However, Jaehyun asked how he can see the comments, so it's quite possible that he didn't see the comments, just the questions that were sent to his Q&A box (Tae said he sent Qs, but we don't know what he asked in them, Jae's reactions could be to the Qs, not Tae's comments). When he discovered that Tae was present, he checked with another device. Usually, they have a laptop/tablet running with the live as well to monitor.

The episode that took the Couple Race theme welcome the arrival of many beautiful and cute guest stars. One of them is Jeon Somin who will then become the latest member of Running Man. The concept is really touching and easy to “digest” and such romance is needed for the vivid viewer of Running Man, since the Monday Couple have separated, the romance was so lacking throughout the episodes, this particular episode at least give us a break and add more dynamic toward the concept of member’s week.

In the episode of this new year’s edition, the Running Man members are getting their prediction about their lives in 2017. Not only that, their health is also checked through the condition of their eyes. This is the usual concept that has been repeated like two or three times before, the funny part of these New Year episodes is when the members get the answer about their luck for that year which of course varied. This is also the first time Song Jihyo and Kim Jongkook is coupled in a romantic way.

What I like the most from this episode is the adaptability of the members of Super Junior which make even a simple game hugely interesting. Super Junior and Red Velvet became Guest in episode 376. Not only they did come in complete personnel. It turns out that one of the members of Suju, Eunhyuk is a friend from the same elementary school as Jeon Somin. There are also a lot of funny stories between them. The closeness of Somin and Eunhyuk make Donghae jealous and this kind spark is what keeps this episode interesting.

Running Man once again took the theme of Couple Race but this time with much more guest. There’s even an extra 2 male guest, Jo Se-ho and Sung Hoon. Meaning there are 8 pairs in total. So do not be surprised if this episode took 2 episodes. Even for its opening alone spend half the episode. The guest stars are asked to show his or her talents. Sunmi is definitely featuring with the famous dance of Ganshina. Well, Jo Seho as always gets tricked by Yoo Jaesuk. Not only that Jo Seho who is paired with Song Jihyo always get scolded and even beaten.

This is one of the episode of Global Race where Jeon Somin and Kwangsoo have to undergo their punishment in Indonesia or precisely in Gunung Kidul Jogjakarta. They have to cross toward the fishing island using a cable car made by the coastal residents of Pantai Timang which is made with Wood and several strings connected to each other. This whole episode features Somin and Kwangsoo. The members have to guess what they are doing and the result of the action. Kwangmin couple’s moments will also make us laughed and melted here.

They had to borrow or ask for many items from their fellow celebrities, from Cha Taehyun, Kim Dong Wook, to Park Bo Gum. This episode is really exciting for me because each member get their airtime almost equally and all of the moments created are super funny.

Continuing the theme of Global Race, this time Running Man visit Japan to get serve the sentence in the Ghost House. Unfortunately, Kwangsoo must serve the punishment by himself. While Somin went through it with Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Suk Jin served his “adventure” with Yang Se Chan. Lots of funny and thrilling scenes we go from this episode like VJ of Ji Sukjin who fled in fear and left his camera behind.

Well, Haha’s special episode is the best among the others. Haha has been known as a hesitant type of personality and wishy-washy with the choices available. In this episode, Haha will always be told to choose between two members who are prepared to undergo a punishment. Like Lee Kwangsoo or Ji Sukjin who will be thrown into the air with a giant ball. Or Kim Jongkook (eating high calories food) and Song Jihyo (touch insects). And the twist was Haha didn’t plan this episode but other members did this as the gift for Haha’s second child which had made Haha want to run away due to the shameful feeling.

Episode 372 can be categorized as to be one episode with the best Twist of 2017 or perhaps one of the best Twist in Running Man history. Early on, the member saw a video of Lee Kwangsoo who was talking with two mysterious people. Kwangsoo is upset about who he has takes to undergo the punishment in Australia. Well, you will be really shocked by what happened at the end. Usually, we’ll see Jeon Somin making a loveline with Kwangsoo or any male single guest but in this episode Jeon Somin create a romantic moment with Kim Jongkook. Like when somin act as a girlfriend of Kim Jongkook.

Last part of Global Race Project last of 2017 where Running Man members are divided into 2 groups. Lee Kwangsoo’s team which consist Jeon Somin, Ji Sukjin and Yoo Jaesuk flew to Australia and Kim Jongkook’s team consist of Haha, Song Jihyo, and Yang Sechan visited New Zealand. This is the second part because it has previously aired in Episode 378. If in the previous episode 378 (Team Australia) is stealing the attention, during this episode Team New Zealand became the star. Obviously, because this team offers cuteness and tension. Where Haha and Sechan had vomited before getting on the swing and the best moments when Song Jihyo and Kim Jongkook take on the Nevis Swing with the upside position.

Running Man’s blockbuster scenes frequently have a lot of rushes, chills and enough twist on the story to keep watchers oblivious until the last minute. This present scene’s quality likewise originates from the last mission, an unofficial ID tearing mission in which the individuals need to battle against each other to be the beneficiary. There’s an immense twist towards the end which you presumably won’t see it coming either.

But Tae Hang-ho (Friends of Kwangsoo) also take much of the airtime while trying the high voice game.

