Sleeping beside Arthur

Arthurs hand is reaching out for you in his sleep. The sudden movement of his arm awakens you softly. For a second you are unaware of the situaton or where you even are but his muffled noises remind you that you fell asleep beside the person you love most . You remembered how peaceful he looked as he was drifting into sleep and how your inner world reflected that feeling on his face.

Resting with him was exactly what it was supposed to be. Resting. The resting of body and souls coming together. You remember how you gently pulled him into your body and how he reached every part of you. How your vibrations became one hum send out into the universe. You remember his brown curls stroking your face while he moved back and forth. His heavenly grin, as if he finally found bliss within you.

Arthurs hand is now resting on your chest, twitching. He must be dreaming. Your hand is finding its way to the palm of his, and just like a reflex, automatically he`s closing his fist, grabbing your finger, holding on even to the tiniest part of you. Noticing how his muscles stopped twitching is a reasurrance that body contact with his one and only immediately makes him feel saver. Even unaware of it and fast asleep, deep inside he knows you are with him. Nothing can hurt him now.

You dont dare to move. Don`t dare to interrupt the moment, focusing on your finger wrapped up into his hand, his graceful fingers with the bitten down nails which know how to hold you like no other does.

Another movement of his body. Arthurs hand still clinging onto you, he turns over to face you. His sleepy cigatette breath now close to your face. Its dark, but you get a glipse of his mouth and the scar that is connecting his nose with his upper lip like lines of a map. It`s tempting, to kiss the tip of his nose and follow the curved line until you get a taste of him. You smile into you pillow because you want to kiss it so badly its almost silly to think of.

Don`t wake him. Let him lay there with you in peace. You will kiss his face in the morning. every line carved into his skin, every pore of his neck. You will make him pancakes and eat them together, between the sheets that smell like him. Between these our walls that are now a home to you. Because his arms are.

No, dont you dare to move before he opens his eyes to ask you if you slept just as peacefully as he did. You`ll see him joyful and refreshed. Humming away a song he heard in the radio the other day, while brushing his teeth. And your heart will be so full of love for this man, you cannot wait for him to come home and tell you about all the kids he made a lil bit happier than they were before he danced for them.

But for now. It´s just you and your finger save in his hand.

Oh, Anon, I love this one so much <3 I could write an entire fic for this. (I might even...) But for now. Here we go: How would Arthur Fleck and the Joker react to you as their significant other being kidnapped?

Arthur:

It either happened by accident (like a robbery or someone taking hostages at the place you work, and you are one of the few they take along) or you’d been taken on purpose (by one of his enemies).

He’ll find out either via the news on the television, or he’ll receive a personal note. Probably a letter thrown at him attached to a rock. In that latter case, he’ll have a huge bump on his head, his headwound bleeding all over his clothes.

He’d be devastated. No joke here. He has such bad luck. If he comes home to find you have indeed vanished, he will have a laughing fit that never seems to end. His world will shatter.

He’d be all over the place – uncertain of what to do and how to get you back.

If his mom is still alive, then he will be packing to go after you and she will be the one to stop him. Like “What are you doing, Happy? Shouldn’t you leave that to the police?”

Oh, he’ll go to the police all right. It might take him a try or two, perhaps three or four, but in the end, his patience wears thin and he’ll smash his fist on the counter and demand that they’ll bring you back.

He’ll probably feel better once the officers tell them they’ll be on the case. Probably even cracks a smile when he heads back home, feeling good about himself.

But then, once at home, he’ll be reminded of what fate could be in store for you, either by seeing a news item about your vanishing, or by seeing something else that will trigger him.

He’ll think of so many ways that he could lose you. All dark ways, growing increasingly more disturbing as he thinks and thinks, and then, he will just explode.

No, the police won’t be able to find you in time, he’ll think.

He’ll have to do it himself.

He’ll don his Carnival clothes and dress up like a clown. He’ll sit in front of his mirror and stare at himself while he imagines a thousand ways he’ll kill the ones who took you from him.

His costume is too jolly. He’ll take it off again.

He’ll dye his hair. Green. The color you once suggested him.

He’ll put on his funeral suit. It’s the only nice suit he has. It’s red.

He’ll take the gun.

He’ll rescue you all right. You’re in safe hands.

Joker:

If someone took you away from him he’d snap. Oh, he’d be right like Arthur. He’d lose his mind at first, nearly laugh his head off in a fit of painful laughter that makes his stomach ache and his ribs sore.

But then, he’d be on it.

No one is safe around him. Not until he has you back in his arms.

Even his henchmen can expect a gun aimed at their heads if they nag him, distract him or stand in his way (even by accident). Everyone is on their toes while Joker is like this.

