How can outsourcing biomedical equipment repair services help a hospital?
Outsourcing has become a popular business model today, and is used by many industries to control their expenses and streamline costs. This is even true for hospitals and other healthcare facilities. With the technological advances in biomedical equipment, it has become a monumental, time consuming task to keep up with regulatory compliance needed in healthcare. To improve the quality of care offered at their facility, hospitals not only need to invest in the right Pacific Medical Equipment but also reduce the impact of biomedical equipment on their bottom line. To achieve this goal, many hospitals today outsource biomedical equipment repair services. Outsourcing can eliminate the need to hire in-house resources; which ultimately lowers the labor and operational costs of a hospital.
Outsourcing basically is the act of contracting a third-party to handle specific aspects or tasks of a business, in order to reduce the responsibility of the in-house staff. The third party providers of BMES Equipment Repair service have the skills and experience to conduct repairs on even expensive, branded equipment. Outsourcing such services provides hospitals with access to skilled, certified biomedical technicians only whenever they need. Removing the payroll expense of an in-house equipment repair staff from the budget of a hospital will create the opportunity to invest the savings in other areas of the facility.
On the whole, it must be understood that buying biomedical equipment from a trusted company likeJaken medical is not enough. Hospitals also need to pay adequate attention to biomedical equipment upkeep and repairs. Outsourcing such tasks can be quite beneficial for any hospital

This is a entry for day 7 of @inuvember event Inuvember 2023 featuring Rin.
Since the death of her parents and brothers to bandits, there is doubts that Rin would survive into adulthood as she become homeless, living in a hut far from her village. The horrible murder of her family has left Rin with nightmares and made her mute.
Rin find a strange young man in armor with long white hair and a wound. As Rin walk up to him, the man growl at her direction and his eyes turn red. Rin was a bit stunned, but she remain her spot as the man lay back due to his injuries. Rin see that the wound is not deep, but this man need medical aid or else he will die. The wounded man said to her without opening his eyes, “Leave me to die. I will not help a child help me.”
For a few days, Rin has been taking care of the strange man, despite his refusal. One day, the man said to Rob, “You are quite strange. You are willing to help a person that you just meet.” and Rin smile.
When Rin got back home, she saw a ugly looking man with a scar over his left eye and wearing a wolf fur drinking her water and noticed the girl right away. As Rin become frightened of the man, he noticed her and ask the girl, “What do you want, girl? Does this old hut belong to you?” Rin nod to answer the stranger’s question just as she hear screams and wolves groans which scare both Rin and the man as he said, “Damn it! They’ve caught up with me already.” and he run away as Rin watched wolves attack the villagers. As the man with the scar got tackle by a trio of wolves, their master, a black hair young man with a brown wolf tail, walk up to the man and said to him, “I had to search high and low for you, thief. You should not leave members of our pack for dead just for the sacred jewel shards.” The young man got a shard of a jewel and then said to the man, “This is for Fenis and Loco.” before he slash the man’s neck. The man said to his wolves, “Well, you have not eaten food for awhile since our hunt on this traitor. You can stay in the village and feed to your hearts’ desire as I go on ahead to check on the others.” and the wolves start attacking and killing the villagers to Rin’s horror.
The wolves come close to Rin and she fear that she may be the end.
Rin awaken in the forest and she was a bit confused as she recall the wolves killing her. Rin made a sound, “Where...” and that surprised her that she could speak again. She then noticed the strange man standing over her as he put a sword back in its sheath and then walk away, “Saying to a strange little green creature, “Let’s go, Jaken. I can smell the nearby village may be already destroyed by those wolves.” Jaken call out to his companion, “Yes, Lord Sesshomaru.” He then said under his breath that Rin overhear, “Even if I’m confused why you use the Tenseiga to bring a human girl back to life, milord.” This surprised Rin that this man, Sesshomaru, bring her back to life. She got no place to go now, but she have to follow him, wherever his travels take him.
Getting on her knees, Rin said to him, “Please my lord, let me travel with you.”
Years has passed since that day and Rin has become a young woman as she put on her hands on her belly where her child is sleeping. After much hardship, Rin has survived to adulthood, all thanks to her encounter with Sesshomaru.

Background
Rin doesn’t remember a whole lot about either one of her parents and what she does is mostly from stories her older brother Toru has told her. They were often gone on missions when she was younger, her mother being a relatively skilled Medical Ninja she was always in need for high stakes missions and her father was just very skilled over all at infiltration and recovery. And one mission they just didn’t come back. Her parents and their team mate never returned and were presumed dead. Rin was six.
Her older brother Toru and younger brother Makoto as well as Rin went to go live with their mother’s sister who ran a small convient store and the three kids help out there after school. Toru takes the loss of their parents hard but tries not to show it for the two younger. He drops out of the Academy and works at the store full time. Rin, who had inherited her mothers medical ninjutsu felt like it was her duty to follow her mothers footsteps so she can make sure no one else has family members that don’t come come from a mission. She doesn’t really have a teacher since her mother has passed away but she is a quick learner and it comes pretty naturally to her (basic healing, clearly she can’t like, operate without a proper teacher)
She is eventually put on a team with Kohaku and Hakudoshi  with Jaken as their Team Leader. Because of her brothers feelings towards  what happened with their parents he and Rin sometimes butt heads on her decision to follow in their footsteps

A favor for a favor?
A demon lord, a hanyo, a two headed dragon, two humans, a kit, and a very loud and annoying kappa.
Their party unfortunately had somehow attracted a band of demons, hellbent on robbing them.
The sacred jewel was long gone, couldn't they catch a break?!
Apparently not. Somehow Inuyasha was thrown into Sesshomaru, slamming into a thick tree. Not a good move on their part, but hey they tried. Key word being tried.
The half brothers by some miracle ended up working together, probably unintentionally but at least the deed was done.
All seemed peaceful, well at least for a moment. Inuyasha cursed loudly, "God damn it! Fuckin' bugs!" He began to scratch profusely, cursing the entire time.
Kagome sighed loudly as the children laughed at his antics. "I swear," she rolled her eyes, "For Pete's sake Inuyasha! You're not a bear!"
He rubbed harshly against the trunk of a tree, "I am today damn it!"
She ushered the kids to follow, finally making camp a ways down the road. She swore she had a twitch in her eye, "I told you if you need itch cream, I have some-"
He scoffed loudly, "Fuck no!" He continued to scratch his poor skin raw, "That shit smells horr-"
Sesshomaru's fist connected to the boys head, knocking him right out. Shippo snickered, returning to the writing practice book Kagome had brought him and Rin.
Kagome watched as he lifted him and set him atop Ah-Un, tossing Jaken on for shits and giggles, "To a river. Far." The dragon took off with the unconscious Inuyasha and now bellowing kappa.
Kagome watched him sit stiffly, he was clearly uncomfortable. "Hey," she approached him, "Are you alright?" He had the gall to look at her like she'd been the reason for his discomfort, "Don't look at me like that."
He held out his hand, waiting.
"I don't have anything in my hands," she spoke showing him her palms.
He snatched her hand up, seeing her teal painted nails. "Assist this one," he grumbled.
She nodded, "I have medication." He shook his head, "Err, what then?"
He pulled his robes off his shoulders, silk pooling around him. She frowned seeing all the red spots on his pale skin, "Sit."
She sat behind him, "You want me to scratch don't you?" She saw the slight nod of what could barely called movement, "Err, you need to tell me if it hurts. These are acrylics, they're harder than-"
"You will not harm this one," he grumbled.
"Alright then," she mumbled and began scratching across his speckled skin.
He groaned breathily after she'd been at it a while, "Harder." Her hands stilled a moment as blood rushed to her cheeks.
She resumed her itching, trying to ignore his husky tones urging more from her. He brought his clawed hand to his face, muffling his groans.
Again his deep timbre called her, "Harder woman." When she apparently was not aggressive enough he scooted further into her lap, "What is it you want from this one?"
"Pardon," she nearly chocked, saliva thick in her throat. "This isn't you scratch my back, I scratch yours," she spoke flustered, "You asked, and I don't mind. You don't have to pay me back."
When his eyes rolled into his head as she itched a particularly prickly spot. "Perhaps not," he moaned, "But this one is willing to scratch the itch you have."
Kagome froze, forgetting how to breathe.
How delightful. 🖤