On episode 346, the new member Jeon So-min and Yang Se-chan start joining permanently as a cast member. Here we will be getting stomachache because of their hilarious behavior, especially from the new member! This time there are three teams that compete to win. They must successfully undergo a mission if not, the will be given a horrible penalty. It might not be the funniest, but this episode becomes the turning point of the new era of Running Man. Thus, we see this episode as the fundamental episode of Running Man in 2017.

ive read too many jaepil aus to not be invested in their dynamic but now that im asked this question im suddenly struggling to put my thoughts into words 😭

its the way jae jokes around and rejects wonpils affection towards him but is highkey whipped for him. saying wonpils aegyo is too much for him but everytime he does it he cant stop smiling anyway,,, laughing at wonpil vocal cracks but replays it to show that he still hit the correct note. rejecting wonpil trying to feed him but lowkey is struggling to not smile while doing so. would be #1 to tease wonpil but the moment someone tries to associate wonpil with something negative i feel like jae would be Really Quick to defend him.

its wonpil consistently trying to get jae to accept his love solely bec he likes his reactions. its wonpil trying to feed jae once, got rejected, tries again with an even bigger smile on his face. its wonpil saying hed always want to take care of jae.

jae would fight the world for wonpil but wonpil would protect jae from the world.

at the end of the day i think their relationship with each other is very secured, and theyre e/o biggest fan when it comes to music, which would create a special bond between them. regardless of all the teasing and joking around, if it comes down to it theyre there for each other and they know the other person is there for them, eventhough they wont admit it, deep inside they just know.

“Welcome- Oh, y/n!” Chan visibly brightens up at the sight of you walking through the doors of the convenience store. “You might be my favourite customer of the day.”

You make your way to the counter, reaching over the counter to kiss Chan’s cheek.

“You’re telling me this entire day there’ve only been bad customers?”

He lets out a breathy laugh. “Yes, but either way you’re my favourite. My statement, therefore, still stands true.”

You can only roll your eyes. You reach for the pad of paper he keeps by the cashier, and pull it towards you. The pen, which is attached by a string, trails behind. You start doodling and Chan’s eyes follow the ball of the pen.

“What are you doing here right now anyways? Shouldn’t you be heading home?”

You shake your head, lifting the pen off the page to point at him. “I’m gonna keep you company. By the looks of it, I’m the highlight of your day so far…”

The bell chimes, and both you and Chan look up. An elderly woman walks in, and Chan is out from behind the counter before you even finish greeting her. Your heart warms, watching him help her. Chan was unbelievably kind - it was one of the many things you loved about him. It takes him no time to find and scan all the items and he walks the lady to the door, letting her go with a polite bow.

“Such a gentleman, Channie,” You smile as he ambles back behind the counter. “Only thirty minutes left until the end of your shift! Let’s go back to yours and watch a movie, yeah?”

He takes your hand in his, fingers drumming lightly on your skin. His cheeks were dusted pink, as they always were when he held your hand or kissed you or made you laugh.

“Having you here makes me feel so much less tired, I feel like nothing can go-" he lets out a whine, which makes your brows furrow in both confusion and shock. "Nevermind, I take it back.” He drops his head onto the counter. “And here I was, thinking they weren’t gonna come tonight.”

“They?” You turn around to look out the window and see a group of kids walking towards the convenience store. They were obviously younger than you, resting their bikes and skateboards against the wall before making their way to the doors.

Chan lets out a deep sigh that would have made you laugh had he not seemed so stressed. “They’re not too bad, I guess. They’re just… a mess.”

As if on cue, they enter the store chatting loudly and laughing like they were at a comedy show.

“Hey hey, hyung, is this your girlfriend? She’s really pretty!”

“Buzz off, Jae-”

“Hyung, can I buy these? I’m short two dollars-”

“Then no-”

You can’t help bursting out in laughter as they all throw question after question at Chan, who looked like he was aging at a rapid speed.

“Look, I can let you off if you were a few cents off, but a few dollars-”

“You’re no fun, hyung!”

The kid scowls at Chan, crossing his arms, and Chan imitates the kid. He goes the extra mile and sticks out his tongue.

“Here.” You reach into your bag and dig around, pulling out two dollars. You hand it to the kid, who eyes you suspiciously. “I’ll give you two dollars, and you leave this kid behind the counter alone, okay?”

“Y/n, i’m not a-”

“Okay!”

The boy takes the money and places it on top of the drink he was going to buy. He eyes Chan with a successful grin, and you watch amused as Chan scans the drink and puts the money in the register. The two don’t break eye contact until the boy’s friends pull him out.

You let out a laugh when Chan starts mumbling under his breath, pouting. “I’m not a kid, y/n. He just makes me want to beat him at his own game… acting like a kid.”

“So you're not a literal kid, you're just yhe embodiment of one?" You grin at him before continuing your drawing.

With a defeated sigh, Chan slumps onto the counter. “Why does the world revolve around money? It’d be easier to get paid for doing aegyo than to deal with customers like that kid… Imagine getting paid for being cute.”

“You would be rich,” you say quietly, keeping your eyes on the paper in front of you.

You look up when Chan lets out a choked sound. “Y/n- I-”

His hands were in front of his face, but his ears were almost as red as the original flavoured Pringles canister on display in front of him.

Giggling, you make your way around the counter and wrap your arms around his waist, resting your cheek against his back.

“You’re so cute when you get all flustered, Channie,” you murmur, more to yourself than to him. “I love you.”

"I love you too," he mumbles, and pulls one of your hands up to his lips, kissing your knuckles. "But just so you know, you'd be richer."

