Anxiety

I am someone who just happens to have serious problems with anxiety. I take medication for it, and meditate to try and keep the worries away. But every once in a while a wave hits me. Then everything closes in, I feel helpless, numb, and like I am all alone in the world. I know how the grief and fear can come crashing in, how the flood of emotions can cripple you leaving you terrified of everything and everyone. I have days when I don't feel like even going out of the house, because of it. And I just wanted you all to know this because you are not alone. Also I want you all to know that being on medication because you have anxiety, or depression, or any other emotional disorder, is not something to be ashamed of. You fight a battle everyday, full of emotional turmoil, and no one has the right to judge you because you are trying to get yourself better. Just remember that their are others out there fighting just like you, and we all understand how you feel. Please keep fighting and don't give up on yourself. I <3 you all.

Got a friend to cosplay Jacob

I told them to take pics in a wheat field and they sent me these. Need more friends to cosplay the others. Ideally, friends that understand instructions.

Jake likes to cover as much skin as possible, so all of his outfits are made of linens and cottons as to be breathable. He likes XL sweaters and trades with Mark a lot. Jake’s hair is the worst and my biggest deterrent to drawing him.

I regret making his pjs patterned, so you won’t catch me doing that again. It was a pain to draw and came out busy anyway. The original draft was not only easier, but better looking in my opinion.

These here are a gift from a former friend, Andrew. He usually goes for realistic, so he tried two different styles to try to capture Jake.

Neither of them are my favorite pieces of art. But I was truly lucky to have such a talented friend put themselves out for my sake.

This is the entire Dog list for the office, up to season 2. I’m pretty proud of this art.

Decided to redo a lot of things, so a lot of previous posts are currently private. They will be back up as I update them, so please be patient.

Finally found some references I liked for Jacob! I had a hard time finding an expression I liked on a face shape I liked. I had to wade through a sea of sharp jawed, “hot” f-boys.

And here is his hair, which is extremely important to me for reasons I don’t know.
