Confession:

Totally controversial opinion, but I'm glad Romance Club did not implement gender of choices or more male mc. Otherwise, some players from other games like Choices (prime example) will flock to RC and will cause drama every time the mc in every new book is not goc. Upcoming Choices books aren't even coming out, and I already saw some guys spamming about goc already. It's like the only thing they care about. Rc community doesn't need new problems. A lot of games in many genres make you play male protagonist already, and you don't see many female players that whine, but if the game has a female protagonist, there will be a tantrum. It's time there's some games that cater to or are at least female-centric.

September Choices Insiders Tidbits

All the brain storm ideas for the weapons in Blades 3! Number 3 for the magic crossbow would have been epic! It looks like a machine gun. I wonder if that's why they reverted back to a more crossbow look. Number 3 shield is so pretty! It look like a shield of the cosmos.

I am so so so excited for TeFe tomorrow and AoU coming later this month!! This is a good month of books. And obviously Plus One is coming out in October and Blades 3 in November.

Oooo interesting, so our hunch that it would be about vampires and werewolves was right. They're throwing in TCH references so I wonder if this book is going to take place in a different world, like a fantasy world. I hope we don't play as human. We probably will but it would be really cool if mc was a fairy or a selkie or something magical. Being a human dropped into a fantasy world with LIs more powerful than us is getting old.

Funnily enough, each year more girls in the US are named James, which is the LI's official name, than Trey, which they prefer to be called as. Still, the proportion of girls being given either of those names in the last 40 years has been less than 1% (0.25-0.55% for Trey and 0.43% for James).

I understand the LI's father giving his child his own name, which is a quirky thing the old money folks like to do, and I get the idea behind the name Trey (it means "3" as in James Tibideaux III) but in general I'm not a fan of PB giving GOC LIs inherently boys' names. IDK, maybe it's some new trend among parents to hijack opposite gender's names but in the game it usually hints at the lack of care for female versions of GOC LIs.

When Jack was kicked out of the Garden, his box was found by Isaac's father, who then brought it home (we all know the story from there).

Isaac became Jack's new owner/brother when opening the box. I think it'd be cool that for anyone opening Jack's box, he then gets their memories to help create a bond.

Jack has a hard time remembering his past before Isaac. For as much as he knows, his purpose was to be Isaac's friend.

Jack is well a Jack of all trades, lol. He's an old man with too much time on his hands while being blessed with talent from a certain red character:)

Jack is old old. He only thinks he was created around the 1800s, but boi doesn't know it was more like 1566 or 1600. ( I made an entire timeline to keep track of my nonsense).

Jack is one of the few who are able to shape-shift into a human with the only defect being his eyes. Glowing blue/silver eyes aren't exactly human, you know.

Ma boi Entity

Entity is an agent of chaos doing whatever whenever they please.

They are the first and only anomaly/demon that can successfully shape shift into a human form without defects. Only the most powerful can perform such a task without too much strain to their original forms. Anomalies created after the 2nd or 3rd generation are lesser than the ones before.

Originally, I had it where they didn't actually talk it was more telepathic, but after some thinking, I think they would have the voice of a broken radio. Like it hurts to listen to them talk, so preferably, they take on more comforting voices, whether it be a parent or cartoon character. Personally, I hear them with the voice of either Will Wood or the singer from Mindless Self Indulgence.

I don't like creating one-sided characters, so the idea of them acting like a white girl holding a Starbucks coffee with the song Barbie Girl playing in the back ground while also being the most powerful and destructive being in this known universe is funny to me.

Willie boi

Will plays an old Yamanha guitar he got from his Pa (granddaddy). Well, most of what Will owns is his Pa's. His house and everything in it were given to him when he passed away. You can find him playing it on the front porch.

His Pa later died in the hospital due to severe injury caused by fighting off some feral monsters off his property. (Living in more rural areas is more dangerous due to law enforcement and the GOC being further out from reach). Will blames himself for his death, saying if he wasn't so far away, he would have been there in a heartbeat.

Will carries a firearm while putting up cams around the property to keep an eye out for and to track the ferals around the area to hopefully take revenge on em.

Hey there! It’s been a while!

How are you all doing?

Well, 05-1 and 05-2 are busy with a giant containment breach (Site 19- been going on for about a week now), 05-3 is in a meeting with GOC officials, 05-4 is... I don't know, 05-6 is probably having a great time with 05-7, 05-8 is training, 05-9 has decided it's a good idea to fucking leave the council, 05-10 died at some point, 05-11 is still yelling at people, 05-12 has adopted another cat, and 05-13 got a new dress.

for the lovelies who follow me for my fluttercord fics – I've been doing some math to try and estimate how long my they will be, and:

Goddess of Chaos: Around 60-90k words. Might even reach 100, though I wanna try and keep it concise. It's a project that will probably take me years since 1) I have a lot planned for it and 2) I'm a huge perfectionist (especially when it comes to this fic specifically). Still, I really want to complete it. It will probably be ~20 chapters long, but that's harder to estimate.

The Ghosts of Albert Lane: 20-30k words. Shorter story with shorter chapters. I'm anticipating 7 of them, give or take.

My ultimate goal till the end of the year would be to finish TGOAL and post 3 new GOC chapters, but this might not be possible, (and this next part will be a bit rant-y) Basically, I'm having a really hard time writing stuff. Mostly because my attention span is kind of fucked, like I can barely sit down long enough to watch a movie or even read anymore, which has never happened before. I'm trying to look into why that might be, it's a bit puzzling but that's where my mind is at rn.

I really appreciate people's patience when it comes to this, and I'm also super grateful for anyone who liked and commented on my fics. I know everyone always says this but I genuinely didn't expect anyone to read those 😭 I started writing GOC on what was basically a grief-induced whim, and now there are so many people excited for it that it actually makes me a bit nervous. I don't want it to be disappointing, but all I can promise to do is try my best ☝🏻

Anyway, this is just a general update for the couple of people who are invested. If you read this far here's a kiss on the cheek mwah