"Oh, shut up, Chan."

ooc note:

so, as i said the other day, this is just a small post showing sort of an update on alex with how he is now compared to when he first joined the company. whether it's changes to his personality or even connections and even his deepest inner thoughts (maybe lol). me being the lazy person that i am, these will all be just listed in bullet form because in my mind that's "easier" than making this into some long paragraph post.

the updates:

when first joining the company, alex could care less about debuting and even didn't care much for his training. now, he's come to realize that he actually does want to debut and doesn't find the idea of being an idol that unbearable. he finally started realizing this during his star quality portion for Future Dreams ( see this solo here for that moment ) of course we have to thank Kim Hyuncheol, Park Jeongan, Lee Iseul, and Roe Kangdae for helping him realize this 100% as well ( see this here where he gets called out for his bs which was 100% deserved ). he was also super confident in his own body at the time ( still is actually but he doesn't brag as much now. don't get me wrong, he would upload gym photos of himself if he could lol ).

many may not have known this ( in character or ooc ) but he was once a university student (doesn't seem like a dummy like him would even be a student right? lol), however, when he began filming for Future Dreams he decided to drop out and put a pause on his studies ( see this solo here ). the decision to do this wasn't really something he had thought that he would ever do, especially since he never imagined the day would come where he actually wanted to take being a trainee seriously, but it wasn't a hard decision to make. he figures that if he fails at debuting through the show then he can just return to his studies.

in the beginning, he would take on things such as Date Lottery or even auditioned for one of lgc's opportunities to do one of their OST's for Cram School S1 ( too lazy to find this ), and he only would do such things because "it will gain me publicity and help me debut sooner so i can win this bet". though, after filming for his first CF with Royal Canin ( he's always had a soft spot for animals tbh ) he realized that he actually didn't mind being on shows for the enjoyment of it rather than just doing it 'because'. there was one point where he was a guest on The Kim Family and claimed he only was doing it for the publicity, though he actually did it because he wanted to see what acting was like. now he's someone who will sign up for shows such as Masterchef Legacy because he actually wants to and not just to gain a few fans from it all.

he used to hate things like vlive shows, he just didn't like the idea of being live and having to fake some smile or laugh. now, he doesn't mind them at all and has even appeared on a couple vlive shows such as Hot Spot, did the vlive for his Favorite Fall Recipe, he did the Q&A with fans, and recently was on Jaesun's EAT WITH JAE. ( notice how these are all mainly about food... ) i don't ever see him having his own vlive show, maybe in the future it's a possibility, but he sure doesn't mind at least guest starring on some shows every now and then.

something that hasn't changed is his love for his car and that probably will never change no matter how much time passes. Stella ( yes, he named his car ) is still his pride and joy but so is his Pomsky Luna ( she's now known ooc atm as the little matchmaker who caused Alex and Ichika to end up in a pond at the park. Ichika is the only female that Luna even likes which surprised Alex because puppy doesn't like other females and will usually growl at them unless they're family or close friends of Alex. )

his hate for things like aegyo is still the same. that probably won't ever change really. during one of the missions for Future Dreams he was sort of forced to do aegyo while meeting with fans and he's still cringing over that.

nothing has changed about his workout habits really. he still goes to the gym and has the usual workout routine he does, along with still eating healthy (because gotta keep them abs in check just in case the company ever makes him show abs again like in his teaser for Future Dreams).

the relationships/connections:

first, let's start off with the reason why he used to be cautious about relationships or even feeling something towards others in a romantic way. for those that truly know him, you know that he had an ex back in the states that he loved at the time and put his all into that relationship with her, that is until she told him that she wanted to not only see him but others on the side as well. you also know that he ended up telling her more or less to f off. ( /claps for him/ ) because of this his heart basically froze over and the word 'love' didn't even exist in his dictionary. afterwards, any kind of 'relationship' he had wasn't exactly something he really even put his all into anymore and just sort of dated here and there out of boredom ( he has a few exes because of this ).

now on to the reason why he had trust issues even more with letting people in past the walls he had built up. he felt betrayed due to seeing that ex of his with someone he thought was his best friend. basically, boy broke the 'bro code' and alex started having a harder time trusting even those who wanted to be his friend and he became closed off/distant with others that he didn't trust fully.

fast forward to more recent times, he's grown quite a bit and has started to slowly let others in a bit more. he's made some new friends within legacy that he actually does seem to care for, even if he won't admit it out loud but he does. he's also started catching feelings for a specific person ( /cough/ ichika ) but if you've been sort of keeping up with that, or even haven't, well they're both in denial but improving little by little. lol

his family has always been the number one priority in his life, and always will be no matter what. even now he still does get embarrassed by his sister Mia quite a bit, though he still loves her and it's just always been the sort of sibling relationship where she embarrasses him and he acts like he's bothered by it ( he's a faker tbh ).

his cousins, Jueun and Hyunbin, are still two of the family members who he will always be protective of, even if he does tend to mess with them just for the hell of it at times.

before, when meeting new people, alex would be cold and very distant (he still sort of is but not as much anymore). now he's less cautious with those he's meeting for the first time but he still does keep that bit of distance until someone has gained his trust fully. those that he's been friends/aquaintances with for a few years he's super close with and will still tease/mess with them occasionally for shits and giggles or whatever.

You know, Taeyong is pretty sharp even when he fools around. It’s interesting, but he doesn’t really get lost doing his pranks. He is very quick at switching from play to work as well.

