 To finally wrap things up, here is the final Creeptober Artwork. Originally, Slipped through the cracks would have appeared here in the original prompt list. But due to the layout of the prompt list, I accidentally switched the two. But what the heck. After all, 31 artworks are 31 artworks - no matter in which order. So Just behind the Corner is a Hound of Tindalos. These hellhounds have been described to me as dimension-shifting, misshapen, disturbing creatures that always ambush their victims around the next corner. Once again on point for the prompt x3 And so Inktober comes to an end. A little late, but complete. Must do this more often with such themes. Lovecraft's more abstract descriptions in particular give such artistic license with these critters. It was a lot of fun to give each of these creatures their own touch ^^

Whenever life throws you into a challenging situation or some pressing need comes your way or some unexpected hardship breaks open, then remember that God is hiding somewhere nearby to make a grand entry. Let's look into that grand moment when Moses split the sea. Had God willed, Moses could have found some safe passage to escape the city but instead God first threw him into an intensely locked situation with the army of Pharaoh behind and the red sea ahead. Caught between two, death was certain and it was a dead end. This situation was needed. That's precisely when a miracle would make any sense. And so did it happen that not only did Moses escape and pass through the split sea but the enemies were submerged and killed in it thereafter. So don't get panicked next time life throws a challenge at you. It is just a sign that God is somewhere in the nearby corner, creating just the right situation to make his grand entry. Trust!

Troy had expected that. Of course he had. His father didn’t take kindly to any sign of his sons independence. Nor did he appreciate being blindsided like this. Maybe if Troy had begged and bartered like Jake had when he’d went off to college it would’ve been differently. Wouldn’t make his father feel insignificant.

But then, this wasn’t about his father. For once, this was about Troy.
