We love a boy who can communicate and does because his mom reminded him that lying, especially to himself, is bad. And so he talks. And he explains. And he is kind and he is gentle and he is scared but he is honest.

This boy is about to experience a very big mindshift. And entire flip of his mindset.

Kazuhito's world is so much warmer and brighter than Ryo's, so yellow and orange to his cold blues. I love them deeply and this boy is in love.

I love this angel and this consent king who literally won't even kiss him when he isn't sure he means it. Absolutely perfect. We love a man who wants his kisses to be real and thought out and not just a momentary thing to be regretted. Love it here, @absolutebl, Japan jumping into the consent game again with both feet.

I love him so much. I love them so much. Because Ryo's world is much brighter when we're closer in on the two of them, though not as bright as Kazuhito's world. What a perfect confession between them two of them.

I adore a confession like this and I love them both, they're so tiny and so soft and so sweet. Beloved boys!

The cold walls and the warm windows, the wartmth they find inside and together versus the cold of their uncertainties that mostly come from outside but also from deep-seated insecurities that they can't so easily escape.

• If you are in school or have a job, Murayama will make it a point to randomly show up to walk you to or from these places and home. Part of him just likes spending the time with you, but another more protective side of him likes to make sure you’re safe if you’re walking across town to get where you need to be. He’ll act all casual about it, making excuses like he was “just in the area,” but it’ll happen often enough that you know his intentions.

• He’s a big texter. Like, not normally, but if he’s interested in you then he’ll try to text you as much as possible. Usually it’ll be random things like a question he has on his mind, or something that happened during his day that he thought to share with you. Maybe a funny picture he took of Seki picking his nose. Just whatever, doesn’t really matter, he just likes chatting with you even when he can’t be with you. You’re on his mind a lot. He likes calling too, but there’s something nice and easy about sending you a text whenever he finds himself thinking of things to say to you.

• Speaking of calling, he loves an occasional late night phone call. Usually if it’s really late, and everyone else is sleeping but sleep is having trouble finding him. Murayama will text you asking if you’re still awake, and if you are, he’ll ask if it’s okay to talk on the phone. He really just likes hearing your voice; it relaxes him.

• Even though he likes texting and calling you, he likes seeing you in person even more. Murayama will constantly try to make plans with you, even if it’s something simple like running to the convenience store to grab a quick snack. There’s no end to the amount of time Murayama could spend with you; he’ll give you space if you need or want it, but if you allow him to, he could hangout with you everyday. He’s just working up the courage to ask if those casual “hangouts” can become a date someday.

• One thing he likes to do is invite you to watch his fights. Nothing big or serious, but playful spars between him and friends or him and the other Oya delinquents. He’d love it if you cheered him on, because he really just wants to impress you. There’s no way he’s going to lose with you watching him. Also, he’ll ask you to clean any booboos he gets afterwards, half jokingly, but also half hoping you’ll say yes.

watched this movie for takuya kimura only for him to have 10 minutes of screen time after the 1h20m mark. beautifully shot movie, very melancholic and pretty spicy movie. a bit confusing but that's my fault, maybe i should have read the synopsis before going in totally blind lmao. (2046, 2004)

Yumeno called me out so fucking bad this episode. When he said he obviously wasn't expecting Mishima to be a woman, but was still startled at seeing his dick, I related too fucking hard. "My dad told me to cut the grass. I have to go home," when you're on your knees for someone is HILARIOUS 😭There are people like that, right? It's semi-common for people to forget that guys they like have penises. Idk, I do that sometimes. There's a lot of specific experiences that are in this show that make me feel like the writers are in my freaking brain. I, too, have seen a dick and suddenly wanted to go home.

Yumeno wasn't even as bad as Mishima, who fully fucking vomited right in front of Fujii when she took off her clothes, but anyways, Kirino crying when Yumeno told him what happened was so cute. He was empathizing with Mishima while also crying over his own friendship with Yumeno. If Yumeno is straight, doesn't that mean he and Kirino can't be friends? Those two are soooo cute. I'm sure they'll work it out. Chaotic pookies.

The way Mishima wasn't even really that into Yumeno and wasn't enthusiastic at all about where Yumeno was taking things at the river, but still got sad about being rejected was so real. Crying over a boy who wanted you first is SO REAL!! Pobrecito. I'm so interested to see where their dynamic goes from here.

I don't have Drama Otaku so I'm watching the episodes with really bad auto generated, auto translated subs and filling in the gaps with my own extremely limited understanding of Japanese. I'm freaking FEENING for a more accurate translation of what the neighborhood ladies were saying about Mishima and Yumeno. Let me into their tea omfg. Also, it took me WAY too long to realize that Yumeno's dad is supposed to be a white American😭😭 For a hot minute I was like why the fuck does he talk like that, and then when I noticed the blue contacts everything clicked 💀 His outfit is fucking killing me

Her mother thinks she had wasted her youth being a hikikomori, which further adds to her anxieties and self doubt.

