Offical Ophelia Lore Change Post!

While I do love the idea of Ophelia being a mushroom witch, The concept of a "mushroom witch" kinda fits another oc that I had in mind. Probably talk about it tomorrow on another account. You know the one~ ;)

But getting back to Ophelia, she's now going to be a moon witch!!

Now when I say "She's a moon witch" what do I mean by that? Well for starters, instead of her covered eye having fungus or mushroom stairs, her missing eye is now a moonstone that she can see out of. Not only can she see out of this eye but she has magical vision that allows her to see in the dark with no torch, detect magic and mythical creatures with a single glance and even track traces of magic and scry other locations.

She still has her lunar moth wings, but now she can even form a mermaid tail to breath under water with.

Her heart is now literal moonstone and is 10x durable than the average heart.

White roses, moonflowers, jasmine, white lilies, and evening primroses bloom under her feet and grow whenever she walks over grass and dirt.

Her freckles glow silver, and her hair turns into a galaxy whenever she uses her powers. (Hair example seen below.)

Her tome is now her main use of her spells, with a moonstone amulet on the front of the book. Inside the amultet is a set of oracle cards (different from tarot cards ) that she can use for divination and different spells. Her pen can now turn into a sword and acts as a wand. She still has her broomstick and it doubles as her magic staff with a moonstone engraved on the broomhead! Most of her magic deals with light and dark magic with a hint of hydrokinesis and an emphasis on crystal magic! Mostly moonstones!!

She has 3 familiars now!

3 - Favourite moment? That exact scene when Erin remembers who she is at the climax of the Diamond Route and activates her Demoness Form for the first time. It was awesome when I first saw it on my blind v13 playthrough, and it still is just as awesome when I saw it again during my v13.5 replays.

11 - Do you have ocs? If so, feel free to ramble about them! Some fun facts about my Paragon and Renegade OCs, since I think I covered their backstories already lmao

Hauyne:

She detests spicy foods and refuses to even touch one, but loves her sweets. Her favourite sweet is chocolate.

Her favourite drink is jasmine tea.

For some reason, alcoholic drinks have no effect on her whatsoever, so to her they're just fermented drinks. Coffee, however, will get her intoxicated the same way most alcohol would to a normal human being.

Her starter is a Rockruff, which evolved into a Dusk Lycanroc back when she was still a student in Phoenix Academy. It didn't survive Storm-9, unfortunately.

The only two Pokemon she has that made it out of Storm-9 are her Zeraora and Aegislash. Both of them were taken in by Crescent, but they both went back to their original trainer after she was revived.

While she doesn't specialise in any type in particular, most of her Pokemon are dragon types.

Her Delphox, Altissia, was originally a normal Delphox. They first met as a Fennekin in Gearen Labs, but she was permanently altered into the Augmented (aka Delpha) form after Hauyne dreamt about battling and capturing Delpha in the Nightmare Realm.

She and Crescent were qpr partners before Storm-9 happened. Keyword: were. That relationship kind of got strained during the events of rejuv, but they've reconciled and are starting on a clean slate in .karma files.

Being an aura wielder, she naturally can understand Pokemon and even speak their language.

Adding to the above point, she has an insatiable appetite due to being an aura wielder. She can and will devour an entire buffet's worth of food in a blink, but as a Black Box this appetite has been curbed and she only eats for pleasure or for self-care.

She'd rather die than admit this, but she secretly loves being held. Would absolutely melt in a cuddle pile, or when given any form of physical affection as long as it's someone she knows and trusts.

Oh, and she purrs. Purrs.

Has a fierce competitive streak. Once you triggered that, she's not going to stop until she finally defeats you.

Her eyes glow in the dark. And it's because of this she has near-perfect night vision.

Is partially blind on her left scarred eye. She mostly relies on her aura sensing abilities to correct her depth perception, but will struggle to read anything from afar unless it's brought to mere inches away from her face.

Electra:

Her starter is a Empoleon, but her ace is a Metagross.

In her past life, Electra isn't actually very fond of battling. In fact, she wasn't even a trainer, and had never desired to be one. Her having amnesia changed her stance, however.

She is very fond of dry flavoured foods, and hates bitter foods.

Her favourite drink is iced coffee.

