I don’t remember if I ever rlly elaborated on my potential Ninjago s12 but I’m listening to GRRRLS and it reminded me of it, so briefly here’s all the ideas I had for it (and are currently having for it because I am now coming up with stuff on the fly):

The focus on Jay would be forshadowed by the fact that Jay doesn’t get a resolution to what he does in s11. He seemingly feels bad about ignoring Zane’s dream and in general feels more of a disconnect to the group. This is subtle and he tries not to let it bother him. This is highlighted more at the start of the season, as they are investigating the mechanics hideout.

We would see that Jay gets transported as player 2. He arrives at the very core of prime empire, the tower, which also serves as menu screen. He’s greeted by Unagami, who offers to play games with him, an offer he takes due to being excited

I think on the ninja’s end it would mostly be the same. BUT Whilst Zane and Pixal can’t enter the game due to risk of their data getting scrambled (how that works I’ve decided is that, Prime Empire works by translating bio matter to digital but it can only do bio matter bc it knows how it works, and it doesn’t know how nindroids are made and therefore can’t translate them without risk of error), zane and pixal can set up some sort of communication system that allows them to contact the ninja. Essentially zane and pixal are video calling the ninja from their minds and over the course of the season they chip in with gaming tips (canonically zane and pixal are both gamers so)

The ninja end up meeting superstar rockin Jay, and it goes on as normal, although Okino is a little weirded out by him

In the just dance episode, Nya finds out on the dance floor that Jay is the sussus amogus imposter. Shock horror on the dance floor

It turns out that superstar rockin Jay was just an artificial construct being controlled by the real Jay who is still in the tower with Unagami. But recently Jay and Unagami had a real fight and that’s lead to Unagami taking control of superstar rockin Jay in an attempts to stop his friends’ progress

Not entirely sure how the superstar rockin Jay thing ends tho, all Ik is that I want Nya to have an “oh my god what happened to my boyfriend”/“wait a minute Jay would never say that”

There would be an episode detailing Jay’s pov, showing how he and Unagami became friends and started playing the games together after feeling similarly lonely, exploring Jay’s tendency to ignore his problems and how it’s resulting in him growing distant, before Jay realises he doesn’t want to give up on himself and he’s gonna try to reunite with his friends (probably after seeing how hard the ninja are trying to find him). Then Unagami reacts badly to the idea of being abandoned by Jay and they fight, ending with Jay falling through the walls and into the core of prime empire, in like this weird void of pure code.

I kinda also wanted to idk make more lava moments but that’s just me

I never really worked out what I wanted Libber (Jay’s mum) to do in this but she’s gonna be relevant

Like something something she’s been here, there’s an echo of her buried in the code. Maybe the game was based on her travels somehow. I kinda wanted Jay to be guided out of the code void by some sort of depiction of her

I kinda want Milton Dyer and Scott to have both somehow known Libber

Maybe libber really did abandon Jay. Maybe like Jay she also had issues that made her feel like she had to distance herself. Maybe there was a genuine reason and she was taken from him. Maybe the point of the season is that it’s hard to tell what happened in the past but that doesn’t stop you from carrying on in the future

Idk I just need there to be a more conscious parallel between jay and Unagami and themes of abandonment

There’s also some kind of theme of giving up not giving up seen with Scott, Okino and Blazey (racer 7), where they’re all encouraged to keep trying. I gotta do sometime with that idk…

Also the mechanic deserves to be cooler. Like can we make him more badass I want his villain resume to look so good that he actually qualifies as a Crystal council member

That’s all I had/have got for now but yeah! I do like most of the season I just think it has a lot more potential yknow

His bio dad got liver cancer and said this;

“I believe my tumour was down to drinking and smoking. I can’t blame it on anything else. “Each day I was smoking up to 25 cigarettes and drinking six to eight cans of Tyskie, a Polish lager. And my diet was terrible. It was Chinese and Indian takeaways and a lot of chips.

“Some days I wouldn’t eat at all but would just drink and smoke. I would drink to celebrate the good times and drink to cope with the bad. Whatever life threw at me I would drink.