The Twins & the Mimic | Sesshomaru x human!Reader | Yashahime AU | 1
A/n: I can’t stand sessrin. So I am fixing in this fic. Pedomaru isn’t actually Sesshomaru and reader is the real mother to Satsuna and Towa. Reader is also from modern times just to be more inclusive! Don’t @me. Also female reader. Also not super accurate cuz I stopped watching the shit show after episode 4 so.... hahahah. Complete au.
Tumblr media
“Delicious,” a deep voice spoke.
An image of Sesshomaru, frozen in glass mid transformation was imbedded in the walls of a cave. Nearby, was his mate. His beautiful, human mate was also frozen in place nearby. Sesshomaru was stuck in a frightening pose and it would be quite a surprise for anyone who may stumble upon the image. Fifteen years ago they were trapped here by a mimic demon.
A mimic who now wore the face of Sesshomaru and changed the memories of anyone who was even close to either of the two before him. Sesshomaru’s loyal subjects were just a few feet outside of the cave, yet Jaken hadn’t a clue that his masters were inside, trapped.
That this Sesshomaru was an imposter.
He made everyone believe that Rin did not marry Kohaku but ended up in the arms of Sesshomaru. The change in memories was delicious and the taste of power, though just a quarter of Sesshomaru’s was tantalizing. He didn’t care that the young half-demon spawn of the two were left alone. It didn’t matter.
The only thing that mattered was power and hunger for the demon who only got lucky. He licked his lips after absorbing Sesshomaru’s demonic aura.
The fake Sesshomaru stepped out of the cave and joined Jaken once more.
“What do you do in there m’lord!” Jaken shouted, concerned. It felt strange to the elderly imp, but his mind said that it was normal. It felt to him that something was off but he couldn’t decide what.
Something was different this time when he left. His power weakened this time. The weakness seemed to be just enough, as a large crack began run down the center of Sesshomaru’s glass prison. It was just enough to allow his demonic power to materialize. With a flash of golden light it shattered into dust.
Sesshomaru was free.
The real Sesshomaru was free from his prison, angry. Beyond angry. His memory was fuzzy, for the last thing he remembered was telling his mate to go off and hide his pups. Everything after seemed blank.
The demon lord turned on his heel to inspect where he was only to see his the beautiful mother of his children (Y/n) suspended. His rage boiled harder in his chest at the sight of his woman in such a state, and where were his pups? They were only a few weeks old when he was under attack. He glanced down at his hips to check for a sword but it was gone.
Sesshomaru growled, his claws tinged green with his toxic nails which he used to weaken and destroy his lover’s cage. Without grace, she fell directly into his arms.
“(Y/n).” Sesshomaru’s voice said gently. “Wake up.”
Time like this he wished he still had the tensaiga’s power. His worry was quickly dissipated when he locked eyes with her. “S-Sesshomaru?”
Her eyes widened, remembering the same things he had, only she came back to try and help him foolishly.
“Wha--?” her body shot up. “Where are my babies?!”
“Where did you leave them?” he responded carefully. Her face turned into a frown, tears welling in her eyes. “U-Under the tree! I left them with Rin and Jaken... I--”
“Silence,” His tone was cold but (Y/n) knew he meant well. He wasn’t one for tears or comfort, but he did care about her. He also cared about his offspring and his adopted daughter Rin just as well.
“Hold onto this Sesshomaru,” he said coolly. Her arms wrapped around the dog demon lords neck as he rushed out of the cave.
"Something... is wrong,” She said softly, as Sesshomaru moved to the last place they had been before the attack. He tensed slightly, he was feeling it too. “What if--?”
“Silence,” Sesshomaru repeated, he didn’t want to think of the worst. He couldn’t.
He had landed them right at the last thing he remembered. Just outside of the old village where he had once left young Rin to learn and once again left her there when Kohaku had married her. They were visiting with Towa and Setsuna that day.
“Sesshomaru! They aren’t here!” She called, she ran off into the woods when they had arrived. “Rin--... I---” Panic was settling into the young woman. Where were they?
“Maybe Kaede?” she looked to her own husband. Hope filled her eyes, he simply nodded allowing her to take lead in the search for their young babies. “Maybe Kagome has them!”
It was a hope. She hoped they were with them, (Y/n) just knew her friend wouldn’t allow anything to happen to her babies.
They arrived in the village. It had changed. A lot more young adults around but yet not much had changed besides that.
“Is Lady Kaede home?” (Y/n) asked a young man who looked oddly like Miroku.
He looked at her in surprise. “Lady (Y/n)?”
“Have we met?”
“Not since I was a child... Wait...” he frowned, eyes widening, thinking over the recent events. “Come with me. Lady Kaede should be in her hut” he glanced up noticing Sesshomaru behind her. However, he stayed outside upon arrival to her hut, knowing it kept the peace this way.
A look on his face was both surprise and confusion. He lead them to Kaede who looked busy creating some form of medication.
“Lady Kaede... please. Tell me you know where my daughters are!” there was no time for formalities in her mind. Her poor babies were probably hungry. Who knows how long it had been since they nursed. Kaede froze, dropping the bowl in her hands.
It was as if she was frozen in time, as years of memories flooded her mind. “Please”
“... (Y/n)...” she spoke her name slowly. The old woman said it again as if she were tasting it on her tongue. “Do you know how long it has been since you were here, my child?” She turned to face them, visibly much older than the last time she had saw her.
The look shocked (Y/n) for a moment. “H-how long? Maybe a day or--”
“Fifteen years, (Y/n).”
Her lip quivered.
“Your daughters are fine but--. Sesshomaru,”
“He was trapped with me.”
The elder’s eyes widened. Her memories were foggy. Flashes of Rin with twin girls being birthed in her hut and Sesshomaru running off showed in her mind. She frowned once the idea shattered like glass. In her mind it was quickly replaced, she wasn’t in her hut. No, when the twins were born they were in Sesshomaru’s mother’s palace. The chosen home for (Y/n) wanted her to be apart of her children’s lives since her own family wouldn’t be able to be there.
Kaede remembered her birth being long and difficult. Kagome and Inuyasha were even there despite Sesshomaru’s protests.
He had only wanted Kaede, his mother and Rin at the birth.
The birth was long and hard but in the end (Y/n) and her twin daughters were happy and healthy.
He never took them away. He never was cold towards his wife after the birth of his children. Sesshomaru sat on the mat in their room, holding tiny Towa while (Y/n) held tiny Setsuna. Why did she remember otherwise?
Why did she remember Rin being the mother? That would have only--.
“Your daughters are fine... but whoever stole my memories must have been the one to abandon them... and... Rin...”
Without hesitation (Y/n) left the hut.
“Sesshomaru... we have to find them.”

As I re-imagined Yashahime with Towa and Setsuna not being daughters of Sesshōmaru and Rin or simply another future story, I was thinking of what would become of Rin in the future. And someone taught me something valuable: instead of remaining a helpless dependent girl and just a side piece for someone else, Rin as an adult, no matter who you are shipping her with, should be allowed to be independent of that person you ship her with and to follow her own passions.
I’ve seen some picturing her in various ways including as a demon slayer or a miko, but remembering how she tried to nurse Sesshōmaru the first time she met him and found the berries to save Jaken in episode 96, and as she came to live with Kaede who knows medical treatment and assisted her in delivering Sango’s children at the end of the story, I thought becoming a physician would fit her.
And I picture it like this: While living with Kaede in her village and assisting her in many ways, she thought of how helpless and a liability she was before and wanted to honor everyone’s efforts in saving her life and become useful. So she learned medical treatments from Kaede then, knowing that the demon slayers, despite making their livelihood by killing demons, do not see all demons as a threat and peacefully co-exist with demons who are friendly or do not pose a threat to humans, she relocated in the village of demon slayers, where Kohaku, Sango and Miroku were rebuilding the clan, to operate as their physician not only for them but for any kind of people (human, demon and hanyō) who would either come or be brought here by the demon slayers, and she’d ride on A-Un whenever she’d be needed somewhere else. Additionally, as someone who had her family killed by humans and was cared by a demon, it would help in assuring the demon slayer clan’s code of conduct to remain. She herself would stop some demon slayers, who joined the clan after their families perished because of demons, when they’d attempt to kill an innocent demon, and tell them how it was humans who killed her family and a demon who looked after her to teach them how there's good and evil in anything and to make them understand the demon slayer clan’s code of conduct.
And to become less helpless and less likely a liability, she could have learned some fighting skills and how to use certain weapons to at least defend herself (like the curved blade strapped to her wrist and some bombs). *Image done through Photoshop editing, using a character named Natsuno from Mao (Takahashi’s currently on-going manga)

Hey! I saw you're open to requests so I was wondering maybe if you could write a fic abt sessh × reader with reader getting grave injured and sessh all worried n stuff (but please dont kill her🤣) and then maybe a confession and FLUFF at the end????
Heya, my requests are always open. It just takes me a while to get stuff out, which also goes for this one here! Inuyasha content has been popular as of late, is it because the new series is out? Anyway, please enjoy!
Fandom: Inuyasha
Character: Sesshomaru
Tumblr media
Casualties after a fight were to be expected, wounds after a battle even more so. Sesshomaru hadn’t thought much of it when he first saw you, bloodied and scratched up. When you smiled at him he had thought even less of it, believing your smile to be a sign that you were alright. You had fought ardently, and the demon knew you to be a capable fighter on your own. You didn’t need the fuss of a prince on a white horse, you didn’t need a knight in shining armour. A scratch or two, a streak of blood here and there, perhaps even a scar. It was nothing to him, as long as he knew you would survive. He relied on that, he trusted that you would.
“Lord Sesshomaru!” Rin’s shrill voice had sounded through the valley. Miles away from the fight, where the corpses of their enemies laid to rot. Hours past since he had last asked you how you were, if you were alright and whether you needed medical attention. You had declined all, reassuring him that it was just a superficial flesh wound that was easily dressed.
Yet, there you were, slumped in the grass, your hand holding your waist through which the demon could smell your blood seep through. It flowed in copious amounts, like a rivulet, steady in its stream while the fabric of your clothes soaked it up.
“Why did you keep quiet?” Sesshomaru’s first question wasn’t meant to be so accusatory, but the demon couldn’t help it as he reached your side, his hands quick to press against your wound as he felt your pulse. It wasn’t too weak, you were strong, but you were fragile at the same time. It seemed that the wound had only recently opened up, suggesting that you had tried to stitch it up alone.
“Figured that I would be fine,” you responded in a ragged breath followed by a groan and the demon clicked his tongue, not liking your answer one bit. “Clearly not, just tell Rin to turn away for a bit, okay?” you continue, a reassuring smile blooming as you look at the frantic girl. Diligent as ever Jaken pulled the human away, worry clear in the goblin’s eyes as well as he eyed you over.
“I will help,” Sesshomaru tells you firmly once the two of you are alone. Reaching out for your waist he helps you undress your wound, not caring for the way the red stains his hands, or his usually pristine clothes and fur.
Stopping his hands you try to look the demon in the eyes, your smile ever so present as you even out your breath. “Sesshomaru,” you call for the man when he refuses to meet your gaze, willing him to face you as you can see the tension in his, “will you help me stitch it?” you ask instead, deciding that apologising, or making up more excuses for your state wasn’t going to help. The demon wouldn’t take them well, not in the state he was now.
A scoff escapes the male as he takes the needle you offer, a glare set on his face before he wills himself to be emotionless once more.
“You did a lousy job the first time,” is all that he gives you with a growl. It is in the way he stitches you up that gives away his true feelings, however. The slight tremor in his hands, the gentleness replacing his haughty pride, and the tenderness in which he treated your wound before calling for water from Jaken.
“Next time,” he starts, back turned towards you as you change your dress, “tell me immediately, this will only slow us down more,” he continues, the displeasure clear in his voice as he rises up, eyes squinting out over the area in which you found yourself.
“For now we will find a place to rest, use A-Un.”
The orders are crisp and clear, perhaps even a bit condescending, but he knows that he is being dishonest. He knows that what he actually means to say are all between the lines of his words. Judging from your cheery smile and the way Rin giggles, Sesshomaru knows that you know as well, with only Jaken’s incessant badgering and scolding being the thing that is protecting the demon from your teasing, though not from the attention.

