This character was created by my boyfriend! Everything about him below were his ideas, but I tweaked them a bit so he doesn't seem too overpowered.
Meet Xavier Salthalthazahar, or Salthazar, Grandmaster of Blood and member of the Conclave of Magic. He primarily focuses on blood magic, but he possess ancient magic that hasn't been seen in ages. Not only that, but he also dabbles in every form of magic. When traveling long distances or fighting foes, he can turn into a saber-tooth tiger.
No one knows how old Xavier is, and refuses to elaborate any further when someone asks. The only thing he answers when people ask is, "old enough," but it's believed that he is well over a hundred years old, maybe even older. In actuality, Xavier is over a thousand years old, and was once a great archivist. Xavier was once a denizen of the Ancient Cities found underground, a thriving metropolis that expanded across the continent. Xavier was one of the ancient civilization's archvist that recorded new and exciting changes to their world below. Xavier was there when the infestation, the sculk, came into their world from the large portals, infecting his friends and family, however, it didn't seem to affect Xavier the same way it did his loved ones. While the sculk twisted and changed the other denizens of the ancient civilization, Xavier was able to control it and bend it to his will. As his home, friends, and family were corrupted and lost to the sculk, he took it upon himself to rid this world of said infection to try and restore his home back to its former glory.
After many years of studying the magic that the sculk carried with it, along with the magic of the surface world, Xavier began traveling across the world to find others save his home. When he heard about the Republic of Corvellia and its council, he trained hard and later became a council member. He outlived many of his old colleagues, seeing new faces on the council at least every five to seven years. During that time, Xavier and his colleagues started the Republic's first high-end magic school for mages who are already skilled in magic but want to take it to the next level; Xavier has been teaching there since the very beginning, watching his acquaintances grow old and die, unable to free them from the hands of time. However, there were some years that proved to be prosperous for him when several new faces joined the council and earned the titles of Grandmasters. Xaveir found himself truly caring for his new colleagues, even falling in love with the Grandmaster of Ice, Gwyneira. At first, she only viewed the man as an annoying older brother but soon found herself falling for him all the same.
Xavier is very studious and has a great love for history. Whenever asked about world history, he can give a full-blown lecture from his point of view and the rest of the world, however, when asked about his personal life, he clams up. He's normally very jovial and has a very brotherly-kind of way to him. When teaching his students at the university, he's what people would say, "cold yet caring." If a student is trying to "take the easy way out," he will call them out without shame, but if he sees that someone is truly putting effort into their studies and magic as a whole, Xavier will praise them for it. In that same breath, when training his apprentice, Xavier is very hands-on with his teachings. His lectures will teach his apprentice how to dissect magic in real time while showing them how the line that separates magic is blurred and unnecessary. Not only that, but Xavier will also train his apprentice with weapons and how to use magic in everyday life. Around the other Grandmasters, he is very relaxed. Xavier doesn't like to take charge, but rather likes to act as a record of insight, hence why he is the lead archivist in the Republic.
And that is the final major character for my minecraft story! I had such a blast writing and drawing them, and all of the backstories my friends provided were incredible! More art coming eventually, so stay tuned!

Funny enough, this is by far one of the goofiest characters I've ever made. Huge thanks to my friend who came up with him. Haven't drawn an elderly person in a good while, but I really love how it turned out! (Gonna do smth a bit differet. The description/backstory my friend gave me was fucking hilarious but it has like little to nothing to do with the actual story. So, I will provide a blurb I came up with for this character and under the cut will be the description my friend gave. Enjoy!)
Meet Turtle, Grandmaster of Holy and a proud member of the Conclave of Magic. He primarily focuses on holy magic and will often dabble in other forms of magic. When he's not fighting and just chilling in the cathedral, he can transform into a turtle (I am so serious, my friend has an entire running bit for this guy).