15:00 - This is “the next level” of teasing from Tae, I can’t even tell what Do was pisssed about, lol.

It’s hard to tell from the blurry video, Tae and Hyuk might have picked at JaeDo’s legs because they vaxed them (for NR for example). Jae was letting Tae stroke him because he saw Tae was doing it absent mindedly (Tae was focuded on the talk about Mark’s BD). When Tae suggested to do some party in discord, Jae asked “What’s this?” and only a bit later fixed his shorts. Meaning, he wasn’t irritated by Tae’s action so much as to be fully focused on it. He paid mind to the chat.

It’s another case of cut outs on twitter being misleading. Tae didn’t bother JaeDo that much (only Do at the end because he was getting bored and needed to spend his bouncy energy).

bias type b: deep-voiced, bad boy (?) rappers who KNOW they’re hot (examples include: mx changkyun, oneus leedo)

i’m pretty sure there are probably more distinctions but those are the basics of my two completely opposite bias types LMAO to this day, i’m not sure how i went from kevin to changkyun LOL

oh man there’s no way i can count the number of groups. basically i can name all 2nd gen kpop groups, a bunch of nugu groups during 2.5 gen/3rd gen, any groups that went on the unit, and a fair amount of groups in 3rd-4th gen. i think around like 2017 ish? i stopped paying as much attention to new groups bc i got busy with college so i’m pretty unfamiliar with people nowadays. but honestly if you’re curious just throw a random group at me and i can try my hand at it LOL (also i know more boy groups than girl groups sorry ;;)

1. in the first official ukiss activity since hoon returned from the army, hoon hugged soohyun and then soohyun tried to kiss him in return on live broadcast, and jun just sat off to the side, covering his face bc he was too goddamn embarrassed LMAO (and then soohyun sulked on twitter later asking if hoon didn’t want to be kissed by him and hoon had to do damage control and say he did, he just got surprised LOL).... honestly ukiss is so wild i expected nothing less from them once they reunited haha (x)

2. seungkwan getting to live out his successful kissme dreams and dance bingeul bingeul (the song he auditioned with) with ukiss themselves. truly one of my favorite fanboy moments (x) (on a related note: i especially love this kissmecarat moment i technically started)

Jae left the meeting before Sungjin finished closing it, and Hun ushered you out the door without letting you poke around. You were out the door and in another room within minutes.

This room looked a lot like Dowoon’s, but smaller, and unfortunately it caused you to think about Dowoon’s situation in the infirmary.

But you didn't want to let that get to you now. You had to collect these stories, and learn more about these things, though you weren't entirely sure why. All you knew was Sungjin told you to do it, and you trusted him.

“Y/N, this is Hweseung,” Hun started, catching your attention. He was gesturing toward a cute-faced man wearing a large sweatshirt and his hands shoved deep in his pockets.

You bowed slightly to him, to which he did the same.

“Hello,” he greeted warmly. “I hear you've been listening to a lot of life stories lately, is that right?”

“Uh, yes, that's right,” you replied with slight nervousness. You didn't know why, but Hweseung made you feel anxious.

He nodded, pursing his lips awkwardly. Something buzzed in his pocket and he fumbled to get his phone out of it. He looked at the screen with a mildly startled face and then he sighed.

“Sorry, kid, but I have to help with a delivery. I can't talk now.”

Hun cleared his throat and patted Hweseung’s shoulder. “We’d love to help you, and we can talk after.” You noticed the absence of formalities and somewhat menacing tone in his voice, surprised.

Hweseung seemed to shrink and nodded quickly, eyes wide. “Y-yeah, let's go.”

He gestured for you to follow him, so you did, finding yourself stopped in a lobby—maybe a back room kind of lobby.

A lot of things surprised you lately, but you had gotten used to it. However, you found yourself shocked to see a woman standing near the door, white phone to her ear. She had her eyes directly on Hweseung as she spoke to the person she was calling.

“He just arrived, so we’ll be out soon.” She pulled it from her ear and pocketed it, heading toward the three of you. “Hey, Hweseung. I see you brought assistance like we told you to.”

He turned red, and nodded. “Yeah… I didn't want it to be so hard like last time.”

“Are you going to introduce me or am I supposed to know who she is?” she added, a perky smile on her face.

“I'm Y/N,” you offered, before studying her features quickly. She had long, wavy, auburn hair and freckles. She seemed foreign, but her Korean was almost natural, so it threw you off.

She nodded, folding her arms loosely. She had a cool, friendly vibe that was only emphasized by her bright smile and mischievous glint in her eyes. “I'm Rachel. If it's easier, you can call me Hyerin, but… Rachel is my name.”

“Rachel?” you repeated, quickly getting the pronunciation. “It's nice to meet you.”

“I'm Hun,” Hun said, with a ‘duh’ tone that sparked your curiosity. “Rachel, don't pretend you didn't see me.”

Rachel gasped and turned to him with a smug look. “Sorry, I just didn't recognize you. It's been a while.”

He rolled his eyes, and Hweseung moved toward the exit doors. “We should go now, guys.”

Rachel skipped to him and exited first, quickly followed by the other three.

They led you to a small black pickup truck, its back covered securely. A man leaned against the car, assuming a relaxed stance.

He waved when he spotted Rachel, who hurried to him with a smile. Hweseung and Hun were walking side by side, nudging each other like two brothers would; just to annoy each other. You felt a bit out of place, but you realized there wasn't much you could do about it.

