In my rewrite I will swap Togepi for Azurill and Maril for Misty .

First, the Jotho episode was totally unfair to her for giving her perfect character development with this Pokémon and simply giving her a Togepi that has nothing to do with her objetive. Speaking about the show "feminizing characters" Togepi was treated like a baby and didn't have proper character development. I'm trading him for Dawn and her Togekiss, it's going to be much better.

I was very upset as a child when this Maril had a trainer, my god.

I am giving my child self this historical reparation. I don't hate Misty's Togetic, on the contrary, it actually hurt so much to rewatch their farewell that it took me a month to watch it all the way through when she returned to Hoeen.

Tan Tan, the Tangela who was saved by Maga and Electa, but this girl's life was not at all violent, but rather calm, peaceful and well... boring, Tan Tan wanted something fun! different! violent! like battles! she wanted to go to the Stadium! like her friends! friends? anyway... she wanted freedom! but she didn't want to upset her owner... lie! she would do whatever was necessary to live her dream and find her new friends! there was just one little problem... she was in Jotho and her friends were in Kanto, so she needed help... hmmmm... Mr. Claws! I mean... Scizor, one night, while everyone was sleeping...

"Claws... Claws..." Tan Tan whispered, while shaking her poor teammate

"..ah.. what was that vine ball..?"

"Take me to Kanto?"

"..." he stood up brutally "WHAT?"

"keep your voice down!!"

"What kind of crazy idea is this?! Right now? I mean- you don't have to have this idea at any time!!! Go back to sleep!"

"Calm down! If I explain it to you, will you take me?"

"No!"

"Please! Let me explain! I want to find my friends! And fights and-"

"Go on foot, you have your little feet, let me sleep"

"But it's going to take a long time! Please! You'll never see my face again after this favor~"

Claw walked by with his head down, holding Tan in his arms, avoiding the green monster's gaze

"oh you guys want to go to Kanto? to fight and be strong and powerful pokémon" said Slowking, Slow, sitting on a log, in a clearing, right in front were Claw and Tan

"well, she wants to, I'm just taking her, excited to get rid of this plague"

Tan just stuck her tongue out at him, but the green monster, Kaitai, approached her

"You guys came far, to stop here on my mountain, but hey, you're close and- hey! You three!!!"

Kaitai shouted to what seemed to be her children, Larvitar, Elekid and a Magby, who both crushed Magby, who released smoke as a signal for help

"Ah... Are you parents?" Claw asked

"I'm just a friend and Spark and Amber are our saved boys, they had nowhere to go, so we saved them

"..." Tan Tan looked at Spark and Amber, remembering the few moments she had with Maga and Electa

"What's that look, Tan Tan?" Slow asked

"Ah... They remind me of my friends... They also had nowhere to go... They wanted to go to the Stadium, well Electa wanted to go just to get revenge on the trainer but... Well..."

"... What did you see in them, Tan Tan?" Claw said

After this brief pause, Slow pointed the way to Kanto, and they resumed their journey...

I live with my older brother in Jotho and one day when we're on vacation at my brother's friends' place in galar we found that a Pokemon left a egg in the backyard and we took care of it till it hatched and he said that I could start my pokemon journey but that then we found out

It was a Driftblim egg

Then my brother started to be hesitant about the whole thing cause with it's Pokedex entry so he did let me keep it but I wouldn't start my journey until we got another pokemon which was a Mimikyu but we didn't know if Mimikyu were allowed in jotho so I don't know how I did it but I made my mimikyu a Eevee costume and it somehow worked and then later we changed it into a Umbreon outfit

When I turned 10 I really wanted to start training pokemon but honestly was pretty scared of all of the starters in my region so my parents decided to get me a little pup Rockruff and I named her Jax and she’s who I consider my starter and she’s been with me ever since

Okay, here's a pitch for a fic idea I have, let me know what you think:

Cyrus returns while Kalos Ash returns home. He finished kicking the Creation Trio and Arceus' asses. He's now some sort of dark god with enough power to destroy the world.

As a last ditch effort, Arceus has the idea to fuse himself with the Creation Trio and Lake Guardians to beat him, but fail when they try. Uxie realizes that Ash's aura would hold them together, but they would never be able to unfuse. Ash has an internal debate, but offers to help, much to everyone's surprise. After a heartfelt goodbye to his mother and his Pokemon, they fuse.

They lose to Cyrus, and the world is destroyed. Arceus knows that Cyrus will want to destroy the multiverse, but no longer has the power to. They all decide to follow him to another universe to stop him.

