Chory is a multi Emmy-nominated producer who has executive producing credit on every single live-action program that has sprouted from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He also has this same credit on some shows that have thrived outside of the MCU (Legion for example). He has been a strong presence helping Loeb steer the company wheel by overseeing all physical productions.

This could be a big shakeup: Jim Chory, the co-lead of Marvel Television, has left the company.

According to Deadline, Chory, who oversaw physical production, left several weeks ago of his own volition.  Chory, who built the studio alongside Head Jeph Loeb, served as executive producer on all of Marvel’s live-action programming.   Before working for Marvel, he worked on shows like Heroes, Smash, American Dreams, and The District.

Deadline reports that Chory thought it was a good time to leave the company, as there are currently no shows in development that have reached the greenlight or pilot stages.

There’s no word yet on a possible replacement for Chory, and it’s not entirely clear what this will mean for the direction of Marvel’s television division going forward.  But whatever shape it takes, this development certainly seems significant.

“The Gifted” ikinci sezon prömiyeri 25 Eylül’de FOX (ABD)‘de yayınlanacak. Ülkemizde FX‘de yayınlanan dizinin, henüz reklamları başlamamış olsa da, biraz gecikmeli yayınlanacak gibi gözüküyor. Eylül başında ilk sezonun tekrarlarını yayınlamaya başlayan FX, her hafta ikişer bölüm yayınlıyor. Yayın akışına göre ikinci sezonun Türkiye’de en erken başlangıç tarihi 24 Ekim.

Le comic prend vie

Décidément, ça ne s’arrête pas aujourd’hui. Après les Defenders, c’est au tour des jeunes Runaways de se montrer via une première bande-annonce diffusée lors d’une conférence de Hulu. Bon, la qualité n’est clairement pas au rendez-vous, mais les excitantes premières images permettent de l’oublier.

J’aime beaucoup l’ambiance qui se dégage de cette bande-annonce. Ça a l’air coloré, dynamique et fun. Bref, un premier aperçu prometteur à mon goût. Il faut maintenant confirmer ça. Avec ça, on a aussi droit à une photo et la ressemblance avec le comic est troublante 🙂

La série Runaways est prévue sur Hulu en 2018.

Elle est produite par Marvel Television en association avec ABC Studios pour Netflix. Les acteurs sont Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin et Allegra Acosta.

Chaque adolescent pense que leurs parents sont le mal. Que faire alors si vous avez découvert qu’ils l’étaient vraiment en fait ? « Marvel’s Runaways » est l’histoire de six adolescents différents qui peuvent à peine se blairer, mais qui doivent s’unir contre un ennemi commun – leurs parents.
