We also got what looks like a tiny teeny teaser for Who. Leaving us hungry for so much more.

Obviously from the description we were given for this song, the photos and these two teasers, this song will be heavy on the guitar, although this clip did throw me off, seeing that I was getting the feeling it's going to be more on the electric guitar sound rather than acoustic guitar.

Worth bringing up again for the cute little coincidence of them being the complimentary color duo of purple and yellow with the hoodie colors and JKs boxing gloves

Purple is of course their/our color and yellow IS it's complimentary color on the color wheel... But it's still really freaking cute!!

Remember that time JM used nothing but pics of JK in Hoodies as his muse for his Hoodie design? If it were any other person on the planet, celeb, random person & they took a whole slew of pics of one particular person, the one person they're accused of dating/having a crush on & used them as inspiration for their design, there would not be a conversation about them being brothers or not close, being had. This was one of the most boyfriend things I've ever seen JM do. He loves his man & it shows.

Please!! He is so unbearably cute! That was for their artist merch designs!

And i think it's sooooo cute. Easier to see photos of some of the hoodies he referenced. And i think it's so cute that two of the photos included also showed JK using gifts Jimin gave him. The red hoodie was a gift to JK from Jimin and in the other he is holding the bag Jimin gifted to him for his Birthday

But I'll discuss more about it since I haven't talked about it in detail.

Let's get into, shall we?

Yellow and Purple reminds me of two people, Jimin and Jungkook. Its their colors

We saw these colors stand out here too:

Jimin released two solo albums: FACE and MUSE.

In both these albums Jungkook was mentioned.

Jimin said that he did not want to include any other artists in FACE because the album was too personal. But Jungkook was a part of FACE. He was credited for doing background vocals for LETTER.

In my opinion Jimin was very much capable of doing the bg vocals for LETTER just like how he carried the rest of the song excellently on his own. The only reason he wanted Jungkook in the song was because:

1) It is a song Jimin wrote for and with Jungkook in mind

2) FACE is an autobiographical album. Its personal to Jimin. And Jungkook is an important and irreplaceable part in Jimin's personal life

3) Jimin is singing (reading a love letter) to Jungkook and Jungkook's voice in the bg is like he is answering/acknowledging Jimin's letter

Now we will get back to MUSE.

In MUSE too Jungkook gets mentioned. Directly and Indirectly.

Directly like this:

Indirect but very LOUD and CLEAR.

That face in the billboard resembles a man's facial structure.

In my opinion, it is Jungkook

Jimin's singing "Who is my heart waiting for" and the billboard falls down as an answer to his question. Cause it literally falls down after Jimin sings "Who is my heart waiting for".

Because its the person in the billboard whom his heart was waiting for all along. Also, there's no question mark after the WHO in that billboard. Again, because the person in the billboard is the WHO he was waiting for. It is no more a question but an answer. He is showing us the answer to his question.

And the MV ends with a little rainbow.

Taeyang had done this exact same thing with the billboard in his ENL MV in 2014.

In ENL Taeyang showed his girlfriend, who is now his wife, on a billboard and later he announced that they were dating.

When I heard about this I immediately got reminded of Jikook in 2016 during their PUMA fan sign event.

On April 2 2016 a fan spotted Jimin wearing a Pororo band aid and asked him where he got it from. Jimin said Jungkook gave it to him. Jungkook was also wearing the same band aid. It was Jungkook's idea that both of them wear the same band aids.

Both of them weren't hurt or injured but was just wearing those band aids.

Why were they wearing it if they weren't injured?

For this let's go back to Jan 2016.

On Jan 24 2016 Zico released I'm You, You Are Me MV. In the MV, Zico and his romantic interest are seen wearing similar band aids.

So, I think its not new for Jikook to do such romantic couple things.

Now, let's come back.

