PJM2 is coming
MUSE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I literally cannot contain my excitiement.
Sitting her, at work may I say, putting these words on paper, so to speak, because f***ing hell, wtf JM?
Where to start?
The colour concepts? The choice of name? Choice of font (That JM popping to eye)? The flower? The links to TTU (notes sheet and flower)? The whole play with Closer than this? The dropped lyrics?
This man is a friggin genius (not that we didn't know this already)...
There is so much to talk about, and he hasn't even started with the promotions, and we haven't even seen the concept photos or the album and the songs. Name, colours, 2 lines of lyrics and we have our hands full already. They certainly know what they are doing.
Before I jump in, I want to, once again, state very loudly and clearly that everything written here are my opinions, which are based on what we've been handed so far, and could change the more we are shown.
So, let's get it...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
JM fetching this from the purple locker (which we don't see are purple off the bat and only when the lights turn on). Notes for The Truth Untold.
His wittle thumb with his crescent moon.
Tumblr media
The notes title : La lettra - The letter. Hmm... interesting.
And then this:
Tumblr media
We have the flower:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and this that makes me believe that yes indeed, it is the silhouette of a Smeralso.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some of this I am yet to see where is going. like the referencing of "the letter", The truth untold, the flower... (she says, all while thinking of the choice this Festa to stream LY Seoul final with said song and the changes that JM and JK chose to make to it)...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All that and more in one little short clip.
And then we have that little 'chat' opened up by BH, and those lyrics. Oh, those lyrics.
Tumblr media
All references that indeed can be connected with army. I mean, that's what JM is king of.
All also a clear reference to a one Jeon Jungkook, if you are only willing to look and see.
Rain
Snow
Crying
We have this:
Tumblr media
Which they have BOTH chose to bring up once again in 2023, JK happening to do so during JM's Face promos, not to mention the rain reference in SNTY (and of course, goes without saying Still with you, but that's back in 2020, while they have both managed to bring it up and reference it once again in 2023).
Remember this?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, and what about this?
And then we have these:
Remember JM tearing up after winning MMA for BS&T ?
youtube
JM getting emotional and crying only followed by JK tearing up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
*If you haven't seen this one yet, go watch the full live.
And who can forget JK during MOTS ONE as well, seeing JM crying, distress clearly showing on his face, just waiting for the moment he can go and comfort JM.
If these are actual lyrics for a song to come or lyrics that were dropped, one thing we know, and that these words, these lines, they were written by JM, and he made a clear choice to share them with us.
And in doing so, sorry, I'm still not believing this all while sitting here gushing and knowing this was coming (no, I didn't know this specifically was coming, but the feeling that they were going big or going home, that I've had ever since July 2023... took some time and many tribulations, but we are getting there folks). Sidetracked as I always am, lol.
Back on track.... in doing so, JM is basically standing on a rooftop screaming at the top of his lungs:
Tumblr media
Not 1, not 2, but 3 JK references in that little shared piece of lyrics clearly written by JM, for an album we are yet to see and hear.
Anyone, and I mean anyone that is a BTS army, that has seen original content, that has followed their Twitter account or seen older tweets, that are open and willing to see it, will KNOW that these lyrics are JAYKAY!!!!!
And let me backtrack a second here...
Cause I did mention that these references could be understood as if they are made for army, right?
So yeah. Army references or JK references? I am going to say both, leaning very much to the JK side of it. Cause that's how they do it. Time after time after time.
Let's mention the colour choices as well.
We have the background colours.
Tumblr media
We have the yellow.
Tumblr media
And then we have the album concepts.
2 concepts.
Blooming
Tumblr media
and Serenade.
Tumblr media
Which happens to be Yellow, same colour threaded through Serendipity.
Tumblr media
And we even have purple thrown in there too.
Tumblr media
Notice how all the lockers are painted purple. The colour of army you may say, but also JK's colour (so again, army and JK?).
Tumblr media
And he's pulling out the music sheet from this purple locker.
Those lockers representing his inspiration for his music perhaps?
Giving us these lyrics, then telling us the album is called Muse (or telling us the name of the album and it's meaning and then dropping those lyrics, take your pick regarding the timing, cause basically, same same), showing us the music being extracted from those purple lockers... ya think his muse is that entity he's talking about in those lyrics perhaps (even more so if we see the references as both for army and JK)?
Rhetorical question, btw.
And then we have the mint green.
Tumblr media
Perhaps this is what JM was talking about when he told us in his birthday live, if memory serves me right, about going to the starting point, or more so starting from the beginning trying to figure out himself as an artist?
Also, cannot help but think of this image here:
Tumblr media
I cannot wait to see his concept photos, and where this is all going.
We talked about JK being so loud during 2023 (well, he's had his super loud moments before that, but 2023 and his lives were smoking). And JM, well it felt (and I say felt, cause it's not really true, and I'll explain why) was quieter, more subdued, especially during JK's Golden promotions.
But here's the thing.
JM and JK have their own special oh so different ways of being loud and showing us themselves (and it shows even more so seeing that JK, for whatever reasons he had for it, did not write his songs for Golden - not saying he did not have influence on the lyrics or choice of songs with lyrics he wanted). JK did it through his choices in his photo shoots and styling for his songs and album. He did it with his lives and his total fanboying over JM. And JM, he does it through his art, which includes also but not only his lyrics.
Those two are both loud as fuck. And JM, well if these sneak lyrics are a promo of more to come (which, they probably are seeing that we have Face to fall back on as an example), then he's as loud as a frigging foghorn.
And last but not least, before I go:
Lookie here...