Over time, their minds meld together into one being. This being needs to stop Cyrus, discover who he really is as a person, and help this world's Ash on his journey.

The Legendaries' full power scatters across Kanto and compresses into (Basically Chaos Emeralds) They need to get them before fighting Cyrus. Their power scatters because they sort of overlap with this world's Legendaries.

After getting them, they can basically turn Super. Afterwards, they scatter to the next Region (Used in Kanto? Flung to Jotho. Used in Hoenn? Yeeted across Sinnoh)

Goes Super to fight Mewtwo, Primal Weather Duo, Megarig and Cyrus (Basically Frontiers Titan fights)

They have some of their old Powers:

Mild Precognition (Like, 5 minutes) (Shows the most likely outcome, but not absolute) Short-range Teleportation (Maybe a city or two) Can open Reverse World Portals (But it takes a lot of energy, and it can't be done on non-reflective surfaces) Healing Fast as f___ boi Strength Empathy Mind reading Can erase up to 5 minutes of a person's memory

Also has basic Aura powers like Aura Sight

When Super, they can't just rewrite reality or something, because Cyrus stole some of their power at the beginning when he became a god.

Heavily inspired by Sonic Frontiers in some ways, but I still like the idea.

Basically what it is is that all of Ash's traveling companions (minus Max and Bonnie because they're ✨baby✨) have either been kicked out,abandoned,lives on their own,ect so Delia just slowly but surely adopts all of them starting with Gary since his parents were never really there for him,Oak was too absorbed in his studies and Agatha was always too busy (yes they're married in this au)

Ash and Gary go out on their journey together instead of being rivals since Delia adopted him at such a young age (5 y/o) to where he has a much healthier friendship dynamic with Ash.

Misty left on her own accord since her sisters (who were supposed to be her caretakers) just stopped caring for her and the gym by proxy and set off to get stronger and take the gym leader position by force so that the gym wouldn't go under.She set up a campsite on the Viridian City outskirts where nobody would bother her plus there being a lake nearby helped with training all the cute lil water types she has.

Brock was outright disowned after being severely injured during a hiking trip into Mt Moon (14 y/o) leaving him with permanent nerve damage in his left arm and a slight limp in his left leg along with some memory issues and a nervous tic (limbs randomly jerking) and his parents refusing to acknowledge him because "no child of ours cannot not be perfect" (abelism 100).He tends to stay as far away as possible from Pewter but never any further than Viridian Forest or Route 4 since his siblings tend to sneak out and check up on him.

Tracey is a drifter,he never really had a home since he was left orphaned at just a few months old and was tossed between foster parents until he managed to run away when he turned 10 to get his trainer's license so that he wouldn't be forced back into the foster care system.He's befriended a pod of Lapras who ferry him between islands along the Orange Archipelago and occasionally stopping by Jotho (that's where he got Marill).

Backstory: Amora lost her mother Sienna when she was 7 years old. Sienna was a kind and gentle soul who love her daughter dearly. But knew that she wasn’t going to be apart of Amora’s life for long. Her death impacted both Amora and her father. Her anut took in of taking care of Amora when her dad goes to work. Sienna last gift the to her daughter was an egg that was a present for Amora on her 8th birthday and her scarf. Later on the egg hatched and an eevee was born. The eevee basically cinge and stuck by Amora side through many sad and bullys that they faced at school. The kids at bullied her for dead mom, and started rumors about her. However one time when leaving school the bullys followed close to home and tease and pick on her. Lucky her eevee was chase them away. Causing Amora to keep to herself away from others. When she turned 14 she is ready to leave home and head out on her journey of discovering new pokemon and fight the gym leaders. As aparting gift amora’s father Sienna’ scarf as a way to have a piece of her with her on Amora’s journey.

On her journey, she encountered an injured Mareep who crash landed into Amora. Amora very confused on a Mareep being out here and why it smacked her in the stomach.

Before she could help the injured Mareep, an sudden attack hit her and the Mareep. Knocking her down, to see Team Xenon Grunts. *( bad music theme )*

Apparently the Mareep managed to escape team Xenon they wanted that Mareep so they can use it for mega evolutions. But Amora wasn’t going down without a fight.

After defeating team Xenon Grunts. Mareep became a part of her team. Amora hoped that she wouldn't encounter team Xenon again.

But she was wrong...