While Jimin knows he can't directly share to the world about this amazing person who captured his heart, he knows he can use his art as a medium for this purpose. Art is a safe medium to express his feelings, to celebrate his love and identity while also protecting his and his loved one's privacy. To me it felt like he was subtly asserting his truth to the world.

So, yeah these are my thoughts on the topic.

Jikook Week 27 Complete ✔️(11/06 - 18/06/2024)

Their twenty seventh week in the military is now complete. They are hanging in there even though it is far from being the place either of them really want to be. Physically they look well but their handwritten Festa letters speak to how much they miss performing. I hope the fact that there is now less than a year to go and that Jin is out there carrying the BTS torch for them all will give them strength to continue even on the most tedious and slow days.

This week we celebrate another seven days under their belt with a look at what they were up to in June 2019.

Festa 2019 was in full swing and on 11/06 Big Hit released this JK memories of BTS video with a Euphoria remix as a backing track. Lots and lots of JK and Jimin is either there in front of the camera with him (albeit mostly cropped out) or behind the camera with lens focused lovingly on his Jungkook. They've been causing problems for Big Hit content editors for years.

For the big day itselt (13/06) Jimin prepared a gift for ARMY. It's the first time I've ever seen this video and I love how he captures the personality of each of the members (Hobi and RM in particular are hilarious) as well as giving us a glimpse of what it means to go on tour together.

It was a time of peak happiness for the BTS team before COVID sent them spiraling along with the rest of the planet. The BTS Festa dinner that year was Bangtan Attic a festival of yellow and purple. Gone were the doubts of the previous year and they had a pretty frank and humorous conversation about their past, their present and future.

There is so much going on here it's difficult to pick out highlights but one thing is very clear, BTS really begin to move forward as a team when the powers that be let Jin and Jimin drop the personas they had been assigned at debut and let them be themselves.

On 15-16/06, BTS were in Busan for 5th Muster Magic Shop.

5th Muster is one of the holy grails of jikook's history so much so that there are already full posts exploring this concert series including this amazing post by @wingzie. The ring incident in Busan still has me scratching my head. We never heard anything about it after that day.

The Busan boys were also in action on Vlive while BTS was in Busan. Jimin went live on the 15/06 and was positively glowing. The show had gone well and he was still on a high from the overseas tour. He wanted us to know how thankful he was for ARMY's support. He showed us Gwangan Bridge all lit up in purple...

... and he spent time talking about his martial arts training including cutting bamboo, newspaper slicing and extinguishing candles with a sword (a skill he retains to this day).

The next day it was Jungkook's turn. His room set up was identical to Jimin's so also overlooking the river but he had the blinds down so no view of the Gwangan Bridge that night.

He was in an excellent mood and opened a bottle of wine to celebrate - just two glasses - a rule he has since put aside. He talked about how he wanted to get back to GCF filming but with their schedule he hadn't been able to settle upon a topic.

He explained that he couldn't make the live very long because some of the staff were staying up to monitor it and wouldn't be able to rest until he had finished. This is what he said about that.

"We need to be considerate of others. Only then can we understand each other and get close to each other and become one"

I don't think he was still talking about the staff at this point. Look at that cheeky satisfied smile behind the glass. Happy times in 2019.

I always knew JM is close to JK’s family and JK is close to JM’s family (they are basically part of each other’s families) since their families were always so supportive and accepting, but seeing JK’s brother posting photo with JM makes me so emotional. 🥲

So at one point, on jungkooks brothers instagram, there was only one post that he allowed to tag him and it was a drawing of Jimin, jungkook, and bam. It’s not there anymore, but in the past, that was the only one that showed up under the tagged posts on his instagram. And people have screenshots of posts that he’s liked that were either edits of jikook together or of just Jimin or just jungkook (I’m not sure if he liked posts of other members though). He’s also posted instagram stories of his dogs and they were wearing like these clothes that were similar to the pijamas that jikook wore in the life goes on music video. And another one where one dog wore something that was purple and the other wore the same but was in yellow (people talk about this because of the whole yellow and purple thing between jikook). What are you thoughts? I know the whole stories thing is just a bunch of speculation but I wanted to add it for more context as to why some people may think something is going on. ❤️

My first and only thought: I think it’s fucking weird that people keep tabs on BTS’ family members. It’s clearly not because they care about these people as individuals, but because of their association with BTS and what their posts/actions might hint at for their ship, if applicable. And even then, they’re all speculating but in an extremely invasive way. Shameless.