Turtle was raised in Egidaris Monastery, a monastery and church within Corvellia, relatively close to the borderlands of Kayra. He was one of the oldest to live there, spending most of his life within the pearl-colored walls. One of the nuns, Sister Amari, was like a mother to him, as she had adopted him when he was living on the streets as a teenager. No one knows what happened to his family, if he had any at all, but Turtle refuses to talk about it. Turtle's birth name was Riccardo but Sister Amari called him "her little turtle" with how much time he spent with the turtles at the monastery's fountain. Turtle, along with other people raised in the monastery were taught holy magic to honor the Great Heavens above. Turtle was a devout follower of the monastery and its church, and displayed his magic in hopes to bring honor and an abundance of blessings to him and his friends. Over time, Turtle was made an archbishop by the monastery's cardinal; Turtle couldn't be or feel more blessed. However, tragedy fell when an illager clan raided Egidaris and demanded all of the church's riches. When the monks and nuns refused, they fought against the illager clan to save what they could. While Turtle wasn't part of the fight, being one of the oldest in the monastery, he took the liberty of getting the young children and young adults to safety. When Turtle and his young friends escaped into the woods, all they saw was their home up in flames with black smoke filling the air. Turtle took it upon himself and go back and fight off the illager clan to salvage what he could of his home. In the end, amongst the illager clan and the monastery's members, Turtle and the others were the only ones left of Egidaris Monastery. Turtle found Sister Amari in the wreckage of the once holy building with burns and wounds all over her body. That night, within what was left of the church's walls, Turtle and the remaining survivors held a funeral for the monks and nuns that raised them, along with the other archbishops and cardinal.
Over the next few years, Turtle and the remaining survivors took it upon themselves to rebuild the church and the monastery. When looking to appoint a new head for the monastery and church, the friends that Turtle grew up with reminded him that he was an archbishop and could take up that torch, to which Turtle humbly accepted. Word spread quickly of the events of Egidaris Monastery and the council had sought after the archbishop, offering him a teaching job at the Republic's university. When Turtle respectfully declined, the council reassured him that he would still be able to come back to Egidaris and deliver sermons while teaching on the side. Many of Turtle's friends encouraged him, saying that they would love to take his class if he taught at the university. Moved by their sincerity, Turtle began teaching at the university while also delivering sermons on the weekends. Over time, the council offered the archbishop a position on the council and the title of Grandmaster, to which Turtle accepted graciously.
When Turtle was younger, he was a bit shy and standoff-ish, only ever really gong outside to admire and feed the turtles in Egidaris's fountain. As he got older, he became an older brother figure to some of the younger children there, and he loved how they all looked up to him. While Turtle was working as an archbishop, he became very serious and more devout than how he was when he was a young adult. To him, giving sermons and teaching a class were the same so his sermon voice and teaching voice are the same. He takes his jobs as archbishop and teacher very seriously, but he has fun with it. He tries to make his classes fun at the university, but keeps his sermons a bit more on the serious side. When interacting with the other members of the Conclave of Magic, he treats his colleagues with the same respect one would give an archbishop or a cardinal; he holds them in very high regard, but underneath it all, Turtle is a very down-to-earth person. When training his apprentice, he is very kind, considerate, and helpful. His training exercises are challenging, but fair. In short, he teaches his apprentice the same way the monks taught him when he was younger.
My friend's description is under the cut, so enjoy, and stay tuned for more!
Turtle always yearned for the mines. Unfortunately he could never live his dream so he grew up. It wasn't until one fateful day that he hit someone with his Jeep Grand Cheroke and was sued for all of Jennifer Coolidge's net worth. This set Turtle into a downward spiral, so downward he literally had to sell everything and move into the sewers of [insert city name here]. While in this sewers, Turtle roamed aimless, thinking back to the glory days where he owned a Jeep Grand Cheroke. This was as close to the mines as he would ever come. It wasn't until he befriended a rat named "Splinter" that Turtle finally began to find his calling. He lived well, as well as a sewer Turtle could until a vat of acid spilled on him, giving him the ability to transform into an albino Turtle. And thus begins his adventure in your story
I swear to fuck, this is by far the funniest thing i have ever read in my life 🤣🤣🩷 but i love it so much!

One of my favorite designs by far. Huge shoutout and thanks to my friend for coming up with this awesome character!
Meet Pulsar, Grandmaster of Ender and a proud member of the Conclave of Magic. He primarily focuses on ender magic, but he sometimes dabbles into other magic forms. When traveling long distances or concealing his powerful magic, he can turn into a moon rabbit.