As someone who grew up with the show during its original run I’d like to add something to the conversation.
There is a way to determine an accurate timeline and to do so, we look to Kagome the original main character. Kagome was born in 1982 and the story begins in 1997 when she’s 15. She’s our baseline.
In the final act, she’s 18, which makes it 2000 ish.
A year later, she’s 19 which is when the epilogue is set, 2001.
Now Towa at 4 years old is transported to modern time, stated to be 2010 which, considering she spends 10 years there, makes it 2020 when our current story takes place as far as modern time goes.
Meaning Moroha, Setsuna and Towa, all 14, would be 2006 babies.
It’s commonly accepted when Rin is introduced she’s 8 when Kagome is 15 and by the final act she’s 11 when Kagome is 18 and the modern year would be 2000.
Rin would be giving birth in 2006 at the age of 17 and presumably pregnant at 16 which while I personally would like her to be older and more mature, is a rather common age for pregnancy in our modern time. Rin is by no means a child or preteen giving birth to the twins.
I’m not entirely sure what happened with Hisui, by the given time line I presume it was an oversight to make him so young.
The following is my personal take:
I’m also not going to argue interpretation of relationships but in their time period, the feudal era, a 16 year old bride doesn’t strike me as seeming like it’d be scandalous. Sesshomaru is obviously considerably older but as Inuyasha is similarly older than Kagome, I cant support one and condemn the other. Kagome may be older and have a better education than Rin but in terms of worldly experience, Rin has died twice, was orphaned and supporting herself prior to meeting Sesshomaru and continued to do so afterward joining him, albeit with A-Un and Jaken for protection at that point. Rin spent her developmental years after the main story practicing medical assistance with Kaede, I will not disrespect her by accusing Rin of being “a child” when she became a mother as she has in her own right developed into a young adult with skill and experience surviving a time that is unforgiving to the weak and misfortunate.
Sesshomaru throughout the series has protected Rin but I think the creators have shown time and time again, he’s never forced her to join him. When the time came for her to mature, he made sure she was somewhere safe and healthy, remember Rin doesn’t like humans either given where she came from when they met, while never abandoning her and expressing in clear terms he’d always be there for her in whatever capacity she needed him to be.
Rin has agency. She is brave, she’s intelligent and fierce. Don’t throw that away to patronize her because you disagree with her choice. We owe her more than that.

