So I've playing XCOM Chimera Squad recently. This is the first XCOM I ever played and I’m absolutely loving it so far
Part of my enjoyment does in fact come from the fact that Zephyr and Torque are very very hot, but I’m also definitely loving the game play loop and all the character interactions are amazing and I love them all
....but I’m also just very gay for the snake lady, like wow guys I’m so fucking gay. Apparently snake lady is also super gay for the director, because there is no heterosexual explanation for
Director Kelly: Call me tonight okay?
Torque: I will. Thanks, Jane
Director Kelly: Don’t worry. I can do paper work and talk at the same time
Torque: Are you gonna wear a sweater?
Director Kelly: Bite your tongue
Director Jane Kelly is an alien fucker and I have nothing but respect for her now

Are you familiar with the terrorist named Jane Kelly? I heard she killed an entire platoon of troopers singlehandedly.
Thank you for the question citizen!
Hey wasn’t she one of the XCOM resistance fighters that kidnapped the so called “commander” from one of our facilities?
Am I remembering wrong? I certainly wouldn’t forget her face!

Track and field
track & field: which (if any) of your OCs are athletic? what sports do they play? which of your OCs would go HARD in P.E.?
This may seem obvious but Jane and Michael are probably the most athletic. They’re like that sports couple that go to the gym together to motivate each other. While they both do martial arts, Jane is better at anything that has to do with running; sprinting, hurdles, long jump, etc. Michael is better at gymnastics. For a guy his size he is surprisingly nimble.
And lets be honest; these to two would absolutely destroy in dodge ball.

All books were review copies provided by publisher
The Escapades of Clint McCool: Octo-Man and the Headless Monster by Jane Kelly and illustrated by Jessika von Innerebner
I did not like this one at all. The kid was annoying and the fact that no one seemed to think of punish him for his actions upset me greatly. He treats his friends badly and his mom is weary around him and he just won’t listen. Maybe kids will like this one but for me it was like yikes child, you need time out.
Bea Garcia: The Curse of Einstein’s Pencil – written and illustrated by Deborah Zemke
This was very cute. I adored the illustrations and Bea’s imagination. I reckon kids will like this one. Especially the artists.
The Kid from Planet Z wirtten by Nancy Krulik and illustrated by Louis Thomas
Again, this seems like one that will appeal to kids but to an adult, it will seem oversimplified and not very funny. I don’t know. It was okay. Possibly as an introduction to sci-fi?

Gargalesthesia - The sensation caused by tickling. Michael please.
Michael would never admit it to anyone, ever, but he loved the sensation of tickling. It was, to him, the best feeling in the world. To laugh until his sides hurt was the most pure, joyous experience and no-one could take that away from him.
Except is was taken away for a while. Michael vaguely remembered when he lived with his parents on that small island in the pacific, away from the new world order ADVENT had set up. Whenever Michael was sad or angry, his mother would tickle him until he stopped being upset.
Now, without his parents around and without the need to adhere to ADVENT’s regime, Michael realized how much he missed it.
Michael sighed as he adjusted the light above his bed to fall on the book he was reading better. Jane lay sprawled across the end of the bed, a pillow under her arms sighing. Michael looked up at his partner, putting the book down.
“Bored?” He asked.
“Very,” Jane muttered. She looked up at her friend, lips pursed. “What can I do?”
“Well, you could come and read this book with me. It’s about aliens,” Michael offered. Jane snorted and laughed.
“Aliens? Seriously?” She chuckled. As her laughter died down, Jane sighed. “Nah. I’m just… apathetic, I guess,” She said, waving her hands as she spoke. Michael narrowed his eyes and put his book down, moving over to Jane so he was sitting next to her.
“Would you still be bored if I did… this!?” He laughed, grabbing her sides. Jane yelped, which quickly devolved into crazy laughter. Jane, through her laughter, managed to retaliate, making her friend jump back.
The fun only ended when Central called them up to the bridge. It took the two soldiers at least ten minutes to finally calm down, literally crying from enjoyment. Michael had really missed this.

"Another GOP Kamikaze Mission": #NeverTrump Conservatives Are Fighting For Him To Reshape The Supreme Court
“Another GOP Kamikaze Mission”: #NeverTrump Conservatives Are Fighting For Him To Reshape The Supreme Court
The organizing principle of the #NeverTrump movement isn’t simply that Republicans should deny Donald Trump their presidential nomination, as Marco Rubio has it, but that they should also deny him the presidency should he prevail in the primary.
Some conservatives’ implicit willingness to essentially throw the race for the White House should Trump become their party’s nominee has understandably…

Medusa Inspired Photo-shoot (with PIXAPRO LUMI 400 and Modifiers)
Written By Mike Hardley & Jane Kelly
Tumblr media
The PHOTOSHOOT team decided to do something around the Medusa theme, so Mike and Jane (our photographers) got started straight away on making the headpiece (link to our blog). Misty Couture came on board and made us a bespoke corset and along with a few of our own accessories, we had our look.
Tirry Jane was our fantastic model, who really got into the part with her scary looks. Charley Payne, our makeup artist, used her creative skills to produce Tirry’s ‘snake’ look.
We worked with three main sets; black, grey and an orange mottled backdrop. The lighting setup remained for all three sets. We used one strip box as the main light to the left of the model and a beauty dish as a fill, high up, facing down to the right at 45 degrees to her. Both lights had a grid fitted. The only additional light was used on the third set, which had a gridded snoot fitted and positioned at ground level, pointing towards the model’s face, as the snakes on her headdress were causing a shadow to fall over the left eye. We used two or three PixaPro 400 watt lighting, Beauty Dish with Grid, Strip Light with Grid and Snoot with Grid. Jane also used orange gels and a gold reflector. Two black light boards were used to control the light bouncing around on this set.
Mike’s camera settings and equipment: Aperture f/7.1, Speed 1/125, ISO 100. Equipment:Canon 6D with a Canon 24-105mm IS f4 lens.
Jane’s camera settings and equipment: Aperture f8.0, Speed 1/125-200 (depending) ISO160. Equipment: Nikon 610 with a Nikon 24-70mm lens.