Pulsar is from the End dimension (basically the "what if" version of a human enderman). By End dimension standards, he is painfully ordinary. "Pulsar" is enderman equivalent to "Nick," or "Jack," or "Tom." (no shade to those who have these names, yall are awesome!) He was born in a clutch of 46 which was weaned down to 4. No one knows why, it just happened. He attended a local End City academy and, though being treated like an outcast, he was at the top of his class. During this time, Pulsar had a pet lunar bat named Ravager, which was unusual, only in the sense that lunar bats are perceived as an "ender-woman" thing more than an ender-man thing, but Pulsar didn't care; he adored Ravager. As Pulsar got older, he pursued a post-voidal degree and held a cushy position as a high-school educator for about four eons before being moved to the Overworld. Pulsar is not the adventurous type at all, but his co-husbands are significantly more adventurous, and encouraged him to go to the Overworld.
When Pulsar arrived in the Overworld, he walked into the Republic's university without a care. He stumbled upon an empty classroom filled with students and played the perfect model teacher and started teaching them ender magic. He is a very "teaches by the book" kind of teacher because he does not got the years of time he'd have with children from the End. He soon learns that there are small traces of ender magic in the Overworld and decides to impart his culture within the university. When the council heard of someone who was teaching students ender magic, they offered him a seat on the council and the title of Grandmaster, and he reluctantly accepted, because he knew his co-husbands would question him like, "Why didn't you take the job?" "For once, do something nice for yourself, Puls." "You'll be livin' it up as a council member!" He loves them dearly, but man, are they annoying sometimes.
Pulsar, like endermen, is very standoff-ish. He tries not to make eye contact with humans because it is considered extremely rude. As such, he is extremely curt and professional because he heard humans don't live very long; it's just his way of being considerate. Pulsar tries to connect with humans but he's used to making friends over the course of years rather than months. To him, all of the humans he has met are very forward, and he gets very quiet when he's embarassed. Which, combined with the domineering look, makes it seem like he's glaring when he gets anxious. Towards his students, be it from the End or at the university, he is very by the book, but will deviate a bit to show off his magic capabilities. When he's training his apprentice, however, they get the full dad treatment.
Had such a blast making writing this character! My friend even came up with some enderman and End culture lore that I could add to my story, and omgg I couldn't be more thankful! More to come so stay tuned!

I have been WAITING to talk about this character here! This character was brought to life by and belongs to my bestie and sister @mega-layla-ex! go check her out, she's awesome! We worked together a bit on her backstory, and we both really love how she turned out!
Meet Hestia Seraphina, Grandmaster of Fire and member of the Conclave of Magic. Her primary focus is, of course, fire magic, and rarely ever dabbles into other forms of magic. When traveling long distances, she can turn into a phoenix.
Hestia was born and raised in the Kingdom of Shiraz with her mother and father. They lived in eastern Shiraz, relatively close to Ziaza. When Hestia was around 10, it was her mother who taught her fire magic, calling her "her little ember." However, Hestia's parents noticed that her fire magic was a lot stronger than most of the other fire mages her age. When asked to make a small fireball between her hands, Hestia's magic grew to be out of control, and as a result, she burned her hands black. According to Hestia, while the burns hurt for a while, the pain had subsided almost immediately. Over time, Hestia began to study up on fire magic and all its properties, soon coming to learn about the "spirit" of fire magic: a phoenix. It is said that every one hundred years, the phoenix chooses a successor to "harbor its undying flame" and its immense power, and Hestia just so happens to be the newest successor. Hestia was terrified, because with all of this power, she didn't know how to control it properly, seeing this more as a curse than a blessing. In her eyes, Hestia did more harm than good when using her magic, and even stopped using magic all together for a few long years, fearing of what her power could do.
During Hestia's time without using magic, she had fallen in love with a noblewoman from the Kingdom of Winsteria, Lady Noella Olwen. Even though they were on opposite sides of a silent war between their two kingdoms, their love for each other drowned out said war. The two women dated in secret for about three years because them being together is considered taboo, and if House Olwen found out, Hestia would be a dead woman. Not long after Hestia proposed, the two women got married and had a daughter named Guadalupe, often called Lulu or Lupita by her mothers. They lived happily for a few years near the borderlands of Shiraz and Ziaza. However, one day when Hestia and her daughter had returned home, they found an icy cacoon with Noella trapped inside. Hestia didn't know if her wife did this to herself or if someone did this to her; there were no signs of someone breaking in or signs of a struggle. Hestia tried to melt the ice to save her wife, but even though she had the phoenix's spirit in her, it's fire couldn't melt the ice, no matter how hard she tried. That was the first time in over 12 years Hestia has ever used magic after she vowed to never use it again. Hestia swore to her wife, Guadalupe, and herself that after she gains control over her magic, she would return to Noella to set her free.