Her original eye colour is a deep indigo, almost seeming like purple. After she got Genesis Syndrome, her eyes turned golden, and it stayed that way for the rest of her life.

Being a failed Dialga vessel, she can use metal-based magicks and even use Steel-type moves. And to some extent, she can manipulate time, but it's too inconsistent and took too much energy to even be reliable. Absorbing the Diamond Core changed that fact, however.

She once had a crush on Aelita... until she crossed the Despair Event Horizon.

She's severely acrophobic, due to a near-death experience where she almost fell into a fault line caused by an earthquake during the war in the Old World.

Very skilled with machines, so she hit it off with Saki really well because of their shared fondness for tinkering.

25 - Most frustrating/hardest battle you've ever faced? The Admin battle. Especially the Admin battle. I get its supposed to be a scripted loss and therefore bullshit, but it does not stop me from getting pissed off at it. Fuck Admin. All my homies hate Admin.

32 - What are you looking forward to in next versions? Lore reveals! And finding out what happens in the Xen Raid, for both the Paragon and Renegade routes. And hopefully we get more sidequests like the Xenogene Movie, I'd love for the main gang to just chill and relax and have a bonding moment with each other. Like, let them be normal teenagers for once, you know?

What I love about them: God I wish I had even half of the drive & ambition (and energy) this man has to chasing his dreams he’s like Sonic but less cocky and more free-willed & i don’t think I can remember any other Pokemon character being this excited over just the slight chance of achieving their goals c’:

What I hate about them: It’s been a long while since I played SoulSilver but I didn’t find him creepy/stalker-like at all like the fandom likes to assume…? So I don’t really hate him for anything ._.;

Favorite Moment/Quote: Still cry over the fact that he congratulates you if you successfully catch Suicune. Man could’ve said nothing or told you off for crushing his dream but he decided to thank you instead for the chance to meet Suicune what did we do to deserve this man ;-;

What I would like to see more focus on: I do find it kinda weird that only Suicune gets the focus and not any other Legendary Beast…? We don’t get any context for why Eusine is only focused on Suicune specifically instead of the other two so that might’ve been cool to see i guess ._.; (I mean we kinda sorta got a special episode with Raikou I think but idk I don’t think that counts)

What I would like to see less focus on: Why did they make Eusine yell at Ash. I mean…I get why (kid basically claimed to see the gay chicken god but Eusine wasn’t having it) but why c’: (he never yelled at the player in-game so I see the anime Eusine as very ooc)

Favorite pairing with: Morty x Eusine! (Sacredshipping) but sometimes Jasmine x Eusine too (I think it’s called Simpleshipping…? Kinda basic if you ask me :P but still cute ^-^)

Favorite friendship: Guzma & Steven Stone. Guzma cuz of my oc phase (where basically my oc was friends with a bunch of Pokemon characters & became a crime-fighting team i dont care if its cringe shut up). Steven because I can see these two accidentally/coincidentally running into each other a bunch of times for them to eventually meet up & eventually become travelling buddies.

NOTP: …nobody ships him with Suicune right? …Right?

Favorite headcanon: I still like to think he’s a waterbender who learned from his uncle (which is the dude in Celadon City that can only be accessed through Surf). I mean…it gives further context for why he’s searching for Suicune specifically, plus I doubt any of his Pokemon know Surf either & it’d be kinda hard to chase a water deity if you don’t know how to use Surf yourself ._.;

Morty

What I love about them: He was the only male Ghost Gym Leader until the shy guy kid from Galar came along & stole his title :c in all seriousness tho I think he has the best character design out of all the Ghost Type Gym Leaders, even the Gen 4 design wasn’t too on the nose (like Agatha or the shy guy kid again, yeah yeah I know his name but i never played Sword/Shield so i’m not using it) or too obtrusive (Fantina…) Also his voice actor’s AMAZING and very underrated I wish people knew about Andrew Rannells more :c

What I hate about them: The Gen 4 design was still kinda pushing it as far as Ghost Gym Leader aesthetic goes & I still like his Gen 2/Anime design better but that’s just me :/ (also he killed my starter on my nuzlocke run when i was 11 ;-;)

Favorite Moment/Quote: I love the part in the anime where Ash asks: “wait you can talk to/understand Ghost Pokemon how?” And Morty just immediately answers “Practice.” (Also again thank you Andrew Rannels for the way the line was delivered I can’t do it justice but it’s like he saying “uuuh how do you do anything Ash huh?” xD)

