I also commissioned @evulbad for 10 drawings! I didn’t receive a large scale inclusion piece, so my “everyone” piece will come at the end of the 10 post series.

My only ask would have been that I wish I had gotten work in progress art before receiving the finished product. I unfortunately would have vetoed some of the designs, but I don’t want to be too picky when I’m privileged enough to be spending money on art.

If you have the privilege to be spending money on art, might I suggest hiring as artist like @evulbad to create you some beautiful work in their creative style for fairly cheap?

writing advice for characters with a missing eye: dear God does losing an eyes function fuck up your neck. Ever since mine crapped out I've been slowly and unconsciously shifting towards holding my head at an angle to put the good eye closer to the center. and human necks. are not meant to accommodate that sorta thing.

Really wondering if I wanna finish inktober out. I know it’s gonna take forever and I had been using it to procrastinate actually finishing my draft, but I technically have some days already complete just not posted.

I want to write a book called “your character dies in the woods” that details all the pitfalls and dangers of being out on the road & in the wild for people without outdoors/wilderness experience bc I cannot keep reading narratives brush over life threatening conditions like nothing is happening.

I just read a book by one of my favorite authors whose plots are essentially airtight, but the MC was walking on a country road on a cold winter night and she was knocked down and fell into a drainage ditch covered in ice, broke through and got covered in icy mud and water.

Then she had a “miserable” 3 more miles to walk to the inn.

Babes she would not MAKE it to that inn.