Her grandpa thinks she's done a lot as he knows doing the simple things for a person struggling with mental health is challenging.

The mother look at the negative side while the grandpa look at the positive side, thinking she's taking small steps in the right direction.

Her mother's negativity caused her to withdraw back into her shell while her grandpa's positivity make her want to explore the world.

The way we start the episode, with Yoh in the shirt Segasaki bought for him and obviously coming out to show him, eager to be seen in his new gift and only a little nervous... He's so desperate to be loved.

And Segasaki gives him what Yoh so desperately craves... words of affirmation! And Yoh absolutely lights up. He is desperate for love but he needs that love in the most straightforward words possible or he'll overthink every movement, touch and choice and that seems to be something Segasaki still doesn't recognize. He still, and constantly, tries to show love in every other way besides words.

But this was so good. This showed exactly what Yoh is looking for and that Segasaki can give it. Look at his smile! He lights up like fireworks, so bright and brilliant, just from that tiny little compliment. I am losing my mind over them, okay?

And Segasaki steps in with the order, taking control of the situation and their relationship again... but in the process forcing Yoh to break a promise and putting him a position where he, again, is reminded that he agreed to obey him. Which he might enjoy but because he still doesn't totally believe that Segasaki loves him... well, it's a lot harder.

In which Segasaki gives orders that are about love but because he uses orders without words of affection... Yoh misunderstands and is ashamed instead. I absolutely believe that if Yoh felt loved, he would view all of these orders differently. But he doesn't. Because the one love language he recognizes is the one that Segasaki uses the most sparingly and with the least clarity.

Can I also point out that Segasaki is constantly bathed in light this entire scene, bright and unearthly, while Yoh is very grounded and more in the shadows. It's because Segasaki knows that he loves Yoh and that Yoh cares about him return while Yoh is still confused and unsure about their relationship and how he feels, let alone how Segasaki feels.

Welcome back to 'Yoh desperately wants to be loved and owned exactly as Segasaki is doing it but needs verbal and language-forward confirmation that Segasaki simply doesn't think anyone should need'.

The bright and nearly colorless Segasaski looming over Yoh as he tells his Matsudaira he was ordered to stay home and you can feel his own tension here, between wanting the orders but also that doubt he still has about Segasaki and it's just all so good.

Have I mentioned that Yoh is tiny and adorable and confused and desperate because he is and he breaks my heart. Because he is so loved and he could be so, so happy but the communication barrier between himself and Segasaki is a mile wide and a mile high and neither one of them knows how to scale it. It is especially not helped by the nature of their relationship and what Yoh needs from Segasaki.

Yoh knowing that his friend is a huge fan of Segasaki and that Segasaki will turn on the charm with her in a way he so rarely does with him and the fact that he can't trust that charm. The panic. But also the complete lack of reaction to Segasaki pushing him across the hall. That doesn't bother him at all.

She's more sure about their relationship than Yoh is. I love that.

The isolation that Yoh feels isn't changing. He's still unsure about their relationship or where he stands with Segasaki, insecure and afraid and he still feels like he's always on shaky ground, like Segasaki turns on the charm with everyone but him.

This is what she sees. Not what Yoh sees. And that's where the disconnect lies. Because you have to look past just his words to see Segasaki's love but Yoh is afraid of trusting that. He's unsure how to read the way he acts and how to respond and so much of his aloofness is a desperate attempt to protect himself.

Yoh clings to Segasaki desperately while he says this because what he hates is the insecurity and the unsure way he feels and everything about this relationship that leaves him on shaky and unsteady ground all the time, constantly going from one emotional feeling to another without a break inbetween.

Segasaki loves Yoh so much but he enjoys him jealous and childish and he likes the way he is as a brat... the problem is that he isn't giving Yoh the steady base he needs to also be himself and Segasaki is starting to see that. He wants the old things they used to share but can't have them because Yoh is constantly on unsteady ground with him and so cannot give him what he wants except when he's drunk or otherwise in a more extreme state.

This is probably the most interesting moment here. Because it's obvious that Segasaki really loves this side of Yoh, when he's a little jealous and very clingy and very needy and just wants to be with him and be loved and be tamed. But, right now, the only way to get it is for him to be drunk.

But how much of that is Segasaki's choices coming into play? He still hasn't figured out that Yoh's singular love language is words and that he needs this kind of thing spelled out to him or he overthinks and spirals no matter how much orders Segasaki gives him to the contrary. Because Segasaki is definitely the brat-tamer Dom here and Yoh wants that, needs that, but he also needs the words in order to recognize what's going on.

Just because everyone else sees what's going on doesn't mean he does.
