I fell into a 40k rabbit hole
I fell in love with the Wolfspear after reading the Successors anthology and then this happened suddenly:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
he's my first model, go easy on me!
Wolfspear color scheme for reference:
Tumblr media
He's a Rune Priest named Grettir from the 5th Jarldom, known for its Rune Priests, as it's head Rune Priest was the most talented student Njall Stormcaller trained in order to make sure the Wolfspear followed the traditions of Fenris.

That's it for now!
Their total income was $4,245.
Taxes - 30% of Income: $1,274 Rent: $1,000 Tithes - 10% of Income: $425 Fees: None
Total owed: $2,699
They still just have one business, which is more than they can really handle no lie. Unfortunately they did not make contact with the jarl which means their son will not be able to marry Nahid - level 2 opens up a merchant family, which adds a class "level" between yeoman and noble/gentry/jarldom.

Stragvulf, the
Among the numerous mercenary companies that ply their trade across Arkera's turbulent waters, few command the respect and premium rates of the Straagvulf Clan. Distinguished by their blood-red wolf pelts and decorated with grim trophies of past victories, these fearsome warriors have carved out a reputation as the most reliable maritime defenders in the known world.
The Straagvulf's ranks are drawn primarily from two distinct warrior cultures: the Skane and the Ivalnir. These warriors, having abandoned their traditional jarldoms and ancestral clans, have found a new purpose and brotherhood within the Straagvulf. While their origins may differ, they are united by a common pursuit of glory and wealth in foreign lands, forging a unique warrior culture that combines the martial traditions of both peoples.
The clan's expertise in naval warfare rivals that of the legendary Vandrels, making them particularly valuable in the treacherous waters of Arkera. Independent merchants seeking safe passage through pirate-infested waters and free ports requiring stalwart defenders frequently seek out their services. The Straagvulf's mastery of maritime combat, combined with their unwavering dedication to fulfilling contracts, has established them as the premier choice for those who can afford their considerable fees.
The most striking feature of a Straagvulf warrior is their ceremonial attire. Each member wears a wolf pelt, meticulously dyed a deep crimson that evokes freshly spilled blood. These pelts are adorned with an array of tokens and trophies claimed from fallen enemies, serving both as a mark of personal achievement and a warning to potential adversaries. This practice has evolved into a complex system of status and recognition within the clan, with each token telling a story of battles won and foes vanquished.
Within the Straagvulf's ranks exists a small but legendary contingent of berserkers. These wild warriors serve as the clan's ultimate weapon, deployed only in the most dangerous and crucial operations. Their presence on a battlefield often proves decisive, though the clan carefully manages their deployment to maintain both their fearsome reputation and their effectiveness. The exact methods by which these berserkers are selected and trained remain closely guarded secrets of the Straagvulf.
Perhaps the most valuable asset of the Straagvulf is their impeccable record of contract fulfillment. In a world where mercenary loyalty is often as fluid as the tides, the Straagvulf have never abandoned or betrayed a contract. This unprecedented reliability, combined with their martial prowess, allows them to command exceptional rates for their services. Despite their high cost, the certainty of their commitment has made them one of the most sought-after mercenary leagues in Arkera.
The Straagvulf operate primarily as escorts and defenders, specializing in maritime security operations. Their services range from protecting merchant vessels and trade routes to defending free ports against raiders and rival powers. The clan's leadership demonstrates remarkable strategic acumen in choosing contracts that maintain both their reputation and their influence in key maritime regions.
The Straagvulf's presence has significantly influenced the balance of power in Arkera's maritime regions. Their reliability and effectiveness have made them key players in trade relations and regional conflicts, while their strict adherence to contractual obligations has earned them a unique position of trust among merchants and port authorities alike.
The continued success of the Straagvulf stands as testament to the enduring value of absolute reliability in the mercenary trade, proving that honor and profit need not be mutually exclusive in the dangerous waters of Arkera.

