All I can think of is this vocaloid crack video called 'jump in the cacc' and this one line from it.

My original ending for GIaDN was going to be slightly more fucked up in that when Echo decided not to show himself to Dr. Julien and Zane in the past, he would have to relive the next few years in the lighthouse all over again instead of being sent back to the present immediately. From which he would go through the events of Skybound with his memories of a different timeline, and meet Ronin all over again, only for time to be reset yet again from Jay's wish. Except this time he would remember it all, and then he would make the connection that all of that happened before and harbor resentment towards Jay and Nya.

I decided a lot of this would end up being too long and complicated so I took a Life is Strange route and only allow him to be in that specific moment for only a little while and then be sent back to the present with any changes he made affecting the timeline along the way. Since he made no changes nothing changed (as far as he's aware. Maybe something did? Who knows? hehehe)

After deciding to change the ending, I was going to make the og ending the alternate ending I spoke of a few times before giving up on it lol. A few scenes I had already written up included the one I put in CaCC, one involving the moment he was shutting down and anxious about the possibility that he might have changed something and Ronin might not come find him, and one where he wakes up again to Ronin in the lighthouse and then starting their introduction over again, with the possibility of that either being the final scene or jumping further ahead to the fight with the mechanic and ultra violent again. Considering all the scenes I had outlined in between all of that this ending would have ended up being about 15-20k words long 💀

So yea there's what it was going to be so u can see why I changed it lol