Even though you were somewhat distracted by the four opening the cover and chatting lightheartedly, you marveled at the sky you hadn't seen in so long. The air around you was pleasant, and clouds were evenly spaced out. Everything was so new, but you kept your excitement to yourself.

“So this shipment is mostly for fire protection and the likes,” the man was saying, his lips forming a little smile as he noticed you, “but there are some weapons.”

Hun shifted his gaze uneasily to you, which you caught immediately. You avoided eye contact and guiltily looked down.

“Let's bring it in,” the man continued.

Rachel grabbed a box first, and handed it to Hweseung. He let her stack another in his arms before marching back into the building.

The building—you hadn't seen the outside yet, but now that you have, you thought it looked more like a mansion than anything. It wasn't terribly large, though; more like two stories, plus the basement. But it looked as grand as it was on the inside, with lots of fancy architecture. If someone told you this was their home, you wouldn't believe them.

Rachel held out a smaller-sized box for you, and you quickly took it. It weighed a lot more than it looked, to say the least, and your arms immediately strained to keep it up. Rachel noticed and smiled sweetly.

“Thanks for helping, Y/N.”

You took that as permission to hurry inside, Hun holding the door for you. A trolley-like table to the side of the lobby was stacked with the other boxes, so you placed carefully with them. You tried to go back out for more, but Hun grabbed your wrist.

“Can you hold the door?”

You gratefully did so, watching the others carry in large, heavy crates. The man you hadn't been introduced to passed you with a curious smile. After setting down the box in his arms he came back to say, “That was the last one.”

You took that as your cue to go back inside and let go of your hold on the door. Rachel followed you and you heard the other man call out to her in confusion, already heading back to his truck.

“Come on, Joonie!” Rachel said enthusiastically, gesturing towards the inside. He started walking back hesitantly, and she looped her arm through his. “We should hang out with friends for once.”

“But it's not safe here,” he said seriously, trying to pull Rachel the other way.

“It's safer with other people than by ourselves,” she reasoned.

You walked toward Hun and Hweseung, who were elbowing each other again. You didn't mind it, but you were kind of uncomfortable at the moment. You felt more at ease next to Hun.

“Plus, my darling Kang-joon,” Rachel was saying at the door, “there are kind, strong, very attractive men here to protect us.”

Kang-joon’s face dropped immediately and he stopped in his tracks. “We’re leaving.”

Rachel pulled against him. “Hun! Tell him to stay!”

Hun threw her a lopsided smile and nudged Hweseung, who sighed.

“Kang-joon-hyung, just come in,” he whined, morphing his face into a frown and sticking out his bottom lip.

Wasn't he the assassin? And he definitely just did aegyo. You tried your best not to laugh, but failed when Hun giggled. You silently shook with laughter, a smile on your lips. You watched Rachel finally drag Kang-joon inside, though he still had a frown on his face.

Hweseung ended up sitting on a table, a few feet away from the boxes. Rachel sat next to him, and Kang-joon insisted on switching places with Hweseung, who obliged with a grumpy glare.

“So, Y/N,” Rachel said, a curious side-glance aimed at you, “I hear you've caused some trouble lately with weapons?”

You bit your lip nervously and tried to ignore the thought of the infirmary. “Yeah…”

“Where'd you hear that from?” Kang-joon wondered. “I haven't heard anything about that.”

Rachel shrugged, a smirk tugging at her mouth. “I just heard, doesn't matter what from.” Something told it was her way of telling him not to ask. “And shouldn't you introduce yourself to Y/N?”

“Tch.” He sighed and looked at you. “Hello, Y/N. I'm Kang-joon, DAY6’s main supplier. This is my girlfriend,” he poked Rachel’s cheek, “who helps me get the right supplies and keep track of things.”

The redhead smiled proudly and poked her boyfriend’s cheek in return. “I keep him safe, too. He's good with his hands and brain, I guess, but he can't use a weapon well.”

His cheeks turned pink and he looked at his lap. You felt the air quickly become awkward and Hweseung shuffled his feet next to you.

“Who's that?” Hun suddenly asked. You looked to where he was facing and widened your eyes in half-disbelief and half-fear.

Right outside the glass doors, a man with white-blonde hair stood.

It was Hajoon.

Summary: She can’t say no to her best friend pleading her to help him out. And unfortunately she can’t say no to jumping off a building and bungee jumping with 3 of the boys because her best friend had signed them up. Sometimes she really wished she could strangle him....