EPISODE 5: The Band of Seven, Resurrected
WELCOME TO EPISODE 5! So far, episode 6 is up on my Patreon already, and episode 7 is in progress. Support me on Patreon to see stuff first!
IMPORTANT: I am starting to integrate the art into the story a little differently! Instead of just visualizing a moment in the scene, the image will replace the lines it's depicting. It'll work more like a hybrid graphic novel, that way it'll flow better. (So don't skip over the art, read it like you would a western comic!)
Reminder: [Dialogue like this is English!]
EPISODE 5, LESSGO! ☆*:.。.o(≧▽≦)o.。.:*☆
It was a bit of a long flight between the bone-eater’s well and the spot where Luna last left her sister and her friends.
They were still headed northeast, still trying to find Naraku. But Luna’s supply of ammunition only lasted so long, and she decided she probably needed more medical supplies if they were all gonna make it past this war with Naraku. So she’d gone back to the modern era for a few days, and called Alice to get her connections with other Hunters in Japan—so Luna could make more Sacred Salt rounds without having to explain to international customs why she was getting a bunch of empty shotgun shells, non-native herbs, and a few other assorted (weird) things she needed.
So she’d gone home for a few days. Thankfully, she didn’t have to walk; Airisu (who still objected to Luna calling her ‘Alice’, but agreed to the simple nickname ‘Ai’) in full demon form could fly pretty fast, but she ran out of steam after about an hour. It took them a full day (including rest time) to get back to the village, and the same on the way back.
But before they joined back up with their friends, Luna had a stop to make.
Tumblr media
It ain’t hard to miss, she thought snarkily, he’s like a damn homing beacon.
Finally, among all the green of the forests, she spotted a speck of white. Easy. “There they are!”
Ai set them down just behind the little group of travelers—Rin, the little imp Jaken, the big horse-dragon (Ah-Un, Luna believed?), and heading the line was, of course, Lord Fussy Britches himself. Rin spotted them before they touched down, and greeted delightfully:
“Miss Luna!”
The Hunter’s arrival brought the others to a halt, and for some reason, Luna found a very smug satisfaction in the incredibly irritated, over-the-shoulder side eye she got from Sesshomaru. But she paid him no mind; she was here for Rin.
Tumblr media
Luna held out her hand, unfolding her fingers to reveal three beautiful pearls, strung on a little leather cord. Each of them glinted with an odd pink sheen and were warm to the touch; anyone with any sort of spiritual senses might’ve picked up on the soft energy radiating from them.
Tumblr media
Luna tied the cord tightly at the ends and moved to slip it over the little girl’s head.
“As if she would ever need such a ridiculous thing!”
Luna swore one of these days, she was gonna drop kick that little frog. “Look, dude—”
“It’s Jaken, insolent human!”
“—I’m just looking out for her. No need to burst a blood vessel.”
“What is she to you?”
Luna was actually shocked to be addressed by Sesshomaru himself. He was still giving her the side eye, but there was less irritation and more of… something Luna couldn’t place. Maybe she was flirting with death, but she couldn’t resist.
She stood tall, chin high, and responded: “What is she to you?”
There was the anger: contained, but frigid and harsh as the Arctic behind those amber eyes. Sesshomaru did not answer her, but Jaken sure did.
“How dare you, human! Your nerve is surpassed only by your stupidity to speak to Lord Sesshomaru that way! Surely you wish for death!”
Only sometimes. “Can it, Kermit!” She snapped at him, “I ask because he’s always leaving her alone, with nothing but you to protect her! You, who are half her size and don’t have much in the way of defense!” She moved her challenging gaze to Sesshomaru again, steadfast. “So I ask again, what is she to you, if you leave her with barely any protection so often? Because to me, she’s a friend and I care about her, so I brought her these as a last resort option, in case you’re not around and she needs help.”
There it was, that unreadable expression again. Sesshomaru was definitely incomparable at hiding his true emotions—something Luna could absolutely not stand. Tense silence hung in the air for a moment, before Luna shrugged, holding her hands up.
“Hey, think of it this way,” She said, trying a sly little smile, “You’re a busy guy. It’s one less thing you have to worry about. And if she never needs them, at least it’s a pretty necklace.”
Man, this guy was good at keeping quiet. But now, the icy glare was gone. Luna swore she could see just the tiniest arc of a silver eyebrow before the demon turned back around on the path they’d all been heading.
“Jaken, let’s go.”
Flabbergasted, Jaken tripped over himself trying to follow. “Y-yes milord!”
Grinning, Luna got back down to Rin’s level. “You take care, okay kid?”
“I will! And thank you so much for these— I don’t think I’ll need them because Lord Sesshomaru always comes to save me, but I’ll wear them anyway!”
“That’s all I ask,” This little angel was definitely gonna need it at some point. “But if you do need me, I’ll always be there for you, okay? I promise.”
The smile on Rin’s face could’ve melted the ice caps. “Thank you.”
Luna stopped her as she started to leave. “Hold on, one more thing. Each one only works once before it shatters, so you gotta save them for when you’re really in trouble, okay?”
“Okay, I will! Bye, Miss Luna!” Rin grinned, waving at her friend before hurrying after the demons.
Luna chuckled, turning back to Ai for a second before something occurred to her. “Hey, Sesshomaru!”
He didn’t turn to look at her this time, but he did pause in his walking.
Good enough. “I heard there was something going down in the Northeast—direction of the Ox and Tiger. Something to do with Naraku. Thought you might like to know.” She didn’t wait to see if he heard or registered what she said; she just hopped back on Ai’s back, and the two of them took off.
“I hope you know conflating bravery with stupid pride is more than likely to get you killed one of these days.” Ai said as she lifted into the sky.
“Oh most definitely,” Luna laughed. “But as much of a pompous man-child as he is, you can tell he cares for that girl more than he’s willing to admit.”
“That may be, but he’ll definitely kill you if you keep disrespecting him.”
“That’s a risk I’m willing to take, for Rin’s sake.” Luna’s voice was soft, carried off by the wind. “That little angel’s been through enough, she deserves someone in her corner.”
~    ~    ~
Finally catching sight of their friends again was a bit of a relief for both Luna and Ai. It had been a long couple of days, going all the way home and coming back. Part of Luna hoped they’d get just a little bit of rest before whatever shit hit the fan next, but another part knew the odds on that were pretty low. Still, it was nice to be back.
Kagome was the first to spot them as they flew in. “It’s Luna!”
“Luna’s back!” Shippo proclaimed joyfully.
“Hey, y’all,” Luna greeted as Ai touched down. She hopped off the demon’s back as her friends offered their greetings. “What’d I miss?” She asked.
Miroku was the one to answer. “Quite a lot. It seems that we may encounter a new enemy: the local villagers recently informed us of a group of mercenaries called the Band of Seven. The villagers believe these ruthless killers may have been brought back from the dead.”
With a grin on her face, Luna shrugged at the idea. “Undead mercs, huh? Nothin’ we can’t handle.” She held up her fist for her sister to bump it, and as Ai changed back to her human form, Luna noticed their little group was smaller than it should’ve been. “Where’s Sango?”
Kagome bumped fists with her sister, smiling at Luna’s nonchalant comment. “She went off with Kilala. I sensed a Jewel Shard nearby earlier… so I think she may have gone to look for Kohaku.”
Luna didn’t have time to respond. Off in the distance, she heard the distinctive echo of a sound she was all too familiar with.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Inuyasha hopped up onto a tree limb, hoping to get a look at what was happening. He couldn’t see it, but he sure as hell could smell it. “And it ain’t from just a handful of people, either.”
So much for a second to rest, Luna chuckled to herself as she tightened the straps on her backpack and immediately kicked into gear. “What’re we waiting for, then?”
And off they were, charging headlong into danger as always. Luna could sense something was up; more so than usual. The stench of blood was never a good sign in the first place, but there was something else setting off warning bells. Something she couldn’t put a finger on.
Tumblr media
The smell got stronger and stronger, until… they reached its source. Despite the amount of nasty shit she’d seen in her ten years of hunting supernatural monsters, there were some things that still turned her stomach, and seeing a single human being standing in a veritable ring of blood and gore was definitely one of them. His black hair was pulled into a twist; his lips were painted red, he had blue tattoos like tear tracks under each eye, and one side of his kimono was tucked up under his belt. The dude was just squatting in the middle of the carnage, eyeballing the barrel of a matchlock gun like it was his first time seeing one (which, hell, it might be, she thought to herself; in this time, they would’ve only recently been invented). He seemed completely unbothered by the dozen and a half bodies of freshly murdered warriors and their horses surrounding him.
Inuyasha was the one to get to the scene just ahead of the others, calling back over his shoulder: “Stay back! Don’t come over here!”
Instinctively, Luna remained in front of her sister, her arm out to try and block her view. Her stomach was churning, and her hand was poised to pull her gun if needed. No way this guy could be human… right?
“Did… that one person do all this?” Kagome’s voice was a shocked whisper.
It was then that the guy in the middle noticed them. He stood, his sword over his shoulder and his head cocked slightly to the side.
“Are you the one I’ve been looking for?” He asked, a grin on his face as he shielded his eyes from the sun. “Are you Inuyasha?!”
“Got a bad feeling about this.” Luna mumbled, “That guy isn't a demon, is he?”
“I don’t think so,” Kagome uttered back to her, “I don’t sense a demonic aura….”
“How’d you know my name?!” Inuyasha demanded.
He got no answer out of the guy with the sword. Instead, the guy squealed: “You’re adorable!”
A dumbfounded silence fell over the group. Luna glanced around at the others to make sure she didn’t just lose her mind—but no, the general consensus among her friends was along the lines of ‘what the actual fuck?’
“I especially love those fuzzy ears of yours!” The guy continued, licking his lips. “I want them~”
Alright, so this guy was nuts. Luna had had enough of ignoring the bad vibe she was picking up from him. She dropped her bag next to Kagome’s bike and readied herself for a fight: detached the ammo bag and shotgun holster from her pack and slung them over her shoulder, slipped her short sword through one of the belt loops on her jeans, and pulled her shotgun to make sure it was in hand and loaded. She kept her eyes moving back and forth between Inuyasha and the dude with the sword during the next exchange:
“Who are you?” Inuyasha demanded, “What are you after? You don’t smell like a living person, you reek like corpses and graveyard soil!”
No answer.
“Inuyasha,” Miroku said in realization: “Could he be—?”
“Yep,” Inuyasha confirmed, before calling out to the guy with the sword again: “Some villagers were talking! They said some disgusting specter rose up from the grave. That’d be you, I presume!”
Right, zombies, Luna thought to herself; if he really is undead, the Sacred Salt won’t do as much as it would a demon… It’d sting, but what I really need is-… She smirked and holstered her gun again, grabbing a different weapon from the bottom of her bag.
“Are you one of the Band of Seven?!” Miroku asked of the specter as Luna was tuning back in. “Answer me!”
After a long pause as the specter seemed to size the monk up, his response was even worse than before. “Inuyasha really is good looking, but you’re pretty sexy yourself~”
Luna snorted so hard she thought she was gonna eject her brain through her nose. Ai whacked her in the arm as a warning.
“No one minds if I suck him up, do they?” Miroku grumbled.
“No.” Inuyasha said, flatly.
“Hold on!” Kagome said, “He’s got a Sacred Jewel Shard! He must’ve been revived with the power of the Shard!”
“So that was what I was sensing,” Luna mumbled, “but why does it feel off...?”
“Where’d you get the Jewel Shard?!” Inuyasha once again attempted to pose a question to their opponent, only to once again receive a weird, adoring response:
“You know, you’re cute when you’re angry~!”
“Shut up!” Inuyasha shouted, jumping forward and drawing his sword. “Alright, dead man, you’d better start talking to me, and I want real answers!”
The expression on the specter’s face shifted from one of reverence to one more sadistic as he regarded Tetsusaiga. “That’s an interesting sword you have there… let’s see whose is stronger.” He lifted his own sword, making an odd motion around his head and shoulders with it as if he were gearing up for something. “Yours or mine?!”
When he brought his arm down, something that looked almost like a bolt of silver lightning shot from his blade. Inuyasha barely had the chance to block it as it cut an arc through the air toward him.
“Inuyasha!” Kagome called out in surprise.
“Stay back!” Miroku threw his arm out in an attempt to shield the others. “It’s some kind of trick sword!”
“That’s my cue!” Ai shifted into full demon form, jerking her head at the sisters and the little fox. “All aboard!”
Kagome climbed on no issue, but Luna glanced at Miroku, who made no move to follow them. “You coming?”
“I’ll be alright, you keep them safe.” Miroku said, resolute. Not about to argue, Luna climbed on the demon’s back and Ai leapt into the air above the fight.
“You gonna be okay holding all of us after that long flight?” Luna asked her friend.
“I’m fine, it’s the same weight as you with your pack on.” Ai sassed back.
“Yeah well, fuck me for being prepared,” Luna laughed, starting to prep the other weapon she’d brought.
Kagome managed to tear her eyes from the confrontation below to try and see what her sister was doing. “What did you bring, Luna?”
Luna grinned as she clicked the last accessory into place, then turned back to show her sister. “This? This is my baby.” She held up her favorite weapon: it was a fully-customized folding compound crossbow as long as Luna’s arm. She pressed a release on the side, and the arms shot into place, making both Shippo and Kagome jump.
“Whoa!” The fox demon exclaimed, “What kind of a weapon is that?!”
“It’s a crossbow, Shippo,” Kagome explained, “It’s kind of like my bow, but the arrows are smaller and it’s easier to fire.”
“Self-loading, too,” Luna smirked as she strung it up, “The ‘arrows’ are called bolts or darts. This thing can shoot way faster than a longbow, and since we’re dealing with Zombie Harley Quinn down there—” She grabbed a bolt from her ammo bag to show it to them, “—we’re gonna need these. They’re tipped with pure silver. Great for dealing with Vampires, Werewolves, The Undead, and The Unholy.”
Shippo reached out to touch it, but Kagome stopped him, shaking her head rapidly. “It’s safe to assume you shouldn’t touch anything Luna has in her bag, Shippo.”
The kid swallowed nervously. “G-got it...”
Below them, the fight continued. Inuyasha could barely avoid each strike of the snakelike sword, and his opponent only seemed to be having more and more fun.
“What do you think of Jakotsu of the Band of Seven, huh?!” He shouted as he swung the sword once more.
“Not too much!” Inuyasha came back at him with Tetsusaiga, but to no avail.
Kagome gasped. “He needs help!”
“That’s what this baby’s for,” Luna grinned, patting her crossbow. “Ai, can you stay out of reach of the sword but get me close enough to shoot?!”
“It’ll take a miracle!”
“Better start praying, then,” Luna lined up the shot, finger still as stone on the trigger. There was a familiar voice in the back of her head; she could hear her father saying: “Aim for where they’re gonna be, not where they are.”
I know, dad. She tried not to sigh audibly as she managed to get Jakotsu’s head in her crosshairs and pulled the trigger, quick as a viper.
And… almost missed him.
Tumblr media
The consecrated silver bolt seemed to burn through the air as it shot just centimeters shy of the specter’s nose and grazed his arm, burning a hole in his kimono. He whipped his attention to the woman who shot it.
“How dare you interfere?!” He snarled, rearing his arm back and whipping his blade toward them.
Luna felt her stomach drop.
Tumblr media
“You idiot!” Ai snapped at her, trying to fly out of range of the sword as Kagome and Shippo both clung, screaming, to Luna’s back. Just as the sword arched toward them, there was a familiar cry of:
“HIRAIKOTSU!”
And Jakotsu’s blade was then tangled around the aforementioned boomerang. All three riding on Ai’s back sighed in relief when they saw Sango swoop in on Kilala. Ai touched down just as Kilala did, transforming into her human form and unceremoniously dumping the sisters on their asses.
“Are you all okay?” Sango called over to them.
“We’re fine!” Shippo answered.
“Perfect timing, Sango!” Kagome said.
“Some weapon, Luna!” Ai huffed in the Hunter’s direction. Luna just stuck her tongue at her.
Jakotsu was practically red in the face, shrieking in frustration: “What is with all you vile women?! Can’t you see I’m trying to battle Inuyasha?!” In the same breath, he whipped his sword again, toward Sango this time. The movement freed Hiraikotsu, and ended up leaving a small slice on Sango’s arm as Jakotsu pulled it back.
“Stay out of this!” He continued, “None of you will interfere!”
But their “interference” had served Inuyasha well enough: it gave him just the opportunity he needed to rear back and punch the specter in the face.
“Shut up! I’m tired of listening to your pointless babble!” Inuyasha growled.
Jakotsu grunted as he tumbled back, then rubbed his cheek and pouted like a kicked puppy. “That was cruel…”
“Oh, get over it!” Inuyasha snapped, “Now tell me who gave you the Sacred Jewel Shard before I have to seriously hurt you!”
Kagome and Miroku rushed to see if Sango was okay, but she assured them that it was just a graze; she was fine. Her attention was more on the subject at hand.
“I have a feeling that the shard came from Naraku,” She said, somberly. She looked at Kagome. “When you sensed a Jewel Shard earlier… it was Kohaku. I saw the Saimiyosho around him as well.”
“That means that your brother is still under Naraku’s control…” Miroku said. Sango nodded.
Luna had set her weapon down next to her backpack, and came back with a bandage for Sango’s arm. Her mind was going at a million miles an hour, trying to figure out how the hell they were gonna handle this—first an undead band of Ronin, now they have something to do with Naraku. What was Naraku playing at...?
“Gotta wonder what the hell is next…” Luna mumbled sarcastically.
Seconds later, she would regret asking. A cloud of black smoke poured over the cliffside, drifting right toward them.
Like he knew what was happening, Jakotsu got up and collected his sword. “Inuyasha! You should get out of here while you can! Bye!” And with that, he was just… gone.
“What the hell—” Inuyasha broke off with a startled yell when the cloud reached him. “Its poison!”
“But where’s it coming from?!” Miroku wondered.
“We need to move.” Luna reassembled her bag in less than thirty seconds—side effect of doing it so often. “We can figure out what the hell is going on when we’re safely away from here!”
Why do I feel like we stepped into something huge here? Luna thought to herself as the group of friends moved away from the cloud of gas.