“And there was stress. The stress of my mum dying in March last year and my dog Okee died five days before Christmas.

An aspiring artist and musician in hell, Jaiden follows the beat of her own drum. While not quite as bull-headed and daring as her mother, Jaiden is easy company to get along with and can enjoy a good laugh every now and then. She’s actually rather intelligent and crafty, something she shares in common with her dad. This often put a barrier between herself and her mother growing up as Cherri found it hard to bond with her, so Jaiden tends to keep that side of her hidden, the only ones who have truly seen Jaiden’s more dorky, natural side are Blaze and Kai, her two closest friends and band members

Growing up with a single mum who often hopped from place to place, Jaiden is used to travelling and likes to spend her time wandering about Hell, where she eventually picked up spray painting as a hobby to pass the time when she wasn’t practising guitar. Jaiden has learnt to be independent and as such is not greatly social, her friend circle is actually quite small, but Jaiden is fine with that. She’s the type of person who is fine with just chilling with a friend quietly or jamming out with them - often it’s the latter

Outside of art and playing guitar Jaiden enjoys things like fashion and dying her hair, it’s one of the things her and her mother bond the strongest over

Relationships:

Cherri has had many one night stands in Hell, the only thing close to a relationship she had was in her past life before she died, which left her cautious and untrustworthy of others. Pentious had secretly always had a bit of a puppy crush on Cherri, Cherri found this hilarious and endlessly funny - which ultimately led to her becoming pregnant with Jaiden. By this point Cherri had long since gotten bored of playing cat and mouse with Pentious and was totally on her own. Cherri turned to Angel, one of the few people she trusted whole heartedly. Angel helps her out as best she can till Cherri takes up temporary residence at the hotel until Jaiden is born. Cherri tries to go back to her old life of hopping about from place to place, but that’s hard to do with a crying baby that demands your total attention 24/7. After joining the band Resist and staying at the hotel permanently Cherri begins to learn how to be a better mum

It wasn’t until the toddler stages did Cherri begin to have some fun with parenting - Jaiden is a clingy child, having only Cherri as her parent. She and Cherri rough house and mess around a lot as their form of bonding, which sometimes meant Jaiden didn’t get to do some of the more girly or goofy things she enjoyed, Cherri tried to enjoy them though, even if sometimes she wasn’t very good. Now that Jaiden is older and depends on her mum less she’s able to enjoy more of her personal hobbies with close friends, she’s still close to her mum as she is the only biological family she has left, she was cautious of Vaggie at first when her mum said they where dating, but Jaiden is more chill now knowing her mum’s happy

Jaiden is slightly protective of her mum, so she wasn’t all that thrilled when she learnt that her mum and Vaggie were dating, unlike Iridescence. However Jaiden quickly warmed up to her - Vaggie is actually quite a loving parent, while often she is patient and reasonable with rules, Cherri has taught her to loosen up a little and she has become better at showing her appreciation for her family. Riley is a-okay with this attention, since Cherri and her often rough housed as their form of affection Jaiden quite enjoys a pat on the shoulder or a hug every now and then

Tristan and Riley are often dubbed babysitters by their mothers or Angel as both are good with the younger kids in the hotel, they have a lot more in common then people believe. Jaiden feels like she can let down her walls and be her more silly self, just a little, when around Tristan who finds her easier to get along with than Cherri. When Jaiden showed an interest in dark magic Tristan was the one who helped her find some books on the subject, when the two hang out they can often be found enjoying their respective books in silence

Her two closest friends are Blaze and Kai. Jaiden met Blaze when she was 5 when Millie had invited Cherri round for a big party to celebrate the birth of the twins at Millie’s parents house, Crash and Dash, Blaze was also there and was pretty bored since Moxxie said he couldn’t make too much noise since the twins where small and needed quite. Jaiden and Blaze ended up playing in the hog pen with the piglets before they got pulled out by their parents, caked in mud. The two met Kai a few years later at a gathering they had all been invited too. Blaze asked for Jaiden to tag along so they could hang out, the party was mostly for the adults to mingle, the two found Kai hiding off in a corner avoiding the acitivities, where he was persuaded to join Jaiden and Blaze when they tempted him with some vanilla ice cream