“You want me to join you where?” Róisín yelped into the phone as her best friend nervously started laughing. Hongjoong whined on the other end of the phone. “Please! I can’t do this by myself I need you with us! You really help them relax!” He practically whimpered in defeat before she even gave a set answer to what he’d asked of her. She patted the towel around her sweaty neck and dabbed up to her face for a moment, thinking her answer through. She then sighed, knowing full well she couldn’t deny him this favor when he was whining for her to accompany his group. She sat down on the ground and rested up against the mirror, drinking almost half her water bottle at once. “Alright fine.” She finally mumbled, realizing she’d left him in suspense for almost a minute already. “I promise you it'll be great! By the way it’s in two days. Might wanna speak to the manager first.” He said before hanging up on her. She scowled as she took the phone away from her ear, shaking her head while shutting the device off to set it on the ground next to the water bottle. “Jae-Jae Oppa!” She called, looking up toward her manager who stared at her expectantly. In the three years he’s worked with the redhead, Kim Jaemin-not to be mistaken for Na Jaemin of NCT Dream-has realized this crazy woman will find a way to do what she wants. With or without his help. So to make it the tiniest amount easier on his nerves, the two have decided no matter what it was she wanted, he’ll get it for her. Since it’s either that or he has three protective boys willing to fight tooth and nail for her. Just the thought of the last time Jaemin was unable to get something for Róisín, he heard about it not a half hour later from Jay asking what happened and why he said no, and then further went on to say she should do it if she really wanted to. And then an hour after that two someone’s had walked up to him asking him why he said no to their Red/Roe-Roe? Needless to say he jumped a little when she called him over to her before sighing softly at the specific tone she was using on him. “Róisín, you know you don’t have to call me that if you don’t want to.” He replied before standing in front of her frame still on the ground. She stood up happily and quickly before shaking her head. “No no, you’re Oppa now! I have to get used to the customs here eventually, should just start using the terms everyone is telling me about.” She pointed out with an easy grin, half in happiness and half in wanting to rile the older man up a bit. Jaemin smiled back a little and nodded his head, facing her fully so she knew he had her full attention. “What do you need then Angel?” He asked her softly, seeing her eyes light up the moment he focused in on her. She grinned innocently and clasped her hands together. “Soooo I just got off the phone with Hongjoongie and he would like me to-” “Oh yeah that, his manager just got ahold of me about that as well. I’m getting you tickets to meet up with them tomorrow so you can all see each other and prepare for shooting.” He told her quickly, cutting her off from trying to ask him to get her tickets. She squealed in excitement before rushing over to him to tackle him into a hug. “You’re the best manager ever Jae-Jae!” She cried happily, while her arms wrapped tight around the older man’s neck. He chuckled and pat her head affectionately, smiling at how excited the young woman looked to be able to go see her friends.

The moment she stepped out of the van to see the familiar cameras and boys around the highest point in the city they were in, she blinked in confusion once two of them ran up to her to hide behind her. “Save us Angel! Please!” San wailed, latching onto her waist while Mingi cried against her shoulder. She wrapped an arm around either boy and stared at Hongjoong expectantly, silently waiting for an answer to why two of her children were crying and asking her to save them. “Uh....4 of us are going bungee jumping.” He said with a sheepish grin. She tilted her head when she did the mental math, wondering just how that would work out until her manager snorted from behind her and gave her the answer she was mentally dreading. “I have to join you?! ARE YOU MAD?!” She screeched, wide eyed at the mullet wearing leader in front of her. Yunho was laughing a little at the turn of events and Wooyoung was about ready to run over to her to start crying as well. “I don’t wanna do this!” He cried finally, rushing over after his mental struggle for a good few seconds. Finally with her anger sated, for the moment, and herself placed right next to Hongjoong with a glower on her face, the episode was able to start. “I’ve been ignoring you all since we got to the airport.” He said with a laugh, sensing the fear from the other guys and the anger from Róisín. He laughed evilly when he heard her mumbling, “I will murder you in your sleep.” with a very fake smile on her face at the other boys squirming around them in fear. He then looked at the 5 people surrounding him. “I’ll jump last since I volunteered us to go.” He offered, sensing a heavy glare on his face. Mingi just stared at him in defeat. “You’re cool.” He mumbled, slowly stepping closer to his Noona to seek her comfort due to his fear creeping into his system. She wrapped an arm around him and pat his side comfortingly, opting to try and calm the boy down instead of glare down her second best friend. Poor Mingi was ignored again while Hongjoong just laughed at his weak attempt at flattery. Yunho was so close to dying of laughter, Róisín ended up giving him a look to try and shush him up. Obviously he laughed harder at that. Finally between the two giants, Hongjoong and Róisín stood side by side, wondering who they would be taking bungee jumping with them, and looked to each other with evil smirks. She barely gave any indication to one of the boys when Hongjoong nodded his head at her, completely agreeing with her decision. The two then lifted their hands up, one hand at each of the boys’ backs before gently shoving the familiar back of the eldest of the two; Yunho. The poor boy stumbled a little at the sudden push and blinked in surprise with a small yelp, realizing just what happened. Mingi immediately started celebrating his victory of being able to stay on the ground as Hongjoong and Róisín both jumped around happily with their decision. Yunho pointed at himself as if he didn’t believe the turn of event, “Me? Really?” He asked them both, who simply nodded with devilish grins plastered on both their faces like a mirror. He was about ready to chase after the eldest in the group before Hongjoong stopped him and pushed him back wards where San and Wooyoung were standing. “Okay okay, no more of that. Maybe you can push her off the building.” Hongjoong suggested, earning a very alarm screech from the redhead behind him. He chuckled a little while the last two stared at him wide eyed, wondering what he’d ask them to do. Róisín, at hearing she might be getting pushed, decided she was going to try hiding herself beside Mingi who could only hold her in his arms awkwardly. “I don’t like this anymore! I wanna go home...” She grumbled, glancing over at her manager who tried his best to hide from her looks. If she was being honest she didn’t even pay attention to the two who were supposed to be doing aegyo to get out of bungee jumping. Hongjoong motioned her over with a smirk as he decided this time on who to choose, both of them glancing at each other for just a second before shoving the pastel pink boy in the back. Hongjoong twirled away with a loud laugh, spinning in circles a couple times as Róisín grinned wide at the look on the boys faces. Wooyoung stared at the two with his jaw dropped, fear starting to show in his eyes the longer he looked. “Yah!” He shouted, pointing at the redhead who winked at him innocently. Hongjoong wrapped an arm around the woman’s shoulder and grinned with her at the younger member, laughing a little once they noticed Yunho and Mingi waving goodbye to him. “Wooyoungie will jump first!” Hongjoong decided while glancing over at Yunho who had started chasing Róisín to the elevator. She was laughing loudly and if the cameras weren’t on the group, all of them probably would’ve tried stopping her to hug her at the cute sound they hardly get to hear from her since she’s always working so hard. The 5 that were picked/volunteered to go bungee jumping crowded into the elevator, Wooyoung still looking like he was about to cry while the others all quietly worried to themselves. “I still cannot believe you signed me up for this too. What the hell were you thinkin boi?” Róisín hissed quietly to Hongjoong with a glare on him, talking to him in English to the other two couldn’t understand as well as their leader. Hongjoong thought about her words for a second, party so he could make sure he actually knew what she said to him before mumbling back a quiet, “I’m sorryyyyy.” At which she huffed in annoyance. They then started looking outside at the world before them as they steadily climbed to the top of the tower, the four boys cringing in fear while Róisín simply gaped at how far up they were, wanting to go so far as to press herself into the glass. Yunho unfortunately pulled her back since the doors dinged at the perfect time. “Nooooo I wanna seeee.” She whined while letting the giant drag her into the lobby looking area.

