I think there's a kind of fear that always comes with being in love. When letting someone else hold so much of you all at once. They could let you fall at any second if they wanted to. So how the hell do you get over that fear? Trust that they won't let you go, that they will hold you up, the same way that you hold them? And then I thought about a hotel on Mars a long time ago. A place where, to be honest, I let Nureyev fall. No wonder he was scared, no wonder I was too. But how the hell are we supposed to get past that?

There’s a lot of extra little lore bits I would love to expanded on in zero escape (maybe light novels?) but god do you know how badly I want to see Sigma’s years creating the nonary game on the moon. Him suddenly being thrusted into this position despite only thinking himself as a college student who likes to goof off and sleep around. Meeting Diana, a person he has only ever unknowingly heard once, but a person who knows him very well. The years they spent on the moon before Diana succumbed to her illness. Looking over at the pods containing Alice, Clover, and especially Phi, knowing how long it’ll be before he sees Phi again, and when the three of them will finally wake up. Cloning himself into a younger version of himself, remembering what he’ll later do to Kyle. Creating Luna, a robot based on Diana, and watching sadly as Kyle could not see her as a true mother due to being a robot. Meeting up with Akane again, and finally settling their plan together, hoping this time, they can save six billion people. I would kill to see this as a light novel do you understand.

you know what really gets me? the way that in Juno Steel and the Things We Buried, Nureyev wants to be That Bitch SOOOO BADDDD

he's assigning Juno the role of "the boyfriend character", which is funny on its own bc he's the titular character of the whole damn podcast, but the ONLY REASON Nureyev was able to make it on the Carte Blanche was because he knew Juno

So I'm finally working on my ac fic again, and I'm working on the scene after the temple when desmond is in the hospital, and Bill finds out his son is probably gonna die, except I wrote the doctor to have "terrible bedside manners" so this is about how this entire interaction went

Bill: "IS MY SON ALIVE, IS HE OKAY, PLEASE TELL ME HES OKAY, I CANT LOSE HIM AGAIN PLEASE

Doctor: "um... yeah your son is alive ig, but his entire body is so fucked it's basically being held together by some duct-tape and prayers.... so not sure how long that's gonna last"

Bill: "MY SON IS DYING NOOOOOO" *cue ugly sobbing and boohooing*

Doctor *awkwardly pats shoulder* "That's rough, buddy."