When Hestia heard about the Republic's university, and how it can help any mage gain control over their magic, the fire mage and her daughter moved to Republic for Hestia's studies. While Hestia attended the university, she was lucky enough to find a small magic school for younger mages for Guadalupe to attend. Thanks to the phoenix spirit, Hestia was at the top of her class. She felt like she was cheating a bit for harboring this much power but she didn't want to give away the fact that the phoenix spirit chose her to carry its flame, nor her true intentions of attending. When she graduated, Hestia was offered a position a seat on the council, but she had to win in a tournament. Hestia at first denied the offer, but then she thought that if this was an opportunity to get stronger to save Noella, she had to try. During her match, Hestia was on the verge of losing, until she had a "meeting" with the phoenix spirit. She soon understood that the phoenix was just trying to come out and flourish, but at that time, Hestia was still a fledgling mage. Now that she was older and stronger, she understood and combined forces with the phoenix, winning her the tournament and earning her place on the council, becoming the Grandmaster of Fire.
One would think that Hestia would be very hot-headed and have a temper, but she is actually very chill and mellow (she and Gwyneira are opposites to the core). At first, Hestia was hot-headed and had a bit of a temper, but after meeting Noella, the noblewoman simmered her flame and her heart just enough for it to be warm instead of scorching to the touch. When Hestia first started working within the council, she and Gwyneira had bad blood since both of their hailing kingdoms were enemies. Hestia tried to avoid her as much as possible, but they saw each other everyday for work in the council and the university. However, when the two were put on a mission together and Hestia's life was in danger, Gwyneira dropped everything to save her, reminding the Grandmaster of Fire that there are good people from the frigid ice kingdom. Ever since that day, the two women became great friends, and Hestia often has Gwyneira and the other council members babysit Guadalupe. When Hestia is teaching her students at the university, she is what some people would call "a bit extreme and chaotic." Her teaching methods include her sparring with her students or dropping them in an enchanted forest to see who comes out alive. Thanks to Hestia stepping in to save her students' lives more often than not, all of them make it out alive, making her a very dependable teacher. When training her apprentice, there is no difference to her when teaching her students, but she keeps a closer eye on them. To this day, Hestia's hands are still black and burned, and at first glance, one would think she was wearing black gloves. Even though she was offered to have them healed, she respectfully declined, wanting her hands to be a reminder to herself and a lesson to her students and apprentice of what happens when you let fire control you.
I truly had such a blast writing her! Once again, huge thanks to @mega-layla-ex for providing such incredible information! More to come so stay tuned!

When making this, my friend said "its giving female Loki" had she not said that i never would have seen it lol, but i do really love how she turned out! While my friend did give me creative liberty with this backstory a bit, the ideas gone into it was all her!
Meet Dahlia Fiore, Grandmaster of Nature and member of the Conclave of Magic. Her primary focus is, of course, nature magic, and can sometimes be found using other forms of magic when gardening. When she needs to get to a place quickly, she can transform into an ocelot.
Dahlia was born and raised in the Kingdom of Marvos where she lived with her parents and her two younger brothers. Her mother was a healer who dabbled in Holy magic to make healing herbs and medicine and her father and brothers were bounty hunters who sought out magical beasts to help earn money for the family and for their mother's medical supplies. Dahila stuck around to help her mother, learning how everything and everyone is connected through nature, in one way or another. However, tragedy struck not only to the Fiore Family, but all of southern Marvos as well. No one saw it coming, but one day, a powerful plague swept across the land. It started in the borderlands of Marvos and Shiraz before dispersing more into Marvos, killing all living things it touched. From plants to animals to even poeple. When people and animals were affected by this plague, they would show symptoms of coughing up and crying blood, taking a life within a week. Unfortunately, this plague took the lives of Dahlia's family. She tried to make medicine to heal them but since this was something no one had ever seen before, there was no cure. Overtime, the surviving people of this tragedy called this plague the Withering on account of how all life slowly withered away.