I think quite a few of us have been frustrated by one or two Jikook accounts on here that insist cautious Jikookers are not welcome. So what if we are cautious? At least we don't make stuff up!

JM and JK seem really good right now and that is what matters. JK confirmed he and Jimjn drew the cloud shape whale together.

Some accounts just need to be less PUSHY. Let us breathe and think for ourselves. I am not here for a purple and yellow kool-aid moment. If we need a moment to question things, let us have the moment.

We should always be doubtful and cautious and put things into question , unless something is confirmed! Otherwise , we'd become like the cult.

I saw the picture, but didn't make the connection with Jack. I think it's a coincidence.

Jungkook 3 (or 4) Wlives on 14 March 2023

A Jikook filled event, with and without JM even being there (physically or virtually).

Let's talk about JK, the non conformist, the rebel with a cause, who decided to give us a 3 part date on White day.

And yes, I'm 100% sure most army believe he was on a date with them. Question, my friends, is which 'army' that was exactly...

One thing for sure, JK showed up on white day, and right through all three lives, scratch that, all 4 lives, he weaved in JM. JM, their relationship, was inserted into every single one of those lives, one way or another.

White day

A significant day for couples in SK (Japan and China as well). The loved one that received the gift on Valentine's day is on the giving side on White day.

We also know they went out to a restaurant with friends, a restaurant they used to frequent and ever since the photo of them there leaked they stopped visiting.

Oh, and yes, lest forget JK's cover to Only then was gifted to 'army' on White day 2018.

So, white day is meaningful to couples and is meaningful to JM and JK as well.

I know that there are many that don't believe in the Jikook number theories. Think it is a coincidence. Think that 8 November has no significance to them and that they don't seem to conveniently keep coincidently mentioning these numbers or seemingly mention numbers that have to do with said date. All a coincidence.

The playing with the hair, the showing of the tattoos, the glasses at one point. Couldn't help but think of that JK created clip. Especially after JK tells us he could actually see properly and only brought the glasses because he thought he'd look good in them, lol.

Purple jacket (nothing underneath, ahm...) and white beanie, for the winter, ski lodge, vibe.

Purple a colour we know they both revert to many times. It's army, it's JK and JM (purple and yellow).

It's a little hard to tell if it's the same chain. Especially because it's a plain silver chain with no pendant. But it definitely looks similar. 🤷‍♀️

Timing, outfits, accessories, all good and well, just more brush strokes to that big ass neon coloured sign JK was painting for us telling us this was no coincidence. The lives on white day, a date with 'army' when 'army' was far far away.

But if those were the brush strokes to the sign, where is the sign itself, you ask.

JK, out of no where says there's a song he never sang for us live, and goes looking for this song (it didn't come up on his playlist, he went looking for it).

It felt to me like JK doesn't frequently listen to this song. It's not on his playlist, he didn't know the lyrics (unlike other songs he did know the lyrics to).

You know, the one he posted when JM just got released from hospital Feb 2022. Same cover that he timed at 1:18 min.

Felt it was an interesting choice of song, given it just come up on his playlist, nor seemingly, is it one he listens to too much (the second part is my conclusion).

Live 3

Falling

Singing Falling, knowing the lyrics kind of proves my previous point. A song listened to a lot as opposed to one that probably isn't but suited a point JK wanted to make or suited a mood JK was in at the time.

