I love it when Pokémon Pocket Monsters references other media from the franchise! (Mostly the anime.)

As exciting as this story was, it was a huge letdown that Lugia never actually got to show up due to Clefairy's stupidity. We'll have to wait until the GS series to see it in Anakubo's art style.

At least Clefiary got his proper comeuppance at the end.

Crunchyroll Movie Night at Home Series Launches May 1 in the UK and Ireland

  Anime fans in the UK and Ireland are in for a treat this year. May 1 marks the official kickoff of Crunchyroll Movie Night at Home in the regions, bringing with it a new anime film premiere on the 1st of every month for the next 12 months. Select films will also be available to Crunchyroll members in the US, and it all starts with Penguin Highway. 

  Penguin Highway will be available for the entire month of May. Here's the official synopsis:

  In “Penguin Highway”, Aoyama-kun is an intelligent and studious 4th grade student who is constantly jotting down everything that he learns in his notebooks. He is also on good terms with “Onee-san”, a young lady who works at the dental clinic that Aoyama-kun goes to. Aoyama-kun is shocked one day when he encounters a penguin in the middle of his suburban town, which is nowhere near the sea. The mystery only deepens when Aoyama-kun observes “Onee-san” tossing away a can of cola, only for the can to turn into a penguin!

  Every film will be on Crunchyroll for a month until the next film rolls around at the start of the following month. Check out the full lineup below.

THERE! I KNEW there was something off about these Pokémon Advanced episodes.

There's usually supposed to be a Trainer's Choice segment starting from Advanced Challenge. But for some reason, not that many episodes on Pokémon TV have it.

This was one of the rare instances where the Trainer's Choice segment would properly show. (Most other times, the screen slowly fades to white before transitioning to the next scene that's supposed to play out after the segment.)

Makes me wonder if this was some technical issue on part of the people uploading these episodes to the service or if there are some legal problems involved.

It’s nice to finally have a chance at reading Yellow’s introduction chapter!

The plot of trying to frame Red and Pikachu seemed like an interesting idea. Personally, I thought it would’ve been cool if Yellow’s Pikachu also knew Fly. That way, Red’s Pikachu would’ve have a harder time beating him.

【仙台】免費導覽認識麒麟啤酒的製作過程．キリンビール仙台工場

東北的景致優美，景點除了往郊區跑外，行程中也穿插一些比較特殊的景點以豐富旅程，像是「キリンビール仙台工場」(KIRIN 麒麟啤酒 觀光工廠)就是其中一個，雖��不喝酒，還是很喜歡參觀日本的啤酒廠，當初到北海道也有特地安排，趁機了解啤酒的製作過程，還有免費的飲料喝，相當的棒的地方。

キリンビール仙台工場雖離市區小遠，但交通不算難抵達，從仙台駅搭乘JR到多賀城駅，在多賀城駅外搭乘接駁車直接抵達「キリンビール仙台工場」。

距離接駁車抵達的時間尚有一小段時間，就到JR多賀城駅旁逛逛，一大早就一堆日本學生排隊等圖書館開門，真是認真！

共構建築還包含星巴克以及蔦屋書店，第一次進入蔦屋書店，只能用嘆為觀止形容。

在星巴克補貨抹茶粉，順便買杯咖啡跟抹茶貝果。

在多賀城駅南口設有來返キリンビール仙台工場的接駁車，出南口後往左邊走就可看到接駁車的站牌，從多賀城駅到啤酒工廠為整點的35分發車，從啤酒工廠到多賀城駅為整點的15分發車，車程約20分鐘內。

不用擔心搭錯車，車頭直接就寫了キリンビール仙台工場，整台車身上也都是KIRIN的字樣，怎樣都不用怕搭錯車。

車上除了我們幾乎都是日本人，日本自己國內的民眾也喜歡來參觀啤酒工廠，泰瑞說很多人是特地來喝不用錢的啤酒，哈。キリンビール仙台工場的所在地非常的偏僻，附近幾乎都是工廠，若無搭乘接駁車前來也只能搭乘計程車才能到達了。

入口處有一啤酒造型的紀念處可合影留念。

到達キリンビール仙台工場後，先至櫃檯報到，參觀工廠需事先預約，可在出發前先上網預約，報到後每人會發放簡介和吊牌。(預約了就請一定要到，請勿當個失格的旅人喔)