I played through the two newest free Assassin's Creed: Valhalla content today, so spoilers below for AC: Valhalla, The Raven And The Cuckoo and The Last Chapter.
The Raven And The Cuckoo:
This free quest introduces the Hidden One character of Roshan to Eivor. It's a quick little quest where you help Roshan defeat an enemy that she and Eivor share.
I have mixed feelings on this quest. It's stealth based, which I enjoyed. And while I already like Roshan as a character and am excited to see more of her in AC Mirage, I'd rather either her not have shown up in ACV at all, or at least given her a scene or two with Hytham.
This is an Assassin's Creed game that's so bereft of actual assassin's in favor of playing a Viking simulator that is get frustrating when the few Hidden Ones characters you do get, barley have any meaningful scenes together.
Like Roshan was Basim's mentor when he joined the Hidden Ones, and by this time in-game Basim is canonically presumed "dead" in Norway. And Roshan has no dialogue about this? No anger at Eivor or even "wow sorry that happened"? Whatever. It's a minor complaint and honestly, fits in with the emotional trend (and by trend I mean lack of emotion) we were already getting in ACV. Moving on now.
The Last Chapter:
Classic Ubisoft. This is a short, mostly emotionless fetch quest that feels incredibly rushed. It serves as more of an intro to the events occurring in the next game, AC Mirage by setting up William Miles reliving Basim's memories of becoming a Hidden One and realized Sage of Loki. Presumably to convince Miles that he and Basim are on the same side (Which they are...kinda. Basim is loyal to the Creed, but still wants to unite his lost family)?
While I am very happy to get more Basim content, and more Hytham content, that's about the only positive thing I have to say for The Last Chapter.
Like most of ACV, Eivor is confused emotionally and is written to have conflicting characterization to the point where you just have them figured out, than Ubi changes their mind and writes Eivor differently.
By the end of ACV, Eivor is written to finally be at peace with themselves, no longer seeking glory, and has refused to acknowledge their past life as Havi. Fast forward to The Last Chapter, and suddenly Eivor is acting like their scared 20 year old self seeking Havi's knowledge, and not the 40+ Jarl we left them as.
It would have been one thing if Ubi wrote them to be slowly loosing themselves in their past life's memories like Halfdan did, but instead we got...this very lukewarm Eivor deciding to drop their responsibility to go to Vinland and have their past life teach them what a "solar flare is".
I know a lot of people have already shared posts about Darby discussing the choice that Gunnar's wedding was "Eivor's goodbye to the clan" to explain why they don't say goodbye to anyone from Ravensthorpe besides Hytham, and having gone straight from the wedding to this quest yeah I can see it. But it doesn't negate the fact it's been two years, with three DLCs, and yes there should have been a better goodbye scene.
I would have like a scene where Eivor stood in front of the clan and officially steps down, handing the Jarldom to Randvi, then goes on to give private goodbyes to Hytham, Sunniva, Randvi and Gunnar. I actually like the goodbyes with Alfred and Guthrom. Not so much with Harald, it felt a little out of the way.
I am not going to touch on the gender discourse except to say that like the romance system, Ubi wanted to have their cake and eat it to. I personally loved the ability to switch gender whenever I wanted, and I play Eivor as non-binary. But that doesn't mean that yes, Eivor is canonically a woman and marketing-wise was screwed over by Ubi marketing only the "male Eivor".
It was the same with the romance options. Ubi pushed for no canonical romance but did so in a way that left nobody happy. Instead of the organic feel of Kassandra/Alexios free-loving their way through Ancient Greece, we had Randvi who was used as a cheap way to betray Sigurd, and a bunch of other romance options that were... incredibly stale (Hytham should have been the main romance, I say even though I wish we got a scene with Basim like we got with Aspasia).
Anyway, I'll wrap this up before I get more rambley by saying "more meh than disappointed, but not surprised". As much as I enjoy this franchise (ACV was my intro to the series!) Ubisoft is a company rife with with horrible business practices and work environments, and I hope desperately that AC Mirage is not a complete shit show. Sorry ACV, we really could of had something with this game, but Ubi would rather take our money for the bear minimum.

what does Coradri get up to in the fourth era?
In Kvatch she learned a little of the carpenter's trade and turns toward building furniture while living in Anvil. Tanis left them Benirus Manor, a shitload of gold, and a bunch of valuable trinkets and books, so she and Rona live pretty comfortably. They travel often and provide for all the various street urchins and unwanted children they've taken in.
She and Rona have 60 lovely years together, and after Rona passes she does eventually remarry a nice Dunmer lady who moved to Cyrodiil following the Red Year.
By the events of Skyrim, her family is huge and confusing and spread all over Tamriel. She lives in Solitude with a multigenerational contingent of her grown adopted children, THEIR descendants, and some OTHER children they've collected along the way... and Proudspire Manor becomes a semi-legal orphanage operating outside the official purview of the Jarldom. She's got a bit of a libertarian streak.

