"Nothing is cute when you do it. Maybe when you are quiet," Vidar nods, a grin crossing his face, "then it is cute. Like a little baby," he says, reaching to pinch his little brother's cheek before shoving his face away in the same breath. He tsks and shakes his head. "I would do so if I thought she did not deserve to carry the full attention of such a day. To share it would do them both a disservice," declares the older Jansen confidently. "But I see you do not care if you make your white wolf feel less than the rarest of jewels on a ceremony day. You may know where to stick your cock, brother, but you've much to learn by way of romance," Vidar says with a shrug, as though he's the ultimate authority on such matters.

Taking a swig, he snickers at his brother's proclamation. "Your smile is blood in the water for sharks. It makes people want to attack. It is very ugly honestly. That is probably why." He determines with a smug smile. Vidar lets Loki's arm rest across his shoulder, using the proximity to elbow him in the side. "When Adrie is here you will see. Our affections run true. Not even time or distance or the gods can separate our hearts." The fondness in his tone says he means every word, no matter how Adrie has denied it. He knows she loves him as surely as he knows the sun will rise tomorrow.

Vidar frowns a little as he considers Loki's words. We know that Roan only trusted Ruben because G didn't realize how many Vissers would be in play from the start, but Vidar doesn't. So it prompts him to pause in thought, just for a moment. "Perhaps he was using him as leverage for the others who joined. Either way...a means to an end, no? He found us after all. And Rineike is beta once more. As it should be."

This time, Loki doesn't battle against his eye roll and he lets out a theatrical groan to his brother. "You know exactly what I meant, Vidar. Twisting words is only cute when I do it." he retorts with a mischievous grin, slapping a hand onto his brother's shoulder as if to punctuate his point. He takes another swig from the watered down mead, a gulp that's more for show than the flavor and he grimaces in mock enjoyment. "But, I will humor you." Loki declares next, swallowing slightly from the boring aftertaste of the drink. "If Adrie does love you like you claim, then we should marry our white wolves in the same ceremony. One big party to celebrate how we have won the hearts of such special wolves." he proposes with a gallant shrug, his cheeky grin nowhere near fading from his lips.

But, it does begin to falter when he catches the sharp glare from his brother aimed solely at the situation he finds himself in. "I would never!" Loki proclaims his innocence, a hand rising in an oath. "I do not have to do anything. Cas will plunge the dagger into his own back. All I have to do is...smile." and with that, he gives his best attempt at a grin that isn't cunning or devious. A grit snarl appearing over his face with the obvious concentration for it to appear innocent. "I will practice it." Loki adds, grabbing the cup again for another sip. His arm then heavily throws around Vidar's shoulder, shaking his brother slightly in rough affection. "I think you are just jealous, because I have youth on my side. And a white wolf that clearly desires me no matter what." he pats Vidar's back. "Maybe you would have better luck with Cas than Adrie, that way you still get to enjoy the silvery moon hair." he grins wickedly, falling into a loud cackle. But Loki's shake of his head is sincere about Ruben, another gulp taken from the cup. "Roan likes him, enough to trust him with the title while we searched for Rineike. It is strange, isn't it? He just appeared from nowhere and Roan decided he would be a good leader."

Vidar takes a giant gulp of his own watery drink before gesturing rudely at his brother. "You don't know what you speak of," he laughs, mostly unfazed by Loki's attempt to rattle him. "There is a war going on out there," he waves a hand towards the door, "of course she is not here. She is probably making soldiers wish they had captured her." Because what Adrie lacks in stature, she more than makes up for in wit and cunning. "I am sure if she could be here, she would," he nods, convinced of his words. "I would know if she did not love me anymore." It doesn't matter that she'd refute any claims of love he'd make. But that was part of their game, wasn't it? "Mine doesn't either. You will see. And you will look foolish to doubt when Adrie and I are reunited once more." Said with a flourish of his hand as he takes another large sip, swatting away Loki's hand once more.

He shrugs at his little brother's assertion. "And if you do anything, you will suffer the same fate." Vidar warns with a sinister smile, amused at his little brother's predicament. "Perhaps Esje will still desire you even if you are a eunuch," the older Jansen cackles loudly, ignoring stares as their native tongue reaches confused ears. "I suppose seeing your ugly face can make any of us feel better and thank the gods we still have our good looks." He teases sharply, despite the undercurrent of concern for their older brother. Twisting the glass in his hand, Vidar's lip twitches and he shrugs. "I do not think he is a threat. A big ugly tree with no roots. It will topple over when there is a storm."

"So, we will drink more to make up for it." Loki declares with laughter, seizing the drink Vidar shoves at him and realizes he now has two—an unexpected bonus. With a mischievous glint, he takes a hearty gulp from one, only to splutter at Vidar's exclamation. "Right, that makes so much sense." he goads, rolling his eyes in playful disbelief. "It seems like she enjoys being anywhere but near you, Vidar. There's only one Jansen and Grimm love story." he chuckles, toasting to his own with Esje and downing more of his drink. His grin widens as Vidar catches on to his true intentions, and Loki responds with an innocent shrug. "I don't need her to appreciate me. She already does. Because, unlike your white wolf, my little white wolf doesn't hate me." he boasts, flicking his fingers sharply against his brother's ear.

Loki exudes confidence about Cas, a threat that he welcomes with a wide shrug and a boastful smile. "He won't do anything. If he does, Esje would hate him." he scoffs, reveling in his own bravado. However, a sudden realization dawns on him that he's in a similar predicament. Doing anything about Cas would turn Esje against himself, and that's not a risk he's willing to take. He grumbles, washing away the fleeting sorrow with a substantial gulp from his drink. Loki then acknowledges Vidar's insights about Skoll, nodding. "I will see him soon. After this." Loki gestures to their drinks, assuming time at the bar with Vidar will be brief. "Maybe he just missed his favorite younger brother, and seeing me again will make him feel better." Loki chuckles, playfully nudging Vidar. He hums about the outsider, scoffing into his drink again which he finishes. Slamming the empty glass to the bar without restraining his strength, grimacing as it smashes upon impact. Which he ignores when he looks back at Vidar. "I think he is lurking in the shadows like a big ugly tree, waiting for her title. She should watch her back."