We all know TKK were cut from the company's official content, but it seems like they were never really apart. Do you know any specific instances besides Grammy 2020 proving they were close in 2019-20?
Hi anon!
So there’s quite a bit of footage from that time that to me shows they are just fine. @taekooktimeline by Kayla will give you a lot of those moments chronologically.
I’ll show a few I find particularly indicative of them being close despite what the general narrative is.
youtube
This fansign moment. Tae moves right into Jk’s space, which to me seems like he’s looking for comfort. This is such a couples move to me, where the one will find a sense of protection with the person trusts. Jm is right next to Tae. But mostly, it’s done in such an automatic way, he barely seems to think about his movement, all that seems to go through his mind is something alike ‘Jk.. safe space’. There’s more moments from that fansign that to me show that they are connected and not awkward. Shoutout to Jk’s flirty looks!
youtube
youtube
There’s the Japanese bbq interview throughout which Tae and Jk are physically connected and interacting freely with Tae choosing Jk to turn to and not Jm repeatedly.
youtube
This live Jk did which, aside from tkk fandom interpretations, shows that Tae and Jk spend time together.
youtube
Tae knowing how to calm Jk.
*jumping to 2020 because this is getting long*
youtube
I mean, Tae and Jk at GDA was something else. No way those two men weren’t close at that time. Tae was struggling, Jk was a huge source of comfort by keeping an eye on him and keeping him close. None of that was fanservice, I think it’s an insult to their humanity to make it out like that was wat is was. I don’t even care if people believe they are together or not, but to say they weren’t close is just denial imo.
During Festa Jk described Tae as his ‘commonality’ which I don’t think is something he would do had they not been close.
ITS has already been widely discussed on here.. the focus mostly being the talk ofcourse. The wider narrative is that Tae and Jk fixed what was wrong during that talk and afterwards they went pretty much back to normal. To me that makes no sense. Because we can clearly see that they were already hanging off each other and sitting no-space-wise and searching each other out before that talk happened. If there had been a sense of distance between them it would have been minor and not worthy of having been portrayed the way it was during ITS. If there had been distance they would have needed more than a day to go from feeling awkward-ish to full on cuddling in bed. Tae going to Jk’s bed after waking up wasn’t an odd thing for them. Jk wasn’t surprised at all. So it was either scripted to get the point of reconciliation across (and if so.. why was that scripted and not the talk?) or it was a natural thing for them to do and we saw Tae going to Jk for a cuddle and a sleep with their bodies intwined like it was second nature. (Gosh I could rant about the its talk for days 😂😂 i annoys me to no end).
During ITS when Tae and Jk work on Jk’s abs, Jm knows exactly what happens and is not surprised.. indicating they do this more often.
And after ITS things basically went the way they go now.
But mostly, all throughout the years you will find that their body language is constantly that of two people that are close. They lean in towards each other more than they do towards the other members, they search to stand aside each other more, and when they are next to each other they are often connected in some way or will find a moment to do so. This has always been this way. Tae and Jk together aren’t usually the point of focus, but in the background they are definitely together a lot.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" will conclude its 6.5-year run in September. With just 5 chapters left, author Gege Akutami says, "It's a satisfying (probably) finale."
On the 19th, Shueisha announced that the manga "Jujutsu Kaisen" by Akutami Gege will conclude in issue 44 of "Weekly Shonen Jump," set to be released on September 30th. With five chapters remaining, the series will come to an end after six and a half years since its serialization began in March 2018. Akutami commented, "We are working hard to create a final chapter that will (probably) satisfy many readers." Akutami mentioned during the Jump Festa 2024 stage event at the end of 2023 that "This will probably definitely be the last Jump Festa while Jujutsu Kaisen is still being serialized," indicating that the story is expected to be completed in 2024.
With five chapters remaining, Akutami stated, "The story will end in five more chapters. I'm only able to conclude the story as I envisioned thanks to the support and cooperation of all our readers. Thank you! We are working hard to create a final chapter that will (hopefully) satisfy as many people as possible who have supported Jujutsu Kaisen. So everyone, please forgive us!"
Additionally, as a countdown to the final episode, a project to release 245 chapters for free on Shonen Jump+ and Zebrack has started today, the 19th. "Jujutsu Kaisen" began its serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in March 2018. The story is a dark fantasy where high school student Yuji Itadori enters a world of battles involving curses after unsealing a powerful "cursed object." The manga has sold over 90 million copies in total. The TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021, gaining significant popularity, followed by a theatrical anime released in December 2021. The second season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2023. A sequel, "Jujutsu Kaisen: Death and Retribution," has also been announced for production.

