Summary: Emily has been in love with Aubrey ever since they met. However, she never found the courage to tell her and it's been eating her alive. The solution to her problem? Writing a song about Aubrey. She hopes that's enough for her to express her feelings and for Aubrey to take the hint.
Inspired by Hailee Steinfeld's song "Starving"
Notes: For @forthosebelow.
I'm obsessed with Starving and as I was listening to it repeatedly, this idea came.
This fic has been in my Google Docs for three weeks. But I thought today was the perfect day to post it.
Why?
Well, because it's my best friend's birthday 🥳 . @forthosebelow is the biggest Hailee and Junksen shipper I know, so this fic is my birthday present to her. 😇

Have you ever watched Gokaiger
....Ngl, surprised to get a super sentai ask lol.
But uhhh, sadly no. I do know from research, it was the sentai that Super Megaforce took footage from, and also is pirates themed which like....pirate theme, my beloved. Like, I do wanna sit down and watch sentai eventually though, think I've tried before with Juken Sentai Gekiranger (sentai that Jungle Fury took footage from, if anyone's curious), but have to find time to watch sentai nowadays....or just watch anything, lmao, but probably will add Gokaiger to that list, since I was very ehhhh with Super Megaforce, so would be fun to see the sentai at least.
#like i tried with junken when i discovered sentai first time#but think back then i gave up as i struggle to sit still#plus i was using a laggy as fuck website....#but i will probably try again at some poit#aka list of sentais i wanna try at least...

5) Our Sister (Nee-chan no Koibito)
Adachi Momoko (Arimura Kasumi) is an outgoing 27 year old who lost her parents when she was in high school. She gave up college to work and support her three younger brothers who are now 20, 17, and 14 year old respectively.

6) Love That Makes You Cry (Itsuka Kono Koi wo Omoidashite Kitto Naite Shimau)

Mashiba often clashes with Fujime over their opposing lifestyle and beliefs, each thinking the other way of life and thinking is ridiculous, Mashiba being a social media addict and Shun being a minimalist who is totally offline.
8) Examination’s Cinderella (Junken no Cinderella)
Tooru Igarashi (Kotaro Koizumi) is a preparatory school teacher with charisma, who often gets his students into prestigious Universities. But recently, his life falls apart and he loses his students, causing him to go into heavy drinking.

She attends a company party and drinks with part-time employee Yuto Tanokura (Sota Fukushi). Through the evening, Hanae becomes drunk and passes out. When she wakes up, Hanae finds Yuto Tanokura sleeping next to her.
Meanwhile, a CEO of a food company located in the same building as her company, begins to pursue her. Hanae feels lost and confused as she just went from single to someone who has two men who are interested in her.
10) Heaven and Hell : Soul Exchange (Tengoku to Jigoku: Psychona 2nin)
Ayako Mochizuki (Haruka Ayase) is a 35-year-old detective. She is a hard worker and seeks out justice ruthlessly, but she lacks flexibility. She pursues her current murder suspect, Haruto Hidaka (Issey Takahashi) mercilessly.
But just as she was about to arrest him under the full moon, something supernatural occurred, when they swop bodies as she wakes up in his body, about to be arrested by the suspect who is now in her cop body.
It’s a suspenseful and comedic (at times) thriller as the two tries to outsmart and outdo each other, before their bodies are switched back. As Ayako tries to find out the reason for the mysterious switch, she learns something about him.