Amora head to Azalea town to visit her aunts old friend. But suddenly there's was a loud noise xoming from Azalea town. Team Xenon was attacking townsfolk and stealing the slowpoke that live there. Amora head to help the town. With the gym leader Busey stopped her and asked to help the townsfolk and that she gots this. Amora help the townsfolk escape and defeating some grunts. But one of the grunts saw her helping the townsfolk and went after Amora.

She ran into llex forest Chasing her to Celebi's temple. She thought she could lose them and head to goldenrod city to alerted the others of Team Xenon attacking the city. But Team Xenon was a steppm ahead and she was far to late. They already attacked Goldenrod city, and block the exit to the llex forest. Coner next to the temple. Before she send out her pokemon to help fight team Xenon and small bright light emerged from the from behind the temple. Circling around Amora and then illuminating and bright flash teleporting Amora to the past. The bright light fades revealing Celebi holding Amora's mother scarf. Amora stunned and confused (mostly confused) on what just happened. Amora took the scarf thanking Celebi and Celebi made a pleased noise in response. Amora checked to see where team Xenon went or spot any Grunts but they were allo gone without a trace as if they weren't there.

She ran her way to goldenrod city leaving Celebi behind. But little did she knew that Celebi followed Amora secretly to goldenrod city. Once she made it there the city looked peaceful and not taken over by Team Xenon. Amora asked the people around goldenrod city about the attacking of team Xenon in Azalea town and the people looked at her like she crazy. She bumps into Eragona. But she looks a bit younger, then it dawn on Amora. Celebimust have time traveled back in time before the attacks of Jotho. She needs help on putting a stop to team Xenon. So Amora asked for Eragona help to stop Team Xenon before they start attack the other regions. But little did she knew that this will a bigger challenge than she ever faced.

So I am not an artist, but I decided to draw my dream Pokémon Team and am pretty proud of how it turned out so here we go:

My darlings (and me)

If someone is interested in their backstories (I have put way to much thought into these) then keep on reading!

My trainer is either just a normal trainer or, when I feel like going with the story, an older version of Lyra from Heart Gold (as this is still my favourite game and the first one I have ever played). I usually call her Heart when playing and the rival Soul.

Then there are

Sunshine, the female Mimikyu

Mimikyu is my trainer's first Pokémon which she met on a vacation in Alola when she was very young. She ran off playing somewhere and met her, finding her cute and befriending her quickly. But when she brought her to town with her (after some bonding and playing) she was told how dangerous it can be. They told her about the curse and how it cannot come in contact with the sun. But my trainer decided to stay friends anyway because the Pokémon had been so kind. And she told her that Mimikyu would be the only sunshine she wanted. After that Mimikyu came back home to Jotho with her new friend and some time later allowed her to catch it.

Sunshine is a bit anxious about meeting new people, rather shy and still afraid to hurt someone. But also noone should ever mess with her trainer. Ever. She is strong due to her affection and due to her being the longest ongoing partner.

Mephisto, the male Typhlosion

Cyndaquil was one of the (starter) Pokémon professor Elm was holding on to. Together with Totodile and Chikorita it would play with the neighbouring kid, Heart (aka Lyra) and actually also befriend her lowkey weird Mimikyu. Then the plant starter found a trainer... and the water starter was stolen. Upon hearing this my trainer decided to start her journey for real indirectly, at least so far she could get Totodile back. Cyndaquil was miserable and lonely without all his friends and Elm saw that... and suggested that he should go with Heart to get his friend back. In the end he stayed with the trainer and became Mephisto, the second team member.

He is super chill and usually in a good mood. He doesn't look like it but he loves to help smaller Pokémons and allows them to ride on his back and to be surrounded by friends. He also likes to play smaller pranks on people but alk in all he is good-willed.

Titan, the female Snorlax

Now, we all know the tale. Snorlax blocking off the street. Walk the other way, through the tunnel and get the fluet. Well, Heart decided upon arriving in Kanto, having become the Jotho champion and owning her first badge that no, she wouldn't do that. This Pokémon seemed to sleep super deeply. She would climb over it. And she did but as she was up there Snorlax turned sideways and grabbed her with an arm. She wasn't squished but also couldn't move. So she did the only reasonable thing: take a nap halfeay on top of Snorlax. As it woke up it realised that it was cuddeling something and decided that it was not food but a new friend.

Titan is... well, a Snorlax. Sleeps and eats a lot and likes it. But she also loves to give hugs.

Napoleon, the male Empoleon

I honestly never gave him a backstory, should probably tinker something. Napoleon is super smart and pretends to be a cool dude, but he also quickly loses his temper, completely different from what his typing suggests. He often has beef with Buddy because they are a bit too similiar character wise.