Jaiden tries to be a good big sister to Nidra, she worries she isn’t that great or that she could be doing better, but their bond is actually very close. When Jaiden learnt Nidra was into black magic Jaiden could not understand why, but she started reading up on the topic as best she could to try and form a bond with Nidra. Nidra’s relationship with Pentious is strained at best, Nidra felt more like a tool for Pentious to live his life through, even when Pentious becomes better and settles down with Arackniss Nidra still remains at the hotel. Jaiden is determined to be apart of her sisters life in some way, which can sometimes lead to her being a bit overbearing or overly nosy in Nidra’s hobbies. They bicker like normal sisters do, but Jaiden does her best to be patient. Out of everyone, Nidra is the one she is the most patient and understanding with, she truly doesn’t like to get angry at her

Fun facts:

-Jaiden wears a red pendant choker at all times, even when sleeping. All demons have the natural ability to shapeshift into humans, but only powerful demons have the ability to alter their demon forms. Jaiden was born a naga like Pentious and found it hard to get about the hotel when she was little, climbing the stairs was a bit of a challenge. Magic pendants to help demons shapeshift are not uncommon in hell but they are very hard to come by unless you can either enchant one yourself (which takes a great level of skill) or you are of royal blood and have easy access to them. With a bit of help from Vaggie Cherri was able to get her hands on one of these pendants and gave it to Jaiden. Jaiden prefers walking over slithering, she’ll only ever take her pendant off if she’s feeling especially relaxed

-Jaiden has a pet silkie chicken called Mayhem. She’s a big fan of birds, big, giant, fluffy, feathery ones. Mayhem can often be found following Jaiden around, staring into space, attacking Jaiden’s shoe laces, or sitting in a nest of her clothes in her room

-Jaiden and her mother have a lot of differences, one of those being how the two cope with attraction. Cherri can be fairly confident with flirting and isn’t shy to do so either, mostly for kicks and giggles. Jaiden can flirt too and likes to think of herself as fairly charming, but the tides can turn against her quickly. She gets flustered easily, like Sir Pentious, and sometimes does something silly/awkward because she doesn’t know how to respond

-Jaiden helped Brinda come out of the closest as Bisexual. Brinda had been crushing on Jaiden for a few months before she just confronted Jaiden and told her how she felt, and how she also felt very unsure and nervous. Jaiden offers to be Brinda’s girlfriend so that she can test the waters. Brinda is a shy adorable clutz and though they only dated for a few weeks and left on friendly terms, Jaiden still has a soft spot for her

The Sharma family are surprised by an unexpected visitor ahead of Jai’s nuptials to Laurel when cousin Suni played by Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana turns up in the Village.

It transpires Rishi has not seen his nephew for some time and is delighted when he turns up unannounced for his cousin Jai’s wedding. Rishi is privately hopeful Suni's arrival can help restore the equilibrium in his relationship with Jai.

Things have been awkward with Jai who is still not speaking to Rishi, as he’s understandably furious he kept the secret of his adoption from him. Rishi is still unable to admit to Jai who his real father is, and there appears to be no attempt to reconcile. With Jai’s wedding days away, could the arrival of Suni be just the ticket to restore harmony? Suni may also prove a pleasant distraction for recently single Nicky, played by Lewis Cope.

Executive Producer Jane Hudson explains: ”Suni arrives just in time for the wedding of his cousin Jai to Laurel but it’s Nicky who soon is making the most of his arrival. We are delighted to have Brahm join the Emmerdale family. He certainly hits the ground running as we throw him right into the heart of a big Sharma story.”

Brahmdeo will be on screen in the coming weeks and Emmerdale viewers will recognise him from ITV’s The Bay. Across social media platforms Brahmdeo is also popular for his online sketches.

Backstory:

Tyler grew up in Ring 7 with a single mother. She was always trying her hardest to make sure that despite their circumstances they didn’t have to worry about credits. See, when the decision was made to travel to the Amity Ty’s dad was listed as crew. He was an engineer specifically bio chemical, meant to help get to the bottom of the orange so they could finally settle on Mars. Then he got sick and when he passed away they no longer qualified for crew quarters. So they moved out of the nose and down to ring 7. 

