8, 18, 28, 38, 48, 58, 68, 78, 88, and 98 for Spotify Wrapped ask game
cries Ali I love you but whyyy
Send me 1-100 and I'll tell you what Spotify wrapped song it is and what oc/ship it applies to!
8. Cosmic Love - Florence + the Machine
Really any ship that could become dark. Obviously the first to come to mind is Karina Lantsov and her relationship with Mal, Alina and Aleksander bc Aleksander would LOVE to drag all three into the darkness with him. But also some of my AUs for Eleanor Winters, especially the ones involving Lycan!Chris and alive Wesker (which totally does not turn into Eleanor x Chris x Wesker bc what am I if not predictable). For OCs themselves, likely Ashley Williams and Octavis Octavius. In TLoU P2, Ashley kinda goes off the rails at Joel's death (though I go back and forth between killing him and not). And Octavius, there's the whole anti-heroine Madame Octopus thing.
18. Meet Me in the Woods - Lord Huron
ELEANOR. In fact, I should double check if I've added this to her playlist yet. The lyrics just scream the aftermath of House of the Rising Sun/All Things End. Goes with Ethan to figure what wtf is going on with Mia, gets (unknowingly) killed and turned into a B.O.W, goes through hell, meets and eventually falls in love with Chris only to get betrayed bc of Mother Miranda bullshit... should probably change this to be her them song tbh.
28. Ain't No Grave - Crooked Still
This is on my Ashley Williams playlist and fits her perfectly, because nothing will keep her from her loved ones (Ellie and later Joel). She grew up doing all sorts of questionable things just for Ellie; she's even willing for a good chunk of the journey to throw Joel to infected or groups if it'll buy Ellie time to escape and live.
38. Setting Sun - Lord Huron
Funny, as much as I adore this song, it's hard to apply it to an OC or ship without diving into massive AU territory. The Darkling I can see being like this, but Karina is a Malarklina ship so kinda not at the same time since he considers all three his? Same thing could apply to an AU involving Eleanor x Chris x Wesker or Lyall x Diana or even Luke x Jana. Pretty much add unhinged possessive behavior in a dark au to an oc or ship and you get this song, haha.
48. Fire and the Flood - Vance Joy
Romantically, Eleanor x Chris. Platonically... a lot. Eleanor & Ethan, Ashley & Ellie & Joel, Nelda & Eragon and Nelda & Murtagh.
58. Renegades - X Ambassadors
My Star Wars OCs. And DBH OCs. And havent introduced her yet but my Hunger Games OC, Ada Steelberg. Rebels and resistance in some way? Yeah, this song is for them.
68. Pompeii- Bastille
Eleanor Winters, Sidney and Donna Riley-Weathers, Maureen Prescott, Nelda (to a lesser extent when you factor in events from Murtagh). 'Does it almost feel like nothings changed at all?' And for all of them, in some way, that's true. Eleanor gets dragged back into facing off B.O.W.s in Romania; Sidney, Donna and Maureen all deal with Ghostface and being legacies of og Woodsboro survivors (and as the child of Sidney and Billy in Maureen's case). It's heavily hinted at in Murtagh that there's shaping up to be a new big bad that might have been behind Galbatorix and whatnot in Murtagh, so Nelda is going from one war to another, basically.
78. Seven Devils - Florence + the Machine
Even though it's on my Eleanor playlist, it could also fit Ashley, because of the lengths she's willing to go for the few people she cares about.
88. Gasoline - Halsey
Too many, tbh. Obviously it's added to my Eleanor Winters and Ashley Williams playlists but it also applies to my DBH OCs Fred and Christi bc of the lyrics 'I think there's a flaw in my code' bc you know, they become deviants and all.
98. In Dreams - Ben Howard
I have no idea. Mind immediately goes to Eleanor but also not quite because she does get a happy-ish ending with Chris even though she does lose Ethan. In a way it also kinda reminds me of Ashley. 'I may be troubled but I'm gracious in defeat'; she's okay with who she becomes and what she has to do for Ellie and later Joel. Idk this was honestly hard.

Never Girls (フェアリー・ガールズ) Manga Style Illustration variants
In Japan, the illustrations weren't the style by Jana Christy- but instead by an unknown manga artist
Unfortunately, the ethnicity and probably nationality of Gabby and Mia have changed for the Japanese audience
Still, it's very interesting, they are also accompanied by the movie and book characters
There seem to be 6 chapter books produced like this
Thanks to @nabbing-nibs for showing me this!

