this phrase of "bombing them back to the stone age" is frankly bloothirsty, completely genocidal and appaling and I never heard someone use it unironically outside of a comedy movie general
But then I thought, did I really never heard it before? No, it isn't the first I heard it, it sounded like a very Usamerican stock phrase, so I looked it up...

no matter what, help to the people of gaza should always be supported, however seeing japan speak against israel as if they aren’t the modern-day version of the imperial japanese army makes me absolutely lose my mind

i remember seeing someone call tubbo a fully grown adult at 19 (obvs before he turned 20) and i gotta say. i think maybe some people have a really skewed idea of what constitutes as "fully grown". and also what constitutes as properly mature. thinking that at 18/19 (or hell even at 20/21) people are now fully grown and mature is insane to me like yall thats how you get people thinking their life is over at like 23 and that 30 year olds are senior citizens 😭😭 be fr
#this is a problem no matter where you look but i think a lot of ppl in the mcyt fandom esp seem to think once youre-#-considered an adult at all that it automatically means youre fully grown and mature and thats just nooottt really true for most ppl#which i think can lead people down to sort of dangerous paths especially because 'adult' is often defined by age of consent#and theres also some slight cultural differences like even just between the us and the uk where due to 18yr olds being able to drink in-#-the uk (and other places) i think it genuinely causes some dissonance#where i see often in the us that when youre 18/19 youre still treated (id say rightfully) as being rather young and not Truly a grown adult#hence. yk. the term Young Adult#but i think in places where the drinking age is younger it starts causing people to see younger people as more mature#which is also why a lot of predators like to push for the age of consent to be at a younger age like 15 or 16#and why many lolicons try to point at japans age of consent (which for the record is complicated and not as simple as just 'age of consent-#-is 13') as a defense for how they act#because these sorts of milestones (having sex and drinking) are seen as marks of a true adult. which gets into a whole lot of other#complicated things#and often dangerous things and ways of thinking#ANYWAYS . basically 18/19 isnt fully grown 20 is also hardly fully grown itself#and theres ways to combat people infantilizing tubbo and other creators his age without acting like hes actually#fully grown and mature lol. i promise you humans are not fully grown at 20 years old are you kidding me 😭😭😭😭#if youre in your 20s you still have a lot of time and space to grow i promise. do not fall for the idea that your life is done by like 23#idk. im only 18 myself but it just feels insane to me that if i were a creator people would be calling me a fully grown adult#not that im not an adult but i dont think im mature enough to be seen as fully grown and i guess itssss. sad?#to see other people my age think that turning 18 means youre fully grown. just really not true#theres a lot of 30 year olds who still see early 20yr olds as being practically babies we have Not made it to full maturity yet i prommy#mask mews

陸自防護マスク4
JSDF Type 4 Protective Mask
Me and @bureau-of-mines were in the midst of watching Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters (1968) on Svengoolie with friends and family when out of some miracle, he spotted this thing on eBay mobile and copped it instantly.
These were the standard gas mask of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces from approximately the mid-1980's up until recently. Beginning in 2000, it started getting phased out with the Type 4b Protective Mask (aka the Type 00), and more recently, the Type 18 is now starting to enter service with the JSDF.
The Japanese government is incredibly protective of their CBRN equipment and very few are released to the public; supposedly it's even illegal for Japanese citizens to be in possession of these. How one ended up on U.S. eBay is beyond my comprehension.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the center of the mask is a central inlet/outlet/voicemitter/drinking assembly made of reasonably study plastic and held in place with a metal ear clamp - a small nub sticking out the side would allow a hydration tube to link a canteen to the facepiece.
A downward-facing outlet valve permits moisture drainage and an average-sized voice diaphragm is positioned just up and behind the center NATO 40mm port.

The eyepieces are made of thick glass with brass frames held together by screw clamps. The famous 'sad' appearance of postwar Japanese masks is palpable with this model.
The head harness is of the mesh 'skullcap' variety, and interestingly, despite being 6-point, the top two straps arranged close together so it functions effectively like a wider 5-point strap system.

Inside the mask, there are many details to take note of - here you can see the top straps have two separate positions for the mounting studs for adjustment; the mask seems to have been made in a 'universal' size.
The manufacturer's mark reveals this mask was manufactured by Koken Ltd. around 1996. The inner nosecup is short and squat as is typical for gas masks designed with Asian facial ergonomics in mind. The inner drinking straw can be seen protruding in from side, just in front of the voicemitter.
Above this lies a single nosecup valve disk and at the very bottom is the outlet valve, hidden under the chin rest.