Ty grew up with an understanding that nothing was permanent and so every day should be lived to its fullest. He’s not the smartest but he enjoys learning and one of his favourite things to do is learn about the space they inhabit and the earth he barely remembers. He is curious about everyone and everything and sees beauty even where others may not. His mum thinks he’s a dreamer and maybe he is but he thinks that maybe more people needed to be.

I've tried combing through asks about Jay but haven't really found any! One of my favorite genres to read is drama and the whole Jay situation is a sad but good read! It really depends on everyone's MC on how they feel about Jay but I find it sort of sad that Farro and Shawnie are willing to stay and fight with the MCs pack (romantic/platonic) but their bio dad is ready to dip out. So I guess what I really want to know is what really are Jays feelings on this whole ordeal, I can imagine it being a big shock and a bit of him not really knowing how to approach this whole thing.

Jay is, in a word, overwhelmed by you.

He never stopped loving your mum, and regrets not going after her when she left. But, those are old regrets, and ones he's learnt to live with. Then, out of nowhere, you appear.

He learns the woman he'd loved is now dead, that he's a father, and that his kid is a grown adult that he knows nothing about... except (depending on your choices) that you don't like him.

So, yeah, overwhelmed is the word.

so this is unpolished as fuck because i only just thought of the au this afternoon so i apologise if this doesn't make much sense for now, feel free to ask for me to explain more or something if you need me to!!

So its basically just the concept to glitchtechs being shoved onto ninjago, hinobi tech becomes borg industries and borg, whilst a seemingly friendly enough guy is very much more of an unseen higher power like how the guys who run the company (at least as of right now) are in glitch techs.

The system that borg has is pretty much the same that hinobi has, borg industries has several shops across ninjago that sell products whilst also dealing with glitches behind closed doors, all specifically located at or near gaming/population hotspots for easy access to the glitches.

the ninja are all part of the same store together, each of them having their own specialties. the au wouldnt necessarily have a main focus but if i were to give roles for who five and mikos replacements are it would be jay and nya, despite their varying dynamics.

the elemental alliance show up at points in the au as glitch techs from other stores that face off/ have a bit of a friendly rivalry with the ninjas store

none of them have their elemental powers, BUT their fighting styles would definitely be influenced by them, eg, zane using freeze bubbles to stun glitches and long range weapons whereas kai uses very short range weapons and probably got a fire breath power up at some point.

the digiverse and prime empire would probably have a major role in the show, the digiverse acting almost like a cloud for all the games that borg tech releases, and prime empire being one of the games that gets released mid story and causes a bunch of problems in terms of glitches and other stuff. i also like the idea of including the idea of jays bio mum being the powersource for prime empire that was scrapped by the show itself, im not sure how id do it yet but i have a few ideas that i might talk about once theyre a bit more fleshed out.

now to the ideas lightning round!!

x cole is their manager despite being only like a year older than most of his co workers and gets an insane amount of joy from pissing off karens who asked for the manager only for his weed smoking dumb ass to show up like "wassup kiddos"

x zane is still a nindroid in this au, his memoriy cant be wiped using the normal memory wiping beams and so he followed the glitch techs back to their base and kinda just stuck around. cole, who was the one to supposedly wipe his memory, is kinda like "what the fuck u remember" and demanded answers which is how they found out that hes a robot.

x half the team find zane really scary at first because hes literally a 6ft3 hunk of metal with no tact at all

x all of zanes gaming avatars have pink incorperated into the outfit in some way

x jay once challenged zane and lloyd to a dance dance revolution battle, they all had the most extravagant avatars made to look like vocaloids. it was the most ott thing ever and the competition lasted an entire day. lloyd won.

x lloyds specialty is the companions, he loves working with them and has a green salamander that sits on his head 24/7

x kai joined the team after nya, expecting it to just be a regular retail job and promptly freaks out over the fact that he has to fight giant kaiju monsters from video games. he rants about it to skylor at the end of his first day and she just laughs and says "you know, if i didnt already know about all this, youd be in big trouble"

x karlof is the manager for another area and him and cole are besties that have a scoreboard keeping track of how many glitches theyve managed to take down by themselves

x pixal takes on the role as bitt and likes to just stomp around the office in her massive fighting suit for fun.