Just to lighten the mood!! Dunno if you’ve been on twitter but it’s so nice to see jikook-related stuff get a lot of engagement now :)))
It’s so funny seeing them get traction when the jikook moments this year aren’t even as ~out there as like, 2018-2020.
Could it be that people have actually realized just how close they are even when on hiatus??? Jk’s lives, jm’s comments and all that. Or maybe there were sane tkkrs who jumped ship after taennie was flaunting their relationship. Or less people are scared of appreciating jikook because tkkrs are literally everyone’s enemy and laughingstock now.
Look at these!!

I wonder how long until these people start to realise how many of these jokes involve Jimin 🤔 I've only seen them doing Minimoni and now this one. But they still don't see it? Okay then.

Gege Akutami did say in Jump Festa 2020 that out of Gojo and the first years either:
Only one will die
Only one will live
But what he should have said was, “I’m killing off the only character who could stop Sukuna and he will take over the world. So actually, out of Gojo and the first years the entire world, only one will live and it’s Sukuna.”
Yeah, I heard about that! At this point, the only ending I want is one where Sukuna destroys the entire world and he’s the only one alive like you said lmaoo.
I’ve got thiisssssss 🤏🏼 much faith in Gege’s ability to give me a satisfying end to Sukuna’s character because at this point, anyone beating him would feel cheap. Like how are we supposed to believe anyone can actually beat him when Gojo Satoru couldn’t??
I’m officially pro Sukuna ending the world bc idk how tf else this story can end.

I mean when it comes to Gojo being a mentor character means he pretty much co-signed his own death certificate
So did everyone else involved in this series, both staff and fandom. I mean, did everyone consciously ignored the "everyone will die" part of Jump Festa 2020?
Tumblr media
I will always share this print to those who said that "didn't knew" and "had no idea". The red flag was there when Junpei, a depressed and grieving boy, was murdered and effectively denied of a chance in healing and character development; you all just chose to ignore it.
Where did the messages of hope and resilience in Shounen have gone? Where did the adventurous spirits and boundless energy have gone? Where did the character development and the love and respect for the devoted fans have gone?
At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if JJK ended with Getou succeeding in his genocidal crusade and murdering everyone who isn't a Sorcerer, or with Sukuna enslaving the human race and starting a new era of chaos and bloodshed (or with Yuuji commiting suicide in order to stop him/because he couldn't deal with Survivor's Guilt).
There's a reason why I immediately dropped Shonen Jump for good once Haikyuu!! ended its serialization and became publicly shounenphobic.