What I would like to see more focus on: I don’t really see much of a problem with how he’s portrayed in game and/or the anime actually! True, more screen time and/or backstory is greatly appreciated for his interest in Ho-oh (at least in game, the anime is fine) but for what we got, I’m glad we had a Gym Leader who actually paid attention to/studied the mythos of the region for once instead of just being generic miniboss no. 14 (it might’ve been kinda cool to see his clairvoyance used more like in the manga but idk how that would work ._.;)

What I would like to see less focus on: idk he doesn’t get much screen time so there’s not much i can say about him that wasn’t needed…? Unlike Eusine, Morty’s initial attitude towards Ash (dismissing his claims about rainbow birb) made sense for his character (because he didn’t yell at him) but I guess if anyone was going to give Ash a hard time it should’ve been Morty, not Eusine. (Though this would’ve made for some annoying/petty/unnecessary drama so I can’t complain ._.;)

Favorite pairing with: Eusine (Sacredshipping) & Steven Stone (Knightshipping I think…? idk the pokeship list is a mess) Morty & Eusine both hold a special place in my heart for being the first Pokemon characters I liked (and for fueling the oc dream team I mentioned earlier) but I can also see some chemistry with Steven too! They can be chill together c:

Favorite friendship: uuuh does frenemies count cuz I still think Yellowjacket (Guzma x Morty) is the best Guzma ship I’ve come up with yet, platonic or otherwise (though I see them more as frenemies than lovers) I can also see AZ & Morty being close friends too…? idk i just want my top two favs to be buddies & share stories about their history and legendaries together 🥺

NOTP: I used to see Falkner x Morty EVERYWHERE on deviantart and it was very yabai 😬 (though hopefully that’s changed now…? It was less about the characters themselves & more about how they were portrayed…shota…)

Favorite headcanon: because I have been sucked into a new fandom hell I like to think Morty is Keito Hasumi’s uncle and I’ve been meaning to recreate my old dead rp blog just to write about their dynamic but he basically taught Keito everything he knows about music (and possibly magic) and was basically Keito’s second dad (since his real dad is probably too busy working as a monk) and no this totally isn’t just another way for me to put two of my fav characters together whaddya talking about (also the fact that both of these characters have the voices of an angel seriously go look up Andrew Rannells and Yuichiro Umehara right now they are too good for this world ;-;)

Waking up to a nice and sunny morning, I decided to enjoy the quiet morning and not let it go to waste. After making my self a nice warm cup of jasmine tea , I made my way to the patio of the Kamisato Estate. Mornings like this always puts a smile to my face especially when I don’t have to wake up early to run errands. While I savour the cool morning breeze, I notice a bird flying and making its way into the railing of the patio before it looks at me with its little eyes and tilting its head as if to say good morning. Chuckling, I offered my pointer finger to act as a platform for the bird to stand on. The bird gets on the my finger and smile at it while stroking its head gently. Unbeknownst to me, a certain someone was watching me from behind. Who would It be other than the Yashiro Commissioner himself. [oof here's my rp starter :'))] -🍮

Hello! I believe it's time we do a little fun fact for my MC Jasmine x3

Well for starters she was born in the South like Lucio and she changed her name as well her name wasn't always Jasmine her original name was snow in most tribes they name their children off of the first thing they see or something like that her father decided to name her snow but when she was 18 she changed her name to Jasmine after the Jasmine flower the reason to why she changed her name is because her father died when she was 5 she had a brother but he was killed in a war that was between her tribe and lucios however she and lucio had never met durring that time till she came to Vesuvia at the age of 23 around the same time lucio became count (idk exactly how old he was when he became count 😭)

She soon met him when at the first party he threw which was a party to celebrate in him being count.

Before I can battle Jasmine, she needs me to get medicine from the pharmacy in Cianwood City across the sea for the sick Ampharos at the lighthouse. So off I went, catching a Tentacool in the water.

Along the way, the worst happened: I lost my starter. While battling a Tentacruel, he was knocked out, which just absolutely destroyed me. I’m so upset about losing my Bayleef.

After getting to Cianwood City, I got the medicine for Amphy and challenged the gym...