Perhaps the most famous use of these masks followed the 1995 Tokyo Subway Sarin Gas Attack, carried out by members of the Aum Shinrikyo doomsday cult. All members of the JSDF decontamination teams were seen wearing the Type 4.
As of writing, this may be the only specimen of these masks in the United states, let alone outside Japan to begin with. We've literally never seen one of these in a collector's hands up until now.

why do you call asougi mr handsome?
because hes the most handsome man in all of england!! obviously!! ive never been to japan so either theyre hiding all the really pretty people over there or he is also the most handsome man in all of japan! both of those options are good options so im not worried...
have you looked at him. hes... hes just stunning!!! his hair is so soft and silky and this beautiful shade of dark grey that goes all bronze-brown in sunlight, which should be impossible but its not because he does it!!
he has these really pretty gray eyes, too... ive gotten to see them sparkle when he gets his hands on a cool sword and to compare it to starlight would not be incorrect!!
his voice is very pleasing to listen to, its a bit rough and a bit unlike most people so its super distinctive, and he could make really dry law sound interesting just by reading it out loud. his singing is even better... nice and tenor and a little untrained but thats what makes it good!!!
also his usual court uniform is almost criminally tight and i know thats because mr pretty prosecutor just insists on it but wow. wow. it is probly impossible not to notice his physique when hes wearing that!!! and of course if youve ever seen him move hes so fluid... poetry in motion. dancing or sparring, doesnt matter, he makes it look like its the only thing youre supposed to do with your physical body.
also hes very warm to the touch and smells like fresh pennyroyal and it is unfairly nice. no one told me that until i got to dance with him myself, because our mutual friends might just be evil, but it is important that you know this because it is the cherry on top.
i mean really!! its a miracle i ever stay standing when hes around, hes so handsome i get all weak in the knees. youd figure being around him more would make me get used to it!! and youd be wrong!!!
it is unfair that any man could be so handsome, and yet he is!!! it makes me happy, though. that someone does exist that is that handsome. that sort of beauty should always exist and im glad it exists in someone i know!!

For Yuji's and now Sukuna's retrial of Shibuya, can't Sukuna claim self-defense??? If Mahoraga attacked him first, he could claim everything that happened that night was an act of self-defense. Also, if we're really pushing it, Megumi could be found at fault for Shibuya since he summoned Mahoraga and let him run rampant in the first place.

Jin lived with his mother all his life. Since there is no mention of childhood friends, and it is mentioned that Jun decided to live in seclusion - it can be safe to assume Jin only had his mother and nature his entire life until he was 15. When he was 15, a monster unlike anything he's ever seen or can imagine attacks them and murders his mother, he was helpless to do anything due to being too young and unskilled. Jin loses the only friend he's ever had, but he does find out he has more family. His grandfather. His grandfather is the only family he has left.
His grandfather is opposite of his mother; more brash, angrier, stricter, and colder. Jin ends up looking up to his grandfather though, because he exudes strength, and well... he's all he has left. Given Heihachi's history with Lee and Kazuya, and how he treats Jin in the future, it's safe to assume Jin was very likely mistreated by Heihachi for the four years he lived with him. Jin was grieving his mother and the old life he knew, all while being pushed into one where he's being raised by a man who seems disgruntled by his very existence, Jin likely assumes this is because Heihachi wants the best for him.
When Jin finally kills Ogre and avenges his mother. He turns around and sees his grandfather's soldiers. Jin's visibly confused as to why they're around. He couldn't even comprehend they were there to kill him until it was too late, and they already fired their guns at him. Jin is shot several times over until he falls down. Then his grandfather steps in. Jin, even though it's quite apparent he's going to die (who wouldn't after being shot that many times?) still reaches out for his grandfather. Was he trying to get at him? Or was he hoping his grandfather could perform a miracle and save him? Either way, his grandfather answers this by shooting his own 19 year old grandson in the head and then walking away as if nothing happened.
This awakens the devil in Jin - something that threatens to kill and maim everything around it.
While Jin survived, he's been traumatized so much - that he's now homicidal-suicidal, believing the world would be a better place without his family and himself. Jin spends two years of his life with nonstop training and reveling in this hatred.
My point is; Jin's lived a very fucked up life during Tek3-Tek4 and it's easy to see how it mentally affects him when you really think about it. The fact that there seems to be a lot of ppl who don't really think about this or think that Jin basically went through "nothing" compared to the other Mishimas is just baffling to me. Frankly tired of people think Jin is just "emo" for no reason.