Nothing is too dirty. Joker will use all the tricks he has to get you back.

Need bribing? He bribes people. Need convincing through torture? He tortures people. He hires the nastiest of men to work for him if he needs their help to get you back.

It’s all damn messy because no way is he letting the people who did this to you get out of it lightly. A simple killing? Too merciful. Expect pain and slow torturous deaths.

Even those who only slightly assisted or stood by to watch. None of them are safe kids. He’ll punish all of ‘em.

And yes, they die. Even the less significant bystanders whom he blames for your disappearance. The receptionist who let the bad guys in, or the nightguard who had fallen asleep so they could get you out. Expect their gruesome deaths to be reported in the next morning’s newspaper.

And he’ll make sure that his message is sent out into Gotham and far beyond. You are his. No one should mess with you.

He’ll make sure that everybody knows he came for you. He is the first one you see entering the room to rescue you. And you leave the building carried bridal style in his arms. Him smiling down at you while the building behind the two of you explodes in a light show of fireworks.

Arthur/Joker

You love him madly for rescuing you. You have no idea how much he has gone through to come and save you, but you understand how maddening it must have been for him, how hard and how lonely. It had been the same for you. So scared, so afraid to lose him.

Of course you’ll find out about some of the casualties later on. But you’ll never find out the full extent of his terror. He’ll distract you at the right times so you’ll miss it on the news. Or tear out pages of magazines. That coffee spot spilled on that article in the paper? Threw it out, nothing worth reading in it anyway. Just some advert for knickers or something.

He’ll try and keep some of the details hidden from you because he fears that it will scare you away.

He’ll be your hero. Always. Even if others think him to be a villain.

Flirting Headcanons for Arthur Fleck and Joker

Arthur Fleck

Arthur's style of flirting is almost reminiscent of a schoolboy, in my opinion 

He's someone who's been inspired by old Hollywood films and music from the Golden Age

His definition of "flirting" might consist of doing a little dance routine, maybe something reminiscent of Fred Astaire. If he can get someone to play a little music, he'd be more than happy to have "The Way You Look Tonight" or "Cheek to Cheek" play while he performs for you.

the little dance might end with him giving you a little bow, and you would clap for him

"Thanks…You liked it?" He ambles towards you, his hands clasped in front of him like a little boy

"Yeah, I liked it. It was very cute."

"I'm cute? Thanks…uh, you're…you're beautiful." Arthur swayed a little. "Would you…Do you wanna get, maybe a coffee together sometime?"

After the two of you start dating, Arthur would definitely continue flirting with you in the most innocent of ways

Joker's style of flirting is 1000x more forward and direct than Arthur's 

If he finds a person that catches his fancy, he'll probably just walk up to them and offer a smooth compliment

He might get their attention with a touch, maybe lightly grab their arm and get into their personal space

After you tell him your name, he'd nod approvingly and inch his fingers towards your cheek.

He’s so silent treatment coded.

He knows the kind of attention that’s inevitable when you have a pretty girl, even worse when they’re sociable and friendly - the man cannot hold a conversation like a normal person unlike you (because he just isn’t a normal person).

It’s so hard for him to understand that you’re just nice without ulterior motives, but he isn’t confident that others have good intentions. His line of work keeps that in the back of his head. He can’t separate the cruelty of humanity with the kindness he only sees in you.

The last thing he wants is for you to see him be aggressive. He would rather bite his tongue in every instance to avoid confrontation. When he considers getting involved he just… looms.

The way your eyes gravitate to behind who you’re talking to and they meet Joe hovering over you two usually makes them greet him nervously, they can tell you two are close by the way you smile at him all tender.

He’s silent there and he’s silent at home. It’s just who he is; brewing on what he wants to say and not wanting to say it unless it’s perfectly phrased. It never is.

So he looms in the kitchen quiet, only grunting in affirmation or rejection. You notice that but remain quiet and tread carefully to brighten his mood; you really love the conversation with people in passing. They don’t mean anything just because your pals happen to be men here and there. He just can’t quit the thought that every man wants you as lewdly as he does. Every man must want you and eat you with his eyes.

Silent brushing your teeth, silent in the shower, silent crawling into bed. He turns his back to you. Brooding all boyish despite the age in his face screaming man.

You reach out, tracing the tattoo on him: a perfect circle. He tenses, breath hitching.

You coo, a breath beneath the hum of the fan and the re-run of I Love Lucy playing for white noise: “You’re the only man I love Joey baby.”