The fact that their fearless best friend was quivering in fear on top of the building with a harness strapped to her body, might have been enough to give half of them enough sense to beg and plead to get out of the whole situation. Unfortunately, that wasn’t something they could do. Instead, Wooyoung ended up going first, eyes closed and wanting so much to cry and scream at his leader in this particular moment. “Goodbye my friends. I’ll miss you when I die.” He stated dramatically as Róisín’s arms snaked around him in a comforting hug. He then latched onto Róisín as he started towards where he was going to be jumping from, fear etched into his face. “I can’t do this. Don’t make me do this. I’m gonna die.” He muttered over and over again. Before the two were able to make it out to the ledge, the instructors gently asked them to let go of each other and moved Wooyoung away from him. “Wait, can’t I go out there with him and the others for moral support? Look how terrified he is!” Róisín said, motioning to the poor boy latching onto the support of his harness in fear. The workers frowned as they glanced at each other. “I don’t think that’s a good idea...” One started until they saw the look on her face as she motioned to the camera person outside to video tape Wooyoung. “If they can be out here to record this, I should be able to go out there to help the boys!” She called out in frustration, putting her hands on her hips. The workers looked at each other again before nodding their heads, finally deciding to let her out with Wooyoung, who latched onto her while they bustled around the two to get him attached to their rig. Wooyoung stared at her wide eyed and she smiled a little as she rubbed his head. “Hey, it’ll be fine. Don’t worry okay?” She told him, still smiling. He gave a grimace back before the helmet was placed on his head. “Wooyoungie! Fighting!” She cried with a grin, giving him a thumbs up once he turned to look at her wide eyed. She could only watch as he shakily stepped up to the ledge and took in a couple breaths. She glanced over to see Hongjoong and Yunho watching the show from the safety of the window, wide eyed. She gave them both a thumbs up before she saw out of the corner of her eye Wooyoung jumping off the ledge. “Wooooo!” She cried out with a laugh, ignoring the shakiness in her own legs at the thought of having to do that herself. Once Yunho had walked out to stop next to her, she wrapped him up in a hug. “Okay, I’m gonna be honest and say this looks terrifying. Just so you know.” She said softly before looking up at his face. He was just staring down at the ground in quiet fear, probably thinking of ways to get out of this predicament. She sighed gently and rested her hands against his face. “Yunnie, look at me.” She said, getting him to look into her green eyes. She then smiled and kissed his forehead to help ease his nerves while he stared at her wide eyed. “N-Noona...” He mumbled awkwardly when he noticed one of the workers giving him a smirk. She giggled quietly and stood on her toes for a moment to ruffle his hair. “Don’t forget to try and have fun. Imagine you’re flying!” She suggested to him, grinning when he just gave her a look to get her to stop talking. Hongjoong was laughing behind the two and when Róisín turned to see him, he was grinning at her evilly while making kissy faces, to which she stuck her tongue out at him and flipped him off. She honestly didn’t care that they were on camera in that moment. He stuck his tongue out at her in response while Yunho fought the urge to hug her at the adorable face she was making. Róisín stood back once Yunho got himself ready to jump, the workers double checking that the strings and attachments were set up like Wooyoung’s. And with barely any shake to his legs and a small amount of hesitation (probably thanks to Róisín‘s encouragement but he won’t tell anyone) he jumped. Róisín leaned over the railing a little to watch him fall and gasped in surprise at how insane it looked as he fell, and he did it so gracefully too; she was so mad. Next Hongjoong stepped out to be beside her, grinning wide as the two looked at each other. “Ready for this?” He asked her over the sound of the wind. She shook her head as she was being tied up just like Yunho and Wooyoung. “I know I was being encouraging for them, but I can’t do this. This is too much I-” She was about to finished her sentence when Hongjoong pressed a hand to her mouth and shushed her with a small laugh. He continued grinning at her and shook his head, somehow managing to completely hide the fear in his eyes as he stared at her. “You’ll do great! If you need to, close your eyes.” He told her, gently pushing her to the edge while he waited for his own harness to get tethered up. She looked back at him wide eyed, her hand reaching back toward him. “H-Hongjoongie!” She yelped as they leaned her over the edge. She could faintly hear the boys down below screaming for her, but all she was able to do was stare at Hongjoong as if she were about to fall to her death. “Fighting!” He shouted back, before they let her fall over the edge. A blood curdling scream left her as she dropped straight down, tears in her eyes and a frightened look in her eye. It took her a second or two to calm down from her panic before she realized it was over and she was dropped slowly to the ground. San, Wooyoung, Mingi and Yunho were all circling around her as some more workers caught her frame and gently set her on the ground to take the harness off. The poor redhead was barely able to stand on her feet once the harness was off and she was able to meet up with the guys. “N-Never again.” She whimpered, clutching Mingi’s frame who was trying very hard not to laugh at his noona’s pain. Wooyoung and Yunho wrapped her up in a triangle like hug and jumped around with her, supporting her weight since she still looked about ready to collapse. “We did it Noona!” They cried together, laughing a little when she just groaned at the way they moved her around. San then pulled the two off of her and wrapped an arm around her waist to keep her steady, her own arm wrapping around his shoulders to lean against him. “At least someone cares.” She whined, glaring over at Jaemin who was smirking at her. She gave him one last look before she looked up at the yelling going on above her. “Hongjoong-Hyung fighting!” Each of the boys were screaming, and she looked over at San who was yelling with the others. He looked back at her in confusion and she just smiled at him. “Did you guys yell for all of us?” She asked him sweetly, seeing him nodding happily in answer. He grinned and ruffled her hair. “We screamed the loudest for Noona because we knew she needed all the help she could get. You don’t say it much since you’re always focusing on taking care of everyone else, but you’re just as easily frightened as we are.” He mentioned while letting her try and walk on her own seeing as she was moving away from him slightly. She just pouted before the group rushed towards their leader who was making his way down to the same platform Róisín had just walked off of. “We did it” Hongjoong shouted happily, feeling mightily accomplished while the group hugged it out. She took a moment to watch them and couldn’t help taking out her phone to snap a photo. Seeing the pure joy on their faces as they hugged and talked about what they’d just accomplished made her smile a little to herself while looking at the images. She didn’t even notice when Hongjoong pulled out his own phone to take a picture of her. “Gotcha!” He called out, earning her attention with a smirk. She blinked a moment before he showed her the picture. She then frowned and sighed. “Nooooo I said no photos.” She whined, grabbing for the phone in his hands while he moved it away from her. He stuck his tongue out at her while Mingi pulled her into a bone crushing hug. “GROUP PHOTO!” Wooyoung screamed which got the group to quickly form around the squirming redhead and snap a happy photo, with her laughing at their weirdness.