The Prices & Kevin Puri! I have loaded and played this family (and tbh all of the High School Years pack families) 0 times. Here’s what I thought of while I redecorated them! Janae: Soccer mom who loves counting her steps and looks so good in red. Really proud of her kids and loves them to pieces but is so, so ready for the nest to be empty so she go travel with her hubby. Bad at cooking, but goes to all of her kids’ extracurricular events and yells their names loudly from the bleachers. Marcel: He seems like the kind of dad that takes his kids camping and tells them about snipe hunting just so he and his wife can get some “““alone  time.”““ Closest with his youngest son because he’s the only other one really into pranking. Tries to get into the stuff his kids like. Watches rom-coms with Kevin. Savannah: Really pretty aro+ace girl who just really likes fashion. I see her as being a huge fan of k-pop, who is teaching herself Korean by watching k-dramas. Also just happens to kick ass at chess, programming, and math. I see her as being the defacto valedictorian who saves so much money for his shopping habit. Sidney: I have such a soft spot for bi boys who are just looking for excuses to respectfully check out all the cuties they are by. As a cheerleader, he can check out the cute cheer boys and girls, as well as the cute football boys and girls. Also randomly decided that hes an Adidas guy. Jayden: Friends, I don’t know what to do with sim kids that I didn’t make with a wildly complicated backstory, or kids that were born to sims I made with overly complicated back stories. I think ever since getting burnt by Christie Sigworth (WHY IS HER HEAD SO BIG), I’m just wary of kids until they grow up to look even vaguely normal. I don’t even think Jayden has ever aged past being a child in past games. I did decide that he and his dad have a familial relationship of “Jokesters” and made them both love pranks so that’s probably what he’s gonna be about. Kevin: Socially awkward romantic is such a cute personality, honestly. I decided that part of his social awkwardness was going to be really into plaid high-water pants. I kinda see him with Ash Harjo (self-confident + creative fashionion icon and a sweet but awkward cisgender boy sounds like a tv show I’d watch ngl), but we’ll see.
QUICK NOTE: For the families that are like parent(s) + child(ren), I’ll probably just bundle them up in one post unless I have a lot to say about them. Like seriously, I am going to *rant* when I get to Christie Sigworth. So it’ll be whatever outfits I liked best in their makeover, and then their blurb.

The work on display was juried by Liz Andrews, executive director of the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art.
ATHICA@CINÉ Gallery
“Familiar” — Photographs by Christy Bush.
Lyndon House Arts Center
“RE-, the Clarke County School District Student Art Exhibition” — Includes works by students from Kindergarten to 12th grade and media such as weaving, sculpture, photography, painting, drawing and collage. Also included are large collaborative works of art by classrooms and grades.

“Bess Carter: Arts Center Choice Award Winner” — During each Annual Juried Exhibition, the Lyndon House Arts Center curator selects an artist with a compelling, yet unseen, body of work worthy of in-depth viewing for a solo exhibition in the North Gallery. Bess Carter, who teaches art at Oconee County High School, will share art inspired by her family and “everyday beautifully imperfect life.”
“The Same, Yet Separate” — J Taran Diamond is a metalsmith and interdisciplinary craft artist. Diamond creates intricate ornate objects inspired by historic artifacts that investigate anti-Blackness within the material culture of the American South.
“The Ties that Bind: The Paradox of Cultural Survival amid Climate Events: Works by Tamika Galanis and Anina Major” — This exhibition originated on St. Helena Island, South Carolina, during a residency in which artists examined cultural identity and sustainability through environmental relationships.
The Athenaeum
“Smooooooooooooooth Operator” — Brooklyn-based artist Kameelah Janan Rasheed presents a new exhibition that examines the poetics and power of machine learning. She questions computation, the role of the reader and ritual in “Smooooooooooooooth Operator,” which considers the menace of smoothness. We know what a smooth thing is; we’ve run our hand over a surface without noticeable projections or interruptions. Smoothing as a practice shows up in music via quantization and again in image processing via filters. Both are procedures of standardization and forced patterning by disregarding dirty data (or noise) in the service of fulfilling the audience’s expectations. Smooth viewing is easy viewing because the brain doesn’t have to second guess what it is looking at. Smooth images, smooth text make smooth, speed readers.
tiny ATH gallery
Peter Loose, "Places of Peace” — This exhibition is dedicated to the late and beloved artist Art Rosenbaum and centers on the work that Peter created the night he learned of Art’s passing. Birds have always been his inspiration.
Hotel Indigo, Athens
ArtWall@Hotel Indigo: Photography by Lucy Reback and Megan Reilly — These New York-based photographers have been living and working in Athens for the past two years. The artists, who are also a couple, have never exhibited collaboratively. These works span five years; some were taken before the couple met, and others are intimate vignettes of their relationship. The fragmented assemblage of their combined work reinterprets these memories, bending time to include the other in their past and articulate the present connection.
Glass Cube: “Aurora,” an installation by multimedia artist Zane Cochran featuring changing light and geometric lanterns based on occurrences of the Northern Lights. Open 24/7.
The Classic Center
The Classic Center galleries will be closed this Third Thursday due to an event in the space.
Third Thursday was established in 2012 to encourage attendance at Athens’ established art venues through coordination and co-promotion by the organizing entities. This schedule and venue locations and regular hours can be found at 3thurs.org.

Originalartikel   Read the full article