It’s 2am when he’s presses that warm kiss to your forehead and his muscles relax. He hums an apology into your hair. You don’t need to overcomplicate the way you say it. Just let him huff in that moment.

so, rewatched the movie Again��️ (are we really surprised) and some more realizations:

in sam’s room, he has a balcony, but he also has a sunroom! i thought it was a bathroom initially but as i watched it more, i realized there was 2 entry points and that it couldn’t be a bathroom because of the door type and at the last watch, i realized it was a sunroom with a wide shot before he yeets his bag into the pool (like a drama queen)

robin spent the last day recounting home videos of george and sam to george before he finally passed

again, sam pretty in tune to robin’s emotions as well and knows when she’s upset even if she doesn’t visibly show it right away (like when she is finally told by george that he has cancer and he watches her get in the car w the boys and immediately looks to george because knows Something Is Up)

thinking about while he would have a greater range of food to try and eat, he still has comfort foods from The Tism™️, and one of them is lasagna.

i finally watched joker (2019), and 1) amazing 2) joaquin would be a GREAT faceclaim for a (half) brother of george so behold, i’ve decided to expand the family + i finally gave names to george’s dad and mom so behold!

the monroes & hughes

Dean Hughes (Joaquin Phoenix)

at time of film in 2001: 40 years old, 5 years younger than George. Father is Raymond Monroe, half-brother to George, a fruity pebble and has 3 kids with his husband all adopted. when kids start asking about his family, he starts to look into it more and finds Sam.

Marlene Hughes (Nicole Kidman)

Was unaware she was “the other woman”, and met Ray at a bar. One night stand ensued, but she never contacted him regarding Dean. Made it work with her and Dean even though they didn't have the best life, but it only motivated Dean to really make something of himself.

Raymond Monroe (Will Patton)

Drove drunk when George was 16, killing Alice, unnamed mother, and the unnamed daughter who became disabled after the head on collision. He did survive the crash with moderate to minimal injuries. Considering that George also recognized abuse and actively fought against harming Sam the way he was hurt, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ray’s father was also an abusive alcoholic.

Alice Monroe (Sigiourney Weaver)

Wife to Raymond and mother to George, a very soft, kind woman that did stay with Ray out of fear of what life would be like as a single mother. Unaware that Ray had cheated on her and had another son with Marlene Hughes. George mentions to Sam that he would have loved her and that she was a cool person or something along the lines of that.

Robin's mom and very devoted stay at home mom, loved her children and grandkids dearly and passed of lung cancer from smoking so much.

Charles Sanders (Patrick Stewart)

Robin's dad and was a strict, religious man. Loved his family, but had some odd rules from learning from his own parents. Actively tried to be affectionate to his daughters even though it was sometimes difficult.

Robin's older sister, has limited contact with her from moving to NYC to pursue a Broadway career, eventually settled in Maine as a mystery romance writer.

Description: Basically, it's just my headcanon that these two grew up together in the Career Academy but, while undeniably strong, this character didn't really display the traits of a cold blooded killer that would've put him in the running to enter the Games, and instead he had a more cheerful and kind and gentle disposition. Thea on the other hand was ruthless and cold, but despite that an unlikely friendship blossomed between the two of them (though Thea probably didn't admit they were friends for a good while LMAO). From there, we can definitely plot it out, but I definitely would like for them to have remained friends all these years and for him to have helped Thea through her trauma.

I'd love for this character to be involved in the rebellion, which would essentially be the reason he volunteered to enter the Games this year (much to Thea's surprise bc we love that angst.) How, why, and for how long he's been involved is totally up to you! We can flesh that out as well if you'd like my input on it. Status: Taken

He's very family oriented and cares so deeply about everyone around him, especially people he calls friends and family. He's a bit of flirt but in a very sweet and charming way, his favorite 'pet name' to use is sweets, and he's just all around a pretty happy and confident person.

When she finally got out she found her way to Mystic Falls (she was trying to find Nik and knew he might be with the Mikaelson's) and began killing again before she ran into the Mystic Falls Gang who accidentally sent her to another world where Sam and Dean would eventually find her after getting word about a vampire killing it's way through a town in Virgina. Luckily for her the Winchester boys ended up not killing her right away as they had never seen a vampire like her and somehow they managed to get her humanity back on, something she hadn't even know had been off for the last century ever since she had turned. Before the war Elyza was very quiet and reserved though a bit rebellious. And the only person she really trusted was her best friend, besides him she kept to herself. After the war and becoming a vampire she started to become more confident and outgoing. She’s the kind of girl who knows what she wants and goes for it. She puts on a tough act but she is secretly a softie. She’s pretty easy going and can make friends easily though she likes to keep a small circle of people she trusts.
