The thing about my kippah journey is that I both forget I'm wearing it and that people can perceive me the way I perceive them, and I had a really funny interaction when I was getting a snack and energy drink to treat myself

Breathing into a paperbag thinking about the possibility of Elbaf digging the conflict from Water 7 back up again and maybe exploring some long-term repercussions of Luffy and Usopp’s fight that not even they themselves were aware of and and and and and-
LISTEN. the Water 7 Saga absolutely rewired the way I understood the crew and how each member views themselves and the roles they play. And it’s been some time since the Strawhat’s exploration of the New World has allowed them to really take time and consider themselves and each other like that again.
And Elbaf just sounds (MUAH) like such a wonderful opportunity to do exactly that, it sounds perfect, primarily in the way it ties all the way back to the Strawhat’s early days on the Grand Line. And when you look at the presence of the Giant Pirates in Little Garden and Enies Lobby, what they share is that both times the Giants Served the purpose mirroring the conflicts between the crewmates and highlighting the importance of loyalty and comradery. Shit writes itself. Come on Elbaf don’t let me down. Come on Usopp I know you can hit us with another world shattering arc just take the stage love.
#remember when Dorry and Brogy’s story served to introduce us to Zoro and Sanji’s rivalry#by showing that even though they fight constantly theyd break if they lost each other and deep down they are still crew#and now we have an unresolved death pact looming over the two of them#Remember when Kashi and Oimo taught Usopp that the cost of loyalty can b great and harrowing but it is beyond rewarding for the right perso#just when he was doubting wether he was truly strong enough to stand at Luffy’s side or at all capable of the bravery needed to be a pirate#and now he’s going to have to look these friends and allies in the eye and be the one to show them all that his decision to remain-#-a Strawhat has brought him#when asked to look at his journey so far and ask himself if he’s truly reached his ideals will he be able to smile wide and say yes?#or will the seeds of doubt and anxiety start planting themselves in his heart again?#hell you know what would be rlly cool for me. #i have been sobbing or alternatively holding back tears through sheer force of will for 13 hours#and i'm exhausted#welcome to the part of rags that processes on a delay#i'm a great person to have in an emergency#the emotional crap hits the fan afterward#the church is breaking my heart#and yet all of this -gestures wildly- is succeeding in making me look a little more kindly on history#a previous me would often ask#'where was the church/the good people during the crusades and the events that led up to the trail of tears and the holocaust' and on and on#and i think the answer is they were right there#history is afterall not written by who loved best but by who won#they were right there#loving hard and weeping and trying and crying out to God to turn his people's hearts back to mercy and away from power#today's endless and damless lament can be compared to only a handful of times in my life so far#(thank heaven for that)#the unexpected death of a friend and the borderline nervous breakdown at the lowest point of depression#and then you have today#it's such a tangle of things and too complicated for even me to name a lot of it#but most of it is heartbreak from how the (especially american bc that is where i am) church is failing Christ and each other and the world#i can handle bad from the world#i cannot hold the weight of this idolatry to power#thank God this place is not my home and that the church#though deeply wounded by its own excesses and self-serving#is being redeemed and forever belongs to Christ and his kingdom#these kingdoms of earth shatter and trample us#the only thing to hold onto is the kingdom of heaven#i have cried myself sick and i'm going to bed

after months of eyeing animal well i finally caved in and bought it, and im having a blast. looking everywhere for hidden shit is my favorite thing and unlike some games tunic the puzzles have been fairly intuitive. im expecting to hit a wall soon since im in the postgame and running out of places to look for items and collectibles but at this point making me look at a walkthrough is fair enough. havent had such a fun time with a game since outer wilds, though i still wouldnt compare the two.

#im making an utena cosplay and following a pattern for the jacket and im skipping so many steps in the pattern#I don't have enough fabric for the lining so I'm not lining it and also not interfacing it because i don't have interfacing#and also I'm skipping those steps because I'm going to a halloween thing in 5 days and i wabt to finish this project#and finishing it means making it not be a huge endeavour for me because then i won't even start#adhd procrastination and time blindness versus (nearly) immediate deadline. fight#I've never sewn clothes on my own before. or at least never finished the things I've started. so I'm proud of myself so far#even though I've made a lot of mistakes and it's probably not going to look great#probably no one's going to look too close#hopefully#sewing

#orbweaver my angel........ she's such a lover#she's doing So good. she's so ready to be done mothering as well. one more week...#her claws looked Nightmarish and she was very dandruffy before. she also had a lot of scabs that came off with chunks o' fur#but she's since shed her claws (it was honestly horrible in its own right to see. they moreso Peeled away. it was yucky)#and they're looking Great now. and she really likes being brushed and wiped (she really likes getting her Ears Cleaned⁉️ unusual but good)#so no more clumps of fur just Sloughing Off. no more Ass Dandruff either. it was at the base of her tail but it's funnier to say assdandruff#like me slapping the base of dragon's tail and calling it Slapping his ass. it's Their Top Ass (normal statement)#she's got a bit of a sensitive tummy though. idk if that'll ever pass#so far we're just figuring out what she can eat that Won't make her tummy rumble and have her farting asunder#nulo fussie cat and pure harmony are all a bust in that regard. but tiki cat and wellness are good#chicken flavour stuff settled her tummy good. a couple weeks ago i just boiled chicken and gave her some#and that helped a Ton in getting her a bit more stable digestionwise#she's so sweet and purry all the time too i'm so endeared by this little lady#i love you. kitty cats.

No, but seriously, can you imagine how utterly surreal it is to be Song Taewon and have two of the most unhinged people on the planet both decide to become intensely invested in your life and health after knowing you for like five seconds? One of them uses aggressive mob tactics to try and get you to let them chauffeur you around, the other is a little guy you could crush with your pinky on accident who hunts you down in the middle of a pit of monsters with a packed lunch convinced you will starve if he doesn’t personally feed you. You have to play an intense game of de-escalation at literally all times to keep this same random guy from calling and yelling at your boss about your sleep schedule, and this is still an improvement on that time you barely convinced him it wasn’t necessary to utterly annihilate your place of work to get you more vacation time. The other one has probably historically attempted to set your closet and/or you yourself on fire so he can buy you clothes.
You just want to live your corporate slave life and resist the dark yearnings of your soul in PEACE but instead you’re having to dodge two very powerful men who both desperately want to take care of you.

I'm finally listening to Alec Benjamin's newest album 12 Notes, and he really has me over here looking up the definitions of multiple words. Like your songs sound great, and the wordplay is immaculate, but unfortunately, I just don't know what conflagration means.