thats all for now but i will be adding more as time goes on because this au is honestly so fun for me, ive been having a blast so far just thinking of the different games to include as well as just the lore!! because season 2 of glitch techs kinda left on a major cliff hanger so we dont know much of the specific lore ive kinda been building this on my own assumptions for what could happen lore-wise as well as just having fun with the goofy work-family aspect of it ^^

You woke up by someone jumping in your bed and instantly remembered the promised you had made the night before your mum about taking care of your little sister that day. She had to do double shifts at work, meaning she would be out from seven a.m until around nine p.m.

"Lena stop" you told the five years old girl and she obeyed to your order, sitting next to you where you were laying.

After looking at your phone and noticing it was almost nine a.m you asked her if she wanted to have breakfast, to what she replied with a yes, filled with excitement because she loved your french toasts.

While you two were enjoying the flavorsome food you had prepare, your phone started buzzing and the name of JJ appeared on the screen, you answered the call.

"pretty girl" your friend said through the speaker.

"how you doing gorgeous?" you decided to follow his little game that after all the years of friendship was a completely normal thing between you two, flirting all the time was like the signature of your personal bond, making everyone think JJ and you were involved in something more personal and intimate; which was not close at all from reality.

"our plans for today still on your agenda?" JJ asked, you could tell he was eating due to the weird way he was talking and also your friends had this bad habit of chewing really loud and it made you go insane, but it didn't matter when you recalled on how you were supposed to pick him up and spend the day at the beach together.

"oh shit-" you started but he interrupted you.

"i knew you would forget traitor ass bitch" he didn't sound mad, in fact he was laughing.

"i'm so so sorry Jay" you began talking with your hand on your forehead while the little monster in front of you was watching you, "my mom is doing double shift at work today and i promised to take care of Lena, i'm so so sorry".

"wait, you are with Lena right now?"

"yes, she is looking at me right now, in a malicious way, sometimes she scares the hell out of me" JJ laughed at what you said.

"put me on speaker i wanna talk to her" you could feel how he was smiling on the other line, JJ loved Lena and she loved him, your sister even told you once how she had a crush on him, even though she pissed you off most of the time, it was adorable.

"k", you pulled the phone away from your ear and pressed the button, "someone wants to talk to you" you said to her and then placed the electronic gadget between you two so both could hear him.

"hi princess!" your friend greeted Lena and you saw how her were flooded with joy when she distinguished JJ's voice, "you ok over there?" he asked after a few seconds without any answer, your little sister was shocked.

"Lena! say something to him!" you laughed at her priceless reaction.

"i can't, i'm nervous" she 'whispered' but you knew very well that he had heard her.

"why?" you asked Lena just to mess with the poor little girl.

"he is too cute! you know i like him" her face was close to be red as a tomato, "you talk to him! he is your boyfriend!".

"you know he is not my boyfriend silly kid!" she looked at you deadly in the eyes, "fine fine, i'll talk to him" you brought your phone closer to you but the speaker was still on, "Lena can't talk right now JJ" you glanced at her, she was pointing at the bathroom, "She's on the bathroom right now" with a smile on her face she pulled her thumbs up, indicating you were doing alright.

How the fuck a five years old can be like that?

"oow, that's too bad! i wanted to ask her if she would like that i come over and play with you guys!" JJ and you knew exactly what you were doing, and both loved it.

"shit man" your sister opened her eyes wide open and started moving her head up and down very fast and drastically, "but, i'm sure she would love that you came" you said after getting her message.

" i don't know, i think she hates me-" JJ couldn't finish talking 'cause Lena yelled.

"NO JJ I LOVE YOU PLEASE COME TO MY HOUSE" you held back a laugh.

"oh Lena, there you are!" she was sitting on the floor with her hands over her mouth, not believing what she had just screamed, drama queen just like you, "if you ask me like that i can't say no, i'll be there by midday with food to eat".