An introduction to Philips IntelliVue G5 Anesthetic Gas Module
General anesthesia is widely used in hospitals to prevent patients from feeling pain during surgery. Halogenated anesthetics like sevoflurane and desflurane are typically administered in combination with nitrous oxide for the purpose of producing surgical levels of anesthesia. Anesthesia gas module is meant to provide anesthesia gas measurements without complex setup operations, so that medical professionals can make swift clinical decisions. Anesthesia decisions majorly depend on the knowledge of both the agent and the patient. Certain aesthesia gas modules can integrate gas measurements into your monitoring system while facilitating easy and smooth handling.
Philips IntelliVue G5 Anesthetic Gas Module is designed to measure five of the most commonly used anesthetic gases, along with dioxide (CO2) and nitrous oxide (N2O). Waveforms for cases are displayed on patient monitors, which are sold separately and can be purchased through vendors like Jaken medical. Philips IntelliVue G5 is quite practical for lower- acuity settings. However, its advanced capabilities make the anesthetic gas module well-suited for used for higher-acuity environments as well. Philips G5 identifies agents automatically and features mixed-agent measurement capability. Oxygen (O2) measurement based on advanced paramagnetic technology is included with the G5. This anesthetic gas module is quite durable, easy to maintain and compact. Its gas sensors have no moving parts, which makes them highly dependable.
Branded anesthetic gas modules can be purchased through well-established vendors of biomedical equipment and supplies like Siella Medical. Buying branded biomedical equipment is vital to be assured of its longevity.

Yashahime Season 2, Episode 26 Reaction Post
These posts are probably always going to be late because I work on weekends and I’m usually too exhausted to write full, thought out reactions.
-No cold open this week. Also had Setsuna doing the narration which I don't think has happened before(?) Last week’s was just a season 1 recap.
-Totally self-indulgent but I was disappointed we didn’t get an origin story for Riku’s new swag. I wanted a scene like from a movie where he stands on a podium in front of a full-length mirror while a salesman with whatever the feudal Japan equivalent of a posh british accent is holds up a jacket and goes, “May I recommend the black with the red and gold trim, Lord Riku.”
-Also wanted to see him swing by feudal Jacob the Jeweler to get the pirate sword upgrade for his earring. Come on, Sunrise. Indulge me. INDULGE ME.
-I love these scenes where Riku goes to visit some mysterious contact because the vibe he gives off is less threatening anti-hero a la Sesshomaru and more like a charismatic weed dealer who heard you could point him in the direction of some high-grade medical kush.
-Modern AU Riku should always either be a high-class drug dealer or someone who like, scams rich college kids in the Hamptons.
-Riku: I’m thinking of doing whatever I please. Mimisenri: You mean Sesshomaru’s daughters? Sorry, my mind went straight to the gutter.⚆_⚆
-I’m not even past the 4 minute mark yet. I just love Riku so much.
-The animation was really top notch in this episode. I’m not totally fond of the style but this is as good as this show is ever gonna look.
-I read some criticism of Setsuna’s behavior toward Towa (i.e. that Setsuna was acting too coldly and running off on a mission with Moroha without telling her where she was going). But this fits with Setsuna’s patterns of behavior established from season 1. Setsuna is like Sesshomaru in that she rarely feels the need to explain herself, even to people she cares about.
-I think what Setsuna really needs is a Jaken. Jaken was a great character to have because he verbalized and explained the taciturn Sesshomaru’s motivations to the audience and Sesshomaru hitting him with rocks was funny.
-It literally just occurred to me that the Inuyasha universe actually DOES have a feudal equivalent to Jacob the Jeweler and it’s Hosenki.
-Everything reminds Towa of Setsuna. She’s like one of Pavlov’s dogs except the bell can just be anything. LOL.
-Why does Sea Snake Lady have to have modesty hair when Mistress Centipede just gets to go tits out? Is there an uncovered boob quota?
-The heavily butchered censored anime of my youth would’ve given both the ancient demon ladies digital bikinis and I would not have had to question this.
-Setsuna having amazing hair is canon. Yes, this was something I needed.
-Every time Kohaku shows up, I wish he had a bigger role. One, because Kohaku is awesome, but also because he would make a great mentor to the group and connection to the world of Inuyasha before the new characters were born without taking the focus or the spotlight away from them like the parents would.
-This episode’s story felt very classic Inuyasha to me. As far as filler episodes, like with the animation, this is probably as good as it’s going to get.
-The horniness of the demons in this universe is off the charts. They see one hot human and they’re ready to risk it all o( ̄▽ ̄)d
-This village has the same Whacking Day tradition as Springfield.
-You can tell Katsuyuki Sumisawa wrote both this and Gundam Wing because Sea Snake Lady has Dorothy Catalonia’s twig eyebrows.
-I got my Ritowa crumbs with Riku protecting Towa and her immediately guessing that the water freezing was his doing.
-Sumisawa also wrote the 3rd movie, which opens up the possibility that he specifically asked Rumiko Takahashi to give Inu no Taisho twig eyebrows.
-Towa with the mirrored sunglasses was on some serious retrowave meets Buddy Holly shit. I initially thought they looked goofy in the previews and now I wish they were a permanent part of her outfit.▨-▨¬ლ(•_•) (▨_▨¬)
-Setsuna gets the best scene in an episode twice in a row when she dives into the water to sever the link between Sea Snake Lady and the fisherman and then pops up afterward on his stone body like it’s a surfboard.
-Since this episode’s budget allowed for multiple glamor shots of Riku and because it loves me, that’s what we end on.
Now, as promised, my new feature.
What are Moroha fans going to complain about this week?
Probably stuff like Jyubei still stiffing her on bounties and Towa caring a lot more about Setsuna than her but mostly the fact that she really didn’t have much to do. She didn’t end up contributing to the villains defeat at all and unlike in most episodes, she didn’t even get any shots in and didn’t get to use any of her attacks. I’m predicting a lot of the typical “Why drag Moroha into this mess if she’s not going to be main?” whining.
Anyway, see you again next Saturday, folks.
Until then~

The MANY elements in her text that had unreasonably irked him. Maybe it was the way in which she implied she had some AUTHORITY over him, or that Jaken might telltale on him, he isn't entirely aware which exactly but it prompts a tight press of his jaws. he types.
[ 📲 • sms ]: You seem to be a fan of sending multiple messages where you could have combined into one, Dr. Kikyou. it would certainly have saved me from hearing the noise.
P.S: I'm perfectly fine, I no longer need medication. Thank you for your concern.

You mentioned Coco has autism, depression, and anxiety. How does that effect her interactions with the main cast and the kids? I can already guess Rin does her best to help when she is depressed.
Not much different from how she is, though once she’s completely off her medication, she might have a rough time adjusting at first. Especially when you mix in the “no internet” and lack of modern day luxuries, LIKE WARM WATER.
At worst, Rin might just have to help Coco comb her hair, which isn’t exactly a hard thing to ask for. Plus Rin gets to play!!!
You have Kohaku already taking the initiative with more physically demanding actions like getting them across a bridge or something (which is where Coco’s fear of falling and anxiety mixes into something where she can barely FORCE her self to move). Consoles her afterwards, since hOLY SHIT THAT WAS SCARY.
Sesshoumaru is also good for making sure the kids and Coco bathe regularly, with Jaken there to keep an eye on whenever Coco starts to slip into a slump like... Tells Rin or Kohaku to go to Coco.
It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, but it’s certainly nice to have a lot of support after a sudden meltdown. :V
Coco has a lot of motivators, so she should be fine, with some slip ups here and there. Sometimes, there’s just nothing you can do, so you just gotta wait it out...’or face the consequences of your impulsive actions.
Coco is only lucky that Sesshoumaru is 100% willing to bail her out so she doesn’t die. “Consider yourself fortunate.”