DEADLY WOMEN DAILY: MARTHA NEEDLE
Meet Martha Needle. She was an Australian woman born in the 1800’s. She grew up in a time where life was very hard for women, yet she still managed to make herself a loving wife and a nurturing mother who devoted herself to her family. At least that’s what she wanted everyone to think. Let’s begin with her story.
WHO WAS MARTHA NEEDLE?
Martha Needle (born Martha Charles) was born on April 9th, 1863, in Morgan, South Australia. Martha had a very rough life when she was a child, and her misfortune only followed her into adulthood. Martha’s father died when she was very young, and her mother, Mary Charles, remarried to a man named Daniel Foran in 1870, and had two more children together. The family struggled with poverty and lived in a small two bedroom home, and inside the household was very toxic. Her mother was abusive and would often beat her with sticks and whipped by ropes. Things became worse for Martha when her step father Daniel began sexually abusing her when she was twelve. Martha wanted to change her life and get away from the darkness within her home, and found a job as a housekeeper when she was 13, and permanently moved out. When she was 18 she married a man named Henry Needle, and together they had three daughters, Mabel, Elsie, and May. Their life was sunshine and rainbows for a while, but after the family moved to Melbourne in 1885, their relationship began to crumble. Martha was a friendly and outgoing woman who was very beautiful, often getting the attention of other men. Henry however, was very shy, jealous, with anger management problems. His jealousy and frustration towards Martha resulted in him becoming abusive, and he began to beat her, often using slabs of wood. She left her abusive household when she was a teenager, just to enter into another abusive situation. Her mental health began to deteriorate even more, but she never had the proper help or support.
MARTHA SNAPPED
On February 23rd, 1885, shortly after her third birthday party, Martha’s baby girl Mabel had passed away after suffering from a short illness. The doctor said she died from an infectious disease that was going around. Martha had tons of support from her family, friends, and neighbors. They felt so heartbroken for Martha, who seemed to be so depressed and suffering after the passing of her child. What they didn’t know, however, was that poor baby Mabel was fed rat poison by her own mother. But no one suspected Martha of a thing, not even when tragedy struck again just four years later, when her husband Henry passed away. Just like Mabel, Henry became violently sick, couldn’t eat, and was throwing up constantly. His “sickness” lasted three weeks before he passed away. Once again, Martha wasn’t suspected of a thing, even though the only things Henry was really consuming was milk and brandy that was given to him by his supposedly loving, nurturing wife. Henry’s death was ruled to be caused by subacute hepatitis.
Martha now only had two children left, Elsie and May. However, that number would soon dwindle down to one, as her 6 year old Elsie became sick and passed away, just under a year after Henry’s passing. If that wasn’t bad enough, her youngest child, cute little May, followed her sister shortly afterwards. Martha again got a lot of support in her community, including the support of her new fiance, Otto Junken. However, not everyone thought Martha was just some innocent woman with a terrible string of bad luck. Otto’s family were very suspicious of Martha, as they found all these deaths in her family in such a short amount of time to be very peculiar, and they tried to persuade Otto from marrying her. Otta should’ve taken the warning from his family seriously, as Martha ended up poisoning and killing his brother, Louis. However, the doctor suspected that he had passed away from Typhoid Fever.
Otto’s third brother Herman, however, knew something had to be wrong, and he strongly suspected Martha of poisoning Louis. But his suspicions only became stronger when he himself became violently sick and went to the doctor. The doctor became suspicious as well and ended up testing it, and found traces of arsenic. He thankfully survived and went to the police and told them what he knew, and together they came up with a plan to catch Martha in the act. Herman went to Martha’s home and asked her to make him some lunch, and the police hid outside. When Martha placed a hot cup of tea in front of him, he took a sip and immediately knew what that bitter taste was. He got up, blew his whistle, and inside the police ran. Martha was now arrested for Herman’s attempted murder.
A PERMANENT END TO THE STRING OF TRAGEDIES
After Martha was arrested, the court ordered the bodies of Louis, Henry, and all three children to be exhumed, and all five of the bodies had arsenic in their system. Martha’s first child, Mabel, had the least amount of arsenic in her system, but it was still enough to kill such a small child. Martha was charged for all five murders, along with the attempted murder of Louis. Even with all of the hard evidence, Martha pleaded not guilty, and even up to her death she swore she never did anything to anyone. The trial lasted three days and was found guilty of all charges, and was sentenced to death. She told her family and friends not to grieve too much for her. Martha was executed in October 1894. Her last words being, “No, sir. I have nothing to say.”
WAIT… NOT SO PERMANENT AFTER ALL
Martha wasn’t the last person in her family to commit murder. Just three decades later, her nephew, Alexander Lee, copies his aunt’s murders by murdering his own wife and three of his seven children, killing them with poison. Alexander was hanged in the same place as his aunt Martha, in the Adelaide Gaol.