This is a song liked by JM and JK, we got to hear JM singing it during Festa 2020.

Anyway, JK released this song on the 4th anniversary of his and JM's trip to Tokyo.

Another coincidence? I don't think so.

Well, obviously we got JK mentioning JM in the first live when There for you came up.

In live 2 JM actually shows up. And JK finds the need to explain to him about how this is part two and how he changed outfits for this part, lol.

Nice use of honorifics there JK.

Well, not at first. He rectifies it by opening the next sentence with hyung, lol.

First instance JK rectified. But when JK thought JM left the live he got all commando on him, this time leaving the honorifics behind completely, calling him to come back.

Foreshadowing?

Fly away butterfly.

Live 4

Let's talk about live 4. Because JK wasn't going to come back for another part 4. Given, he ended part 3 while crying (yes, he was crying) and I'm assuming forgot to convey the message he wanted to and for which he came back with live 4, which was around 5 minutes long.

In live 4 he tells us he wanted to say goodbye properly. It's not that he didn't say goodbye at the end of part 3. Just saying.

He continues to say that he wants us to be happy. Be happy even if they aren't there. The translation here is a little different on Weverse than it was from the translation accounts. Weverse translation being happy even if they aren't "here", while the accounts were translating it as be happy "even without us". Kind of rings differently.

Him bringing it up then and there made me think that perhaps that's what was one of the things on his mind when he was pensive prior to the tears forming in live 3.

Anyways, JK came back to also (or perhaps to mainly) convey another message:

So yeah, JK telling us to look forward to midnight, something amazing is coming, "please look forward to that".

He meant this amazing thing, btw:

Hyping up the boyfie.

All while knowing what's coming is truly amazing.

The tears

Fake tears, not the real ones that came at the end.

Pause for a second, I'm over here ugly crying a little.

Throughout the 3 lives JK makes use of those fake tears.

Funny story he tells us, that he actually bought a whole lot of them for Bam, who was having issues with his eyes. Laughing at how similar the two are, eye problems, skin problems...

It does look like he's having issues with dry eyes.

But, when seeing it, every single time he pulled out those eye drops, I couldn't help but think about this:

Lol, even more so in the second live.

Showing us the hand tatts.

Ok, so this, to me, is a big one, and as usual kind of overlooked.

As opposed to many that think so, I really really don't think this was about showing us his ARMY tattoo, or being proud of his ARMY tattoo.

Why don't I think it's the army tattoo he's showing us?

Maybe because of everything going on? Maybe because he told us he wasn't too happy with the army tattoo itself.

Maybe because he picks the song, Golden hour by JVKE (when showing us the hand).

Maybe because he sits and listens to it, lingering on.

Maybe because he plays around with the candle, placing it just in the right place to showcase the tattoos he was planning to show us and when he was done he pulls it back towards himself.

Maybe because he clearly knew the song, and the lyrics as well.

Maybe because of how he timed it, showing us the tattoos at the exact timing that he did.

Maybe because of the way he showed them to us, the way he wiggled his fingers.

And maybe, just maybe because just as he finished showing us those tattoos, the JM clearly darker and thicker than the other letters, he also sang specific lyrics from the song he knew, complimenting showing us the tattoos with:

"... the love of my life..."

humming the continuation, omitting the lyrics which are female directed.

Jeon Jungkook gives not a single fuck for anyone’s opinion. He said so most recently onstage in Los Angeles. “So WHAT”, indeed.

He just…. does things his way.

Like: posting his most recent selfie at 5:13 PM KST. Putting the trademark yellow and purple on his Instagram post for Yoongi (the man, not the cat). Refusing to bisect the JM on his ring finger. The list is long of the ways he shows Jimin, and us, who he loves.

Jungkook is louder in his own way than even Jimin is. His message isn’t getting lost in translation- it just gets ignored or twisted or called something else.

And given the political climate in Korea right now? Both he and Jimin have every reason to want it that way.
