What is this horror that I just woke up to

Firstly, Luka's tattoo has finally been revealed (too bad it's not where I theorized it was...) Unlike the others, one detail is stark this time, that being that he was awake during the entire process. He's not even lying down when it would probably be less (by a pinch) painful, and more efficient if he did. He's watching. Even helping by keeping his shirt up.

And it seems he is still maintaining his heart rate even through the pain.

(And, expectedly he is thin so this would've hurt a lot more. I wouldn't be surprised if keeping him awake was to benefit his ability of endurance)

And we have his mugshot too. there are a lot of scribbles on his page so I tried to decipher the two clearest ones to me

And alongside that, we finally have the full cast tattoo process. (save my Till loving heart what are they doing to him.) HyunA and the girls on the top and Luka and the boys on the bottom.

On the topic that the Aliens in ALNST are horrible and can't be bothered to even put the pet humans to sleep while going through such a painful process, it doesn't look like Ivan is spared either and was also awake. otherwise, I don't know how he maintained that grip.

There's no telling for sure yet but his grip looks loose, perhaps he has a good pain tolerance.

And Till's picture. I think that's a full-body restraint right there (Like a straight jacket) If he was awake the whole time too then that's probably to be expected. There also seem to be wires around his face? a mouth gag? I can tell his is just...gonna be horrible to look at. (I am going to cause a scene. bashes my head against the concrete ARGH)

And we have everyone's mugshots, Sua -> Mizi-> Till -> Ivan -> Luka -> HyunA

(These were especially hard to read 💀 but they all seem to have their own signatures on their own pictures )

Another interesting part of this, we're shown Till's part of the Season 50 data book. A lot of the text is scribbled out.

Lyrics to unknown Till the end (And something scribbled out on the top) it looks like a draft copy. I can't tell if much changed from the version we have today..just got to see when the full version is out.

I tried to decipher as much as I could, take this with a grain of salt but his profile (left) is more of a teacher's note, one of his flaws being that he's aggressive, and he has a strong suit in performance. (Heavy emphasis on practicing music because his performance is his strong suit)

The C might be his overall grade, his only passing class was music.

The album cover looks like a Brain (it reminds me of an MRI scan kinda) Is it Till's brain after all the experiments he's been through? if so, I'm not surprised it seemingly has a lot of abnormalities.

Also, the prominent signature in the middle looks a little bit Like Ivan's.

And finally the main piece, Given the similarities in data the person going through the test is still Sua.

The bandaging on her head is very confusing though, (is this the process of creating Anakt's child?) She also looks like she's yelling more than singing in this piece. (with the tight restraints it's hard to even tell but she doesn't look as relaxed as the second picture.)

Mental - Good (despite the red light?)

This could be in the literal sense that Sua was actually crying during this test, or this phase of the test. But Aliens have a warped perception of human sounds. They call crying, singing so...I don't know. If there was a lot of resistance from Sua during the earlier phases then the bandage is probably there as another restraint..so many restraints.

Zuko fences sabre (fast, explosive, reactive)

Sokka fence foil (high-strung drama queen)

Katara fences epee (all about rhythm and pushing and pulling distance) but she wants to switch to sabre (just whacking shit) (which is bad sabre) (but cathartic)

Suki fences epee (none of this finicky right-of-way nonsense, just some good practical stabbing)

Toph is the club armorer who also knows every cheat in the game (hair spray on the lamé, questionable wiring, etc.)

I’m so sorry I get so weird when people ask me what scenes I want art for idk whyyyy! I know it’s silly because you’re offering but what I usually tell people is to pick their favorite scene and draw that? I like to see what you pick and idk it’s more fun that way!

Oh unmmm my favorite scene I’ve written? Huh…. Idk? (I know im so good at this ahhhh haha)

if I had to pick a scene I’d probably say I enjoy writing zukka together, like in liab it was the dishwashing scenes and the tree scene and in ria it was camping & cuddles idk they’re just so easy for me to write and I love how sokka is and how zuko responds so I enjoy them a lot.

I also enjoy writing scenes with Jet, he’s one of my favorite characters and he’s so smart and loyal and cool but hes also a toxic manipulator who kills people. hehehe, so when I get to write him talking to Katara or zuko and then that one sokka scene in the tent, it’s fun to show his characters different sides. Especially now that he is calming down and realizing he might want friends.