"see you Jay"

"see you girls" he hang up and you smiled at your sister who's mouth was wide open.

Waiting for JJ was life-threatening when Lena didn't stop running around the house while howling around the house "JJ is coming here! JJ is going to play with me!", at the beginning was funny and sweet, but after almost two hours of hearing it you wanted to kill her cold-blooded style.

The knock on your door sounded like angels melody entering your ears, your little sister ran towards the door and when you arrived there she had already opened it and let JJ get inside.

"Lena! what if it was a murderer?" you complained for her actions, but she just ignored you and turned to face JJ.

"JJ you have to promise me one thing" she spoke as one of her fingers got close to JJ's face, "you will play with me and not just kiss my sister!" she said extremely serious about it.

"it will be hard not to 'cause she looks beautiful today but i promise you i will not" the blonde expressed as he handed you a greasy brown bag, which you assumed contained the food he said he was going to bring, and winked at you, making you roll your eyes,

"i knew it! JJ is your boyfriend! you were lying to my Y/N!" your dramatic and innocent sister yelled at you.

"No kid, he is messing with you, we are just friends" you replied to her laughing it off.

"I WANT JJ TO BE YOUR BOYFRIEND!" Lena started crying an ran to her room.

"five years old and she's already a drama queen just like her big sis" your best friend scoffed.

"go after her you blondie king" you ordered while setting the table to eat.

"why me? she's your sister" JJ complained

"because she loves YOU way more than she loves ME, besides, you started this, you fix it" you said as placing glasses for the three of you.

JJ used his beauty features to persuade Lena to eat.

Lunch went by fast, lots of laughs and jokes included. The golden boy and you love to mess with your little sister.

You were playing UNO in the living when suddenly the tiny monster stood up full of excitement.

"I have an idea!" she happily said.

"what is it princess?" JJ asked, his angelic blue eyes were focused on the cards held by his hands, thinking about which one throw and deciding over a plus two, thing that made you lift your middle finger and picked up two from the little mountain over the table.

"we're going to bake cookies!" the boy and you looked up to her with a frown on your faces.

"why?" you asked.

"why not?" JJ replied, it was pretty obvious he just wanted to piss you off.

The three of you followed an easy recipe your mom always made on weekends. When you finally introduced the tray filled with the raw cookies the kitchen was a mess, flour everywhere and some cookie dough was sprayed all over the mount kitchen from when JJ picked you up and spun you around.

Five minutes before they were done you told them to go and play or something like that, giving you time to make some coffee and clean a little bit.

You walked into the living room and what you found was the most amazingly cute thing you had seen in your short life. JJ and Lena were sitting in the floor around the little table you were playing cards, unless that now it was filled with plastic mugs and plates. Your little sister had her Rapunzel dress on and the blonde boy was wearing a silver crown with fake amethysts on it and around his neck a pink and purple boa. You decided to appreciate the scenario for a few more seconds, JJ was faking drinking from his cup and Lena was saying something to him that you couldn't hear because you were to immersed into how great your best friends was with kids.

"what are you two beautiful kids doing?" you asked while walking towards them.

"it's a tea party mademoiselle you have to talk properly" JJ scold you.

"oh! i'm so sorry! it was very inconsiderate of me! i brought some tasty cookies to share with you" Your sister gave you a similar boa to the one that JJ was wearing but yours was electric blue and your crown was actually a flowers one.

It was almost seven p.m and after lots of begs and promises you gave up and let Lena and JJ do your make up.

The little girl went running to her bedroom to find her 'products' as she called them and you took advantage of being alone with JJ and told him what you had thought about earlier.

"JJ" you called him and he looked at you, "you are great with kids, you will be an awesome dad" on his face appeared the biggest smile of them all, you knew how much what you were saying meant to him due to everything he had gone through with his dad. He told you multiple times before how he was afraid of ending up being like his dad, but after today you were sure there was no way the pretty boy that was in front of you ended up that way.

"Thank you Y/N it means that you think of me that way" you smiled to him, almost letting an i love you slip from your mouth.

"WHO'S READY FOR THIS?!" Lena screamed.

"Let's get to it" you said, still looking at JJ.

