Um, may I suggest anything from Tom Cardy? He's got all his stuff on Youtube. Perception Check is a really good one!

FunkyFrogBait does some awesome skits, she's also on Youtube. Most of her funny stuff is on her 'shorts' lists. She also does kinda dives into what's currently going on on tiktok and such, but her skits are really great.

B Dylan Hollis does 'vintage recipes', but he's very very entertaining and funny. All of his reviews of old recipes are short and to the point and have a lot of tongue-in-cheek humor. Never crass either.

back when the yt group lunch club (😬) was a thing, ted nivison was talking about I THINK a really popular video charlie slimecicle made at the time. I THINK. this could also potentially be chuckle sandwich. he referred to the video (it was corn btw) as charlie's magnum opus, and upon hearing any latin at all, then referred to the video as his unus annus (it was 2020 so it was topical.)

so now whenever i refer to anything as my magnum opus i HAVE to refer to it as my unus annus directly after. nobody has gotten it yet.

-was stoked to go!! He loves you and your hobbies so of course he’d love your job too

-of course managed to get front row tickets even if you didn’t give him them, he wants to see your smile up close

-filmed most of it to send to the team later; he loves bragging 😔

Soap:

-being the jokester he is? You better bet he’s practically bouncing off the walls with the idea of seeing you preform for a crowd!

-it’s his new favorite way to show you off, when you let him of course he’ll tell EVERYONE what a cool comedian you are

-probably told have the jokes to ghost later in one of soaps rants

-he’s never gone to comedy shows in person before, it feels so new to him! Especially if you tell any lighthearted jokes or stories about your partner (him)

-he’s get flustered and if you ever pointed him out while on stage? Nope, he’s bright red so much that you can see it from under his mask

-got too lost in your voice to hear half the jokes. :/

After hearing that Halsin of all people hates Turnips, I thought it was hilarious that a man who claims to charish all Oak Father's creations, hates the vegetable.

I immediately was reminded of a hilarious comedy sketch about Turnips by a comedian named John Pinette. These would definitely be his own words about that damn vegetable.

Got an idea for a oc, a fat dworf comedian. She’s an extremely obese silver dworf living in Zareen, being a popular comedian as well as a prominent fat positivity advocate.

She’s like John Pinette or Fluffy, a lot of her comedy routines revolving around fat jokes & eating. However never in a mean way, always laughing along with her fellow fat people instead of at them. Also going donating a lot of her shows proceeds to charities and campaigning for fat friendly clothing and amenities.

She sounds so fun, I love her already! We need a name for her!

I'm thinking a John Pinette parody, like...Joan Panzett? lol

Fantasy anthropologist: On Halflings:

[Inspiration for dialogue directly from John Pinette’s Itailian Buffet bit]

Elves have weaponized perfection, gnomes have weaponized mischief, and dwarves have weaponized weapons, but halflings have weaponized hospitality. They dont mean to, its just in their nature to feed and nurture all those they call Friend. And it is not in their nature to understand the limits of a non-halfling sized stomach.

Halflings often default to “The Mother” of the party, often treating wounds or installing themselves in charge of food.

They dont know that sometimes their love can be smothering, but they do know that taking it away is a very effective punishment for many an infraction.

Once, my party stopped over, out of rations, bickering amongst ourselves in hunger one night, into a halfling inn.

“We’re hungry, please feed us” our gnome said to the waiter in halfling.

“Wah-hey! Look at you eh!” The halfling exclaimed.

Our dwarf nudged our gnome, “We are dying of hunger” our gnome pleaded.

“Eh we gonna feed you, your gonna explode all over the wall!” He boasted.

“Can we order?” I asked pleadingly.

“No. First, we gonna bring out some food, then we gonna take your order.”

I thought he might bring out some breadsticks or potato fries. They brought out pies and cookies and rolls and mashed potatoes and gravy and roasted fish.

“Youre not scarin’ me!” My dwarf boasted, I began to fear.

They brought out food for hours, it was a mountain of plates piling up, belts were loosened, removed, and used as lassos to corral errant delicacies.

“hey stop ordering, this is enough” “I didn’t order this” “theyre just bringing out stuff, lets get outta here!” We ran, but we had a friend, our gnome, he was too skinny, we should have known, he shouldnt have come! Halfway through the meal he died! They kept hitting him “what you dont like it!?” The halflings interrogated.

“He’s dead!” Our elf cried, “Pass that over here” our dwarf relented. We finally managed to escape when our elf asked the waiter to see if he had any fine elven wine, an excellent diversion that gave us enough time to limp out the door. We had to pile up and hide behind sheep on the roof all morning as the waiter banged pans together like a siren’s call for breakfast. Once he had gone back to work we tossed a sack of gold through the window as payment, we assumed the worst had happened to our gnome. It was only years later we learned that our gnome lived, and stayed with that chef, he adapted well to his new environment, particularly the diet. He showed us his mechanical box for toasting both sides of a slice of bread at once. We apologized for leaving him but he insisted now he never even needed to work for a meal but instead found employment fixing broken clockwork and gizmos. He was, in a word: rotund. In a shape: circular.