After this tragedy and being the only survior of her family, Dahlia sought out to become stronger so something like this never happens again to anyone or any other country. She traveled to Corvellia and applied at the academy. After she graduated at the top of her class, she was offered a position to sit on the council and become the Grandmaster of Nature, to which she humbly accepted.
Before the Withering, Dahlia was a kind and polite young woman. Like her mother, she was a healer who worked closely with plants and animals, and often times going with her father and brothers to hunt. As a result, Dahlia does have a savage side that only a few were able to witness. Because of underlying savage nature, she was given the nickname Mother Nature. After the Withering and Dahlia became a part of the Conclave of Magic, she is much more reserved and to herself. She tries not to get too attached to people because she's afraid that one day, she'll lose them to another great tragedy. However, when she joined the council, she started opening up a bit more, especially to Thrum. They have a strong bond with how lightning and storms all tie back to nature. When teaching her students at the academy, it is very evident that she loves her job and ensures the safety of all her students. With her apprentice, it's that but cranked to 11. She has a very older-sisterly aura to her that shows when teaching her apprentice.
I absolutely love this character and easily one of my favorite color palettes. Fun fact: my friend picked out her color palette and i really love how it turned out! More to come so stay tuned!

aboslutely love this character, but not as much as the person who he belongs to. All information given about this guy was all provided by my good friend.
Meet Ivo, the Grandmaster of Evocation and a proud member of the Conclave of Magic. His primary focus is, of course, evocation, but he uses it along with other magic in a completely different way. When getting around and traveling far distances, he can transform into a brown bear.
Ivo was born unlike many heroes of legend. To a happy mother, father, and three older siblings, living on the borders of Marvos and Corvellia, his life was not one of strife nor decadence but a simple average life with ups and downs, joys and sorrows, and nothing to write home about. Yet Ivo himself was a bit strange, pragmatic to a fault. Ivo always found the quickest, most effective, and simplest solution to any issue he faced. Ivo was a farm boy the youngest of four who took every problem to the pragmatic extreme who learned and exceled at evocation magic because he saw it as more efficient. He cleaned the dishes in the flowing river near his house as the flowing water simply removed any residue as it moved past, same with his clothing. He would leave the chicken feed out in one large pile instead of throwing it around the enclosure. If anyone bullied him he simply hit them with rocks till they stopped. This pragmatic view followed Ivo to his study of magic taking up Evocation magic as to him it was the simplest, conjuring items and creatures that already existed rather than bending the laws of reality to conjure ice or darkness. His reasoning for improving his magic is likewise as the better he was at magic the easier it was to do and the more efficient it would allow him to be in his tasks.
In the Republic, many questioned how he became a member of the Conclave of Magic. The answer is simple, as is everything Ivo does. Because the better he got the more efficient using his magic would be. He became the grandmaster because he kept wanting to do magic easier and one day he just woke up the best at it.
Being the youngest of four in a farming family, Ivo has this home-grown kindness to him that is always wrapped up in his brand of bluntness. Whe teaching at the university, he'll tell his students to keep trying right after telling them that that was the worst casting of Shield he's ever seen. Ivo's the first to call out council's members bullshit while understanding why they did what they did. For his apprentice, he's much more of an older brother figure like his brothers were to him, having them learn what's best through action while keeping up the guard rails to make sure they don't get too hurt. In total, he's a kind simple farm boy who fixes every issue as quickly and efficiently as he can, along with a life long allergy to lying and bullshit.
When I asked my friend to provide a backstory for this character, while only giving him small details about him plus the world map, he gave me all this within the matter of minutes, and I absolutely love it! More to come so stay tuned!

The art proces for this character was all over the place but it worked out great in the end. I say all over the place in a good way. The friend who made him likes this character a lot and provided me an awesome backstory.
Here is Thrum Anomalus, Grandmaster of Lightning and a proud member of the Conclave of Magic. He primarily focuses on lighting magic without dabbling into other forms of magic, but occassionly can be found practicing nature magic.
Thrum grew up in a farming community in Ziaza where he had much experience with the storms that plagued his community. Wanting to control that so that they could prosper, he began to observe the patterns of the storms and learned through his observations a bit of lightning magic. After getting a basic understanding of it, he travelled to the Republic of Corvellia to learn the more advanced techniques. After finally mastering this craft, he returned to his community and set up a powerful ongoing spell that would lessen the amount of lightning strikes (since the lightning rods of the village couldn't take it anymore). With this feat, he was seen by all as the Grandmaster of Lightning. He occasionally goes back to his village to check up on the spell and their safety; however, most of his days are spent developing the minds of new casters at the Republic's University. Thrum also sends money back to his village to help with repairs and such every month or so.