Before she was able to get back in the van to meet up with the rest of the guys for their tour or whatever they were doing, she really didn’t pay attention, she was pulled to the side for a small interview:

“What did you think of the fall?” “Oh gosh, I was terrified. Putting on a strong façade is hard when you’re so high up pretty much freefalling headfirst towards the ground.” A smile graced her face with a tiny laugh.

“Do you think you’re closer to the guys now?” “I was close with them before, but for sure this probably made us closer. They’re part of my family and I am super proud of where they’re at right now. I love them all so much.” Tender and caring smile on her face while she glanced towards the boys goofing off.

“You have no idea just how proud I am of these guys. They’re so strong and talented that I’m not surprised they did something like this. Not to mention I think some of us got over a fear today. They’ve worked so hard to get where they are and the fact they already have such a strong fanbase is amazing. I’m hoping to follow them as long as they allow me to, just like they did for me. Oh, is that all you need? It looks like we’re getting ready to go now. Bye! Thank you so much! I love you all!

Luckily as soon as she got in the van with the boys, they decided to give her some peace and quiet to sleep. They must’ve noticed she wasn’t sleeping well and then jumping off a building on top of that was difficult. So she curled up into Yunho’s side, rested her head on his shoulder and almost immediately passed out. The boys were debating on asking Jaemin questions about her schedule since she seemed a lot more run down and tired than before. This new comeback she was working on must’ve been a hectic one indeed. Hongjoong went so far as to take a few photos though seeing as he wouldn’t be her best friend if he didn’t....and blackmailing her seemed to be the only way he could get anything out of her. “She’s gonna kill you when she sees those.” Mingi mumbled for everyone in the van to hear. Hongjoong grinned innocently and put a finger to his lips for everyone to keep their mouths shut, that way she wouldn’t know until he showed them to her. “I’m telling Noona!” San shouted a little too loud on accident, wincing immediately when the group hear the eldest stirring in her seat. Wooyoung swatted his head and shook his own head at the antics. “Are you trying to wake up the dragon? She’s terrifying when she first wakes up, and Seonghwa-Hyung isn’t here to soothe her!’ Wooyoung hissed. “You’re right....he isn’t here....” Someone growled from the back of the van, earning yelped and squeaks from the other 5 musicians in the vehicle. “Look what you did!” “Me?! I’m innocentl!” “....you’re all dead to me...” “Noona I didn’t do anything!” “Can we all just be quiet! She’s not the only one trying to sleep!” “Sorry Yunho, let’s got back to sleep now...”
