Has anyone read the The Universe After series by Drew Williams?

Jane and Esa give me such Rick and Morty vibes and Jane’s thing with Javi makes me think of the Birdrick rebellion era.

I looked on here but couldn’t find any trace of fandom for this series/author.

For anyone who’s interested, the books take place in a future where an event called the Pulse has caused large amounts of technology to fail - every planet is affected to different levels, with some barely touched and others unable to even generate electricity. Jane, an extremely adept soldier, travels to these worlds in search of so-called ‘gifted children’, who display abilities such as telekinesis. One of these children is Esa - a 14 year old orphan with unusually strong powers.