Thrum believes that he is very kind and gentle with his students. The students see him as a monster because he grades very quickly (and accurately) almost as if he is always under the effects of the charge spell. He is also a very harsh grader. So, when it comes to academics, his students fear him. Outside of class, he is very amiable and understanding. Talks a little too much but he makes sure to slow things down so that his students understand. Around the council members, he doesn't really talk much to them. Thrum would just be writing down notes and equations a lot during council meetings because he sees them as a waste of time when he could be doing research. Thrum has a nice bond with Ivo as the two are quite close as they grew up in similar envirnments. However, if it is someone he is not close with and they take an interest in his research, they will have his full attention.
He also has a solid relationship with Dahlia. Since storms all tie back to nature itself, they've established a nice friendship in regard to discussing the similarities between lightning magic and nature magic. When training his apprentice, Thrum will try to instill the idea of focusing on the signals you send from your head to your fingertips. Feel the rush when you cast a spell. Work to quicken it. More and more. Until he can get her to the point where she can easily be as fast as he is. He believes that if his apprentice can use it to speed through the battlefield while casting nature spells, they will be a force to be reckoned with Also, Thrum's apprentice being a nature caster will remind him of home, so he will be extra attentive.
When my friend told me his character came from a farming background, I knew I had to make him rather close to Ivo since they come from similar backgrounds, and I love it! More to come so stay tuned!

it has been a minute, but I am back! wanted to take a break after doing the Pride Flags, which again, thank you for the all love and support on it! for the time being, i will uploading art for my minecraft series, mainly the characters of me and my friends in the series.
Meet Gwyneira Albatross, Grandmaster of Ice and member of the Conclave of Magic. Her primary focus is, of course, ice magic, but dabbles in other forms as well when it is most convenient. When needing to get to place to place, she can turn into a snowy owl.
Gwyneira was born and raised in the Kingdom of Winsteria with her mother and younger sister, Eira. Her small family, at the time, were comfortable thanks to her father being a member of the Frostborne, and thanks to him, Gwyneira and her sister learned ice magic. However, tragedy hit the smal family when their father was killed while fighting a small resistance in Coshen. Since their mother was up there in age, Gwyneira did everything she could to sustain them with what money they had, but her mother didn't want her to sacrifice her freedom and happiness. As they got older, Eira married a retired Frostborne soldier and Gwyneira continued her ice magic studies, becoming one of the most powerful ice mages in Winsteria. She got along well with her sister's husband, but she had a bad feeling about the husband's brother, and she only grew to resent him more as time ticked away. Years later, Gwyneira traveled to the Republic to contiune honing her skills, hoping to earn the title of Cryomancer after she graduated from the university. After she graduated, when she was offered a position to sit on the council and to teach at the university, to this day, she regrets saying yes, for if she didn't, she would've gone home to save Eira, her husband, and their son from the hands of the General of the Forstborne. However, being a Grandmaster and a member on the council has its perks, as she was able to work directly beside the rulers of Winsteria, meticulously watching the General's every move and taking into account everything he said and did to her nephew and his parents. She kept her cards close to her chest before waiting for the perfect time to play her hand. Needless to say, it paid off.
Gwyneira is a strong-willed woman who doesn't tolerate injustice. One would think that since she's an ice mage, she would be very chill and mellow, however, she is the exact opposite. Gwyneira has a short temper that has resulted in her dropping room temperatures below zero. When she's upset, she can exhale a chilly breath that feels like fire (in short, hot ice). She can be impatient at times, and doesn't like to be told things last minute. Underneath all that, though, Gwyneira is very kind and has a motherly aura about her. When teaching her students at the university, her exercises are challgening, but fair. Same goes for her apprentice. Her training exercises can be a bit extreme at times but they still provide a fair challenge that she knows her apprentice can handle. If it ever got too much, she would be quick to help.
Had a lot of fun drawing her and making her backstory. While I was still writing the first book, I never intended for her to be related to one of the main characters, but I like it this way. Stay tuned for more!