CHAPTER 14
Her scent called him. He watched as Kagome walked through the woods, the light and shadows of the setting sun playing against her hair. He was aware of every movement she made, every object she had touched. As he watched, she ran her hand over a leaf, then reached out to touch the trunk of a tree. He moved closer, always staying just out of her range of awareness. He froze as she looked in his direction, he was crouched low to the ground and when still he blended in with the shadows. He waited a heartbeat, two poised in that frozen crouch. When she turned away, he moved silently deeper into the shadows, using dying light to conceal him as he stalked towards her.
Her scent had been changing, something was wrong. Her vanilla and rose scent had taken on a sweet and at the same time sour note, as if the rose were beginning to decay. He growled, his teeth hanging over the edge of his lip in a snarl. He froze and began to lower the volume of this growl, fading it out as he watched her still. She was starting to be aware of him.
That would not do.
He watched her as she started to move further into the forest, patiently waiting until she had moved further out of range before he jumped up into a tree, following her scent as she moved. He used the breeze to mask his movements as he made his way towards her until he was almost on top of her. He smirked as he watched her looking around to try and find him.
She never thought to look up. That was exactly what he had been counting on. A deep rumble began in his chest as he began creeping closer to her, his red eyes never leaving her. His sensitive nose could note every change in her scent, and he couldn't fucking stand it. It was a scent he should never have to smell on her, not Kagome. But he fucking did.
Rage burned through him at the thought. He would make her listen, he would make her tell him what was wrong, he would…
He watched her tilt her neck to the side and all conscious thought faded. His entire focus was locked on the juncture of her neck and shoulder. He felt his fangs lengthen even further as his claws sharpened. He licked his lips as anticipation ran through him.
He could tell the moment she realized he was near, the change of her pulse, the quickening of her breath. A dark smile crept across his face as her scent changed and the spicy scent of ginger began to blend with vanilla and rose. He crept closer, his eyes focused on her neck, anticipation building. The smell of decay was almost hidden but continued to assault his senses. He knew that it would only take one bite, just one, for that smell to disappear, and he would never have to worry about it again. The sound of her blood rushing through her veins called him, her pulse whispering his name. He just needed her blood, to feel it rush through him, to taste it. His eyes narrowed on his prey, and with a sharp movement he pounced, his mouth finding her neck as her startled cry broke out. With a snarl he…
Inuyasha woke in a rush, covered in sweat. He could feel his yokai flaring, fighting him, but he didn't know why. His fangs were still elongated, he could feel them against his lips, and he was sure if he looked in a mirror, he would see the same purple marks from the day before.
He had no clue what the hell was happening. In the dream he could swear he had been full yokai, but that didn't seem to make any sense to him, he had never turned in his life. But more concerning to him was his focus on Kagome, how his yokai had stalked her, almost as she were prey to hun…
No. He wasn't going to go there. He refused to finish that thought.
That scent bothered him though, he had been noticing it more and more around Kagome, and he had no clue what it meant. She had been pushing herself to much, that he was sure of. He had hated watching her arms give out while trying to move the weight. And when he realized she hadn't been eating…
Fuck that. With a growl he got out his bed and began to pace the room. A quick look in the mirror confirmed for him that yes, the purple streaks were there, faint, but there. He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself down.
He couldn't stop her from running herself ragged, if he tried, he knew she would just get pissed at him and could very well stay away, and that would… he didn't want to think about that. What he could do was make sure she ate, even if it was only one of those meal bars Sango had given him to try one day after a training session.
He felt his canines recede, and with a feeling of relief saw the purple stripes fade entirely. Finally, he felt under control. Time to see what they had in the kitchen, and then bother Miroku to take him to one of those convenience stores to pick up some of those bars so he would always have them on hand to make sure she ate. That was at least something he could do until she asked of his help.
Inuyasha grabbed his phone and shot a text to Miroku to meet him outside in 30 minutes. He didn't stop to think about the time, Miroku had said that he would be available to help at any time, and he was going to hold Miroku to it.
As Inuyasha moved quickly down the hall and into the kitchen he didn't notice two pairs of golden eyes watching from the shadowed entrances to their rooms. Both had felt the flare of Inuyasha's yokai. Sesshomaru watched his brother move, the strength of the yokai flare had been intriguing, but it seemed it was only temporary.
'How disappointing.' He thought as he turned and withdrew into his room.
Toga watched Inuyasha enter the kitchen, his thoughts clearly elsewhere. Toga leaned against the door jam, his eyes and heart troubled. Inuyasha's yokai had never felt that … untamed before. There were still several things Toga himself had to learn about raising a hanyou, and this was something he had never encountered before. He was going to need to investigate this and what it meant, thankfully from his conversations with Koga, he knew there was someone he could speak to at the Ookami compound.
Yes, he would need to speak with this Jinenji tomorrow.
The Ookami compound was more than Kagome had expected. She had never dreamed that there was a place like this in Tokyo. The grounds themselves were massive, the moment you entered the compound you were transported into another, much older world. It took them 15 minutes from the moment they passed the gates to drive through the forest that circled the living area, Minka homes connected with covered walkways. In the center stood what she could only describe as a palace. The main Tenshukaku was four stories tall, linked to four other three story buildings, with ornate gables and windows to allow natural light in, the white walls glowing against the blue toned roofing.
How a village could be hidden in Tokyo though, she had no clue. Shippo met them at the gate, his green eyes glowing with laughter as he saw her expression. The tall Kitsune walked over to her and nudged her shoulder.
"It's a Kitsune Charm, like the glamours." He quickly explained. "Come on, let me show you all around."
Kagome couldn't help being nervous as Shippo pointed out various areas to them. Four months ago, she hadn't even known that yokai existed. Now she was standing in one of the most gorgeous places she had ever seen, and she was surrounded by them. Her mind was still processing everything. She was almost envious of, Jaken and Sango and how they were handling everything. Kikyo and Miroku had essentially grown up in this world, but Jaken and Sango were thrust into it just as quickly as she had been, yet they were all following the kitsune without question, and she wasn't able to detect any nervousness from them. She reached back to take Inuyasha's hand, she needed his support to get through this.
Inuyasha immediately closed his hand around Kagome's. He could tell that she was nervous, and frankly, so was he. He didn't like the fact that she...that they were surrounded by wolves. He didn't know what was causing it, but his hackles were up, something was about to happen, and he didn't like it. The only thing that kept him from grabbing her close and getting out of there was his father. Before they left Toga had told him how important this meeting was to their mission, but at that moment… he was almost tempted to say fuck the mission and bring Kagome back to where it... where she... was safe.
Inuyasha snuck a look at his father to find Toga watching him carefully. Shit. His ears lowered in displeasure, but he knew he wouldn't be able to get Kagome back to the university without a fight. He let out a soft growl, too low for the humans in the group to hear but audible to the yokai with them. He released Kagome's hand to take her shoulder and pull her close to him, leaning down to nuzzle her hair to reassure her. With a soft sigh she snuck her arm around his waist and held onto him as they finished the tour.
Shippo brought them to an outcropping of five buildings that were off set off on their own, away from the living area. She could tell that this was the area he was most excited about, and for some reason that concerned her. Shippo turned to face them, his red hair glowing in the sunlight.
"Welcome to our research and development labs."
Shippo was almost prancing as he brought them to the first door.
"This is the health and recovery unit, let me introduce you to the team. They have been developing methods to enhance yokai healing and are currently working on using medical supplies infused with spiritual power to speed up treatment and recovery time for humans. The head scientist, Jinenji, is a hanyou much like yourself Lord Inuyasha."
Inuyasha scoffed. "I ain't no lord Shippo."
Shippo smiled back at him and nodded before continuing. "Using his mixed blood as a catalyst, Jinenji has been looking to isolate the healing properties of yokai blood to utilize it in sprays or medication. His assistant, Rin, is a recent addition to the team, and she has been spearheading the research with reiki."
Shippo pushed open the doors to the medical ward, and Kagome gasped. It looked like a mad scientist's lab, complete with bubbling beakers and centrifuges separating elements of blood based on weight into different vials. A tall figure stood in the middle of the room reading from a clipboard.
He was quite possibly one of the largest beings Kagome had ever seen. He towered over everyone in the room, but it was his profile that captured her attention. His face was elongated, almost like a horse, his black hair was pulled back and secured with a strap. As he turned to face her, his wide bright blue eyes looked at her curiously. Despite his large appearance, Kagome felt completely at ease around him, he radiated an aura of calm energy that eased the tension in the room almost immediately.
"Oh, is this them Jinenji?" A feminine voice said excitedly, the figure completely hidden.
A young woman popped her head around Jinenji, taking in the group of yokai and humans in front of her. A wide grin broke across her face as she stepped to the side and approached the group.
"Hi, I'm Rin." She stated cheerfully as she reached for Kagome's hand. Her black hair hung down around her shoulders and her dark brown eyes danced with excitement. Kagome eased her hold on Inuyasha to take the accepted hand. Rin was a few inches taller than Kagome, and appeared to be in her mid-twenties, she seemed to be young to be the head of the spiritual energy division, but if Kagome had learned anything in the past four months, it was that looks could be deceiving. If she was trusted to run a research team, there was more to Rin than met the eye.
Rin moved to shake the hand of each member of the team to welcome them to the lab. Her smile faded a bit as she held out her hand to Sesshomaru when he made no move to accept her hand. She recovered quickly and her smile took on an impish look as she reached out and grabbed one of his hand with both of hers to shake it, giggling at the look of outraged disdain that he gave her.
"Rin, don't tease them." Shippo chuckled at her antics as he shook his head, well used to her outgoing personality. Rin hadn't met a person or yokai yet that she didn't try to befriend.
"I need to get them over to the weapons lab." Shippo said as he started ushering the group out of the room.
"I wanted to discuss something with Jinenji if he has a moment." Toga stated as he looked over to Jinenji. At the taller man's nod, Toga moved to his side before the two walked away, deep in conversation.
Shippo led the rest of the group out of the room and through a series of hallways, ending in what Kagome could only describe as an armory. Weapons of all types hung on three walls of the room; the last wall had targets placed at different heights. It seemed to be an eclectic selection, swords, bows, daggers, guns, and staves were mixed, and for some reason it seemed that each weapon had a presence.
Inuyasha looked like a child in a candy shop, his ears were fully perked and twitching as his eyes darted around the room. Sango seemed to be just as excited. She had trained with many of the weapons in the room, but she had never seen such an impressive collection. A pair of sai's caught her attention, as well as an arm guard with a blade attached. Her fingers itched to touch them, sai's had been her favorite weapon in training with her father, their flexibility, the speed. Sango had been training since she was a child, and she excelled at hand to hand combat, she had always wanted to look her opponent in the face as they fought. She was adept at analyzing her enemy's style quickly, helping her anticipate their movements. She reached out to touch the edges of the blades.
