JORDIN SPARKS AND MICHAEL XAVIER STAR IN ‘A CHRISTMAS TREASURE,’ A NEW, ORIGINAL MOVIE PREMIERING NOVEMBER 7, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL
Part of the Network’s Annual “Countdown to Christmas” Programming Event
STUDIO CITY, CA – October 1 – Jordin Sparks (“American Idol,” Sparkle) and Michael Xavier (“Christmas Comes Twice,” Beware of the Midwife) star in “A Christmas Treasure,” a new, original movie premiering Sunday, November 7 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming event. Sparks sings two classic Christmas songs in the movie, covering “This Christmas” and on the piano, “Oh Holy Night.” Her original song from her 2020 Christmas album Cider & Hennessy, “Oh, It’s Christmas,” will also be part of the movie.
Christmas in Pine Grove will be extra special this holiday season as the Webb family plans to open a 100-year-old time capsule that was buried when the town was founded. While enjoying all the town’s festivities surrounding the big reveal and continuing to work at her family’s newspaper, Lou (Sparks) finalizes her plans to further her writing career by moving to New York after Christmas. But after opening the time capsule and finding her grandfather’s old journal, she begins to question whether she should move or stay in Pine Grove to carry on her family’s legacy. Having also met charming chef, Kyle (Xavier), who is also at a crossroads while visiting Pine Grove for the holidays, only makes Lou doubt the future she had planned even more.
“A Christmas Treasure” is from Christmas Treasure Road Productions Ltd. Stephanie Germain, Harvey Kahn, Jordin Sparks and Allen Lewis serve as executive producers. Arielle Port and Michael Shepard serve as co-executive producers. Charles Cooper serves as producer. Michael Robison directed from a teleplay by Sandra Berg & Judith Berg. Tatyana Ali Finds Love at Christmas in ‘Wrapped Up in Christmas’ with Kim Fields & Jasmine Guy
“It’s not easy meeting someone great. Maybe I will take a break from dating during the holidays, maybe through spring.” In the holiday Lifetime movie ‘Wrapped Up in Christmas,’ Christmas is one of Heather’s (Tatyana Ali) favorite times of year but this year, as the manager of the upscale Town Center Mall, she has to be the Christmas Grinch and cancel the leases of under-performing stores. JODIE SWEETIN AND DAVID O’DONNELL TEAM UP IN ‘A COZY CHRISTMAS INN’ A NEW, ORIGINAL MOVIE PREMIERING OCTOBER 28, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL
Also Starring Vivica A. Fox
Part of the Network’s Annual “Countdown to Christmas” Programming Event
STUDIO CITY, CA – October 16, 2022 – Jodie Sweetin (“Fuller House,” “Merry & Bright”) and David O’Donnell (“A Christmas in Vermont,” “Christmas Under Wraps”) star in “A Cozy Christmas Inn,” a new, original movie premiering Friday, October 28 ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming event.
The holidays are quickly approaching, and real estate tycoon Sharon Farris (Vivica A. Fox, “Summer in the City”) knows what she wants for Christmas: a picturesque small bed and breakfast in the cute Christmas-centric town of Garland, Alaska. Determined to get her hands on the property at any cost, she sends one of her junior execs, Erika (Sweetin), to convince the owner to sell. Much to Erika’s surprise, the owner turns out to be Andy Holliday (O’Donnell), her ex- boyfriend from college. As Erika spends time in the town trying to convince Andy and his father Frank (Brian Doyle-Murray, “Lodge 49”) to sell the property to Sharon, the city girl finds herself falling in love with both the charm of Garland and her ex-boyfriend. In fact, the experience changes her so much that when she learns that business has been poor and he’s on the verge of bankruptcy, she decides to use her knowledge and experience to help him keep the very hotel she’d been sent to take away from him. Is there enough time left before December 25th to successfully turn things around? Even more importantly, as their relationship develops, will Erika and Andy be able to avoid their mistakes of the past and live happily ever after?
“A Cozy Christmas Inn” is from Hybrid Productions. Barry Barnholtz, Zelma Kiwi and Jeffrey Schenck are executive producers. Jodie Sweetin and David O’Donnell are co-executive producers. Brian Nolan is co-producer and Peter Sullivan is producer. Dan Golder is line producer. Peter Sullivan directed from a script by Jennifer Notas Shapiro, from a story by Schenck and Sullivan.
Side note here, still no mention that this movie is a sequel of sorts to Christmas Under Wraps. It’s the same characters. I went into this in another post, with the poster actually, but it’s just weird. Either this is an official sequel, or they are remaking this, or whatever.