No story is complete without the "outcast" character
Meet Keiran Sarkarv, a sophomore at Kayra's Magic Acacemy with a primary focus in Fire magic, but will later inherit a secondary focus in Blood magic.
Keiran was born and raised in Kayra with his parents. His father was a fire mage who was a weapon's smith and his mother ran a daycare. His love for Fire magic started when he was helping his father make a weapon, which lead him to using fire everyday when assisting his parents or the people in town. Keiran honored his mother like a saint as he loved her dearly. However, one day, she suddenly disappeared without a trace. The only one who knows why she left is his father, and after Keiran pressed him for answers with no result, their relationship strained. While his father still loves his son, Keiran resents him fot not talkng about his mother nor their family as a whole; he has no idea who he is or who his family is, and he intends to figure it out, even if his father objects.
When Keiran first started going to the academy, he was labeled as an outcast as he would always distance himself away from others and be on his own a lot. Because of this, he used to get into a lot of fights with other young mages, resulting in him going to the school's infirmary and his opponesnts to the hospital. There was a time other students suspected he practiced Blood magic, which is why he was so powerful and scary (Blood magic is not evil or bad, just labled as such because of its properties and what it can do). After Keiran met Sierra, Marria, and Edric, he opened his heart to them, and they learned that he is very intelligent and kind; he would often train with Marria and Sierra with their magic to hone their abilites. He views each of them as his siblings and loves them dearly.
Surprisingly, Keiran doesn't know what magic means to him. If he was asked this question when he was younger, he would say, "Magic is like my Momma. Beautiful and powerful. Like fire, it's a light that helps others find their way." After her disappearence, Keiran doesn't know what magic means to him anymore.
I have SO much planned for Keiran and I cannot wait to finally write it! The next few posts are going to be my character as well as my friends' characters in my story so stay tuned!

Back with another Minecraft character!
⚠️TW: child abuse, attempted murder (will be structured differently than normal so his backstory will be under the cut)
Meet Edric Albatross, a sophomore at Kayra Magic Aacademy with a primary focus in Ice magic, who will later have a secondary focus in Holy magic.
When Edric first arrived, he was the typical high school flirt; every girl wanted to be with him and every guy wanted to be him. He is very bold and often stuck-up. He likes to entertain his fans with ice shows with a cocky grin on his face. However, after he met Sierra, who saw through this facade, she found out he is really sensitive and kind. He likes to crack jokes and hang out with his friends, and he will do anything and everything in his power to protect them, even if it means laying down his own life.
At first, to Edric, magic was about power and control. If you’re in a room full of people and you’re the only one who possesses magic, you are, by definition, the most powerful person in the room, and can command the respect of others. Now, to Edric, magic is what you make it. No magic in this world is inherently evil. How you use it will determine that. In Edric's words, "Magic is like free-will. It is neither good nor evil, but whatever you do with that power will determine that."
If you want to read his backstory, you may proceed, but heed the TW above. If you don't want to read his backstor, stay tuned for the next character!
Edric is from the frigid Kingdom of Winsteria far to the north, home of the great army the Frostborne. When Edric was around 10 years old, his uncle, Icarus Ventisca, School Head of Ice at the academy, enlisted him in the Frostborne's ranks against the wishes of his parents. Icarus is the general of the Frostborne and practically rules alongside Winsteria's rulers. The general is a very cold-hearted man who loathes his nephew and his parents. When Icarus was offered to teach at the academy, he gave Edric a choice: come to Kayra and be his apprentice or be put on the front lines to die. Edric's parents tried to go to Winsteria's rulers about this matter, Icarus threatened them to have them executed for insurrection, so Edric relucantly went with his uncle. Every day was a struggle for him as Icaurs would use him as his personal punching bag, saying that he would do this to his parents if he wasn't stuck teaching lowly mages. At one point, while Edric and Icarus were training, Edric's friends found him unconscious with stab wounds from icicles and parts of his body frozen; he was practiaclly dead if his friends haven't found him in time. Then, the mark of the Frostborne on Edric's wrist "activated," giving Edric frostbite that slowly creeps up his arm, causing him immense pain. Icaurs claims this is a teaching method, but everyone, even some of the other academy School Heads agree this is extreme. Even if Edric wanted to send a letter to his parents, he didn't want to risk Icarus finding out and potentially hurting them or worse, so whenever Icarus talks of wanting to hurt his parents, Edric steps in to take on that pain.