Naruto re-read XI
Chapters covered: 73- 81 Ninth Volume of the manga
Site used: https://manga4life.com/manga/Naruto (official translation of the manga)
Disclaimer: This is intended as a list and simple observations of the topics that particularly interested me in the aforementioned chapters, in that sense, do not expect a linear -or totally deep- analysis.
Tumblr’s update doesn’t allow me to attach more than 10 pictures, therefore, all of them will be LINKED. Apologies.
119) Okay? But Ino actually did make Sakura withdraw???? And Hayate casually ignored it??? (talked a little more here)
120) Naruto influences everyone around him because, apparently, Sakura can do nothing if there isn’t a man guiding her -except maybe climb a three, so.
121) This panel gives me life.
122) Temari, as I’ve said before, was cruel towards Tenten -who was at that point fainted. This isn’t even fueled because they’re planning to invade Konoha -she has displayed this exact personality before. I’m not particularly saying that Temari is bad, just that she isn’t the nice girl some of her fans claim, to think that she’d be friends with every Konoha leaf kunoichi just because she married Shikamaru is both false, and mistreatment to Temari’s canon characterization.
123) Lee literally attacked Temari, and she was the one who stopped him. Hayate did nothing, despite being the proctor, and Gai did nothing either -simply jumping down after Temari stopped Lee’s kick. (Hayate is a good proctor solely for a shy Hyuga heir it seems.)
124) I’ve made a post about it, but I’ll add something here for good measure as well: The only reason Sakura was able to tie with Ino was because of Naruto -there’s literally no other reason. She even admits it.
125) Although, logically, they’re the only ones who have seen his growth, literally no one but his team thinks Naruto is good enough to beat Kiba -even Lee (who fought him before) thinks he isn’t that lame.
126) Naruto’s fight style is rather… let’s call it, not exactly suicid*l, but close. He allows Kiba to punch him to see what type of strength he has -of course, he has Kurama that will heal him, so his fighting style complements that technique; but instead of using a strategy to see his opponent’s strength and weaknesses as Sasuke would do, he literally uses his body as a tool to measure other people’s strengths.
127) Hyorogan it’s a pill that allows whoever takes it to double their quantity of chakra. Their bust a soldier’s energy allowing them to fight for three days straight without needing to rest -as Chöji explains.
128) Naruto can think of a good strategy to fight two opponents that are able to overwhelm him -even tho, in the end, this particular plan fails, he can overcome it by using Kiba’s attack to his advantage. Everyone is surprised by it, even Ino, who also tricked her opponent to make them believe something while they were skimming something else.
129) Neji calls Hinata “Lady-Hinata”, always, while Hinata calls him “Neji big brother”, despite being on bad terms -to say the least. Listen, I won’t be doing an analysis of those panels because it just enrages me.
*proceeds to do an analysis anyway*
130) Neji is called the “Greatest genius in Hyuga clan history”. Not only he can see the Keirakukei (Chakra’s flow system) but also the Tenketsu (chakra points that when hit it halts the chakra flow of that specific point), meaning: Every single one of Hinata’s hits had no chakra on them because Neji blocked her Tenktesus before she was able to land a single hit, so every time she touched him, it meant nothing because she lost the capacity to perform Junken (Gentle Fist) that requires chakra.
131) There’s something that needs to be said, Naruto’s constant projection of his own struggles on others, and his need to constantly interfere in affairs as to be noted (also his hate towards those recognized as “genius” when it comes to Neji) drives him to both interrupt Sakura and Hinata’s fight. In the former case, he helps his comrade; in the second case, his actions almost kill Hinata; I’ll explain this quickly: Hinata hasn’t withdrawn even tho Neji tells her to -therefore, the fight continues. When Naruto interrupts Hayate, who’s about to finish the match (and since Hayate said nothing still), the fight continues. Neji attacked Hinata because Hayate didn’t stop the match yet -nor repeated himself, it was when he saw that Neji would kill her (something that, might I add, was permitted) that he decided to intervene. Furthermore, Naruto puts on his shoulders the weight of “avenging” Hinata (not because of how precious Hinata is to him but rather, what she signifies, since Neji and Hinata’s dynamic is -superficially- similar to Naruto’s dynamic with Sasuke before his teammate recognized his strength). Kishimoto made Neji comment on Hinata’s privilege status when every jönin jumped to save her (when it's something they did not for anyone else, nor before or after) because he wanted to make it clear.
132) So, Kurenai, aren’t people allowed to kill their opponent in these fights? Why are you so upset about Neji hurting Hinata then? Shino blew up a kid’s arms and you just smiled. I love double standards.
133) Thank god that’s over because I literally wanted to punch Naruto so badly.
134) Sorry but I just love the fact that Team 10 literally gives a fuck of what happened between Neji and Hinata, they’re joking around and Asuma was like, calmly smoking while Troy burned downstairs (wonder if the fact that he’s Hiruzen’s kid has something to do with his decision not to move, Kakashi -who also had nothing to do, jumped right in).