This week's author's comment apparently sparked yet another wave of uproar in the JJK fandom. What's new with that fandom overreacting every week, tell me? [I used "that" because I'm in Gege Akutami's fandom, not JJK hewhewhew.] But seriously now, I don't understand why the community needs to react in such a manner AS IF it's the first time they're hearing about Gege wanting to end the series this year, precisely in 2023. The cat first mentioned it in an interview with Mando Kobayashi in 2021; he said the series might be over in two years, i.e. 2023, [although it was also reiterated that one doesn't have to believe a mangaka's words].
Tumblr media
Video source: Waya
But then, just recently during the Jump Festa Super Stage last December, he technically gave us an update (which coincides with his previous statement AND goal of ending the manga in 2023) and asked us that we stay with him for *probably* another year, i.e. EOS in 2023.
Tumblr media
Might I also remind everyone that Gege declared he already had the JJK ending planned as early as 2020? In the character databook that was released sometime in 2019, he claimed that Megumi's fate has already been decided on, but later in the 2021 interview with Mando Kobayashi, he changed his statement and stated that both Megumi's and Yuuji's conclusion are done up, but Sukuna's ending is still up in the air.
Tumblr media
Original tweet: Kaikaikitan
Tumblr media
Video source: Waya
While there is of course a chance that he's just trolling with us all, it could be true. And as far as I'm concerned, I personally don't think it a bad thing if he prefers to conclude the series early, or even later than he had originally planned. It's up to him, really, I'll just go with the flow. I don't think Gege's rushing the EOS at all too, given that he's been saying that the manga is set to end in 2023 (or early 2024, being generous). How can anyone say that he's rushing it when he already has the manga ending, as well as its main arcs, in mind since 2020?! Lol.
If it makes anyone feel better, though, we know that Gege often takes a week off writing - the pattern right now is like a week off after every 2 to 3 chapters. So counting that in, I'd say the earliest the series can end would be in 2024. It's still a ways away, even if the number of chapters left is scarily lesser than some of ya expected.
Whatever it is, if Gege wants to end Jujutsu Kaisen, then let him. IT'S HIS STORY. JUJUTSU KAISEN IS GEGE AKUTAMI'S STORY. Not yours. Who knows he might have aimed to end the series a long time ago but because of the sudden popularity the series received, he had no choice but to extend the lifespan and it's not what he truly wanted? Who knows he has probably lost interest in the series and it's a struggle every week - because your heart is really not in it anymore - trying to come up with new ideas, etc. to keep the story going? Who knows he's actually yearning for a vacation where he can just chill and not having to worry about the progress of his story or the plot, or what his editor or fans would talk about, and he doesn't have to get pressured anymore? Or... who knows he might wanna start on a new story which excites him more than what JJK has to offer? [Maybe he wants to start on Barabarujura serialization already? Or the "idol" manga that he once mentioned...?]
Tumblr media
Video source: Waya
I don't know his exact reason yeah, but all I'm saying is just let the man do what he wants with his story; if he wants to end it, so let him. As long as the series comes to a proper conclusion (whether happy or sad ending), I think many of us should be cool with it. Rather than it getting axed/rushed. Why do some people have to be angsty over his decision, I wonder? It's not like the majority of you are happy with what he puts out every week anyway ever since the last few chapters dropped - there's always something that the salty fans had to say (or hate on) in regards to the (current) story pace, characters, etc.
So anyways, whether or not the JJK manga is truly ending this year, or sometime in 2024, can we all just support Gege for this last stretch of his journey as a Jujutsu Kaisen mangaka..? And enjoy what little or more time that we have left with this amazing series? Man, I don't think it's that hard why do some of us even have to plead :')
I hate to say this too but for the people who read the manga for free, especially those who read on unofficial sites, some of ya really got the nerve to talk a whole lotta shiz.