The bean, the cinnamon roll, the baby of the story!
Meet Marria Kestrel, a freshman at Kayra's Magic Academy with a primary focus in Nature magic, who will soon pick up a secondary focus in Lightning magic.
Marria is from the Kingdom of Marvos, a nation that is heavily populated with Nature mages. Her mother and father are apothecarists who run a clinic together. Her father is a healer who worKs with different herbs to make medicine and her mother creates antidotes for different ailments and illnesses. As such, Marria learned a lot from her parents, and grew to love nature as a whole. Marria is the youngest of 5, having 3 older brothers and an older sister, and she used to work with her sister and cousin at a flower shop. She came to Kayra because of the diversity in culture and magic. She currently lives with her aunt who runs a flower shop on the edge of Kayra's captial city.
At first, Marria seems like the shy and quiet girl who always has her nose in a book. One of those statements is true. She could spend hours upon hours in the academy's library reading different books. She very energetic and bubbly, but it also leads her to being a klutz sometimes. She has a big sweet tooth and is always looking for a bakery or cafe to try their desserts. When it comes to fighting, she will lock in and do whatever it takes to keep her friends safe; she views Sierra a a big sister.
To Marria, magic is like nature itself. It's wild and out of control, but it can be tamed. To any new mage or wizard, magic starts out like a seed for them. Overtime, with enough care and attention, it will start to sprout and bloom into something beautiful. In Marria's words, "For me, I was what my father called a late bloomer. My magic didn't develop as fast as my brothers or sister, but he said that once my magic blooms, it would be the most beautiful form of magic of all."
Making this bean was so much fun! Stay tuned for more!

And here we have one of the main characters for my minecraft series!
Meet Sierra Ilona, a freshman at Kayra's Magic Academy with Evocation magic as her primatry focus, who will soon have a secondary focus in Ender magic.
Sierra was born and raised in Kayra's captial city where the academy stands. She is an only child to her parents, but when she was young, her mother had passed away, leaving her with her father. Sierra's father taught her everything she knows about magic. The reason Sierra chose Evocation as her focus is because this school of magic is very versatile, themed around magical trickery and conjuration.
Sierra has "big sister" energy to many of her friends. She is very kind and often scatterbrained at times, but she is a very diligent worker who wants to know everything she can about magic. Sierra cares deeply for her friends and doesn't tolerate bullies. When in combat, she's calculates the situation at hand before making her next attack. While it does leave her open to incoming attacks, she learns from it to fuel her drive to persevere.
To Sierra, magic is limitless. Even though there are thousands upon thousands of textbooks and spellbooks about how to use a certain spell, she believes that we do not have to be pigeon-tied to that set narrative. Magic is supposed to make you feel free, not to be shackles to your potential. If a spell says to do one thing, Sierra will take that and make it her own. In her words, "If people say there is no limit to what you can do as a person, then there should be no limit to what you can do with magic."
With these, I don't want to give too much away about the character as some of the things may be spoilers for later stories and the sequel. Stay tuned for the next character!

This one was kinda rushed, but my boyfriend pointed out to me that I have done every letter in LGBTQIA except for Queer, and so here is my take on the Queer flag! Once again, it was a bit rushed but it wouldn't be right to end this mini series without the iconic Pride Month Flag! Also for the previous post, his name is Caleb!
Pride Month ends tomorrow and I really loved doing this mini series! I might revisit this and add other flags I didn't do, but let me know what you think! Thank you to all who have suggested flags and names, this was really fun! Happy Pride everyone! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🏳️🌈

Next up we have the Aromantic flag, another I had lined up. I really love how this turned out! He is such an adorable bean and I will protect him with my life! Ik there isn't any golden-yellow in the flag, but it is a really pretty accent/contrast. And for the previous post, their name is Jordan! A friend on Discord gave me the name suggestion and I love it!
Remember to comment a name for this bean! 💚🤍🩶🖤

Another flag I did behind the scenes was the Non-Binary flag! I really love how these colors worked together, especially for the hair! And for the previous post, her name is Penelope, or Penny!
Remember to comment a name for lovely individual! Once again, this is like a lightning round of drawings that I did behind the scenes, flags that no one suggested, so get ready 💛🤍💜🖤