Buddy, the male Garchomp

Buddy and Heart met back when he was just a Gabite on Victory Road in Sinnoh, when she on her way to the Pokémon League. He had always been a loner, but this human was super nice to him and didn't judge on his appeareance. Other trainers always had been afraid or wanted him because he looked scary, but this one just treated him like a friend. So much he helped her out of the cave (she had gotten lost) and went with her.

He stayed true to his loner self. He is slightly aggressive, possessive and can be super scary. But Heart loves him like a effing Puppy and around her he almost acts like that too. He won't let anyone ever scratch her and breaks out of his ball when he feels like she needs to be defended against a mean trainer, a very wild Pokémon... or someone that she doesn't like hitting on her (she is a young adult wandering through all the regions, people will hit on her).

Guinevere, the female Leafeon

She was a very well-treated Eevee and belonged to an older woman in Kalos. But she yearned for adventure and her owner finally did agree to giving her to the nice passing trainer that had helped her out with something. She then evolved into Leafeon in the Winding Woods.

She is beautiful and knows it, ever since she has been an Eevee she had been told how pretty and cute she was and it made her a bit stuck up. But she is more than just a princess (though she enjoys being treated as such). She enjoys batteling the most out of everyone in the team because it gives her a chance to prove that she is not only nice to see but also strong and loyal.

So that was my Pokémon team.

Update pokemon verse

Sephena has traveld alot to the pokemon world and met wonderfull people, like grumpy cyrus for example.

She loved this pokemon world so much that decided to travel in that world. This will be side storys, she won’t be there all the time, but these are her storys in that world starting from where I left the story in the main verse

Beginning of a journey

In the beginning she wanted in crono style but decided that she wanted to start in sinnoh, while also visiting other regions, she hopps from place to place, her starter is a ghost pokemon, she had a fancy for them ever she met a lovely ghost trainer.

In this beginning she is still a tali tali, she manange to get 3 badges in sinnoh and 3 in hoen, and 2 trials in aloha and 2 badges in kanto. Besides the training she also just travels and making new friends.  3 badges in jotho. She also alot of pokemon living in a special dimention in the machine, like the pc box but with much more space and the areas are like their own homes. Later in her story she will switch teams

Her journey continues. This time she is planning on just traveling as much as she can, saving her energy for batlers for later, she and her ghost type pokemon had a strong bond, still have. She added new members. A audino and thogedamaru. She finds them super cute. She only trains them against wild pokemon. She travels trough sinoh, jotho,hoen,allola, her favorite island, kanto, unova. She still would love to befriend a cyrus, still her goal.

I will never understand the comparisons between Misty and Iris, especially since I've been watching Kanto since I was a child. When I watched Iris in 2010-2012, even though the ending of Diamond and Pearl affected me. I felt that BW cured some of my bad days and when Scraggy was born is still one of my top episodes of the series.

I'll explain why the episode contributes to this.

And why the Scraggy episode is so important and shouldn't be erased from Pokémon continuity (as some idiots tend to do)

Ash with Panphy and Larvitar had some setbacks, like he didn't know how to deal with a baby Pokémon, he scared the Pokémon and demanded it return to its PokeBall, and he was very impatient.

With Larvitar he is a bit overprotective and a bit spoiled by Ash despite the whole trauma plot. He doesn't evolve much as a Pokemon, there are some things here to improve but...Ash is still learning.

Scraggy is an evolution of this learning and not a regression.

1 - Ash introduced Scraggy to his team

Despite Scraggy's temper, Ash did not fight with him, or simply get mad at him. Ash learned his lesson from the past and was patient with Scraggy's nature.

2 - Ash kept his new catch out of the PokeBall

He simply kept Scraggy to explore the world around him. He let the Pokémon sleep outside its PokeBall, and still gave it space to get used to the Team and its own Trainer.

3- Scraggy and Axew friendship

Scraggy and Axew are a duo in so much, they evolve together, work together and are on the same level and seek to be close to each other.

(Journeys should have had a reunion between him and Haxurous but that's for another time)

4 - Scraggy was saved and learned to trust Ash in his own time.

The whole episode built Scraggy up to be one of Ash's best Pokemon eggs in terms of writing for me, in everything he shows he learns from his mistakes with Ganvantula which makes Ash himself Take better care of your Pokemon as proven below

After Scraggy Ash became much more capable of caring for Pokémon regardless of their nature, whether calm or whiny, whether hopeful or turbulent, he is there.

