It’s not ‘Just Music’…..

…..maybe originally, when the only music was live music, it was about the visual too, but with the invention of recordings it became just music…..and solely judged on the voices of the performers and sounds coming from the instruments on the disc, tape, or radio…..

…..and then somebody decided that they could probably make lots of cash if it became more visual again…..and started making music into movies…..and we became enthralled by the spectacle as well as the sound….

…..there were whole shows dedicated to music videos, they even made a channel dedicated to just the vids but they don’t like to talk about that now…..where did all the music go?…..

…..so what’s up next? A bunch of songs that they spent a lot of time and effort making a mini movie for your cinematic pleasure…..