櫃台旁還貼心放置從キリンビール仙台工場到多賀城駅的接駁車時刻。

提供衣服、小物等讓來賓拍照留念。

導覽過程約70分鐘，只有日文導覽，若有興趣可跟導覽員索取英文介紹簡章，第一站先至視聽室觀看影片，只有日文。

接著就是穿梭於キリンビール仙台工場內，了解參觀啤酒的製作過程，從第一步到最後的包裝，有些參觀區域要上下樓，也設有電梯供行動不便或是推嬰兒車的來賓使用。

麥芽+啤酒花+水=KIRIN啤酒，在這裡你可以親眼看到種植的啤酒花，最高可以長到4m以上！

製作啤酒首先就是原料了，在這裡你可以近距離看到這些原料：麥芽、啤酒花等，還可以拿起來聞、拿起來吃喔。

一番榨的製程大概就是：製麥–>糖化–>製造麥汁–>煮沸–>發酵–>儲藏。

釀造的第一個步驟是糖化，在這個階段，將麥芽與水混合形成麥汁，分解成糖分。

置於戶外的「發酵槽」，體積超大，半徑有30m，直徑就是60m了，非常的巨型。

用來存放啤酒的「儲存槽」，長達19m，製作完成的啤酒會在此低溫儲存約1~2個月，一旁開放儲存槽的小面積讓來賓觸摸，感受儲存槽的溫度，冰冰涼涼的。

一般啤酒經過三次過濾，KIRIN啤酒則是使用一次過濾，氣味跟顏色差很多！

���覽途中就讓大家試試一次過濾跟三次過濾的麥汁喝起來的差別，先喝三次過濾的麥汁味道很淡，再喝一次過濾的麥汁，氣味渾厚飽滿，甜度超高，有比較才能明顯清楚其差異，一次過濾的也太好喝了吧。

最後就是全自動化的包裝，包含裝瓶、封口、雷射瓶身商標等過程，看著一直轉，不停歇地自動化過程，居然有點療癒。

日本每個區域的限定啤酒瓶身，排開頗為壯觀，印刷都一樣只有地域不一樣。

參觀完畢，準備走回試飲大廳，途中居然還有個小神社。

導覽結束來到試飲大廳，每個人可免費品嚐三杯啤酒。

每個人都有一包配酒的小零食，也就是日本很常見的柿種。

不喝酒的也有無酒精的飲料可選，像是午後的紅茶(也是KIRIN���家的品牌)、氣泡飲、果汁等，種類很多！不會說日本也不用怕，跟櫃台人員比要幾號飲料即可。

品嚐過程中導覽員還會現場示範如何倒出一杯好喝的啤酒，超專業的。

雖然不愛喝酒，但是新鮮現釀的啤酒真的好喝很多，喜歡喝酒的怎能不來啤酒工廠喝一杯呢。

不喝酒的我喝了午後的紅茶跟果汁，水蜜桃的好香好甜。

喜歡KIRIN啤酒的朋友可以順便買回家，還有許多以酒為原料的伴手禮也不少，巧克力、餅乾、啤酒造型紀念品等，只有這邊買的到。

參觀完搭乘接駁車回到多賀城駅，順便在多賀城駅的善治郎用午餐，キリンビール仙台工場內也設有餐廳，想在裏頭用餐也是ok的。

雖然不喝啤酒但還是蠻推薦安排到「キリンビール仙台工場」走走逛逛，免費的導覽，更加認識啤酒的製作過程，結束後還有無料的啤酒、飲料等可品嚐。

  Japanese toy company Takara Tomy will be selling a Pikachu robot that has speech comprehension capabilities and can turn on your television or lights, called Nee, UchiPika—with a retail price of 3,990 yen plus tax—in Japan starting August 3, 2019.

      The product will be sold nationwide in Japan in specialty toy shops, electronics stores, department stores and volume retailers of toys, online stores, and Takara Tomy’s official shopping website Takara Tomy Mall.

  Not only can it turn on the television for you, it can also sing songs, light up its cheeks, and Pikachu can also give adorable reactions that are sure to delight regardless of age or gender.

    Thanks to Speech Comprehension, Pikachu Can Turn on the TV or Lights for You!

Nee, UchiPika is a Pikachu robot with speech comprehension that can turn on the television or lights for you. Using the same type of technology as an IR remote control, you can register it as your household remote and use it easily, without specialty equipment or internet connectivity.

    When you call out the name Pikachu it will enter command mode, after which you can say things like, “I want to watch TV,” or “I want it lighter in here,” but it will also respond to various other requests.

    Its functions include the ability to turn the TV on and off, volume control, channel changing, the ability to turn the lights in the room on and off, among others. You can register your preferred remote-control signals.

You can tell Pikachu things like, “I’m leaving” and “I’m home,” as well as “Sing for me” and it will do a song for you or even display its Thunderbolt ability!

    Besides being able to operate various household items, you can also call out to Pikachu with daily greetings such as "good morning” or “good night” whenever you want and it will respond to you. The creators paid careful attention to make sure that you’ll be able to understand the gist of what Pikachu is saying when it reacts to you. That’s one aspect for us all to look forward to!

Last year the popular Nee, HelloPika product, a Pikachu robot that responds when you call out to it, sold one hundred thousand units.