He learns his lesson

He went after Riolu like he went after Scraggy, as he knows how a hotheaded Pokemon can behave since he's been through it before. Scraggy taught him exactly what to do in this situation: stay calm and save the Pokémon even if it doesn't want to go with him. Because this is what he understood and evolved as a person.

I think it's funny that genrwunner has gone from being a person who hates everything that came after Kanto

to simply someone who loves anything from Kanto, regardless of whether they devalue other generations or not.

Just the fact that you like Pokeshipping or are neutral to it like I was in the past (2007-2018) I only started to like it after 3 rewatches like it's crazy to me that some Amourshippers hate Kanto Orange league and Jotho so much, it's the beginning of everything, how can they not feel the vibe, maybe they didn't grow up with Kanto - Jotho sessions is only way I can think.

Which for me simply makes the term fade away because in general people don't know the genrwunner niche. In my childhood genrwunner was my cousins who said that Ash's journey should have ended in Kanto only, or They only liked Red Blue and Yellow and almost never spoke well of Silver Gold and Crystal, if you could come up with good arguments in favor of GSC it was a miracle, look it was 2006-2007 and not 2014-2024 lol I was a fan of Advanced anime only, I never really liked the RSE games, I really liked DPPT and BW1/BW2 much more...

I just don't understand how Genrwunner went from a person who despises anything other than Kanto to someone who loves they childhood and the things that made them happy even if it's later 2000s.

What are some of your favorite episodes from the Pokémon series? Like from OS, JN, XY, etc.

Well, let's take it one step at a time. My favorite XY is definitely 053 A Race for a Home. This episode has enormous importance for my emotional and personal life, it changed absolutely everything about me at the time of XY, Serena was already a favorite but this episode only consolidated my Kinnie even more.

OS - I can't really decide on favorites but I would definitely say the original Kanto trio, This saga was part of my childhood, so much so that's why I SIMPLY DEFEND IT WITH TOOTH AND NAILS. Wow it's just surreal how I can watch the original Kanto trio as many times as I can and still love them every time I rewatch each one. How much I admire the characters of Kanto-Jotho and Shudo's writing is some of the best in the show, I always say this but personally no one has written Pokemon like Shudo with such depth and such a world which I engaged so much, Of course it has its general flaws... but the world of Pokémon and humans was so palpable, so real, you could find ordinary people doing absurd things and still be the character of the day. They could be the vigilantes and help someone at the end of the day but not everyone had redemption or a reason behind it. I praise Shudo a lot for his writing 🥰

That said, if there wasn't Lucario movie 08, due to its themes, M01 would definitely take that podium.

Now we start with the peak: Diamond and Pearl

This saga is so complete, it has almost no flaws, it has exactly everything that I also love, the characters are captivating, the plot knew where it was working, and despite Torterra's arcs it will be my favorite starter despite people clearly having a fondness for infernape, i should really make a thread about how they had to be a dynamic duo

All Pokemon are captivating, they all have their screen space, they have their training spread throughout the complex plot that serves them.

Ash and Dawn have a group and duo dynamic that simply makes it clear how they are each other's co-progenitors.

TEARS OF CHINCHAR is another episode that brings rivers of tears

IRIS IS THE BEST OF BW AND HER HATERS CAN EXPLODE, I'm not a fan of Cillan unlike most, I don't hate him I just don't find him very interesting and neither do the episodes focused on him)

Hoeen - I have the same problem with OS, I can't decide on just one favorite episode, I love every part and character of this show with all my heart. However, I can say that it took me a month to rewatch Togetic's farewell. This broke my heart again, I like the conversation Max has with Misty in the battle frontier about siblings...I have nothing against Max, he's not bad as a character and people exaggerate because he's a kid. I like Torkal, no matter who says bad things about him, I think Pokemon with personality is wonderful.

Idk about SM I definitely get the whole Nebby arc, it's the first time I've JUST BEEN shocked by the deep relationship between Pokemon and legendary trainer after movie one and the special that absolutely no one saw it [this is hyperbole] (i was confused when people didn't know mewtho returns).

Anyway, I'll try to talk less lol, Journeys I love all the Goh episodes, I even rewatched some of the episodes I hate the most (Arceus and Sinnoh specials) just to remember Chloé/Koharu's development, I care about all the characters and don't want to go too far against their characterization in their specific series. Who knows when I'll need to defend Chloé lmao.
