these days you have to publish a dissertation and make a 100 page powerpoint with textual and subtextual evidence to back up the fact that you like seeing two characters together because apparently people can only ship what’s canon now

back in my day we used to be able to ship characters who never interacted,

we used to ship characters that didn’t even exist within the same media

while everyone was afraid of Jack in his wolf form (rightfully so), elsa was never outwardly afraid of him. She knew who jack was deep down and they both let themselves be vulnerable whilst amidst a fight. Before he shifted you could see every ounce of his body desperately trying to make sure he remembers elsa.

Yeah I know of the JackElsa edits. Lotta people shipped her with Rapunzel too if memory serves.

Every fandom has its weirdos, certainly: I’ve never seen My Hero Academia but I know a lot of pedos ship that one little girl with the horn on her head with the older students and teachers to get their sick jollies off. Still, you’d be hard pressed to find someone who isn’t into that say that those ships are “inescapable” in the fandom. Creepos like that are usually smart enough to keep to their own circles, so if you just block whatever tags they use you won’t see their shit.