"I wouldn't touch those." She heard Kagome's cousin Kikyo say. Sango turned back to look at Kikyo with a raised eyebrow.
"Those weapons are infused with yokai." Kikyo explained. "I can see their aura radiating off the weapons."
"Excellent." A deep voice said. Kagome looked over to see Koga leaning against a door across the room from them. She saw Shippo move past Koga then appear behind a large window that separated the armory from the next room. Koga unfolded himself and moved towards the group.
"These weapons are all infused with yokai, as Ms. Kikyo has said." Kikyo started in surprise and Koga chuckled.
"Did you think we would allow anyone into the compound without knowing anything about them?" He waited for Kikyo's nod of acknowledgement before he continued.
"We've been studying all of you, learning about you, to identify which weapons would match you. The yokai and hanyou have natural weapons, but we need to enhance them a bit."
Koga walked to one of the walls and grabbed a katana and what looked to be a whip before walking to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. He handed the katana to Inuyasha and the whip to Sesshomaru before he stepped back.
"Merge your yokai with them." Koga instructed.
Sesshomaru raised a brow before looking at the whip in his hand. A light green glow formed around his hand and slowly covered the whip.
Koga looked through the window at Shippo and nodded his head. A moment later Shippo's voice echoed through the room.
"You were right Koga; the whip is infused with poison." Koga gave a harsh smile before turning to Inuyasha.
"Your turn mutt-face."
Inuyasha laughed at the unheated insult. The hand holding the katana began to glow gold but moved no further. Koga frowned.
"I was… not expecting that." His voice grew louder as he yelled out to Shippo. "Hey Ship, what are you picking up?"
"Nothing is registering." Shippo said back.
Koga looked at Inuyasha, frustration visible on his face. "It should have worked."
"Keh." Inuyasha said softly. "I guess my yokai isn't strong enough."
"Nah that isn't it." Koga interrupted him. "We accounted for your yokai level when you walked in the door."
That caused a reaction from the humans and yokai alike. Koga looked at them confused until he realized what was happening.
"We have equipment that can measure your abilities, yokai and spiritual power. It gives us your ability levels, potential power, and helps identify a weapon that would match that ability."
Miroku and Jaken started talking over each other in their excitement, each trying to be louder than the other, but it all jumbled together, and neither could be understood.
"Look, I'll explain it another day." Koga promised, rubbing his forehead with his hand. "Just shut up for right now." He looked at Inuyasha.
"Try it again."
The golden glow once again formed around Inuyasha's hand but did not join with the blade. Koga shot a frustrated look back to Shippo who shrugged.
"I can't explain Koga." The kitsune stated. "His power levels are almost equal to his brother's, so I can't explain what's happening. That sword is the most compatible weapon here."
Koga ran his hand through his hair as he thought. Perhaps there was a block, some sort of seal, but the scan would have, should have, shown that.
"Meh. Train with the sword Inuyasha. We will figure out what is going on and try again later. We need to move on."
Koga went around the room, pulling various weapons down as he considered each person. Sango's day was made when she was, in fact, handed the sai's. Her quick look at the arm guard was caught by Koga who just chuckled.
"Not that one. Though we can work on one for you."
Jaken was given a wooden staff with two heads carved into the top, and the room burst out laughing at his cheers.
"YES, I'M A WIZARD!" He crowed.
"Go ahead and test it" Shippo's voice came through the intercom. "Just make sure you aim toward the targets, not us."
Jaken turned and followed Koga's direction to a line on the floor and faced the targets.
"Focus on feeling your energy go through the staff." Koga instructed him before stepping back.
A jet of flame burst out of one of the mouths of the staff.
"HOLY SHIT I'M A FLAME WIZARD THIS ROCKS!" Jaken was almost dancing as he watched the target burn.
"Turn the staff and try again." Shippo's voice directed. Jaken turned the staff and focused his energy again. The staff nearly fell out of his hands when a jet of water burst out and doused the flames.
"The Nintojo, the Human Head Cane." Koga told him as he approached the stunned man. "It was used by another that I knew by the name of Jaken, it came into our collection 400 years ago."
At the words Koga watched Sesshomaru stiffen. He knew that would get a reaction from the cold yokai. Sesshomaru turned to watch Jaken carefully. Jaken had proven to be useful, Sesshomaru had to admit. He almost appreciated the assistance that the human was providing, and his enthusiasm almost reminded him of…the former Jaken. Sesshomaru's eyes narrowed in consideration. It couldn't be, could it? Sesshomaru knew that question would require further consideration.
"Hey Ship." Koga's voice pulled Sesshomaru out of his contemplation. "Did you get your reading?"
"All good." Came the reply. Koga nodded, and moved to Miroku who was handed a collapsible shakujo, a pilgrim's staff. It was broken down for ease of transport, but quickly assembled to its full length.
"I presume you know how to use one?" was Koga's only question. Miroku smiled and nodded.
"Good." Koga continued. "This will be good for close combat, but you need a long-range weapon." Koga turned to look at Kagome and Kikyo. "The same goes for both of you. Close up you will be able to use your spiritual powers, but you all need a distance weapon, its definitely better if we keep the enemy from getting too close."
Shippo emerged from the side room carrying a box which he brought to Koga before setting it on the floor.
"We have been working on these for the last fifteen years." Shippo said as he opened the box, revealing three firearms nestled in the velvet interior. "In the past, priestesses used bows and arrows to channel their spiritual powers, however in today's era they may be too slow, a bullet can get you before you are able to aim the arrow. So, we modified the concept, using a small pellet as the focus. Instead of firing a purifying arrow, you have a spirit gun."
Shippo chuckled when he saw Jaken's head snap up, his eyes shining. "Yes, we got the idea from Yu Yu Hakusho." Shippo admitted with a sheepish expression.
"Best… Anime… ever…" Jaken's whisper echoed through the room. A quick glare from Sesshomaru had him muttering a quick apology before going quiet.
Kagome's vision narrowed to the three handguns that sat before her as she felt her heart begin to race. Snippets from her dream the night before flashed through her mind, aiming, the gun being knocked out of her hand, Inuyasha's expression as he….
She slowly began to move backward, away from the box. She tensed when her movement was stopped by a warm body. A hand came up to rub her shoulder, it was Inuyasha… but for once his presence didn't bring her comfort, the images in her mind were too fresh.
"What's wrong Kagome?" He whispered as he leaned down to place a kiss on the top of her head. She made herself take a deep breath, consciously taking the fear and anxiety and forcing them into a cubby hole in her mind. She couldn't deal with it right then; she couldn't let him know.
Inuyasha felt her tense under his hand; and his nose caught that slight smell of decay that had been driving him crazy for the last few weeks. He subconsciously pulled Kagome closer to him.
"When is the last time you ate Kagome?" he continued, his eyes narrowing. Kagome turned to look up at him with a sheepish expression.
"Last night." She whispered. He grunted at her and shook his head.
"I brought meal bars with me. When we are done, you are eating one." He insisted, his tension easing slightly when she nodded. He hoped that would be enough to help her, to make that scent go away.
He wasn't sure it would though.
Kagome stepped away from Inuyasha and made herself walk back towards the firearms, tamping down her nerves and the last vestiges of the fear. She needed to focus; she couldn't afford to be distracted.
"… of focusing on the arrow, you put your focus into the gun, and it converts your energy into a spirit bullet of sorts and can purify or seal a yokai from a distance."
Kagome shook herself out of her head to catch the last of Shippo's instructions.
"Now, each weapon needs to be attuned to your specific signature so no one else can use the weapon." Kagome let her breath out at Shippo's words, at least that was one fear eased. "So, you won't be taking these with you today. We need to have you fire it at full strength for at least one shot to get a proper power gauge and to register your signature with the binding mechanism we have built into the gun."
Shippo handed a handgun to Miroku and Kikyo before approaching Kagome. When the firearm was placed in her hand, Kagome felt a curious tingling sensation, followed by the sensation of heat flowing up her arm. The weapon scared her. She knew it shouldn't, she had been training now for three and a half months and had become more familiar with using firearms, but the thought of it being hers, of using her spiritual powers… powers she still couldn't control, terrified her.
Kagome watched, slightly dazed as first Miroku and then Kikyo moved to the firing line Koga had pointed out, each aiming down at the targets. As each fired, a soft glow formed around their hands, Miroku's a deep purple, Kikyo's a bright pink, before the color faded into the weapon and released in a burst of light. After each had fired Koga turned to look at Shippo through the window, waiting for a nod and a thumbs up before they could step back to the group. Kagome took another deep breath, closing her eyes and trying desperately to center herself. After a slight hesitation, she made her way to the line.
As she faced the target, the world around her began to shift as she focused inward on herself. She could feel sweat dripping down the back of her neck despite the cool temperature, feel the slight tremor in her arms as she raised the handgun to aim. Her heart started pounding, and she swore she could hear her blood, no her energy, rush through her veins as it moved down towards her hands. They had said to focus as much as she could, and she was starting to feel the same level of energy from the first night when she had helped charge the dagger. Her arms began to glow gold, the light growing as it concentrated around her hands. Unbidden, images from her dream broke through her concentration, the sound of the shot, the jerk of Inuyasha's body, the trickle of blood from his mouth.
Her mouth opened in a silent scream as energy built within her. She stood in the center of a hurricane, her hair dancing in the ebbs and flows as the energy leaked into the air around her. A cry of alarm cut through her senses as the energy absorbed into the handgun and was released with a blinding burst of light.
Kagome's legs collapsed under her and she fell to her knees, the roaring in her ears blocking out all other sounds. She stared at the wall in front of her… all the targets had been destroyed. She turned towards the others and froze in horror. Kikyo and Miroku had jumped in front of the yokai, throwing up two levels of a barrier to shield them from her blast. She watched as Sesshomaru lifted a piece of his hair that had not been protected, the end of the strand burned and smoking. He stared at her with a look of pure hatred, and she felt the vice of fear around her heart.
The doors to the weapons room burst open and Rin and Jinenji ran in, kits in hand, to help any who needed treatment. Snippets of conversation made their way to Kagome.
"…ey were here, that level of power could have purified all of you."
"eed to get her more control, she is too powerful for…"
As soon as the barriers dropped Inuyasha rushed to Kagome, falling to his knees beside her to pull her into his embrace. He could feel the tremors running through her body and knew she could feel his. He… he didn't know what to think… the level of power she released… he had been fucking terrified when she had collapsed. He lowered his head to hers, surrounding her and shielding her from view from the chaos of conversation and panicking behind them.
Koga quickly looked to Shippo to make sure he had been safe in the other room, his eyes going wide when he saw cracks in the bullet proof glass separating the rooms. Shippo looked back, unharmed but clearly shaken.
"Koga." Shippo's voice came through the open door rather than the intercom, too soft for the humans to hear but clear to every yokai and hanyou in the room. "She fried the sensors."
"Who the fuck is she?" Koga's question echoed through the room, causing Inuyasha to growl and draw Kagome deeper into his embrace.
Toga stood outside the room, staring at the chaos and destruction in front of him. There was no question in his mind anymore. He knew that power signature, that strength. He had not felt it for 1000 years, but he had never forgotten the human priestess with the immense spiritual power. Suddenly the prophecy made sense, he now knew what the missing piece was 500 years ago.
Kagome Higurashi, Midoriko's heir.

