Nick Hakims traumwandlerisches Jazznotjazz-Debüt “Green Twins” wurde im Mai via ATO Records veröffentlicht. "Soul music for outer-space." war NPRs Meinung, in der Jazz thing war von “...eins der interessantesten Alben des Jahres” die Rede. Jetzt hat sich der begnadete britische Tausendsassa Jamie Lidell an die Regler gesetzt und die Single “Cuffed” mit einem lässigen Mix versehen, der den moderaten Shuffle mit fuzzigen Gitarren und dem nötigen elektronischen Biss versieht, um den Song aus dem Bedroom zu locken. Jamie Lidell dazu: "I was introduced to Nick's music by some nice English lads, Bondax. I was blown away. I was waiting patiently, along with all the discerning music lovers, for Mr Hakim's LP.