& I gotta add that I love writing is any scene from a Jee pov. I’ve made him stupidly complex for no reason and I’m excited for his story to unfold during ITF. Anytime I get to write him, like the dinner scene or watching iroh and How talk,,, ((and this upcoming market scene)) idk he’s just so fun. But in a I’m not fun I’m brooding for reasons and also pining and projecting and being all together just a fun character haha.

I finally caught up on the IDW Sonic comics and I’m so happy that we get a Sonic Riders arc! The first two games are cool concepts, though I’ve only played Zero Gravity (IT’S SO INSANELY GOOD OMG it’s a shame I didn’t have that game as a tween because I would have been hooked to it). I’m hoping the birds get a cool arc or something, but I’m happy we get them at all! I just really like Jet guys, he’s so damn funny. I really like Surge and Kit, and I’ll have to re-read their stuff at some point. I hope we get them or any IDW characters in future games.

Oh and I’m hyped for the Sonic X Shadow game (still can’t believe they called it that and tween me would have been screaming), though I don’t think it’d be on any consoles I own sadly. Argh. A shame because I LOVED Shadow’s edgy game. I played it over and over because I was insane as a tween (unpopular opinion maybe but that game was really damn good story and concept wise but just the controls and some level designs needed more time to cook, the Ark level with Maria SUCKED if you choose the hero path)

Anyway, great time to be a Jet and Shadow fan 👍

hama escapes prison, and becomes the most feared pirate captain in the colonies. she operates out of a tropical island that was once a fire nation colony until a bunch of pirates overthrew the local government. piracy flourishes in the eastern seas, for a time, disrupting trade and naval movements. hama goes to war with the fire nation, a large part of her does it because she wants to inflict as much harm as possible to the entity that inflicted so much harm and violence towards her and her people. another part of her has dreams that someday she will live to see the fall of the fire empire, and that she would have played a part in its downfall. but as we know, at the end of her story, she is living in hiding in a fire settlement, she is the witch at the edge of town, the werewolf terrorizing citizens at every full moon… she is the monster that parents tell their children about at night, the reason why the townspeople don’t dare go into the forest at night because in the dark….well. there is her. but how is it that she is monster in this situation? how is it that the fire nation takes and eats and burns everything in its path, destroyed her home and took everything from her yet turn around and call her the monster? well she may be old and alone, unable to do much, and yes if she’s caught, it will be nothing but pain and death waiting for her. but she will see to it that the fire nation suffers as much as she has

the soldier jolts at the voice, looking up from his task.

"what?"

"are you happy?"

he's never seen the poet so... serious, before. they usually had a stupid grin on their face, and if they didn't, it was because they were concentrating on something. still, they'd have a tongue poking out of their lips, or some other silly expression. never had they been so... so... he couldn't think of any word other than 'serious'.

"what do you mean?" he asks. the poet sighs, frowning at him. frowning. the poet didn't frown.

"do you enjoy what you do? do you enjoy what the king orders of you?"

the soldier stares at the poet. why were they asking such a silly question?

"of course not," he scoffs. before the poet can speak, he clarifies, "the king doesn't like us to have positive emotion."

"i know that," they poet responds. "but why do you stay if you are unhappy? can you not leave? rumours speak the ruler of the neighbouring kingdom is very benevolent. he would accept you with open arms."

the soldier's fists clench. speaking of the neighbouring kingdom in such a way... he could have them arrested for that. the king didn't like the neighbouring kingdom.

"my loyalty is to king nightmare."

the poet's eyes are calculating as they look the soldier over. he shifts under their unusual gaze. he couldn't help but find them uncanny, in this moment, where they are acting so unlike themself.

though, is this truly unlike them? the soldier couldn't help but question what their true personality was like. of course, they were an entertainer. all entertainers had personas.

"why would you pledge loyalty to someone who would not do the same?"

the poet's question hangs heavily in the air.

he's aware the king would sacrifice nothing for him—though that was to be expected. he was a soldier. his job was to follow the king's orders, even if it meant ending in his death. he was nothing, compared to a king.

"i suggest you leave." his voice is hard. it is not a suggestion.

the poet doesn't fight. unlike how they entered the room, they leave noisily. his shoulders slump when they close the door behind them.

what a fool.