Madara there's literally only one person to blame for the events of the manga: the person in charge of it. That's Ikemoto.
Remember that Ukyo Kodachi left and Masashi Kishimoto is NOT writing it, he has been credited as supervisor since 2020 and confirmed in every single Jump Festa: he's the editorial supervisor period. It's gonna be said again this year. The scroptwriter disappeared after chapter 52, nobody leaves author's notes (Kodachi and Kishi used to do it and Kishi used to do it in Samurai 8 too). So blaming Ikemoto is absolutely right because he's the only person confirmed to be in charge of the manga. Kishimoto might not be responsible for people overlooking the work of the medical corps, but at least he showed it, Ikemoto isn't showing anything so it's okay to blame because that lack of presence will be reflected in the anime later.
I'm not saying that people shouldn't blame Ikemoto for the events of the manga, or that he isn't writing it, that was never my point. And for the record, Ikemoto most definitely has shown the work of the medical teams in Boruto. Just because he hasn't shown as much as you'd like him to, does not mean that he "isn't showing anything".
What I'm saying is that firstly, it's utterly ridiculous to accuse Ikemoto of hating hospitals and medical departments, just because they aren't as prominent as you'd like them to be in the plot. That is blowing things way out of proportion. He hasn't demonstrated that he "hates" anything.
Secondly, just because the hospital and medical departments aren't very featured in this current arc, does not equate to their significance in the village itself being diminished.
If people are really so silly as to rate the importance of a person or department to the village, based solely on how often they are featured in an arc, rather than based on what they actually do for the village, then that's their fault, not the author's. I'm not directing that towards you, I'm referring to the post on reddit which was mentioned in the previous ask.
I'll repeat myself on this - I also wish that Sakura and the hospital were featured more in this current arc. However, just because I want them to have more current panel time, does not mean that I've suddenly forgotten everything they do for the village. I know how important the medical teams are for the village, and I don't need to constantly see them on panel to acknowledge or remember this fact, because having less panel time does not mean that your importance to the village itself has in any way lessened accordingly.

Anyway, the new AMD chips announced in the pre-Computex showcase basically mean base model of next Xbox will likely retain AMD, since its Copilot performance is better than Snapdragon X, apparently.
ARM based SoCs will obviously become the dominant form eventually, but at least the next generation consoles will retain x86-64 architecture for backwards compatibility.
****
Kingdom Hearts 4 is not coming to the Summer Game Fest, as confirmed by Geoff Keighley, so the earliest will be Gamescom.
Most likely earliest will be in TGS in late September, though, since the game's release is obviously going to be delayed. I'm personally expecting an April 2025 release earliest like the first FF7R, which was in April 2020.
(There is also D23 as TheGamersJoint mentioned in his video, but that is unlikely to have a trailer, though SE might have a trailer on their official channels around the time.)
Most of the news will likely be around Jump Festa, though probably with direct news from SE, rather than a Jump Festa panel.

Probably Horikoshi after saying those words..
Tumblr media
Horikoshi has been saying about BNHA might come to an end multiple times before. And, at the same time I wont believe this genius as he once said there will be no third movie but WE ARE HAVING A THIRD MOVIE.
I just hope he's joking and he is the type of person who loves to see this fandom turn into chaos. That's so like him.
Right??

Which JJK characters already have gotten a WBMR?
Not to victim-blame here, but if you got into Jujutsu Kaisen, that's on YOU, because Gege already gave the warning signs back at Jump Festa back in 2020:
Tumblr media
But, since I am a nice person who knows how it stings to be betrayed by a creator/showrunner, here's a list of Jujutsu Kaisen characters that already have gotten a WBMR file done. If there's any character that hasn't been requested yet, now it'd be a good time to do so!
Nanami Kento and Satoru Gojo;
Itadori Yuuji (plus Ryomen Sukuna);
Kugisaki Nobara;
Fushiguro Megumi;
Yoshino Junpei;
Inumaki Toge and Zenin Maki (plus Panda);
(as an addendum to the previous request) Okkotsu Yuuta.
And what have we learned today, dear children? That Shounen is a SHIT genre, and we all should rely more on (non-Madoka) Magical Girls!