"And JJ" he turned his head, now facing the girl, "i'm doing your make up too"

"Of course you are princess! i want to be as beautiful as Y/N is!"

The whole day was just perfect, you had no words to describe how happy and delighted you felt.

When your mum arrived JJ left. Lena told her everything and she was amazed with the boy, it was a side of him that no one, not even you had seen before and it was a lovely one.

You were turning off the lights of your room when someone entered your room, your mom.

"i do not really know what is happening between you and JJ but, from what you guys told me he was the best today" she smiled at you "so i would reconsider the 'no pogue on pogue macking' rule you told me about and finally leave the just friends aside, it's pretty obvious you two like and love each other in other ways than that" she closed the door without giving you the chance to answer.

The screen of your phone lighted up when you got a text from the boy.

- i was thinking about what you said about me being a good dad, you will be an awesome mom too, but i don't want to have kids if it's not with you, whatcha say?

You were shocked by what he was saying.

- i'm pretty sure that for that to happen there are lots of steps ahead ;)

- like what?

- idk, asking me out first? a kiss?

- my precious Y/N would you do me the honor of going tea partying again? this time just the two of us.

- and what about letting me kiss you at that tea party?

Ginger the (not so) Blue Jay

Age: 17

Occupation: Mercenary (part-time), vigilante (part-time), Resistance Member (part-time)

Personality: Determined is the best way to describe this former Battle Bird Armada soldier, especially when it comes to those she once formerly worked with. Travelling the world to rid it of her former masters, Ginger’s anger drives her resolve to destroy the Armada. Ginger is remarkably articulate, unusual given the Armada's "education" is 95% brainwashing about the glory of the Armada. She snarks when she knows that someone can keep up with her, but more often than naught takes on a softer tone with others. Ginger’s tendency of keeping to a more soothing tone often catches the attention of her friends; leading them to comment that she often is a ‘team mum’, to Ginger’s ire and indignation.

Often seeing the more emotional side of the situation, Ginger tends to butt heads with the more selfish members of the Resistance (Sonic and Ovi), usually over ideals and rushing ahead. However, Ginger is prone to seeing problems when there might be any; consequently, she seems paranoid half the time. Ginger unsurprisingly is cynical in her life outlook, which allows her to err on the side of caution. However, Ginger’s cynicism has been reduced over time thanks to her friends.

Strengths: Ginger is an expert sharp-shooter, able to bring out and use any type of gun without much prior knowledge on the weapon. This ability is tied with her ability to calculate the ricochet of the weapons she uses to be able to hit whatever she cannot through regular means – giving her the title of ‘the Red Sharp-shot’ (Right behind ‘Robin Hood’ in the first slot, irking Ginger as she does not use bows and arrows). One of Ginger’s most powerful attacks is the ability to summon swords with her chaos ability. This ability allows her to strike without requiring a chance to aim at all; they immediately home in and critically hit whatever enemy Ginger wants to hit hard. The Chaos Swords tend to look simply like a cartoonish depiction of a dagger – a sharp, large blade, a hilt for Ginger to grab onto immediately, and a guard to keep her hand from slipping onto the blade part.

Weaknesses: Ginger’s sharpshooting ability comes at a price: because Ginger is a bird, her bones and muscles are completely light, meaning that her body strength (besides her talons) is extremely weak. Plus, Ginger’s time within the Armada was not kind to her, making any kind of touch – even from those that she considers friends – to be a triggering action for her. However, Ginger did not discover her chaos swords ability until she had relaxed once. Since then, Ginger was subjected to excruciating tests, hoping to bring out the power for the Armada. As such, it is not known if Ginger can bring out the power again – if at all. Be wary around Ginger while calm – as it is the only time the immaterial swords can come out readily.