Do you like your relationships messy?
Hetha Latvala is heiress to a jarldom, daughter of an ambitious father and a formidable mother. She’s also newly married to a man who previously sort of jilted her, and whilst the political connections make total sense, it's yet to be seen if the rest of it does. The first few months of their marriage have been up and down to say the least, and now Hetha is with child…there’s no going back.
Oh yeah, and she illegally dissects bodies with her goth mother in her spare time.
A much wanted character with father, sister and husband in play, as well as further played connections, there is a whole heap of scope with Hetha. End game ship, but it doesn’t need to be boring. This character has been written before, but there is still opportunity to put your own spin on her and bring her future to life.

Fable and Ruin is a low fantasy historical site set on the continent of Ideca. Within our realm is the Queendom of Desemene and surrounding the Queendom are three tribes: The Ruadh, the Aonach, and the Gleann. Our site focuses on the lives of those in Desemene and in the Tribes, how they interact politically, romantically, their friendships, and with their enemies.
My character Hadu is a behemoth of a man with a bas past that is now a soldier for the Jarldom of Silkegard and close to the Jarl. This is a woman in (likely) her mid twenties, who is a soldier in the Silkebard army. Much to her (civilian) parents’ dismay, she did not just simply marry a more or less prestigious farmer or tradesman, but went to seek her destiny with a bow in her hand. She is opinionated, confident and does not take shit from anyone. Perhaps, there is a slight and occasional issue with authority, which makes her career choice rather odd. In any case, she’s a badass and perhaps, soon to be HBIC. This is thought to be a romantic want ad for my dude, Hadu. Hadu is a Silkebard soldier as well, perhaps perhaps perhaps soon-to-be-commander, and not the easiest person to crack. Very likely, this is not about love at first sight, but a slow burn. Also very likely, a shift in rosters may put the closer together professionally, though it is unlikely that they have never met. It’d be nice if she could be his opposite in a few things, especially as far as being talkative (or not, like Hadu) goes, but of course, underneath all that spunk there has to be something…softer maybe. Perhaps there are past issues they could bond over, I’m happy to explore this and if it doesn’t work out romantically, that’s fine as well. I do see bickering, though. Face suggestion: Anya Chalotra

Imagine a premium DLC understanding that Eivor’s people are what matters to her most, and to incorporate them into the game before any random allies, better than the narrative director of the original game and his five cut scene disgrace of a last chapter.
DLC Spoiler ⬇️
This story in particular shows the affection she has for Randvi, but also it’s super relevant. The story is about a squirrel who is befriended by a miner/dwarf until one day the miner/dwarf turns to stone. The squirrel, who finally found someone who let them squeak and be themselves/free, stays with their friend hoping one day they will change back again. Eivor thinks it is about Sigurd. Randvi does not confirm that. I always believed it was a dual meaning and it’s partially about Eivor, with Randvi as the squirrel…as it was very clear in Dawn of Ragnarok that her visions were starting to have real bleeding effects and she might be losing her battle with her visions and reality. Turning to “stone” in that sense.
The Last Chapter could have EASILY built on this and been a valid reason for Eivor giving up her jarldom and isolating herself — a leader who could no longer effectively lead and making the choice to protect her people in a whole new way. From someone who was trying so hard but was struggling with something she couldn’t help (her visions). She then could have gone to Vinland to try and focus on dealing with it once and for all….. and Randvi, like the squirrel, could have left with her and stuck by her until the end.
BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. They had to pretend the DLCs didn’t exist and make it so Eivor just leaves on a whim and breaks up with Randvi off screen. Because that is such an “emotional” and fitting ending when not once did Eivor ever indicate she would do such a thing. 🙃😤😒😠
I still recommend playing Dawn of Ragnarok and playing Eivor as Havi. I really liked that DLC. It DOES have decent Eivor content in it. Great scenes with Valka, Tove, Gunnar, Randvi and Holger.
