has an idea; redeeming sinners doesn’t have to be in a literal context, it can be figurative. So she devises another plan; she decides to improve the living conditions in Hell as best she can, in hopes that sinners will figuratively redeem themselves by being nicer to one another. In hopes that maybe that will be enough.

The Hotel is a safe place for sinners and demons looking for help, but not wanting to make that leap by themselves. She also vows to improve herself and how she interacts with others, being more mindful of their emotions.

I could also see Charlie reaching out to some of the sins for help, Asmodeus and Beelzebub in particular, in hopes that they will sponsor her hotel, if not put in a few good words at least. Maybe even going so far as to meet in person with them to do so.

She reconciles with Vaggie and Angel and anyone else she may have unintentionally hurt. Things basically go like in the 4Chan leaks for the original plan for Hazbin episodes, with lots of supporting character shenanigans. Charlie's new friends chip in and help as best as they can. For example, he’s by no means a therapist, but Angel could provide comfort and empathy to victims of abuse, and Fat Nuggets acts as an emotional support animal. No Huskerdust (Sorry!), Husk acts as the disgruntled, ‘asshole with a heart of gold’ dad to the gang. (Think Grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls)

Some Extras include:

I want to bring back some characters that either appeared or were stated to appear later in the series, but seem to have been dropped, such as Baxter, Crymini, and Mimzy. (I saw that she’s in the trailer, I’m just not sure what role she plays in the series), as well as everyone’s favorite news anchors Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench.

I could see Baxter and Sir Pentious being rivals at first, what with their ties to science, and constantly trying to one up each other with various machines and inventions, but eventually teaming up and causing chaos together at the hotel.

Also, Lucifer and Lilith are a loving couple like Gomez and Morticia.

Lucifer is a good dad who loves Charlie, but wishes she’d toughen up, so when the world fights, she fights back.

Charlie is like her dad, but closer to her mom.

Lilith is a busy opera singer. There were some posters of Lilith in the pilot that made her seem like she’s a singer or performer of some sort, and I want to keep that aspect. This is also why Lilith isn't returning Charlie's calls.

As Gravity Falls reenters the void, and the inevitably of fanfiction begins to recirculate, there is a comment I fear I must send out to the general public.

As a trans man who gets, like, -1 representation in shows that aren’t explicitly about queer people, I often will latch onto characters that inexplicably have The Trans (TM) written into their bones, which includes Dipper Pines. And, as one might expect, I turn to my silly little A03 account to get my fix of representation and enjoyment of many a trans dilemma. Unfortunately, this is where my qualms get given the spotlight.

This is a generalization, but it seems as though every single godforsaken fic about trans!Dipper (I see this in the Spider-Man fandom a lot too, but that’s a conversation for a different day) he loses all his unhingedness, all his insanity, and is boiled down to a weak and sad little uwu trans boy who can’t handle his own dysphoria and falls apart at every slight inconvenience?

You’re telling me DIPPER, the same man who got called weak one (1) time and then disappeared into the woods for a solid 12 hours and came back half naked and rambling about positive vs toxic masculinity and manotaurs, is going to get misgendered and fall completely and utterly apart? You seriously think he’s going to have a run in with somebody who tries to bully him for being trans and he isn’t going to read them to filth? Are we forgetting that this is the same man who spent a whole episode learning about how to live and let live and then STILL told Pacifica her family was a sham with the mic-drop line of “deal with it”?????

Like good lord, please give this man some credit. I’m not saying he can’t have panic attacks, or trauma, or be treated differently by certain people, but it is the year of our lord and savior 2024 and we are STILL infantilizing trans men in fanon versions of media???

All I’m saying is if Mabel gets to keep her unhinged characteristics, you gotta let Dipper keep his too. Let Dipper punch a transphobe, as a treat.