Hobbies: Ginger tends to sit down and upgrade/modify her guns for whatever mission she may need them for. Her most recent project is the bazooka she plans on using at some point – a weapon able to blast light from using her innate chaos energy. Other hobbies include: Art – while not very good at it, Ginger often takes days away from hunting the Armada to draw up schematics of her weapons to see what needs to be upgraded or built. As such, most of her ‘art’ is technical drawings of her guns. (Though there are a few doodles of a stick-figure version of Ginger pointing her guns out and going ‘bam blam’ at an Armada bird stick figure)

Meditation – during jobs that require her to go after the more… shadier individuals of the world, Ginger will often find time for herself to calmly collect her thoughts and the info she acquired for the mission. This often leaves her in a far calmer demeanor than any other time.

Flower arranging: Ginger loves to arrange flowers in a pot – often using them in place of actual incense to help with her meditation.

Likes: Making friends, Tofu Chow Mein, organizing and upgrading her guns, being relied upon, working with her friends, being loved and remembered.

Dislikes: Her parents, abuse, being tested, having eggs at all in food, hurting kids, People who put kids in the way, being treated like a soldier.

Backstory: Born to the most devoted believers known in the Armada, Ginger was enlisted into the Armada as young as eleven. Her parents were huge believers in the Armada and the belief that birds were superior; they offered Ginger to the Battle Lord 15th as soon as Ginger was old enough to understand gun safety. As such, most of Ginger’s memory of her parents… are not good ones.

Under the surveillance of the Battle Bird instructors, Ginger trained in a variety of weapons, making friends with the other trainees, and finding love with a fellow Battle Bird named Rustie. By the time Ginger was fourteen, her chaos powers manifested fully. Rustie, a trainee under the head doctor and chief scientist Dr. Fukukrov, reported Ginger’s powers to her superiors. Attempting to harness this power for the Armada, Ginger was put through extensive and rigorous training – to the point where she was treated as nothing but a lab rat. Because Rustie’s yearning to please her boss came over her love of Ginger, their relationship evaporated into nothing.

By the time Ginger was fifteen, she gave up on life; after one brutal beating to try and get Ginger to harness har powers, she never got back up. The Armada presumed her dead and immediately dumped Ginger off the Armada into a nearby swamp. However, Ginger had survived both the rigorous tests and the free-fall into the swamp. There, she was found and adopted by local cicadas, Toss and Turn. They nursed Ginger back to health, and tried to help her move on from her trauma the best they could. Ginger eventually opens up to her time in the Armada, her first relationship with someone only to end up being betrayed, and how she was practically sold for the ‘glory of the Armada’ to Toss and Turn, and the three end up becoming closer over time. Eventually, Ginger leaves Toss and Turn at seventeen, hoping to end up destroying the Armada as much as she can, while also exploring the world and expanding her mindset from her more Armada-minded ideals.

i didnt even realize jay didn’t have like an actual bio/backstory up tf?? i like ?? know his ?? generally at least ??

im jsut gonna put it here bc lazy. long story short:

mama. an angel. literally just the purest human being in the world. u think jaylen is a ray of sunshine? ur wrong. his mum is. shes the actual sun and hes just some shine. anyway, she met this dude. a vampire. they were together and then she got knocked up. he left during the pregnancy and left her to raise this half vamp baby like ??? how tf?? 

anyway she was always like :’) no we loved each other he probably had a reason. i honestly havent decided if he did or didnt tbh. anyway. having a vamp baby kinda fucked her up (hello bella from twilight). and made her pretty ill. then when he was a baby/young he’d still feed off of her bc ?? he needed blood and she didnt want him to like,,, be exposed as a vamp. but this also took its toll on her already week body. 

she was kind of okay when he was young, a bit pale and sickly but alright. she had a few visits to the hospital but she was okay. but as he got older they got more frequent and eventually she had to permanently stay in hospital. she was getting worse and worse and the doctors didnt know what was wrong or how to fix it. eventually she died, it was just after jay finished high school, as if she was waiting for him to be an adult and graduate before she finally let go. jaylen was obviously devastated. he had no one else in the world and loved her more than anything. he very much so blames himself, bc his birth is what messed her up. 

anyway, jay always planned on becoming a nurse. bc during his time at hospital with her the nurses were always so nice to him as well as his mother. he could have been a doctor but he didnt want to, they kidna scare him bc they were always the one to deliver the bad news, and never the ones like primarily caring for his mother. he wants to be like the nurses that looked after her and him tbh.