Before Time | Sesshomaru x Reader | Prequel to Beyond Time
Beyond Time | Sesshomaru x Reader
A/N: This is just short mini stories. Reader meeting Sesshomaru in this time line, how they fell in love. I have a sequel as well in mind about their future as well coming. I don’t have timeline yet though between work and school and just needing me time.
Tumblr media
(Y/n) wandered into the property of the Higurashi’s. It had been a couple of weeks since Kagome had been present in her English class and she couldn’t help but worry about her favorite student. It was strange, it was as if she and Kagome were meant to be friends. Like the universe just called them together. (Y/n) held the small stack of homework and the box of snacks she brought with her to bring to Kagome, however when she began to approach the house something shining in the old well house caught her eye.
It was as if she was meant to follow it. Like the well house was calling to her.
A little peak wouldn’t hurt... would it?
She wandered forward, gripping the items in her hands. (Y/n) pushed the door open and leaned in. A frown contorted on her face. Nothing was in there. Not even a lantern.
“Weird.” Gently, the items were placed down on the ground by the well. She leaned forward, trying to see the bottom of the well. Still nothing out of the ordinary, she leaned even more. She could have sworn she felt a slight breeze coming from the well. “Hello?”
What a dumb thing to say into the well.
She moved to stand up however, something caught her leg. A small furry something, which caused her to jump loosing balance and falling into the well. Her heart instantly dropped into her stomach. She was going to get hurt that’s for sure. The way she fell she’d most likely hit her head and who knows when she would be found!
Her eyes were shut tight and when she opened them again, she was on the ground. Upside down, but alert and not majorly injured save for her back being in an awkward position that was quite sore due to her general size.
“Hello?!” She shouted from the bottom.
Meanwhile Kagome and Inuyasha had just left the well. Kagome only returned long enough to her time to grab some more medications and other supplies but Inuyasha nagged so much she didn’t bother to stay for school. That was the light (Y/n) had saw originally. They were just starting to walk away when Inuyasha stopped.
“What the hell?” He ran back to the well noticing the voice and new smell from the bottom. His golden eyes widened at the sight of a young woman. A slightly plump young woman and one who had a different look about her, something he just wasn’t sure of. “Wha-” Kagome was at his side and saw her at the bottom of the well. “Ms. (Y/L/N)?!” she turned to Inuyasha. “Help her out! Don’t just stand there.” Inuyasha rolled his eyes and hopped down helping her out. After that time. After that day, the young teacher had found themselves returning back and forth with Kagome helping them to defeat Naraku.
--
It wasn’t for a couple of months after that (Y/n) had that the young adult would even meet her darling Sesshomaru. In fact, she had no clue Inuyasha had a brother. It was late at night, the fire was roaring. Inuyasha and (Y/n) were the only ones awake. Casually talking about nothing important. It was strange really, how well Inuyasha and the human woman got along. It even surprised Kagome.
“I think you’re improving” Inuyasha told her, as he watched her practice with her weapon. They would often train to help make sure she is as sharp as ever, just to be extra safe. He began to put away his sword however he paused when the wind shifted. “Damn it. Stay back, (Y/n)..” “What’s wrong?”
He didn’t have time to answer, a deep voice spoke. “Inuyasha.” A silver haired man appeared, (Y/n) breath caught in her chest as she looked him over. He was beautiful. Someone she couldn’t even dream of. “Training a human?” He scoffed, looking her over. Something in his demeanor changed when he actually gave her a good look.
It was almost as if he couldn’t stop looking her over.
Strange.
He moved. He was quick. So very quick. In one moment he was in front of her. His golden eyes examined her face carefully. “Sesshomaru you leave her alone, you bastard.” Sesshomaru h’mfphed softly, glaring at Inuyasha. “I have no interest in fighting you right now, little brother.”
Then he was gone, as if they were the ones who bothered him.
“Idiot.” Inuyasha huffed.
--
It was a while later when (Y/n) finally joined Sesshomaru’s journey. It all happened during a large fight with a large amount of Naraku’s demons. (Y/n) got separated from Kagome and the others, she was inured. It was her leg. A large gash ran down her calf and simply could not move from her place where she had ended up. Sesshomaru was the one who found her. He followed the scent of her blood.
He stared at her a long time. As if he were arguing within himself.
Then he walked to her, kneeling before her. He lifted her leg without speaking examining it. He said nothing the entire time he took care of the wound. It was strange.
“Not that I don’t appreciate it...” (Y/n) broke the silence. “But... why are you helping me...”
He looked at her, his face was emotionless but something about his energy made her feel like he was unsure. Reluctant.
“I don’t have to explain myself to a human like you.” He finished the work he put in before moving forward to lift her easily with his arm.
“W-What are you doing?”
He didn’t respond, however he brought her to Jaken and commanded him to care for her wound until she healed to the little imps dismay. Slowly, she began to come back to feudal Japan, traveling with Kagome only until Sesshomaru returned for her which in turn became Sesshomaru waiting for her by the well.
--
His confession was strange.
Sesshomaru never said a word, however, it was one night after she helped Rin fall asleep. She was reading a book in a language Sesshomaru didn’t understand but learned to enjoy hearing. His golden eyes never left her, it had been months of internal battles on why he wanted her around so much. Then it came crashing down in that moment. The glow of the fire against her skin and the way her lips curled into a small smile as she read.
He was in love with her.
The great dog demon fell for the silly and slightly plump human.
She was his everything. She knew him. She saw past his coldness. It was as if she was inside his head, though it was often filtered by her world’s dialect.
Without hesitation, Sesshomaru stood up kneeling before her and lifting her chin to face him.
“You’re my woman.” He said simply before kissing her. His lips were sweet yet numbing. It was wonderful and she didn’t want it to stop. Of course she wanted to be his and she wanted him to be hers but she had no idea. No clue that he wanted her back. He was so god-like in so many parts of his life.
“I-” She was going to speak when he pulled away but he kissed her again before she could. This time she reached up, pulling him to her deepening the kiss. Her mouth opened and his tongue explored her dominantly, but of course he allowed her own tongue to explore him as well,
“You are mine” He said simply.

She is eventually put on a team with Kohaku ( @puppet-slayer) and Hakudoshi  ( @shirokodomo) with Jaken as their Team Leader. Because of her brothers feelings towards  what happened with their parents he and Rin sometimes butt heads on her decision to follow in their footsteps
